US attacks ‘Iranian-backed military infrastructure’ in Syria

DEVELOPING STORY

At least 17 pro-Iran fighters reported killed in strikes, which Pentagon says was in response to recent rocket attacks on US troops in Iraq.

The United States military says it carried out attacks on facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran-backed militia on Thursday, following recent rocket attacks on US troop locations in Iraq.

“At President Biden’s direction, US military forces earlier this evening conducted airstrikes against infrastructure utilized by Iranian-backed militant groups in eastern Syria,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby in a statement.

“These strikes were authorised in response to recent attacks against American and Coalition personnel in Iraq, and to ongoing threats to those personnel,” he said.

According to the Pentagon, US fighter jets dropped seven 500-lb Joint Direct Attack Munition-guided precision bombs, hitting seven targets, which includes a crossing used by the armed groups to move weapons across the border.

Kirby said the strikes destroyed multiple facilities at a border control point used by a number of Iranian-backed militant groups, including Kata’ib Hezbollah (KH) and Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada (KSS).

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said more than a dozen pro-Iran fighters were killed.

“The strikes destroyed three lorries carrying munitions… There were many casualties. Preliminary indications are that at least 17 fighters were killed, all members of Popular Mobilisation Forces,” SOHR director Rami Abdul Rahman, told AFP news agency.

The group said all the dead were from the Hashed al-Shaabi, an umbrella organisation that includes KH and KSS.

The United States move came after an attack nearly two weeks ago on the main military base inside the airport in Erbil, which killed one foreign civilian contractor and wounded at least nine others, including an American soldier. Foreign troops deployed as part of the US-led coalition that has helped Iraq fight the armed group ISIL (also known as ISIS) since 2014, are stationed at the site.

A shadowy group calling itself Awliya al-Dam – or the Guardians of the Blood – claimed responsibility for the attack and said it would continue to attack “occupation” American forces in Iraq.

‘Proportionate’

The Pentagon statement described the US military response as “proportionate”, co-ordinated with diplomatic measures and carried out in consultation with coalition partners.

“We have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to de-escalate the overall situation in both eastern Syria and Iraq,” it said.

Al Jazeera’s Shihab Rattansi, who is in Washington DC, said there was a clear effort to draw a distinction with Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump.

The Pentagon said US President Joe Biden approved the strikes on targets in eastern Syria [File: Alex Brandon/Pool via Reuters]

“Clearly they are trying to draw a comparison with the previous administration of Donald Trump who in response to attacks on coalition forces in Iraq used the most disproportionate force by killing the Iranian general (Qassem) Soleimani,” Rattansi said.

The Iraqi government is carrying out its own investigation into the February 15 attack in Erbil.

That attack was followed by another days later, on a base hosting US forces north of Baghdad. At least one contractor was hurt in that attack.

Rockets also hit Baghdad’s Green Zone on Monday which houses the US embassy and other diplomatic missions.

Some Western and Iraqi officials say the attacks, often claimed by little-known groups, are being carried out by militants with links to Kata’ib Hezbollah as a way for Iranian allies to harass US forces without being held accountable.

Trump’s erratic, impulsive actions are the last thing we need as Commander-in-Chief. No president should order a military strike without fully understanding the consequences. We don’t need another war in the Middle East, but Trump’s actions toward Iran only make that more likely.

1 we had Biden set up Bidon for the bad guy gotcha pincher move on the Deep State through what he is quoted to have said then, and is covering for the takeout of the Deep State NOW.. so his actions NOW contradict what he said then..

Make him out to be a hypocrite, that he cannot be trusted, President Trump is sitting back letting him take the heat for having to launch last attacks to take the bad guys out.

Chinese Whistleblower Releases Video and Photos of Counterfeit Ballot Printing Operations

Just when you thought you'd heard nearly all there is to hear regarding the election fraud, there's more.

Now, it's being reported that China was actually involved in the fraud going as far as printing out fake ballots.

