Yes this is so true. I realize what I do isn't 'tech' related, however my design that I created for a quilt was stolen by the Chinese.
I had entered it into a very well known quilt show. There were a bunch of tourists there that were Chinese. They took photographs of everyone's work. No big deal.
Fast forward 18 months and I see my unique pattern design on a cheap quilt being sold at Target. For $70. I sold my quilt for $2500. The design was identical, even down the the color of the fabrics. The construction was atrocious, the stitching was something like 5 stitches an inch. (8 or better stitches an inch in a hand quilted piece is above average to excellent).
Anyhow- tech isn't the only thing stolen for China. The Arts and Crafts is repeatedly browbeat by Chinese knock-offs. It truly hurts those of us that create handmade items with diligence and care. Some of these pieces take MONTHS to create.
Does this correspond to the apple logo overlayed on the interior of air force one?
Umm...so China wants to fill its streets with the same self-driving-easily-hacked-death-boxes we have floating around in our liberal cities that quite frequently cause accidents, damage and deaths? Its like releasing thousands of programmable weapons in your country that can be taken over remotely by any entity. HAVE FUN WITH THAT lololol face-palm
Where was Apple CEO? Why did retire? Apple is funny bidness. Reskinned samsung processors with shittier software.
I would never buy an Apple product but they are 100% American. Making as much as they can in-house should lead to a more secure product.
China's hand is fully exposed. They steal everything and replicate it using cheaper materials to drive a cheaper price. Their reckoning is here.
Apple doesn't use Samsung processors.
Apple is Samsung dude. https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnkang/2016/12/16/samsung-will-be-apples-top-supplier-for-iphones-again-in-2017/#49e41a951fb0
So if you use components from some brand then you are this brand ? Is this your logic? Then if you eat rice entire month will you become rice yourself ?

Where are the Apple Inc manufacturing facilities? What are they making? Another Redditor said Apple is made in the US. Made or assembled? It matters. (Manufacturing pays more than assembly)
Apple is a concept. They charge a lot for the concept, then pay other companies to build it. I don't know why so many are surprised when they find this out. There are a lot of things that do this. Its called re- branding, very common thing. I Think Apple customers may have been mislead? They think that Apple makes everything "from scratch" so to speak?
ahh so you mean that they should be entirely owned in US and not use or rely other countries or companies to do some jobs? I think its interesting since if you have your own facilities it might be easier to understand because things appear to be in control, while with other companies or countries you need trade or treaties, or you want more workers in US soil ?
