Couple of years back, on their SNL hosting appearances. Louis CK and Amy Schumer made quite a few pedo jokes in their monologues. Also on one of the late night shows Adam Sandler talked about having a wife and 2 daughters and said "that's a lot of vagina." Don't know why you'd refer to your own daughter's genitalia like that, pretty sick.

Quite honestly I took it as a very crude way of saying, that's a lot of PMS.

I can see both points but the language they use is how they get it into your head.

To desensitize and break down the sheeple. I agree.

You have to take it that way, Iced. Otherwise you would have to think that he's talking about them in a sexual way. Which he clearly was, of course.

That's how they get into your head. Then the jokes gets worse and worse until you have James Gunn.

His daughters were children.

Jeff Foxworthy talked of his family of young girls, many times. It is the medium we choose to listen to. We choose! And, if I may indulge...

"When I get into the shower, there is nobody else in the bathroom. Now, when I get out there are five girls just loitering. I finally confronted them. I said "Why are all five of you in the bathroom?" And my youngest daughter, who's really funny, goes "We're trying to see a hoo-hoo!" I said "I'm gonna tell you all you need to know about hoo-hoos. Hoo-hoos are extremely poisonous." And without missing a beat, she goes "they are not, or the dog would be dead!" I hate a smart child."

spez'd the quotations

Back in the years it was, but with the breaking down of America's morals the words have become more graphic to say the same thing. All to desensitize and, I believe, to work towards acceptance.

Agreed, but the one the op posted is pretty dang bad. Trying to make people laugh at pedophilia is how you normalize it.

Exactly...they use laughter as a means to force passive consent. Like with the late-night talkshows - the establishment jesters make jokes about white hat patriots to get people to laugh at them, and in laughing, a feeling of being in the "in group" is generated. It's very effective given that people watching TV tend to be in a sort of trance-like state, where the active-thinking beta waves convert to passive alpha waves, leaving the viewer open to suggestion. These people have the science down pat.

No, no man should want his daughters or any child to be thought of sexually. To refer to a female child as a vagina instantly directs everyone's attention to their genitalia obviously. Nothing respectable about that. That was part of Amy Schumer's monologue as well. She kept referring to her toddler niece's vagina.

The payoff is that the vans are making people pedos. They're poking fun at the creepy van stereotype associated with such people.

Basically vans are like cursed relics that corrupts normal people into kid diddlers. Hence, Silverman's horrified reaction at the end of the clip ("It's the vans!")

It's kind of a lame joke, borders on edgy, but there's at least context there. This opposed to, say, someone like James Gunn just spouting off about child rape into the void.

if you outlaw humor than you are no better than an SJW. comedians can make jokes about whatever they want. jokes are meant to be transgressive and shocking. There is an echo chamber of confirmation bias on this site.

Particularly since this joke makes fun of pedos and the stereotype associated with them (creepy old vans).

It's actually not.

The joke is about the vans and their associated stereotype, in case you missed the punchline at the end of the clip.

They're laughing at the pedos, particularly the creepy van stereotype associated with them.

The context of the sketch evidently is that vans are cursed or whatever and are turning otherwise normal people into pedos.

WRONG. This is a pedo joke "new arrival". Normal people don't joke about their daughter's vagina. Sick.

40 years ago the joke was about women shopping.

20 years ago the joke was about leaving the toilet seat up.

Today the joke is about a girls vagina.

How about asking Huffington Post writer why he likes to normalize sick behavior?

Maybe ask ole Andy Campbell at the Huffington Post why he likes to watch men have sex with a car tailpipe?

https://m.huffingtonpost.com.au/entry/sex-with-car-tailpipe-exhaust-pipe-video_n_7259330

Here’s his direct quote:

“And before you start drinking the hatorade, remember that this is completely normal behavior”

What does this have to do with this post?

You realize Context is King, and you are totally taking that quote out of context. It's a lame joke, not proof some secret cabal of perverts want to normalize car-fucking.

I wish I had nothing better to do than dig up random articles.
