(a) Whoever knowingly provides or obtains the labor or services of a person by any one of, or by any combination of, the following means—

(1) by means of force, threats of force, physical restraint, or threats of physical restraint to that person or another person;

(2) by means of serious harm or threats of serious harm to that person or another person;

(3) by means of the abuse or threatened abuse of law or legal process; or

(4) by means of any scheme, plan, or pattern intended to cause the person to believe that, if that person did not perform such labor or services, that person or another person would suffer serious harm or physical restraint,

shall be punished as provided under subsection (d).

(b) Whoever knowingly benefits, financially or by receiving anything of value, from participation in a venture which has engaged in the providing or obtaining of labor or services by any of the means described in subsection (a), knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that the venture has engaged in the providing or obtaining of labor or services by any of such means, shall be punished as provided in subsection (d).

(c) In this section:

(1) The term “abuse or threatened abuse of law or legal process” means the use or threatened use of a law or legal process, whether administrative, civil, or criminal, in any manner or for any purpose for which the law was not designed, in order to exert pressure on another person to cause that person to take some action or refrain from taking some action.

(2) The term “serious harm” means any harm, whether physical or nonphysical, including psychological, financial, or reputational harm, that is sufficiently serious, under all the surrounding circumstances, to compel a reasonable person of the same background and in the same circumstances to perform or to continue performing labor or services in order to avoid incurring that harm.

(d) Whoever violates this section shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If death results from a violation of this section, or if the violation includes kidnaping, an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, the defendant shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for any term of years or life, or both.

(b) Whoever obstructs, attempts to obstruct, or in any way interferes with or prevents the enforcement of this section, shall be subject to the penalties described in subsection (a).

Yes, those 'glitches' are from the same software that made Venezuela's elections so free and fair

That Venezuela smell was back in U.S. election news when the press reported that a voting machine 'glitch' flipped some 6,000 votes cast for President Trump to Joe Biden in Michigan.

Hadn't we heard that story before? Flipped votes in computer systems? The last time we heard about that was in Venezuela's 2004 fraud-plagued recall referendum on then-President Hugo Chavez. Millions and millions of Venezuelans marched in the streets against him , and then when the recall referendum was held, it failed hugely, something that seemed very strange given the size of the crowds. That was the fiasco that official election observer Jimmy Carter praised so highly as free and fair "despite what went on in the totalization room" according to the Carter Center report. After that, computer scientists from Amherst, Stanford, U.C. Santa Cruz, Johns Hopkins, and Harvard all found evidence of vote flipping statistically speaking. Besides their conclusions that it was a statistical impossibility, a well-known pollster, Penn, Schoen & Berland, taking exit polls at the same referendum found that 60% were in favor of throwing Chavez out, and 40% favored keeping him. Much to his surprise, the scorecard came out in almost the exact reverse, 58-42. Flipped.

 

And there are machines that flip votes. It's one reason why many, such as Instapundit's Glenn Reynolds, thinks only a return to paper ballots and in-person voting will restore confidence in flawed electoral systems.

According to this fascinating thread of apparently conservative coders and engineers, the sense is that the fraud wasn't directly written into the code, which would have been easy to detect. More likely, it was embedded into the compiler, deep into the back-end of the computer program. They wrote:

I think it’s unlikely to be hidden in a human-readable language like Java, C, Perl, C++, etc. almost anybody could read that and point it out. And guess what: They're using the same technology as Smartmatic, the mysterious Venezuelan company that blew in from nowhere with a gargantuan contract to count the Venezuelan votes, starting with that flawed recall referendum. In fact, the companies, via the intermediary subsidiary Sequoia, used to be the same. According to Wikipedia:

 

After losing money for several years, on March 8, 2005, Sequoia was acquired by Smartmatic, a multi-national technology company which had developed advanced election systems, voting machines included. Thereafter Smartmatic assigned a major portion of its development and managerial teams, dedicated to revamping some of Sequoia's old-fashioned, legacy voting machines, and replacing their technology with avant-garde proprietary features and developments, which resulted in new, high-tech products. As a result, Sequoia sold many new-generation election products and experienced a healthy financial resurrection during the fiscal years of 2006 and 2007. However, in November 2007, following a verdict by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), Smartmatic was ordered to sell Sequoia, which it did to its Sequoia managers having U.S. citizenship.[11]

  1. Alaska, where Trump has led by 2:1 all week and is now more than half counted will likely throw its 3 votes to Trump giving him 217.

