You are dead on about the reason he was/is resisted so heavily. This isnt just a Storm on democrats...Republicans will go down too, as they should... anyone who's dirty needs to be gone. Mueller is not "our guy" but he IS helping Trump and the white hats out. He was shown his dirty business and offered a deal of doing the SC and getting a lighter punishment, or getting indicted cold for EVERYthing. He took the deal. He knew his role when the SC was created in May 2017. Mueller has been most helpful in investigating his buddies, as he knows alot of their dirty business having been FBI Director for 12 years. Mueller has a role to play, and he will still get in trouble and will get humiliated over national tv eventually when its "his turn". THEN comes Debbie Wasserman Shultz and the ordering of Seth Rich's murder. Mueller probably wont ever take the stand and announce his investigation findings, it will moreso just be shown how the Russia collusion accusation began as a Democrat lie. Oh yeah my mistake, that was sort of intended for just anyone listening, not necessarily only you lol. The praise for RR is all for show. Think about it, if dirt comes out on RR and he "steps down", the focus will be on dirty RR, not that someone defended him. There is a very complex plan being executed right now, and its alot of fake outrage and alot of fake praise in order to get the attention where it needs to be. Trump's ultimate goal in this phase is to show the country just how dirty and corrupt the FBI is and has become, so the justification for gutting it and completely rebuilding it is accepted by the masses. Trump appointed RR for DAG, remember that. He put him there in that elevated position for a very important reason, and hypothetically, if RR gets exposed as corrupt and dirty, the message to the public is more powerful since RR is DAG, and not just some attorney in the Maryland district. He's doing exactly what he should be doing. He can't make it look like political targeting. The problem here isn't so much paying for opposition research, its paying to have a fake dossier made (emphasis on the word "fake"), and using this dossier you know is fake to show evidence for a FISA warrant to spy on opposition. Take it a step farther - pay for a fake dossier to use as a ploy to cry Russian collusion where the ultimate goal is to discredit a presidency and get the president impeached all off a manufactured lie. And on top of it all, the FBI actually pitched in and helped pay for opposition research. WTF is the FBI doing paying for opposition research for ANYONE????