The original report that comes directly from Taiwan reported the following:

As the US election was affected by the epidemic, more than 120 million blank ballots were mailed in advance. According to a source, an underground factory in Guangdong, China, which usually specializes in "forging invoices and falsifying accounts," has forged a large number of blank U.S. ballots since July with a monthly output of 500,000.

Judging from the screenshot of the conversation, the boss not only said, " We have the original model of this version, "We have ordered it before. " There is still a lot of this in inventory. And because the ballots are different in each state in the United States, the underground factory can provide the original model files of "Mississippi, Florida, North Carolina", and emphasize that this is provided by the "previous customer", and there are other states that can also be used for voting. , Not only these 3 states.

It is worth noting that the boss of the underground factory actually stated that the metal patterns and anti-counterfeiting of the real ballots cannot be forged yet, but previously unknown people have ordered a large number of them, and the boss also said, "The amount is not a problem, the main thing is your money. In place, that amount is not a problem."

I know that this is quite a claim, but what evidence do we actually have that something like this may have taken place? Well, how about video and photos?

Boeing 777 Makes Emergency Landing In Moscow Due To Engine Trouble

by Tyler Durden - Thursday, Feb 25, 2021 - 22:45

It really has not been a good year for Boeing. Or a good decade for that matter.

Just days after a Boeing-777 became the latest symbol of all that is wrong with the once almighty aircraft maker, when the plane's right engine exploded (with debris striking houses below it in a scene right out of Breaking Bad) and only a miracle prevented a tragedy, moments ago another Boeing-777 made an emergency landing in Russia's Sheremetyevo airport outside of Moscow, Interfax reports, adding that the plane crew requested the landing after one of left engine control channels failed.

The news service doesn’t name the airline operator; but said that the plane was flying from Hong Kong to Madrid. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

The latest mishap followed even more bad news for the aerospace giant, which earlier on Thursday agreed to pay $6.6 million to U.S. regulators as part of a settlement with the Federal Aviation Administration over the planemaker’s failure to comply with a 2015 safety agreement including quality and safety-oversight lapses going back years, a setback that comes as Boeing wrestles with repairs to flawed 787 Dreamliner jets that could dwarf the cost of the federal penalty.

As Reuters reported, Boeing is beginning painstaking repairs and forensic inspections to fix structural integrity flaws embedded deep inside at least 88 parked 787s built over the last year or so. The inspections and retrofits could take up to a month per plane and are likely to cost hundreds of millions - if not billions - of dollars, though it depends on the number of planes and defects involved.

The penalties include $5.4 million for not complying with the agreement in which Boeing pledged to change its internal processes to improve and prioritize regulatory compliance and $1.21 million to settle two pending FAA enforcement cases.

“The FAA is holding Boeing accountable by imposing additional penalties,” FAA Administrator Steve Dickson said in a statement.

But the biggest challenge facing Boeing is whether or not it can find passengers for its 737 MAX now that the infamous deadly airplane which was reportedly "designed by clowns…supervised by monkeys" is set to fly again. While the plane may indeed have gotten a green light from the FAA, a far bigger question is whether Boeing has by now lost the trust of the public for good.

this is totally intuition but i can't shake the feeling that Boeing was set up to fail. Absolutely no sauce on this but Boeing has always been the proponent for pilot-controlled aircraft, as opposed to automatied control (like Airbus). whole different philosophy - the latter is what we'd expect from DS-types. ("Human intell can't be trusted").

What has really happened to Boeing?

Was it just bad mgmt or did it get infiltrated and brought down?

HOLY FLIP-FLOP, BATMAN!

McConnell says he’d absolutely support Trump if he was 2024 nominee

Growing number of Republicans who have battled with Trump are conceding he’s a 2024 frontrunner.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell declared Thursday he would "absolutely" support former President Donald Trump if he became the GOP presidential nominee in 2024.

"Well there's a lot to happen between now and '24," McConnell said in an interview with Fox News’ Brett Bauer. "I've got at least four members that I think are planning to run for president plus some governors and others. There's no incumbent, a wide-open race and it should be fun for you all to cover."