 

  1. Trump has likewise led in North Carolina (15 votes) all week and his margin of 75,000 has not diminished. He will undoubtedly carry North Carolina. Like Alaska, the media will not call it for Trump to promote the illusion of a Biden victory…

 

…North Carolina would bring Trump’s vote to 232.

 

  1. The vote count in Arizona shows Trump’s deficit shrinking from 30,000 on Friday to 18,500 on Saturday with about 100K left to count. After Arizona (11 votes)…

 

…is fully counted, it will go through a recount subject to the pro-Trump bias identified in point 2. If he were to win Arizona, he would have 243 votes.

 

  1. In Georgia (16 votes), Biden leads by only 8400 votes, a margin that has been dropping.

 

…Like Arizona, Trump may still win the count and, if not, would have a very good chance of prevailing in the recount. With Georgia, Trump would have 259 votes.

 

  1. Wisconsin (10 votes) is tallied as having been won by Biden by 21,000 votes but a recanvass is in the offing…

 

..Given the facts enumerated in point 2, there is a very good chance Trump will carry Wisconsin. The recount process in Wisconsin is uniquely fair and transparent – a model for the nation – so Trump may well flip the state. If he does, he will have 269 votes — one shy of victory.

 

  1. Stay with me folks. This is the grind. It comes down Pennsylvania and 20 votes. The SC provisionally allowed ballots to be counted if they arrived before Friday, November 6 and were postmarked before election day, November 3rd and ordered late votes to be segregated.

 

  1. When Justice Alito was informed that the state had not segregated the late votes, as required in the Court’s decision, Alito reaffirmed the necessity of enforcing the court order.

 

Biden currently leads by 37,000 votes in Pennsylvania.

 

  1. The number of late arriving ballots likely far exceeds this total (the state has not published this information). Justice Alito and a Court majority may throw out the late ballots, likely delivering the state to Trump.

 

  1. In addition, for the reasons stated above, a recanvass is likely to give Trump a decisive advantage. If he wins Pennsylvania, he will have 289 votes and a victory.

 

Will there be a recount in Pennsylvania?

 

  1. The current law requires one if the margin is under 0;.5% and in Pennsylvania it likely will be slightly greater.

 

There are two ways to trigger a recount…

 

First, the Supreme Court could order one after the vote counters so flagrantly violated Alito’s order to segregate the votes that he had to re-issue it. And remember, four Justices wanted to reconsider whether to allow late ballots entirely but the Court deadlocked 4-4.

 

Now with Justice Barrett in the mix it may take a different view, particularly iff the presidency hangs in the balance.

 

Second, Article II Section 1 of the US Constitution reads:

 

“Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct…

 

…a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress.”

 

  1. The Pennsylvania Legislature, solidly in Republican hands (both houses) may choose to demand a recount before appointing electors.

 

  1. To build the case for doing so, it may hold hearings into the allegations of fraud so as to help the voters of the state understand how flagrantly their votes were mishandled.

 

  1. Already, the leader of the State Senate in Pennsylvania and the Speaker of the State Assembly have held a press conference announcing their intention to “audit” the vote counting process.

Alex Trebek Dead at 80

 

Alex Trebek the revered and beloved "Jeopardy!" host since 1984, whose calm but witty presence was must-see television for millions of Americans has died … TMZ has learned. A "Jeopardy!" spokesperson tells TMZ, "Jeopardy is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends." The TV icon had been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer since announcing the news back in March 2019. He immediately started chemo after the diagnosis but made no plans to retire and continued hosting his game show … as impressively as ever.

