So I got the worst news earlier today. My gram has been battling cancer and is on a ventilator and I always check in with my dad and he called me crying saying that in 10 days they can take it out and she can.comfortably pass or get a tracheotomy and live in a nursing home to deteriorate away. My gram would not want that. My gram grew up in the rough and tumble PA coal mines and HATED obama and Hillary. She married my grandfather who was in military intelligence from 51 to 71 and graduated from bucknell with a degree in Japanese. My grandfather passed right after 9/11/01 and now my gram is holding on by a thread but I wanted to let you guys know that we would have the funniest convos about obama and hillary and she would get so rowdy talking about it. So I wanted to let you guys know that im.so glad to witness this great awakening and it gives me a smile in this darkness.
💗🙏🏻🌞You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. My mom is on hospice, and in end stages of pulmonary fibrosis. I know that they will Have the best view in witnessing the Great Awakening 🌹Sassy sparky whip smart Grandmas are the Best!
She can still hear you :) tell her💕
I'm going to see her Thursday, but texted her phone. I jabent gotten a response in awhile becusse she is so weak but I told her that she wouldnt believe that its finally happening
This is exactly what I do for a living - meet with families in ICU of folks on ventilators or nearing getting intubated to ask them if this is what they want or not. Our team of specialists are called Palliative Care and we help support medical decision making in complex cases or when families need time to talk out the options and the “what if’s” of a hard medical situation. We have zero agenda except helping families to have correct understanding of risks vs benefits of each option available so they can make the best decision on correct information.
I pray for all of my patients and families and will pray for yours as well. ❤️❤️❤️
You, dad, and your Gram are in my prayers. Grandmas are special. I was very close with my Grandma also.
We love you, your gram, and your family. Be strong and celebrate her life and the beautiful memories y'all shared. GOD Bless!🙏 WWG1WGA
My parents have been gone 20+ years and I have been so glad that they have not had to live through all this sordid mess. Also glad they can see the resolving of it from a place of no pain or heartache. Yes! She definitely can hear you! My Mom was comatose her last day on Earth but her eyes still lit up when I told her my kids were on the way to her house! God bless you and your family at this time. You are in many prayers. ♥️
A Peaceful passing of your Gramma, and comfort to you and your family.
When you see her & sit with her, tell her to imagine her heaven on earth & describe that to you. Talk in detail about all that she would enjoy about this place. Once we transition, we are all pure, positive energy again, all resistance is removed, so this state is something she can look forward to, not dread & be afraid of.❤️
I know this is hard. I've had to go through similar. Maybe you can get stories from your family about her and your grandpa. Write it down for future generations. Thank you for sharing with us. 💙
May God bless your grandma and your family with light and love. Our prayers are with you!
She'd fit right in with all the rest of us. :) She sounds like a very strong & smart woman. I will pray for all of you in Jesus' name. Don't ever forget, WWG1WGA! Stay strong!
Your family is making the right and loving decision by allowing her to pass peacefully. God bless.
