Interest in QAnon has ballooned since the beginning of the pandemic and related economic shutdowns when, suddenly, many people had nowhere to go but the Internet. Between March and July membership in ten large QAnon Facebook groups grew by nearly 600 percent. During the same time period, according to a Pew survey, the number of Americans who had heard or read “a lot or a little” about QAnon doubled from 23 percent to 47 percent; 41 percent of Republicans who had heard about QAnon said they thought it was “somewhat” or “very good” for the country. According to another recent poll, a majority of Republicans believe the conspiracy theory about “deep state elites” is at least partly true.

Swedish Professor: Integration of 2015 Migrants into Labour Force Has Been a Failure

Swedish economics professor Johan Eklund has criticised the government’s failure to integrate migrants who arrived in 2015 into the labour force.

A total of 163,000 migrants came to Sweden during the height of the migrant crisis in 2015, and of those granted asylum, around 60,000 were given permanent residency. But despite efforts, just over half of those aged 20 to 64 with residence rights had worked at all in 2019.

Around 11,900 migrants were said to be on local welfare programmes in 2019 while 10,000 benefitted from parental allowance and 8,700 received student aid money, newspaper Helsingborgs Dagblad reports.

“I am not prepared to point the finger in any direction about whose failure it is. But as an economist, I react to the fact that there are thousands of individuals of working age who have no income whatsoever,” said Johan Eklund, a professor at Blekinge Institute of Technology.

“This is a burden to society. The dependency on grants is a socio-economic cost. There is also the question of what happens to individuals who do not participate in society?” he added.

Even among the 35,400 or so migrants who had worked in 2019, many did not earn high salaries, making an average of just 100,000 Swedish kronor (£8,840/$11,440) for the year, with women earning just 52,000 kronor (£4,600/$5,950) on average.

A study authored by Professor Eklund showed that of the migrants who came to Sweden between 1990 and 2016, only half managed to become self-sufficient and not require government benefits after 12 to 13 years of living in the country.

While Swedish politicians have pushed for more refugees, asylum seekers, and other migrants to fill needed jobs, Sweden has had great difficulties integrating new arrivals into the workforce with the unemployment rate for foreigners remaining far higher than that of native Swedes.

One reason for higher unemployment among migrants, other than the language barrier, has been a lack of education. A Swedish Public Employment Office report earlier this month revealed nearly half of the foreigners without work registered with them had no high school education.

HARRISBURG — A new lawsuit, filed Thursday, is challenging Pennsylvania’s court-ordered deadline to count mail-in ballots that are received up to three days after the Nov. 3 election in the presidential battleground state.

Plaintiffs include a Republican congressional candidate and four registered voters from Somerset County.

The lawsuit comes 12 days before the election and three days after the U.S. Supreme Court, divided 4-4, rejected a Republican plea making a similar argument.

Both sought to block a state Supreme Court ruling that required county election officials to receive and count mailed-in ballots that arrive up until Nov. 6, even if they don’t have a clear postmark, as long as there is not proof it was mailed after the polls closed.

Thursday's lawsuit argues that the deadline extension is unfair to in-person voters and violated the court's authority by exercising a power that is constitutionally vested in Congress and the state Legislature.

With about 2.9 million mail-in ballots requested, registered Democrats have requested about 1.1 million more mail-in ballots than Republicans, or 1.8 million to 700,000, according to state data.

The Democratic majority on the state’s high court had cited warnings that postal service delays could invalidate huge numbers of ballots and surging demand for mail-in ballots during the coronavirus pandemic to invoke the power, used previously by the state’s courts, to extend election deadlines during a disaster emergency.

Britain’s Home Office has taken to social media to brag that the country “resettles more refugees than any other country in Europe” as it fails to stop illegal Channel crossings or organise deportations at scale.

Faced with growing public anger as the British authorities have failed for months on end now to prevent record levels of illegal sea crossings, the Home Office has pledged reform many times, and plans including using the Royal Navy to turn back boats and processing migrants on Ascension Island in the South Atlantic or on offshore ferries have been leaked.

In terms of actions actually undertaken, however, the Home Office has had little to point to besides a record number of migrants being housed at taxpayer expense in well-appointed hotels — some of them highly dangerous — and, more recently, in large, open camps on army bases, allegedly established with little or no reference to local or regional authorities.