 

Trebek powered through for a full year despite what he called "massive attacks of great depression that made me wonder if it was really worth fighting on" because he said he realized giving up on life would be a betrayal to his wife, God and other cancer patients. He pointed out the odds of surviving a second year with pancreatic cancer were just 7 percent, but he hoped he'd be able to celebrate that milestone too. Sadly, he took a turn for the worse. Alex continued to host "Jeopardy!" … recently beginning his 37th season, and earlier this year, he shot the epic 'Greatest of All Time' tournament on prime-time television. Ken Jennings, who won that 'G.O.A.T.' tournament reacted to Alex's passing, saying, "Alex wasn't just the best ever at what he did. He was also a lovely and deep decent man, and I'm grateful for every minute I got to spend with him." Ken's competitor James Holzhauer added, "It was one of the great privileges of my life to spend time with this courageous man while he fought the battle of his life. You will never be replaced in our hearts, Alex." The shows executive producer, Mike Richards, says, "Working beside him for the past year and a half as he heroically continued to host "Jeopardy!" was an incredible honor. His belief in the importance of the show and his willingness to push himself to perform at the highest level was the most inspiring demonstration of courage I have ever seen."

 

After his initial diagnosis, there were several ups and downs for Alex. In May 2019, he announced his tumors had shrunk more than 50 percent, obviously a great sign of progress, but his numbers declined and he began another round of chemotherapy a few months later. Still, he maintained a positive outlook … and did a lot of good throughout his ordeal. His soothing and reassuring voice was on display when he announced having cancer. Trebek who was signed to host the show through 2022 joked, "Truth told, I have to! Because under the terms of my contract, I have to host 'Jeopardy!' for three more years!" His commitment to the game show was a two-way street. When Alex took a brief medical leave in 2018 to have surgery for blood clots on his brain after a nasty fall, "Jeopardy!" never aired episodes with a guest host. He also suffered mild heart attacks in 2007 and 2012. Alex started his career on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1961 announcing the news, and quickly gained fame after hosting the high school quiz show, "Reach for the Top." He introduced himself to U.S. audiences in 1973 when he hosted a new NBC show called "The Wizard of Odds." That would lead to work on a variety of game shows … including "High Rollers" with his trademark curly hair and classic 'stache and a brief fill-in stint for Chuck Woolery on "Wheel of Fortune." Then, when the "Jeopardy!" gig a revival of the old show came up, Alex got the call. The show gained immense popularity with Alex at the helm … dominating the evening game show biz along with 'Wheel.' Alex winner of 6 Daytime Emmy Awards for outstanding game show host set a Guinness World record in June 2014 for most episodes (6,829) of a game show hosted. Despite his unprecedented and hugely successful run, Alex never viewed himself as a celeb or the "star" of the show. He said as much to Harvey Levin for an episode on "Objectified." Alex also told Levin he was seriously considering retirement before signing a contract extension. He seemed serious at the time … naming 2 potential replacements: L.A. Kings announcer Alex Faust and CNN legal analyst Laura Coates. Important to note … "Jeopardy!" producers say they are not announcing a new host right now.

A reported glitch in the software of Dominion Voting Systems equipment saw 6,000 votes switched from Republican to Democrat in Antrim County, Michigan on Tuesday. The county clerk caught the issue and it has reportedly been corrected. Similar glitches with the software were reported in Georgia.

 

“The county clerk [Sheryl Guy] came forward and said tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes,” Michigan GOP chair Laura Cox said. “Antrim County had to hand-count all of the ballots. And all these counties that use this software need to closely examine their results for similar discrepancies.”

 

The Denver-based company’s Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5 software was used in 69 counties in Michigan on Tuesday.

 

Dominion Voting Systems Inc. is one of three voting equipment vendors which control 88 percent of the U.S. market.