When pressed if he’d support Trump, whom just weeks ago he accused of dereliction of duty and inciting the Capitol riot, if the 45th president was renominated in 2024, the Kentucky Republican didn’t hesitate.

“The nominee of the party? Absolutely,” McConnell answered.

McConnell has seen his popularity dip after criticizing Trump, and Republicans across the spectrum are coming to grips with the fact that Trump remains remarkably popular since leaving office.

Another intra-party nemesis, Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, conceded this week that Trump likely would win the nomination in 2024 if he ran again.

"I'm pretty sure he will win the nomination," Romney told The New York Times. "I look at the polls and the polls show that, among the names being floated as potential contenders in 2024, if you put President Trump in there among Republicans, he wins in a landslide."

Maricopa Co. Releases Junk Audit Reports – 12% Ballot Adjudication and Dominion Employee’s Use of Prohibited External Drive Omitted

2-25-21

Maricopa County in Arizona recently released reports by two vendors who conducted election audits in early February.

Witnesses working at the (MCTEC) Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center testified that 12% of all ballots were being sent to adjudication.

Numerous supervisors offered this data when struggling to assign this large amount of ballot files to adjudicators.

So one in eight ballots were being sent as a digital image to humans at computers. These adjudicators would review and could change the circles voters selected on these ballots. Changing a ballot is as easy as checking a box on a PDF form. But neither audit discloses this unusually high rate of adjudication or why it happened.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors provided both audit organizations a “test deck” of ballots. The audit by Pro V&V states they processed at least 1,549,703 ballot positions. If their test was truly replicating the election, then 186,000 of these ballots should have been sent to adjudication. But there’s no mention of this or any recurring scanner issues. Other than 2 ballot jams, their report simply says “Ballots were imported into RTR and adjudicated resulting in accurate numbers.” The reports are purposely void of any details. It should be noted the MCTEC center was staffed with anti-Trump zealots, just not as bad as the TCF center. These were the people adjudicating ballots.

I just printed out the Emergency Use Authorization and the Moderna Fact Sheet for a relative who got sick from the Moderna vaccine. She is not old necessarily but disabled - her parents passed away - not all people are elderly in assisted living. She is also deaf so has to read lips. She said she got really sick from the vaccine minutes after the shot and wanted to know why? They told her nothing about the vaccine being a study or that the risks are unknown. She didn't know it was not licensed. In her case she has comorbidity so she is mindful about her activities or diet. Not only that - no one did a follow up and or helped her and just left her in her room.

Under the Belmont Principals there is a distinction called "diminished autonomy". A medical professional must take extra care that a person understands exactly what they are participating in - just handing a Fact Sheet to a person who has limited vision is not acceptable, or verbally explaining to a person who is partially deaf is not acceptable.

The EUA and on the Fact Sheet for both Moderna and Pfizer state it is a study, risks are unknown and a recipient can opt out. The contradiction between what is written and what is happening is the question.

The Belmont Principals are based on the Nuremberg Code, the Nuremberg Code has set precedence since World War II. Anyone who has a medical degree knows this code. Nursing has been diluted because they have so many technicians or assistants that appear to be nurses but they are not. Who is actually administering the shots I wonder?

If this is what is happening - I have anecdotal evidence it is, it is a horrific crime with a scale unprecedented. This nurse in the post knows.

Three doctors after the Nuremberg trial were executed and the people working with them went to prison.

>Pro V&V states they processed….

Uh. About that Pro V&V. Same company that did the Georgia 'audit'. Go figgur.

A little dig about ProV&V. Popped up in 2011. NO "about us" or company leadership bios on their website. However Just The News did a dig on one of the owners by searching SEC records. Worth a full read, but here's a snip:

A 2011 Securities and Exchange Commission filing for the company lists Ryan Jackson Cobb as its president that year. There is a Facebook page for an individual named Jack Cobb who appears to be the same person — that man is listed as the laboratory director at Pro V&V, and his Facebook URL identifies him as “Ryan Cobb.” A LinkedIn page for what appears to be the same individual also identifies him as having worked at Wyle Laboratories until 2011.

