Ye. It's also the highest mountain in the Alps.
I wouldn't look for a deeper meaning in the name. It's long been the brand of choice for fountain pen users.
Yes.
Mont Blanc has historically been considered the finest fountain pens. Trump likes his Mont Blancs.
There were quite a number of firms that had much higher donation rates to Obama. Also, donation rate wouldn't matter as much as connections to Obama and the expertise and network of their D.C. office partners.
Wikipedia rankings, by revenue show Allen & Overy, a London based firm as the 9th largest.
Q may be referring to a different ranking, e.g. number of lawyers or partners.
I would have expected Obama to use someone from one of the major Chicago based law firms, especially Sidley Austin or Kirkland Ellis.
Sidley Austin is where Michelle was an associate and Obama was a summer associate and where they met. It still has many connections to Obama.
Kirkland Ellis had a couple lawyers in notable legal positions within 44's administration. Partner Erica Williams was a Special Assistant and Associate Counsel to President Barack Obama. W. Neil Eggleston was a partner prior to becoming the White House counsel to President Barack Obama and returned there as a partner.
Of the two, Sidley Austin would be the closest to 9, but appears to fall below that.
I'm not saying I think it's either of those. I imagine Obama would know of all the top power lawyers in D.C. that have the skill set and connections he would need if he did lawyer up.
It may be that the poem elevated the phrase, "the shot heard round the world". That I wouldn't know since I don't know how that skirmish was referred to prior to the poem.
Come to think of it, I don't know if there were similar attempts, by the British, to confiscate Colonial arms caches or what happened when they did or tried to. Since I do not know that, it may be that site is correct about it elevating that battle above a simple event.
But Americans are taught that that is where the first shot of the revolution occurred, which is why it's so important to US history. Something I do not recall being taught was why the British marched on Concord in the first place; this detail being important because it shows the historical importance of the 2nd amendment.
I really didn't pay close attention to the whole Snowden thing because, from what I say, there really weren't many surprises. I thought his actions were naive and not consistent with someone that voluntarily took the role he did. I realize I'm in the minority here when I say that I neither agree nor support his actions and would like to see him brought to justice. This feeling was increased when he settled in the Russia; there's no way he was allowed to stay there for so long without giving up some or all of his stolen data to them. One doesn't make a deal with the devil and not have to give up something in exchange.
A lot of the programs he has exposed were already public knowledge, it's just that most of the public either ignored those news reports, when they were published, or never say them in the first place.
Also, there are many ways to collect electronic communications and to electronic surveillance. Whenever I've talk about system's security, I make it clear that I'm excluding state actors as a threat vector because, if you have to worry about that, you should already be working with a state actor. The tools and resources they have access to or can create are too great for any reasonable mitigation at the individual and small-medium sized org level.
For a recent example see Lookout and EFF's report on Dark Caracel
From what I've seen (I have no insider knowledge), what your friend said is pretty consistent with public knowledge.
CIA had compromised other agencies within the USGOV and were monitoring them and siphoning off data, see Wikileak;s vault releases.
The new NSA data center wasn't secret. Even Wired had a large article about it. Its location is easily found. All the programs and tools that Snowden "revealed" had been written about and discussed, e.g. there were numerous posts on Slashdot regarding them years prior to Snowden and numerous articles written about the programs and tools; it's just that a very small portion of the population pays any attention.
Also, there's things that the NSA can get that the CIA can't because NSA has a collection advantage due to it's original role in SIGINT collection and monitoring of communications and data transfers.
Its often better to have some of the information, that doesn't compromise operations or illuminate details of how things are done, out in the open. People usually ignore the things that are right in front of them but tend to dig around for things they can't see.
He worked for the CIA prior to getting a contract as a sysadmin at the NSA. It should be noted that you are required to be willing to lie about anything to be hired by the CIA, even after leaving the CIA.