What the Home Office have chosen to trumpet instead, curiously, is their record on taking in even more migrants through refugee resettlement, boasting that they have brought more people to the country this way than any other country in Europe.

In a short information video shared on social media, the Home Office brags that “The UK resettles more refugees than any other country in Europe”.

A bar graph shows the United Kingdom with a slide lead on France, a larger country and significantly less densely-populated country, and Sweden — which, in fairness, may still be able to claim that it is shouldering a greater burden pound-for-pound, given it has a population of only around 10 million.

Bringing up the rear behind Britain, France, and Sweden, interestingly, comes Angela Merkel’s Germany — the largest country and economy in Western Europe, as well as the country which did more than any other to ignite the 2015 migrant crisis which continues to unsettle the continent and its politics to this day.

Brexit Talks Back on Less than Week After Boris Told UK to Prepare for Clean Break

Negotiations between the UK and EU recommenced on Thursday less than one week after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced talks had been a failure and told the nation to prepare for a no-deal, clean-break Brexit.

On Friday, the prime minister’s office had gone as far as telling Brussels’ chief negotiator Michel Barnier not to bother coming to London this week to continue trade talks, after Johnson’s deadline of October 15th came and went without significant progress towards signing a free trade agreement. The UK said that negotiations could only recommence if there was a substantial change to Brussels’ position.

For months, the EU has expected the UK to be the only partner in talks to compromise, with the bloc insisting on continued access to Britain’s fishing waters and agreement to anti-competition rules.

There appeared to be movement on the EU’s side, however, when Mr Barnier told the European Parliament on Wednesday: “We will seek the necessary compromises on both sides. In order to do our utmost to reach an agreement, we will do so right up until the last day that it’s possible to do so.”

“We want a deal that will be mutually beneficial to both parties in respect of the autonomy and sovereignty of both sides. A deal reflecting a balanced compromise.

“An agreement is within reach.”

The UK’s negotiator Lord David Frost said in response that “a basis for negotiations with the EU and Michel Barnier has been re-established”.

A British source told The Telegraph that Barnier’s comments represented a “significant change” in the bloc’s position, saying it was possible that a deal could be struck in “two to three weeks”.

France, which benefits significantly from access to Britain’s lucrative territorial fishing waters, remains a likely barrier to an FTA that would ensure the UK regains full sovereignty. A senior French official suggested that he believed that Boris Johnson was bluffing about a no deal, telling The Guardian that “if the UK would really not care about having a new deal, it would have left the table long ago, frankly,” adding that as a result, “I don’t think we should be too afraid of UK tactics”.

The UK government has continued preparing the groundwork for a no deal, having signed a temporary continuation of trade deal with Norway in case the UK leaves the EU’s institutions at the end of the transition period on January 1st, 2021, without an FTA. While not a member of the European Union, Norway belongs to the European Economic Area and therefore the EU’s Single Market.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has predicted that there will be a deal based on a compromise –the French will “give a little on fishing” and Britain will “promise to keep broadly but not directly aligned to EU state aid rules” — but warned any new EU treaty based on the Withdrawal Agreement would come back to “haunt” the UK.

Cybersecurity company finds hacker selling info on 186 million U.S. voters

The cybersecurity company Trustwave said the hacker was offering 186 million U.S. voter records and 245 million records of other personal data.

WASHINGTON — A cybersecurity company says it has found a hacker selling personally identifying information of more than 200 million Americans, including the voter registration data of 186 million.

The revelation underscored how vulnerable Americans are to email targeting by criminals and foreign adversaries, even as U.S. officials announced that Iran and Russia had obtained voter registration data and email addresses with an eye toward interfering in the 2020 election.

Much of the data identified by Trustwave, a global cybersecurity company, is publicly available, and almost all of it is the kind that is regularly bought and sold by legitimate businesses. But the fact that so many names, email addresses, phone numbers and voter registration records were found for sale in bulk on the so-called dark web underscores how easily criminals and foreign adversaries can deploy it as the FBI said Iran has done recently, by sending emails designed to intimidate voters.

"An enormous amount of data about U.S. citizens is available to cyber criminals" and foreign adversaries, said Ziv Mador, vice president of security research at Trustwave, which found the material.

A Missouri City man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography after popular file storage and sharing website Dropbox.com reported images allegedly associated with his account.