Wyle Laboratories, also based in Huntsville (and currently operating under the name NTS Huntsville) performed testing on Dominion software several times in the past, per EAC records. Alhough that testing appears to have occurred after Cobb’s departure from Wyle, Cobb’s signature is on at least one “certification test plan” from Wyle prepared for Dominion.

After multiple queries from Just the News, Cobb responded on Saturday night but had not replied to a subsequent list of questions as of press time Sunday morning. Just the News is seeking to learn the extent of Pro V&V’s relationship with Dominion, including how much the testing company had been paid by Dominion as well as what Cobb’s relationship with Dominion was while at Wyle Laboratories.

The Carnage Continues: ARK Funds See More Than $400 Million In Outflows Thursday

The carnage continued for Cathie Wood's ARK Invest funds on Thursday as the NASDAQ failed to do what it is supposed to, which is go up every day fueled by Fed cash with no rhyme, reason or mind paid to the fundamentals of its components.

The firm's flagship ARKK fund saw over $200 million in outflows, breaking with a trend it had been setting in the 18 months prior of continued, seemingly endless, inflows.

Between five of ARK's ETFs, Wood saw outflows of $443 million on the day.

All five funds see outflows. Total $443mm. $ARKK $ARKG $ARKW $ARKF $ARKQ pic.twitter.com/xDc8qGQDEq

— TC (@TESLAcharts) February 26, 2021

Additionally, Jesse Felder noted yesterday on Twitter that more people now, than ever, were either lining up specifically to bet against Wood, or using her funds as a levered ShitCo-specific vessel for positioning short the index itself. After all, what speculative names go up, must come down.

'The number of put options outstanding on the ARK Innovation exchange-traded fund — which would pay off if the ETF’s price declines — has hit a high of 368,000 contracts.' https://t.co/lAIbzUIeAP pic.twitter.com/6FyDEOkvin

— Jesse Felder (@jessefelder) February 25, 2021

Doubts about Wood's stock picking acumen seem to be growing. Short bets against ARK continue to rise - a trend we first pointed out that had started weeks ago. It appears as though due to Wood's recent positioning - which we noted two days ago included selling out of well known liquid names and piling into some speculative tech small caps - that liquidity could be an issue.

@ARKInvest is facing daily fund outflows of 1.4% of their AUM this week. They're trimming all positions as this happens.

ARK's most illiquid positions are shitco's, listed here by the number of days it would take ARK to exit, based on avg daily volume. ur welcome. $TSLAQ pic.twitter.com/srg7OHkb36

— Motorhead (@BradMunchen) February 26, 2021

This is likely what the above put buyers are betting on. As we noted this week, one thing Wood hasn't had to deal with over the last 18 months during her meteoric rise has been a serious sell off in Tesla. And, over the last few sessions, Tesla - one of the main driving forces behind Wood's investing "genius" - has continued to look shaky while, at the same time, Bitcoin - another asset with numerous ties to Wood's portfolio and positions - is almost 30% off its recent highs.

We noted several weeks ago that short interest in ARK funds had "exploded" after ARK's banner 2020. Short interest as a percentage of shares outstanding for the firm's flagship $21 billion ARK Innovation ETF spiked to an all time high of 1.9% from just 0.3% two months ago, according to data from IHS Markit Ltd. and Bloomberg. That number now stands at nearly 3.5%, as evidenced in the chart above.

We were one of the first to highlight how the law of large numbers could eventually stand in the way of Cathie Wood's success.

London could lose out to New York under draft EU finance deal: document

The City of London’s finance industry would be worse off than rival New York under an early draft for a cooperation agreement in financial services between Britain and the European Union, a document, seen by Reuters, showed. Britain’s financial services industry has been largely cut off from the EU, its biggest customer, since a Brexit transition period ended on Dec. 31 as the sector is not covered by the UK-EU trade deal.

