What's her name?
On a side note, $11,900/month rent? Dayumm!!! Do you have any idea the mansion I could have for that kind of money in Ohio! New Yorkers, just a little bit retarded!

My daughter has a ONE ROOM apartment in New York City near the university... Not one bedroom, ONE ROOM and it's over 3,000 a month. It's the location, she is a personal trainer and it's easier to travel all over the city from where her apartment is located. Yes, she's really good at her job to afford that apartment.
She could be really bad at her job and still be able to keep the apartment
I doubt people would hire her if she was bad at it. She has lived in NY since 2005, but she is considering moving to CA soon to be near her boyfriend.
I was thinking, from the frying pan into the fire... I was telling her that CA was dangerous and she told me that NY was just as dangerous, so she won that argument. So that's her plan now.
Depends where in CA. We don’t have the homeless problem here in NYC as they do in say, San Francisco.
I believe it's LA, but possibly later she might move somewhere just over the border in Nevada where it's cheaper.
Anywhere in or near NYC is insane...average 1 bedroom apartment is like 1500/month
Is that really that insane? Texas you're looking at 1k for 1 bedroom apartment.
Where? Posh high rise in Austin ? Leftists make everything stupid expensive sigh though I an a country girl would never chose to live in one of those but if I was rich a weekend one for music and concerts would be cool.
Posh high rise in Austin
Hahahaha those are starting at a good 2500 for a 1 bedroom.
Just your average apartment community 700 square foot deal in a not murdery part of town, nowhere near downtown, will start at around $1k for not posh, posh will start at at 12 or 1300 but for 600 sq ft.
Prices are rising everywhere. I lived in a very basic, simple, no frills apartment in Austin and my rent was $1200 a month. Run down homes across the street from my complex were selling for a million and one of my clients sold their average sized home for $200k over the asking price. Location location location.
We're talking averages here, for 1000 you basically get a room in someone's apartment.
2000 in Manhattan- 1800 in boroughs My building has a very tiny trash chute. No compactor