The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office arrested Larry Savoy, 28, following a tip from Dropbox, Inc. According to Savoy’s arrest warrant, on May 12, Dropbox, Inc. reported to the National Center for the Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline that one of their users uploaded 2,272 photos and videos of sex crimes against children

The District Attorney’s Office traced the user information to Savoy, and the IP address from his computer matched that of Savoy’s.

Among the files reported by Dropbox, Inc. is a two-minute video depicting the sexual assault of a child between the ages of 1 and 2, the warrant said.

The video is a “hash match” to a file from Savoy’s IP address, the District Attorney’s Office said. A hash match designation indicates that the uploaded file matches the value of an uploaded file reported to the NCMEC like a digital fingerprint.

Maxwell.”

Moscow Salvages START Nuke Control Extension by Accepting Additional Terms

Russia has proposed granting the United States its request for a mutual nuclear warhead freeze if Washington agrees to Moscow’s calls to extend their last nuclear arms treaty for at least one year without further preconditions.

After a week of wrangling through public statements with U.S. officials, the Russian Foreign Ministry released a surprise statement Tuesday clarifying its position on the ongoing efforts to renew the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START). The statement appeared to offer the same freeze previously dismissed as “unacceptable” by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov as talks entered the 11th hour before the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

“Russia has proposed extending the New START for one year and is ready to assume a political obligation together with the United States to freeze the sides’ existing arsenals of nuclear warheads during this period,” the statement said.

Such a position was contingent on the U.S. agreeing not to impose any additional conditions, which have so far limited progress on negotiations.

“Our proposal can only and exclusively be implemented on the understanding that the United States will not advance any additional conditions with regard to freezing the arsenals,” the statement added. “If this suits Washington, the time gained through the extension of the New START could be used to hold comprehensive bilateral talks on the future of nuclear missile control, with the mandatory discussion of all factors that can influence strategic stability.”

The remarks followed Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s proposal Friday to extend the treaty without conditions for one year, a message that the Russian Foreign Ministry Ministry complained Monday had only been answered through social media.

White House national security adviser Robert O’Brien had replied at the time that the agreement was a “non-starter” because it did not include “freezing nuclear warheads.”

Shortly after Monday’s Russian Foreign Ministry statement, however, State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus issued a formal response.

“We appreciate the Russian Federation’s willingness to make progress on the issue of nuclear arms control,” Ortagus said. “The United States is prepared to meet immediately to finalize a verifiable agreement. We expect Russia to empower its diplomats to do the same.”

Both the U.S. and Russia have highlighted the importance of regulating their strategic arsenals but have expressed differing views on how to prevent New START’s scheduled expiration on February 4.

Ukraine Is Becoming Logistical Hub For Turkish Weapon Supplies To Azerbaijan

The cargo plane of the Azerbaijani airline Silk Way West Airlines Boeing 747 announced that it will fly from Kiev to Milan, but ‘somehow’ appeared at the airport in Azerbaijan’s Baku, according to the flight path tracked by the Flightradar24 website.

Such an ‘accident’ and the state of secrecy surrounding it led to a reasonable concern that in fact the plane was transporting weapons or military and dual-use goods from Ukraine to Azerbaijan, which is de-facto in the state of war with Armenia. Right now, Azerbaijani troops are clashing with the Armenians in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Furthermore, earlier, Silk Way West Airlines was repeatedly spotted as a part of weapons-trading network that delivers various weapons and ammunition to conflict zones in the Greater Middle East. Later, such weapons often appear in the hands of terrorist groups.

Military sources emphasize that the activity of transportations along the Kiev-Baku route has significantly increased after the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the defense sphere between Ukraine and Turkey. Turkey is a key ally of Azerbaijan, which supplies its with weapons and publicly supports Baku in its war with Armenia.

Ukraine, which has already bored all its ‘Western partners’ and achieved little real progress on its path to the so-called European integration (if one does not count the selling of national interests and economy to foreign actors), has been experiencing the rapid increase of the Turkish influence in the country. Ankara is actively exploiting the situation in Ukraine in order to achieve its own tactical and strategic goals. Just a few months ago, the pro-Western government of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, was considering Ukraine as a ‘natural ally’ because it was also led by the pro-Western government that gained power after the coup. However, the reality appeared to be quite different and Armenia’s friends sold it immediately.