Trading in EU shares and derivatives, for example, has already left Britain for continental Europe. Both sides are committed to agreeing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by the end of March on regular, informal talks about financial rules and market supervision.

An early draft of this document, seen by Reuters, has less substance than a deal the EU agreed with the United States in 2016, industry officials said. Brussels can grant direct market access for foreign financial companies if it deems their home market rules are as robust as the EU’s own standards, a system known as “equivalence.”

A person familiar with Britain’s negotiating position said the UK focus is on making sure the MoU provides transparency and appropriate dialogue when it comes to adopting, suspending and withdrawing equivalence decisions.

Currently, the EU can in theory scrap equivalence decisions with just 30 days’ notice.

Under the U.S. deal with the EU, equivalence is treated as “outcomes-based”.

Britain has called for EU equivalence also to be outcomes based, which would ensure that the focus would be on whether financial rules in Britain and the EU produce the same result. But there is no mention of outcomes-based equivalence in the draft EU-UK memorandum.

The EU text is deliberately more unambitious that the U.S. agreement and does not reflect even the current depth of relationship with bilateral MoUs already signed between individual regulators in Britain and the EU, one financial sector source said.

The moves reflected easing tensions between the U.S. company and the Australian government, a day after the country’s parliament passed a law forcing it and Alphabet Inc’s Google to pay local media companies for using content on their platforms.

The new law makes Australia the first nation where a government arbitrator can set the price Facebook and Google pay domestic media to show their content if private negotiations fail. Canada and other countries have shown interest in replicating Australia’s reforms.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador told the United States not to meddle in domestic energy policy on Friday, ahead of a meeting between his government and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The online meetings, dubbed a “virtual visit” by Washington, will touch on Lopez Obrador’s energy strategy in the context of climate change, along with trade and security, as the government of U.S. President Joe Biden broadens its predecessor’s single focus on migration between the neighbors.

Lopez Obrador, an energy nationalist who has sought to renegotiate electricity and pipeline contracts with U.S. and Canadian companies, faced little pressure from former U.S. President Donald Trump over his policies.

Mexico relies heavily on fuel imported from the United States. A new bill in Congress that aims to reshape Mexico’s electricity industry to favor state utility CFE has caused alarm among lobbies for private investment.

In seeking to use more domestic fuel, Lopez Obrador has also limited the growth of foreign renewable energy operators in a move critics say affects Mexico’s climate emission obligations.

Warren Buffett Backers Can Rest Easy With 90-Year-Old Getting Vaccine

Warren Buffett, the 90-year-old chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has received his Covid-19 vaccination.

As shareholders prepare for the release of his closely watched annual letter Saturday, Buffett’s assistant confirmed that the investor has had both of the Pfizer Inc. shots. The vaccination has a two-dose regimen.

Berkshire has two nonagenarians as its most senior leaders, with Buffett turning 90 last year and his longtime business partner Charlie Munger turning 97 in January. Munger has said he expects that the pandemic will start shrinking to insignificance over the year as more vaccines are distributed.

Gold Is Getting Monkey-Hammered!

When will people stop selling gold and silver and realize that rising inflation is not a one-time threat that the Fed will stomp out by raising rates and tightening monetary policy? Peter Schiff explains:

"They [The Fed] are going to do nothing. The dollar is going to collapse, which is the mother of all tailwinds for gold. And so, at some point, it’s going to happen. But in the meantime, they’re simply creating more buying opportunities for people who have been really slow to pull the trigger on getting their precious metals, getting their mining stocks.”

In effect, Powell this week was telling the market, “Don’t worry, we won’t be tightening monetary policy for years.” This despite the fact that the commodity markets are screaming inflation. Oil, industrial metals, grains, beans – they are all making big gains. The only thing that’s not catching a bid is gold.

