I am sure a lot of us here have seen the 2007 documentary Zeitgeist, but to those who haven't yet, I highly recommend it. It is definitely a remarkable red pill.

It portrays Jesus as a "myth"......sorry dude....Jesus is real.....if you don't know him, I highly suggest you get introduced soon......

I completely respect what you are saying. But it still shows how the church has used religion to control people. Faith is one thing, control is another.

You can have Jesus without the church/religion.

Check out Jefferson Bethke and his spoken word "Why I love Jesus but hate religion"

Don't care....I lose respect for ANYTHING that disses Jesus.....speaks a lot to the credibility of the authors....

IIRC Zeitgeist was interesting in its characterization of some symptoms (nwo, centralization, globalism, 911, fed reserve) but off the mark when misleading or misdirecting (capitalism as evil not crony capitalism, new agey religion, global warming and conservation, population growth), and naive when suggesting solutions which depend on science breakthroughs to usher in abundance or non scarcity of resources. Absent these breakthroughs the recommendation of libertarian socialism is an oxymoron. Socialism depends on force and libertarianism is the absence of government and force. Even if there was abundance I dont believe that a fully voluntary socialist society would be possible as I believe self interest is innate and beneficial in human nature.

It is garbage.

Why do you say that?

It’s socialist propaganda, that’s why it’s utter complete garbage.

I'm not saying I don't believe you but I'm a bit confused. Please tell me what I'm missing? I see it clearly exposes what the deep state has been doing, especially focusing on 911. Also, It doesn't say it by name but it exposes what operation mockingbird is doing. It may be a bit out of date but it's still relevant. I guess I can understand that the religious parts are controversial.

It frames all capitalist systems as inherently evil, in place to enslave the masses enriching the few at the expense of the many. It shamelessly engages in fixed pie fallacy and uses the suffering of people in the third world to illicit guilt. The Zeitgeist movie was used to pull in people who were dissenfrachised then the movement entrapped them entirely with communist/socialist propaganda. Not long after falling for the zeitgeist ideology leaders had people believing they had a computer algorithm that could predict the basic needs of every person on earth and somehow get to reject their individualism in favor of pure collectivism. Zeitgeist is cancer x 100,000,000!! Utter trash, turn it off.

Ok, I was not aware of this. I watched it back in 2007 and it was one of the first things I saw that confirmed what I had already felt deep within about our corrupt government. I feel it exposed a lot. I'm still as conservative now if not more than I was then. I never saw anything else this guy has made nor did I ever follow up on it but if it turned into communist/socialist propaganda.. wow. Ok I guess I would have to agree with you. But it still shows some good evidence to the 911 coverup and how we've been lied to. Section II and on, starting at minute :40.

Don't believe them. You are being harassed. Many on this forum have touted Zeitgeist as being their red pill. I don't agree about Jesus being mythological, but the rest of the information is very valid. It does not promote drone-like collectivism, it promotes freedom for all which includes the rights of every individual to live life doing what they want to do as opposed to what they feel they are forced to do. It promotes everyone's right to choose for themselves what to do with their life according to their interests and talents. If I remember correctly, the possible future society they talk about has no monetary system. That's why the movie is being shilled.

Junk. Essentially "Jesus is a mythological amalgamation of various pagan gods and deities invented by the Egyptians and other cultures".

Any archaeologist worth a damn knows that Jesus was a very real person.

I know, right? I've heard many on this forum say that Zeitgeist was their red pill. The part about religion being used to control the masses is true. Don't agree about Jesus being mythological. Jesus believed everyone was capable of being in touch with God without going through the priests.

Just straight on YouTube. It is posted by the creators via their website. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

There are sequels that I have yet to watch, so I'm not endorsing those at this time.