If the Turkish influence in Ukraine continues to increase and this situation develops and further, the Kiev regime will have all chances to not only be a useful puppet of the Washington establishment but also become an outpost of the Turkish expansion in eastern Ukraine. The Kiev regime already supports actions of Turkish-affiliated structures in the region and seeks to demonstrate that it has no ideological differences with Ankara. The Ukrainian President vows to develop ‘strategic partnership’ with Turkey. The so-called ‘independent’ Orthodox Church of Ukraine did not even condemn the Turkish decision to turn Hagia Sophia into a mosque. Instead of this, contributes all possible efforts to fight the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate). It seems that if it is needed to turn Kiev Pechersk Lavra (historic Orthodox Christian monastery in Kiev) into a mosque to get a discount for some Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones, the current Kiev regime will immediately start considering such an option.

Manufactured Pandemic: Testing People for Any Strain of a Coronavirus, Not Specifically for COVID-19

I work in the healthcare field. Here’s the problem, we are testing people for any strain of a Coronavirus. Not specifically for COVID-19. There are no reliable tests for a specific COVID-19 virus. There are no reliable agencies or media outlets for reporting numbers of actual COVID-19 virus cases. This needs to be addressed first and foremost. Every action and reaction to COVID-19 is based on totally flawed data and we simply can not make accurate assessments.

This is why you’re hearing that most people with COVID-19 are showing nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. That’s because most Coronavirus strains are nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. The few actual novel Coronavirus cases do have some worse respiratory responses, but still have a very promising recovery rate, especially for those without prior issues.

The ‘gold standard’ in testing for COVID-19 is laboratory isolated/purified coronavirus particles free from any contaminants and particles that look like viruses but are not, that have been proven to be the cause of the syndrome known as COVID-19 and obtained by using proper viral isolation methods and controls (not the PCR that is currently being used or Serology /antibody tests which do not detect virus as such). PCR basically takes a sample of your cells and amplifies any DNA to look for ‘viral sequences’, i.e. bits of non-human DNA that seem to match parts of a known viral genome.

The problem is the test is known not to work.

It uses ‘amplification’ which means taking a very very tiny amount of DNA and growing it exponentially until it can be analyzed. Obviously any minute contaminations in the sample will also be amplified leading to potentially gross errors of discovery.

Additionally, it’s only looking for partial viral sequences, not whole genomes, so identifying a single pathogen is next to impossible even if you ignore the other issues.

The Mickey Mouse test kits being sent out to hospitals, at best, tell analysts you have some viral DNA in your cells. Which most of us do, most of the time. It may tell you the viral sequence is related to a specific type of virus – say the huge family of coronavirus. But that’s all. The idea these kits can isolate a specific virus like COVID-19 is nonsense.

And that’s not even getting into the other issue – viral load.

If you remember the PCR works by amplifying minute amounts of DNA. It therefore is useless at telling you how much virus you may have. And that’s the only question that really matters when it comes to diagnosing illness. Everyone will have a few virus kicking round in their system at any time, and most will not cause illness because their quantities are too small. For a virus to sicken you you need a lot of it, a massive amount of it. But PCR does not test viral load and therefore can’t determine if it is present in sufficient quantities to sicken you.

If you feel sick and get a PCR test any random virus DNA might be identified even if they aren’t at all involved in your sickness which leads to false diagnosis.

And coronavirus are incredibly common. A large percentage of the world human population will have covi DNA in them in small quantities even if they are perfectly well or sick with some other pathogen.

Do you see where this is going yet? If you want to create a totally false panic about a totally false pandemic – pick a coronavirus.

FBI Confirms Had Hunter Laptop Since December, Fails To Say Why They Didn't Mention That Before Impeachment

The left-leaning mainstream media continues to ignore one of the biggest scandals in modern American history with regard to the explosive information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop, but it’ll soon be near impossible to ignore, as the FBI finally came forward and admitted that the laptop is in its custody.

According to Fox News, the FBI refused to say whether or not that there are any active investigations concerning the content that the laptop’s hard drive contains, but did reveal that they’ve had the laptop since as early as December 2019, as Daily Mail reported.

On one hand, it was the right move for the FBI to admit that they’ve had the laptop in their possession, but making matters much more complicated and perhaps opening up an entirely new scandal is a question that’s being raised all around the country: Why didn’t the FBI tell the American public about this laptop before President Donald Trump’s impeachment hearings?