 

Dominion Voting Systems software is also used in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, Nevada, Minnesota and in Maricopa County, Arizona.

 

Dominion Voting Systems has ties to prominent Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

'I'd Be Honored': James Woods Responds to AOC After She Suggests Compiling List of Trump Supporters

 

In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Hollywood began the process of “blacklisting,” denying work to entertainment professionals who were alleged to have been members of or sympathizers with the Communist Party.

 

In retrospect, this is viewed almost exclusively as an ugly episode in American history, even though there was a belief — probably untrue in most cases, but still reasonable given the dangerous geopolitical circumstances of the time — they were smuggling pro-communist messages into their work.

 

Whatever the case may have been, a large number of these people were actually communists in sympathy with the Soviet Union — a sympathy that necessarily entailed the destruction of American democracy.

 

This is glossed over when we talk about the blacklist. But, yes, these individuals had First Amendment freedom of association, no matter how misinformed and pernicious that association might have been.

 

Fast forward roughly 70 years and the left has decided blacklists mightn’t be the worst idea.

 

Not for them, of course. In fact, one of the loudest voices in the post-election call to have supporters of President Donald Trump blacklisted was Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, a self-described socialist.

 

The irony is always lost on her:

 

“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” she wrote in a Friday tweet.

 

Yes, I can see it now. The House Cancelation Committee, chaired by Ocasio-Cortez: “Do you now or have you ever owned a MAGA hat?”

 

Not only is this counterproductive, it’s also not terribly frightening to many she’s potentially targeting.

 

Just ask conservative actor and commentator James Woods:

 

“Are you literally making lists?” Woods wrote. “I understand you’re an ignorant nitwit who’s never had a passing acquaintance with a history book, but political lists are EXACTLY what Communists do: Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Castro. So put me at the top of your list, you moron. I’d be honored.”

While Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) did not reveal the nature of the issue with the ballots, he did announce late Saturday that investigators were headed to State Farm Arena in Fulton County to “secure the vote and protect all legal votes.”

 

“Fulton County has discovered an issue involving reporting from their work on Friday. Officials are at State Farm Arena to rescan their work from Friday,” Raffensperger said. “The Secretary of State has a monitor onsite, has sent additional investigators, and dispatched the Deputy Secretary of State as well to oversee the process to make sure to thoroughly secure the vote and protect all legal votes. Observers from both political parties are there as well.”

 

Brendan Keefe, chief investigator at Atlanta’s WXIA, says that the issue “may significantly affect the current Biden lead in Georgia.”

Fulton County issued a statement later on Saturday, in which they disclosed that “some ballots were not captured” in Friday night’s vote and “a smaller number” of ballots were “not scanned.”

 

“Out of an abundance of caution, all provisional, military, and [Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act] ballots scanned on Friday, November 6 will be rescanned tonight,” the statement read. “The upload made last night will be pulled and replaced with tonight’s rescanned file.”

 

Fulton County Election Director Richard Barron, described the issue as a failure to transfer files to a server, necessitating the rescanning of some ballots. He also said the rescanning process was complete.

 

“Barron said his team rescanned 342 ballots on Saturday ‘so that we balanced out,’ adding that previously some files did not transfer to a server and some ballots had to be scanned on Saturday. He said he did not know if a software issue or physical was to blame.”

 

Roughly 7,200 votes separate Biden and Trump in Georgia, a narrow margin which prompted Raffensperger on Friday to declare that the state was headed for a recount.

Will there be a recount in Pennsylvania?

 

  1. The current law requires one if the margin is under 0;.5% and in Pennsylvania it likely will be slightly greater.

 

There are two ways to trigger a recount…

 

First, the Supreme Court could order one after the vote counters so flagrantly violated Alito’s order to segregate the votes that he had to re-issue it. And remember, four Justices wanted to reconsider whether to allow late ballots entirely but the Court deadlocked 4-4.

 

Now with Justice Barrett in the mix it may take a different view, particularly iff the presidency hangs in the balance.