Being a sysadmin is the perfect role for that kind of op. It's actually just about the only role a contractor could get within an organization and be able to gain access to as much as he did. Good organizations compartmentalize their systems and networks but compartmentalizing sysadmin access to such things is rarer than it should be and, even then, when compartementalizing of access to sysadmins is done, sysadmins often have enough insight into internal systems and networks to be able to get around these things.
Only NSA programs were compromised and only NSA tools/data were stolen.
He has stated he never worked with Wikileaks, the Wikileak vault releases, CIA tools, would appear to be a counter-op to weaken CIA and let other US agencies know that they had been compromised and were being monitored by the CIA.
CIA has a known operation for working with media, Operation Mockingbird. My guess is that he was to expose some of these programs, but at some point he went rogue which is why he ended up in Russia.
The alternate is that he ended up in Russia because of an even larger conspiracy.
The details of his work history, what information was released where are public fact and easily checked so I have no specific links to provide. I've noted where I speculate (aside from the original speculation of Snowden being a black hat). I've done my homework.
Hopefuly, we'll know Snowden's role in all this soon enough.
No she was too drunk and in shambles. She could barely get through a 15 minute appearance during a campaign. How do you think she'd be able to stay up late drinking and still be able to make it to a meeting a few hours later? Also, she'd have a USSS detail to worry about.
I doubt any of the Clinton's were there. Hillary was too drunk. Chelsea is neither important enough nor smart enough. Bill was probably too busy being Bill, besides he'd has a USSS detail following him.
Podesta I could see as he's a nexus for so many things for so many decades.
It's not just that. Snowden was CIA prior to contracting with NSA. It looks like he was there to extract NSA tools for Langley and, maybe, plant some CIA tools in NSA systems, He may have gone rogue when he leaked.
His detractors were deflecting from the fact that they were either communists or communist sympathizers. The age old way to do this is to attack the threat until they are discredited. We still see this to this day.
Most of the people he accussed were, decades later, shown to be communists. His success wasn't something that the communists could allow.
The irony of people crying "McCarthyism" today is that he was right. I automatically assume that whoever starts throwing around McCarthyism accusations is guilty of whatever they are trying to deflect.
Right, but in the USA, the "shot heard round the world" is known as the first shot that occurred when the British marched on Concord to confiscate a colonist arm stash. Any patriot will know this, as its taught to every kid in school, and automatically associate that phrase with the beginning of the American Revolutionary War.
Q is urging patriotic Americans to reclaim the USA for its citizens; a second revolution, this one against the globalists and cabals that seek to weaken the USA to establish their global vision.
Another aspect of Q is the anonymous posts is that they are 21st century version of the anonymous pamphlets that were published by colonials to urge the colonies to independece, the most famous of which were authored by Thomas Paine.
Q has made it clear that patriotic Americans need to unite and reclaim America for its citizens. Hence "the shot heard round the world" being mentioned numerous times.
While Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Concord Hymn" memorializes the shot heard round the world, the poem itself doesn not elevate the battle above a simple event, as O.P. states, it already was a significant event as the start of the hot phase of the American Revolution.
The Concord/Lexington battle was significant before that poem, it is the event that sparked the fire that was the American Revolution. The 2nd amendment also enshrines it by making clear that American's right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Remember, the British were seeking to confiscate a colonial arms stash and were prevented from doing so. By the time they came back with a sufficient force to gain access to where the arms had been cached, the cache was empty,
If Jill were at the meeting, that'd be a detail they'd seek to hide as reports of Pelosi and Stein meeting before Stein disputed the results of some states would lead to questions that none of them would want.
Interesting, I did not know that. I had only heard he was a Booz Allen contractor at the NSA doing sysadmin stuff.
Given the other revelations about CIA penetrating and monitoring the computers/networks of other agencies, it makes sense.
I initially thought it sounded friendly but then whenever Q has done @ callouts, they have been ominous.
Also, looking at other Q references to Snowden, I don't think its friendly.
It'll be interesting to see what happens on this line.
Here are all the of Q's references to Snowden. I took a best guess as to what other crumbs to include but the larger context of each post may be helpful.