The data that’s reportedly contained on the computer tells the real story about who was involved with Ukrainian business deals and it most certainly wasn’t President Trump.

I’m not a legal analyst, but I don’t believe one needs a degree in law to deduce that the impeachment inquiry into Trump would have been squashed the moment that the FBI would have released even a shred of data from the laptop. It would have completely redirected the focus and the narrative, essentially overnight.

Remember, the Democrat-led U.S. House officially approved articles of impeachment against the president on December 18, 2019. One has to seriously question why the FBI, at the time, didn’t say “hey, wait a minute, we found something here that could be important!”

Adding to that, one must also question whether or not the FBI is complicit in the cover-up that we’re witnessing in real time with regard to Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings, which are plainly spelled out in numerous emails found on the laptop.

Why hasn’t the FBI provided the legitimacy in this ongoing scandal that would have immediately forced the mainstream media to actually cover it instead of writing it off as “Russian disinformation?”

The way it’s looking now, there are a lot of additional questions to be answered on top of just the damaging data contained on the laptop’s hard drive. We could be looking at a cover-up job the likes of which this country has never seen before, seriously.

Putin: Russia-China military alliance can't be ruled out

MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin says there is no need for a Russia-China military alliance now, but noted it could be forged in the future.

Putin's statement signaled deepening ties between Moscow and Beijing amid growing tensions in their relations with the United States. The Russian leader also made a strong call for extending the last remaining arms control pact between Moscow and Washington.

Asked during a video conference with international foreign policy experts Thursday if a military union between Moscow and Beijing was possible, Putin replied that “we don't need it, but, theoretically, it’s quite possible to imagine it.”

Russia and China have hailed their “strategic partnership,” but so far rejected any talk about the possibility of their forming a military alliance.

Putin pointed to the war games that the armed forces of China and Russia held as a signal of the countries' burgeoning military cooperation.

O'Brien again says troop numbers will be down around 2,500 by early 2021

At a press conference on Wednesday,NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenbergwas asked about President Trump’s recent Tweet that said all US troops would be home from Afghanistan by Christmas. Stoltenberg dismissed the idea of an imminent US withdrawal and said all NATO allies would withdraw from Afghanistan together when “the time is right,” reiterating comments he made earlier this month.

“In Afghanistan, NATO has around 12,000 troops in the Alliance’s biggest mission,” Stoltenberg said. “As part of the peace process, we have adjusted our presence. Any further adjustments remain conditions-based.”

When asked how NATO would stay the course in Afghanistan if the US withdrew by Christmas, Stoltenberg said, “All NATO allies have decided and reiterated again and again that our presence in Afghanistan is conditions-based.” The NATO chief said any “further adjustment of the NATO presence in Afghanistan” would be based on assessing the Taliban’s commitment to the US-Taliban peace deal signed in Doha.

“We will make a decision together, coordinate our efforts, based on the principle: in together, adjust together, and when the time is right, when the conditions are met, then we will leave together. But not before,” Stoltenberg said.

The US is currently in the process of drawing down troops in Afghanistan to around 4,500, which is expected to be completed by the November presidential election. The US-Taliban peace deal calls for the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Afghanistan by Spring 2021.

An Ohio sheriff says he will help celebrities who want to leave the country if President Donald Trump is elected to a second term in November.

What are the details?

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones — a self-described Trump supporter — said Monday that he will help any celebrities out who plan on leaving the country if they don't get the electoral result that they want.

In a viral video, Jones says that he will donate money to celebrities for their airfare.

"Hell, I'll even help them pack," he adds.

He adds that those celebrities threatening to leave are "mostly" the same people who are anti-cop.

"These are mostly the same people who don't like police, that doesn't like first responders. I hope you do leave," he says. "Maybe you can make a better life there in that country."

A press release from the department preceded the video and said, "Sheriff Richard K. Jones states it's that time of election year again. Celebrities threatening to leave the United States if the President is re-elected. This happened in 2016 and it is believed not one celebrity left then and it appears the same threats are being made this election year."

The sheriff isn't wrong: musician Bruce Springsteen just last week threatened to leave the country if he didn't get what he wanted come November. In a statement, the New Jersey-famous artist said, "If Trump is re-elected — which he will not be; I'm predicting right now he's gonna lose — if by some happenstance he should be, I'll see you on the next plane."