 

Second, Article II Section 1 of the US Constitution reads:

 

“Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct…

 

…a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress.”

 

  1. The Pennsylvania Legislature, solidly in Republican hands (both houses) may choose to demand a recount before appointing electors.

 

  1. To build the case for doing so, it may hold hearings into the allegations of fraud so as to help the voters of the state understand how flagrantly their votes were mishandled.

 

  1. Already, the leader of the State Senate in Pennsylvania and the Speaker of the State Assembly have held a press conference announcing their intention to “audit” the vote counting process.

Folks, Wisconsin's problems were not limited to Milwaukee County. This is from an email from the La Crosse County and 3rd Congressional District GOP chair. He has a bad habit of not fighting, nor digging for the truth. Since 3rd District includes Eau Claire County, I would not be surprised if the same issues occurred there. Auditing/recounting in Wisconsin needs to encompass the ENTIRE STATE, and needs to involve ALL the races up and down the ballot!

The long knives were out for Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine.

 

Her Democratic challenger Sara Gideon had determined to beat the last New England Republican in Congress by tying President Donald Trump around her neck like an anvil. That was to be expected.

 

But also The Lincoln Project — a group of onetime Republican operatives who oppose Trump — joined Democrats in targeting Collins.

 

The group said it wanted to save the Republican Party, but then it went after the GOP’s finest. Fueled in part with big money from Democratic megadonors, they labeled Collins — who didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 and was named the most bipartisan U.S. senator by the Lugar Center in 2017 — a “Trump stooge” and charged she let Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell control “her voice.”

 

Before Nov. 3, every poll used in the RealClearPolitics polling average showed Collins trailing Gideon.

 

Like so many 2020 contests, the polls got her race completely wrong. Collins garnered 51.1 percent of the vote to Gideon’s 42.3 percent — majority support that kept her lead from being spoiled by Maine’s ranked-choice voting scheme.

 

Rejoice. All the low-rent attacks against Collins failed. It is especially gratifying to see the swells at The Lincoln Project, who styled themselves as the brains of the GOP, tank so spectacularly. And for nothing … well, except all the money they raked in and their star treatment on MSNBC, which they would never get working for solid Republicans.

 

The project’s stock and trade were troll-like videos posted on Twitter. The day before the election, Steve Schmidt, who masterminded Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, tweeted a video that showed Trump dancing on a sinking ship and ended with video of Collins, McConnell and GOP Sens. Joni Ernst of Iowa and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, sinking into the drink. “I love this with all my heart and soul,” he crowed.

 

Note: All four Republican senators whom they consigned to a watery grave won re-election.

 

When Trump tweets tasteless videos of their opponents dying, critics rightly are appalled. Yet somehow anti-Trumpers think it is clever when they do the same thing.

 

Lincoln Project boosters often boasted that the group had been living rent-free inside Trump’s head, clearly missing the obvious fact that they had turned into Trump — not only with their teenage-boy videos but also with their lashing out at people who in any rational universe would be allies.

 

Trump often has done the same. Last month he tweeted against Collins for not voting for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett and other offenses. (In this case, I suspect Trump shrewdly was trying to help Collins with her Democratic constituents.)

 

A week ahead of the election, Axios reported that The Lincoln Project was in talks to branch out with a nonfiction film, a “House of Cards”-type fictional series and other prestigious projects.

 

And these guys who think they are so smart and superior couldn’t even beat Collins.

 

Collins’ finest moment came in October 2018 before she voted to confirm now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who had been smeared with wholly unconfirmed decades-old allegations of sexual misconduct. Weaker minds turned on Kavanaugh and dispensed with notions of due process because they hated Trump. Withstanding scary threats and unrelenting harassment, she stood strong and focused on what was important.

 

“We must always remember that it is when passions are most inflamed that fairness is most in jeopardy,” Collins said. “The presumption of innocence is relevant to the advise and consent function when an accusation departs from a nominee’s otherwise exemplary record. I worry that departing from this presumption could a lead to a lack of public faith in the judiciary and would be hugely damaging to the confirmation process moving forward.”