"For some reason, people are still thinking that rising interest rates are bad for gold and silver, but they’re bullish for everything else. But the reality is — they’re not. They’re more bullish for gold and silver than any of these other commodities… In fact, here is the reality that nobody wants to acknowledge: as interest rates are moving up, rather than raising rates and reducing the size of its QE program, it is going to increase the size of its QE program.”

ECB's Stournaras calls for increasing bond buying to calm markets

Greece’s Yannis Stournaras became the first European Central Bank policymaker on Friday to openly call for increasing the pace of ECB bond purchases to stem a rise in borrowing costs. With euro zone bond yields set for their biggest monthly rise in three years, the ECB is under some pressure to make good on its promise to keep borrowing costs easy for the coronavirus-stricken bloc through its Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme (PEPP).

“In my view, there is an unwarranted tightening of bond yields, so it would perhaps be desirable for the ECB to accelerate the pace of PEPP purchases to ensure favourable financing conditions during the pandemic,” Stournaras told Reuters in an interview. “In my view there’s no fundamental justification for a tightening of nominal bond yields in the long end,” the Greek central bank governor said.

Stournaras said ECB policymakers should instruct the Executive Board, which runs day-to-day business including bond purchases, to intervene accordingly when they meet on March 11. He added that they may also alter the ECB’s policy message “slightly”, although he said no material change was needed as the central bank still had almost 1 trillion euros left to spend in its PEPP arsenal.

Germany’s 10-year bond yield, the region’s benchmark, fell to its lowest for the day at -0.287% after Stournaras’ comments. It was still set for its biggest monthly gain since January 2018, however, with a 24 basis point rise. “This is a big shift from the message we have been used to and it remains to be seen whether other ECB members share the same view,” said Divyang Shah, global strategist at IFR Markets.

Earlier on Friday, ECB board members Philip Lane and Isabel Schnabel had said bond yields warranted monitoring but stopped short of calling for more purchases.

Memes and all content you create will be tracked. Will Woke

Microsoft, Intel, and Adobe are teaming up to destroy online privacy by tracking every single piece of digital content you create

The software giant has teamed with several other companies, including Intel and Adobe, to form the "Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity," or C2PA

What this jargon means is software and hardware that will trace every picture, document, photoshop, meme, post, or audio file back to its original source device, effectively tracing it back to its owner.

Pause and think about this for a moment. Say that you write a Word document criticizing LGBT gender theory or Critical Race Theory. If such a thing becomes a crime, law enforcement would be able to access the digital footprint of said file as created by this C2PA initiative, to track it back to the computer it was written on.

More than that, they'd have another copy of said footprint that would be provided by Intel, which makes the lion's share of the CPU chips around the world. Even if your computer was offline, said CPU could theoretically track every keystroke, every file you open, and every unauthorized meme, storing all that information so it could be digitally traced back to the device you used. Even if you never connected to the internet and stored all your files on a flash drive to upload them on another machine, they could still track where it came from.

Do you use Word or Excel? Do you use Photoshop or InDesign? Welp, better hope you don't create anything that offends the Woke, or it's off to the gulag for you, pal!

There's a reason Breitbart called this plan "Big Tech's most dangerous plan yet."

Boy how far we've come from Microsoft's days of cheering on developers.

Let's turn to C2PA's predecessor for a bit more context. Said predecessor was an initiative called Project Origin that was heavily supported by media outlets like the New York Times and the BBC (which are threatened by outlets that oppose their narratives).

Stopping "misinformation" (read: wrong-think) was the goal of said project:

Gee, I don't really know what to say about this. There seems to me only two responses that I can do. The first is to abandon all tech so that I never type, create, save, forward or post anything that could in the future be deemed offensive or criminal. The second is to continue what I'm already doing and plan the destruction of C2PA and all those promoting it.

