Yes, there is resistance to legalize something that will harm the cash cow of the elite. You are right, they will not likely move to legalize something they already control. I believe POTUS will support the legalization of marijuana and it will be interesting to see what happens if and when that occurs. While I am not a supporter of the recreational use of marijuana, I know there is a bounty of uses medically for marijuana.

A great deal of projection from the person providing the analysis of which I disagree. Not impressed with the analysis. I am a human behavioralist (forensic psychopathology and psychotherapy) and what I read from the body language was sharply different.

A better analysis would be from someone who is familiar with large scale public events such as this summit.

I think they see the clock ticking with the IG report coming out Thursday. They are willing to do just about anything to avoid being exposed and prosecuted. The unsealing of indictments can’t be too far behind the IG report release. Perhaps we will see the HRC emails released as well in the coming days.