GOP Veteran of Bush-Gore Battle: Dem Strategy Is to Let Courts Pick Election Winners

 

One of the top lawyers in Bush v. Gore says the onslaught of lawsuits filed by Democrats this election year is a “nationwide coordinated effort” to attack state laws that “guard against voter fraud.” And, he says, their goal is to let lawyers and courts — not voters — pick the election winners. Jim Bopp developed the legal rationale the Bush team used to argue and win its case before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2000. Today, he’s watching as Democrats, led by their election lawyer Marc Elias, have filed more than 400 election-related lawsuits in this cycle. Elias, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign attorney, is the founder of Democracy Docket, which describes itself as “the leading platform for progressive advocacy and information about voting rights, elections, redistricting and democracy.” It’s behind dozens of lawsuits across the US that pressured states to change their voting rules as the November election approached. The final step in the Democrats’ process, Bopp says, was to drive the election into the courts. “The lawsuits leading up were preparing the way by striking down as many anti-fraud protections as possible and radically expanding the number of mail-in ballots either through universal mail-in balloting or expanding absentee and then creating opportunities afterward for litigation that throws the determination of the results into the hands of election officials, lawyers and ultimately courts,” Bopp told InsideSources.

 

The Trump campaign filed suit to stop what it says is an illegal vote-counting process in Michigan and Pennsylvania until the campaign could be granted “meaningful access” to observe the opening and tallying of mail-in and absentee ballots. They also filed suit in Georgia, asking that state laws be followed in the processing of absentee ballots. Suits filed by Democrats in Pennsylvania had succeeded in striking down laws requiring mail-in and absentee ballots be received by election day and requiring a visible postmark, to prove they were mailed by Election Day. “What this does is provides for opportunities for people to game the system,” says Bopp. “They get to find out how many votes they need. And then, they have three or four days to get people or dummy up ballots, make sure they’re mailed so they won’t have a date stamp.” Bopp says Democrats were pushing for pre-paid envelopes for ballots, not because they think their supporters can’t afford a 50-cent stamp, but because pre-paid envelopes aren’t marked with a date stamp and therefore can be mailed after the election and still be counted. “Of course the Republicans have filed suits,” he says. “But they’re all defensive. What Republicans are doing are trying to defend legislative laws that have been enacted, that the Democrats are trying to change, or have changed.”

 

Other suits around the country have challenged laws requiring witness signatures, or requiring signatures on ballots to match signatures on file with elections offices. Others have forced counties to put up unattended drop boxes and open additional voting locations. In Philadelphia, public schools were turned into early voting centers, where people could walk in, request a mail-in ballot, fill it out on site, and turn it in immediately. Democrats also fought, successfully, to prevent Republicans from posting poll watchers in these locations. The first suits were filed by Democrats in 2018, in the run-up to the presidential election. “They were just practicing, and developing legal theories and things like that,” says Jim Bopp. “They also filed some suits this year prior to the primaries, and there were probably 40 or 50 of those… But you know they didn’t care about the primaries. They were practicing and developing their legal theories but also trying to knock down some key provisions or paving the way for universal mail-in balloting. “They had some success in that, but the big payoff was going to be this general election, and that’s why there’s over 400 cases.”

 

In Pennsylvania, the suits wiped away most state election laws and ballots and are now being handled in a way they’ve never been handled before. For example, in several counties, elections officials are contacting people who’ve not filled out their mail-in or absentee ballot correctly, or omitted a signature, and given them an opportunity to come in and fix it. “That’s illegal,” says Bopp. “There’s nothing in Pennsylvania state election law that permits a re-submission of your ballot.” The end goal with all the Democrat lawsuits, he says, is the high court. “You don’t do one Florida. You do 20 Floridas,” he says. “And why not?

President Bush Says Trump Has Right To Request Election Recount

 

President George W Bush has just released a statement congratulating Vice President - now President-elect - Joe Biden on his victory over President Trump, even while affirming Trump's right to call for a recount.