Virgin Galactic delays space tourism liftoff

Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. announced Thursday that it has postponed test flights for its rocket-powered spaceflight program for two months in order to address technical issues, further delaying its promise of commercial flights. The space tourism venture, founded by Richard Branson, told investors in an earnings call that its second and third test flights will be pushed until at least May after the company effectively addresses the technical issues stemming from its Dec. 12 flight. The last attempt in December was cut short when computer trouble prevented the spaceship’s rocket from firing properly. Instead of soaring toward space, the ship and its two pilots were forced to make an immediate landing by gliding back down to the runway at the desert outpost in southern New Mexico.

On Thursday, the company said it's confident that the issue was "likely caused by electromagnetic interference or EMI." Virgin will now delay its February launch "to mitigate it further" before future flights, Mike Moses, Virgin Galatic president of space missions and safety, told investors. Virgin Galactic has reached space twice before — the first time from California in December 2018. In June, Virgin Galactic marked its second successful glide flight over Spaceport America.

The company has yet to announce a firm date for its first commercial flight.

NEWS: The Biden administration is sanctioning Saudi Arabia’s ex-deputy intel chief but NOT the crown prince, after releasing a long-secret intel report concluding MBS approved Khashoggi’s murder. Lawmakers are already pushing for a more aggressive response

Intel report finds Saudi prince approved Khashoggi murder

The White House is expected to follow with additional sanctions on Riyadh.

The Biden administration on Friday released a long-secret intelligence report concluding that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had approved the killing of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

"We assess that Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman approved an operation in Istanbul, Turkey to capture or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi," the report reads.

The report was finally released more than a year after it was first completed by the intelligence community under former President Donald Trump and briefed to the relevant congressional committees, officials said on Thursday.

“We’ve made it clear that this administration will not sweep anything under the rug, and that President Biden will follow the law,” a senior administration official said ahead of the report’s release. The official added that the release was “in honor of Jamal and this horrific crime.”

“Our aim going forward is to make sure nothing like this ever happens again,” the official said.

We've temporarily limited some of your account features

These days, this is not much of an event but… it finally happened to us here at Blacklisted News. We have been put in Twitter time out for being a bad user. We may be back, but it's not trending in a good direction at the moment.

The only thing shocking about this, is that it did not happen sooner.

This event spurred me to pen some personal thoughts on Social Media itself and the peoples fight against the silicon valley controllers.

Unlike many that have been banned from one social media platform or the other, we are not going to ask you to boycott Twitter. We will continue to use the social media platform to distribute Blacklisted News as long as they allow it. When we are permanently banned for some random post, deemed to dangerous for their users, it is time to say goodbye. When enough people say goodbye for one reason or another, the Twitters of the world vanish. Think it can't happen? Perhaps you are too young to remember AOL chat rooms or MySpace.

Mark Meadows says Trump is ‘planning for the next administration’

https://nypost.com/2021/02/26/mark-meadows-says-trump-planning-for-the-next-administration/

Former President Donald Trump is working on how his “America First” agenda will move forward, his former chief of staff revealed, adding that they are “planning for the next administration.”

Speaking to Fox News‘ “Hannity” Thursday evening, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows made the remarks after being asked about the ex-president’s big return to the national stage this weekend at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

“Well you’re going to see a speech on Sunday that talks about not only the beginning, but what the future may look like, and I’m excited about it,” the former House Freedom Caucus chairman told the network.

“I spoke to President Trump last night for a fairly lengthy conversation where [we] we’re talking about America, where it needs to go, continuing the America first agenda,” Meadows continued, “But more importantly than that, how this President — Biden — has undermined that particular policy within days. And we see it.”

“I may not have Twitter or the Oval Office, but I’m still in charge,” will be Trump’s message to the group.

Speaking to Axios, senior Trump adviser Jason Miller said the former president plans to remain a force in the Republican party.

“Trump effectively is the Republican Party. The only chasm is between Beltway insiders and grassroots Republicans around the country. When you attack President Trump, you’re attacking the Republican grassroots,” he said.

Trump is also expected take aim at the 10 House Republicans who voted to convict him in his impeachment trial and the seven GOP Senators who voted with Democrats to convict him.