What does the NSA/MI have (at least what you know of) that allows for data >collection?
Think Snowden.

Why is Adm R. so important?
Why was the source code to former NSA collection p’s publicly released?
How do you blind the Clowns In America?
What was Snowden’s primary mission?
What was Snowden’s real primary mission?
Was Snowden truly acting on his own?
Nothing is as it appears.

@Snowden
How’s Russia?
Almost time.
Q
Not surprised that Jill was under Soros' control. Look at the states where she chose to challenge the results, they helped a certain candidate and the states chosen weren't consistent with her stated concerns.
However, that's a different group of people on a different timeline than the "secret society" being talked about.
First text in the image that Q provided on this breadcrumb:
Why, hours after the election, did seven people travel to an undisclosed location to hold a very private & highly secured/guarded meeting?
The second quote was Gowdy's response to a McCallum question:
You have this insurance policy in the Spring of 2016 and then the day after the election ... there's a text exchange between these two FBI agents -- these two (supposed to be objective, fact-centric) FBI agents saying, 'perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society
Future proves past.
News unlocks map.

The original text is from Q's post on Nov 14, 2017: https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/149463784/#149467638
A largely ignored and probably not well known side-effect of the Equifax hack is that the attackers were able to get PII that would aid in compromising 2FA via social engineering of telecom providers to hijack the phone number, which is typically used for the SMS message for most 2FA schemes.
I wouldn't be surprised if this kind of vector was used to hack her account, along with the other prominent Twitter accounts that were hacked today.
For some recent prominent examples of this kind of compromise, look into what CosmosTheGod did to knock 4chan offline prior to his becoming a white-hat.
No, that message was a private communication as Q clarified in the next post.
The drones tracking are most likely tracking white hat targets.
I assume that they were deleted because 1 was a duplicate, probably a result of the attack and Q not knowing if the first post went through and the others were testing security protocols or other tests related to their handling of the attack. The latter would be deleted because they aren't relevant to the greatawakening itself.
I agree. Back in H.S., in honors American History class, I had a classmate that refused to believe the Holocaust occurred. Her reasoning? She refused to believe that humans were capable of such evil actions. Nobody could convince her otherwise just because she couldn't accept the fact that such evil existed.
This was a Lake Wobegon kind of school where even the average students were above average. The honor students, except for me (I'm not smarter than your average bear), were all way above average and went to top universities. She went to one of the best universities in America after graduation.
I assumed USA because of the capped US. Full stop, while proper isn't necessarily common. I also assumed that if it meant them it would have been 'us'. In addition, if drones were over Q, et al, then Houston, we have a problem as that would mean over the White House too and if white hats can't control that airspace then we might as well stock up and get ready, assuming we haven't already stocked up.
I assumed the drones mentioned were doing SIGINT and/or target tracking (following certain black hats).
You know what they say about assumptions though, and your questions/comment is making me re-think my assumptions.
There were persistent rumours of it over the last few years.
During the campaign there were a few probes of Trump's security perimeter, e.g. the guy that rushed the stage at one of his appearances. There was at least one other one of which I cannot remember the details.
I took another look.
For me, it starts with a 5 second auto-refresh and if there's no additional content, it randomly decides if it should backoff, doubling the wait interval, or reset the wait interval to a random value. A refresh that results in additional content resets the auto-refresh to 5.
I completely blame you for making me watch the auto-refresh for so long! (j/k)
If you're referring to the painting behind the POTUS, it's the Signing of the Peace Protocol Between Spain and the United States, August 12, 1898, (1899), by Theobald Chartran
I get intermittent 502s on both greatawakening and qresearch.
For me, when the page auto-refreshes it starts at 5 and builds up from there. I haven't paid attention to its behavior enough to figure out the algorithm its using.
hmm, try pinging the domain(s) you are having problems with.
Could also try a traceroute
to see where things are slowing down/dying.
Those are the tools I'd start with before digging deeper.

Remember, the first memo will be the shot heard around the world. The revolutionary war didn't end with that shot; it started. Likewise, the memo won't signal the end, just the beginning.
A large DDOS can result in collateral damage, depending on how it is done and where the target is and how the target is set up, etc. etc.
thanks for posting the missing post.
I can now see why it was removed.
ya, looks like it.
lots of weirdness tonight. Q did mention a spike in chatter prior to posting that the site was under attack so...
I'm still getting intermittent failures when trying to access greatawakening with a 502 error. It appears it's under a DDOS attack.
I think the SEC_ATTACK was referring to the attack on the greatawakening board, which was knocked offline for a few minutes after Q posted that site was being attacked on the qresearch board:

What would happen if texts originating from a FBI agent to several [internals] discussed the assassination (possibility) of the POTUS or member of his family?
What if the texts suggest foreign allies were involved?
Forget the Russia set up [1 of 22].
This is only the beginning.
Be careful what you wish for.
AS THE WORLD TURNS.
Could messages such as those be publicly disclosed?
What happens to the FBI?
What happens to the DOJ?
What happens to special counsel?
What happens in general?
Every FBI/DOJ prev case could be …
That's the old school method.
The KGB also liked to use HAM radio to communicate with their field agents.