 

In the brief statement, Bush said he "just talked to the President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden," and that he extended his "warm congratulations and thanked [Biden]" for his Saturday night speech.

 

The former president, the most recent Republican occupant of the White House before Trump, also congratulated the president on earning more than 70 million votes, what he called "an extraordinary political achievement".

 

But most importantly, as the world waits for President Trump to make his first public statement since the vote, Bush reminded us that "Trump has the right to request recounts and pursue legal challenges, and any unresolved issues will be properly adjudicated," Bush said.

 

"The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally, fair its integrity will be upheld, and its outcome is clear," Bush said.

 

He followed that up with more of the same "we must come together for our families and neighbors" that politicians from both parties have been spouting. Notably, GWB is 74, four years younger than Joe Biden.

 

And as far as doling out advice about how to make the American people feel "confident" in the outcome of an election, it's ironic hearing this from Bush, who, 30 years later, is still criticized for "stealing" the 2000 race against Al Gore with the help of his family.

The House Oversight and Reform Committee on Tuesday released a report — accompanied by a tranche of internal White House emails — detailing a scheme spearheaded by now-disgraced former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to sell technology for roughly 40 nuclear power plants to Saudi Arabia.

Define, "results." You would have to have access to the software, which apparently doesn't seem to be too hard, and capture initial results so that you can compare to what is reported. There is also the issue of fake ballots thrown in the mix as well. Not sure if that is for smokescreen purposes, i.e. optics, or if it fulfills some other goal.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough gave the Democratic Party a reality check that will probably go ignored after the media declared former Vice President Joe Biden the president-elect.

 

Although Biden is the likely winner of the election, Democrats suffered significant losses outside of the presidential contest. Not only did Republicans cut into the Democratic majority in the House, but Republicans will likely maintain their majority in the Senate, and Republicans made gains on the state level in New Hampshire and Alaska.

 

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump and the Republican Party made significant gains among most demographic groups.

 

As TheBlaze reported, Trump's support among Hispanic Americans, women, black Americans, Asian Americans, and generally most demographic groups increased this year compared to 2016. He only performed worse among white men, which is Trump's strongest demographic group.

The MSNBC host said the election's results were a "repudiation" of the far-left Democratic agenda that the party's most liberal lawmakers want to force on America.

 

Scarborough's comments were made on his show "Morning Joe" Friday morning before the media declared Biden the election winner.

 

"I've got to put a sidebar in here because after the dust settles, if Joe Biden ends up winning the presidency, then I think a lot of people are going to turn to what happened to the Democratic Party," Scarborough said, Fox News reported.

 

"There is no way to put this other than to say … Joe Biden winning looks like a one-off. This election for the most part was an absolute repudiation of the Democratic Party as a brand. Their brand doesn't work across most of America. It just doesn't," he continued.

 

"They got routed in Senate races they should have won. And I mean, and if you don't believe me, just look back at all the predictions. Are Democrats going to win nine, 10, 11 Senate seats? The House results are perhaps even more shocking. Nobody thought that this was going to be close. The weekend before the election, Republican pollsters were talking about hemorrhaging support in suburbs and couldn't believe the numbers. They said, 'We're going to get destroyed.' The Government’s Lust to Spy

 

In 2019, agents of the federal and state governments persuaded judges to issue 99% of all requested intercepts. An intercept is any type of government surveillance — telephone, text message, email, even in-person. These are intercepts that theoretically are based on probable cause of crime, as is required by the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.

 

The 2019 numbers — which the government released as we were all watching the end of the presidential election campaign — are staggering. The feds, and local and state police in America engaged in 27,431,687 intercepts on 777,840 people. They arrested 17,101 people from among those intercepted and obtained convictions on the basis of evidence obtained via the intercepts on 5,304. That is a conviction rate of 4% of all people spied upon by law enforcement in the United States.

 

Here is the backstory.