A poll released over the weekend shows that 46 percent of Republican voters said they would leave the party if Trump decides to create his own.

Merkel says vaccine passport has unanimous support within EU

Angela Merkel says "everyone agreed" that vaccination documents are needed, and the requirement could be implemented by summer.

erman Chancellor Angela Merkel says European leaders agree on the concept of a COVID vaccination passport that would allow people to travel more freely through the region amid the ongoing pandemic and continuing health-safety restrictions.

"Everyone agreed that we need a digital vaccination certificate," Merkel said Wednesday after a meeting with European leaders.

She also said such a travel vaccination-certificate could be implemented by as early as summer but that such a program "does not mean that only those who have a vaccination passport are allowed to travel,” according to the German broadcaster DW.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel says European leaders agree on the concept of a COVID vaccination passport that would allow people to travel more freely through the region amid the ongoing pandemic and continuing health-safety restrictions.

Israel recently implemented a "Green Pass" system used to track vaccination history of those traveling, attending concerts and going to the gym. And the E.U. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen praised the new requirement.

Von der Leyen said the commission is working to create a “gateway for interoperability between nations." amid concerns about discrimination in such a program.

France has expressed concerns over the lack of evidence of the vaccinations preventing the spread and transmission of the virus.

Meanwhile, only 8 percent of the E.U. population has been vaccinated, while former E.U. member Britain has been able to vaccinate about 30% of its population, amid ever-changing supplies.

Southern European countries such as Greece, Italy and Spain have been pushing for the implementation of a travel pass.

Maricopa County judge finds GOP Senate subpoenas of election materials are 'legal and enforceable

The Superior Court of Maricopa County, Arizona, found that the state's Senate Republicans' subpoenas of election materials and equipment are "legal and enforceable."

"The Court finds that Subpoenas are legal and enforceable. There is no question that the Senators have the power to issue legislative subpoenas," Judge Timothy Thomason said Friday in a readout following a Thursday hearing on the issue.

"The Subpoenas comply with the statutory requirements for legislative subpoenas. The Senate also has broad constitutional power to oversee elections," the court's conclusion added.

The GOP-backed county board requested Thomason to nullify the subpoena issued by the Senate. They argued that the ballots are sealed under laws the Legislature passed and the Senate does not have a right to access them, claiming it would be illegal.

"The Arizona legislature clearly has the power to investigate and examine election reform matters. Accordingly, the Senators have the power to subpoena material as part of an inquiry into election reform measures," the judge said in his review.

The Senate's subpoenas did not violate the separation of powers principle, and subpoenaed materials would not violate confidentiality laws, Thomason added.

"Indeed, if that were the case, it would be illegal for any County official to 'see' any ballot after it was prepared for voting. It is apparent that the word 'person,' as used in this statute, does not refer to government officials," Thomason said.

Arizona state Senate President Karen Fann announced in December 2020 that two subpoenas were served to the county's election board.

One subpoena calls for a scanned ballot audit in order to collect an electronic ballot image cast for all mail-in ballots counted in the county's November 2020 general election. The second subpoena calls for a full forensic audit of ballot tabulation equipment, the software for that equipment, and the election management system used in the 2020 general election.

County board supervisors already have provided much of what the subpoenas requested, from voter data to election logs, but not the ballots or access to the machines.

The results of the county's independent audit released Tuesday found that the votes were counted correctly, the machines worked properly, and the machines were not hacked or connected to the internet during the election.

The Senate wants another audit of ballots and a check of voter information, while the county has contended that its multiple audits have been sufficient and said the ballots must remain sealed under state law.

The court's decision does not consider whether to enforce the subpoenas, but whether the subpoenas are legal and can be enforced.

Senate leaders have said they are unsatisfied with the county's audits, including the latest audit performed this month by two independent firms that inspected the county's voting machines.

I think it's the plan to confuse the bots so they have to split their forces to take down qr. All the different breads are a feint while the real bread does a double envelopment surrounding and destroying the bots while being distracted by the multiple breads.