 

Readers of this column are familiar with the use by federal agents of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to obtain intercepts using a standard of proof considerably lesser than probable cause of crime. That came about because Congress basically has no respect for the Constitution and authorized the FISA Court to issue intercept warrants if federal agents can identify an American or a foreign person in America who has spoken to a foreign person in another country.

 

Call your cousin in Florence or a bookseller in Edinburgh or an art dealer in Brussels, and under FISA, the feds can get a warrant from the FISA Court to monitor your future calls and texts and emails.

 

This FISA system is profoundly unconstitutional; the Fourth Amendment expressly requires that the government — state and federal — can only lawfully engage in searches and seizures pursuant to warrants issued by a judge based upon a showing under oath of probable cause of crime. The Supreme Court has ruled consistently that intercepts and surveillances constitute searches and seizures. The government searches a database of emails, texts or recorded phone calls and seizes the data it wants.

 

Thus, when the feds have targeted someone for prosecution and lack probable cause of crime about that person, they resort to FISA. This is not only unlawful and unconstitutional, but also it is corrupting, as it permits criminal investigators to cut constitutional corners by obtaining evidence of crimes outside the scope of the Fourth Amendment. The use of the Fourth Amendment is the only lawful means of engaging in surveillance sufficient to introduce the fruits of the surveillance at a criminal trial.

 

If the feds happen upon evidence of a crime from their FISA-authorized intercepts, they then need to engage in deceptive acts of parallel construction. That connotes the false creation of an ostensibly lawful intercept in order to claim that they obtained lawfully what they already have obtained unlawfully.

 

Law enforcement personnel then fake the true means they used to acquire evidence — even duping the prosecutors for whom they work — so the evidence will appear to have been obtained lawfully and thus can be used at trial. At its essence, parallel construction is a deception on the court. If the deception is perpetrated under oath, it is perjury — a felony.

 

This corruption of the Constitution by those in whose hands we have reposed it for safekeeping happens every day in America.

How does this work?

Imagine you have 4 votes split 2:2, and the algo weights them (whether according to which candidate votes go to, to voters' social groups, or even both) at .50 or 1.49 (extreme case, likely much more subtle IRL), but the system only shows pollsters the rounded up integer numbers: .5 and 1.49 both will be rounded to 1, so what you'll see is the real 2:2 split voting.

Volunteer Reportedly Busted Handling Ballots Unsupervised in Philadelphia Cafeteria

 

As Americans get an in-depth look at the vote-counting process, they are witnessing the reality behind the rulebook.

 

Despite the news media on Saturday declaring that Democrat Joe Biden has won, President Donald Trump’s campaign has been challenging the mountain of mail-in ballots that have been instrumental in Biden overcoming leads held by Trump based on voters who cast their ballot in person on Tuesday.

 

Mike Roman, director of Election Day operations for the Trump campaign, shared a video on Twitter to explain why.

 

According to Roman’s post, the video is reportedly from a Philadelphia-area counting center and shows a woman who said she was a volunteer handling ballots all by herself.

 

“In Philly suburbs ‘volunteers’ are handling absentee ballots in the basement lunchroom of the counting center. The ‘election supervisor’ LEFT! They don’t know his name? Are you kidding me?” Roman tweeted.

 

The scene of how votes are being handled infuriated many on Twitter.

 

Trump on Thursday said mass mail-in voting exceeded his worst fears, according to a White House media pool report.

 

“Democrat officials never believed they could win this election honestly. I really believe that. That’s why they did the mail-in ballots, where there’s tremendous corruption and fraud going on. That’s why they mailed out tens of millions of unsolicited ballots without any verification measures whatsoever.

 

“And I’ve told everybody that these things would happen, because I’ve seen it happen. I watched a lot of different elections before they decided to go with this big, massive election with tens of millions of ballots going out to everybody — in many cases, totally unsolicited,” he said.

 

“This was unprecedented in American history. This was by design. Despite years of claiming to care about the election security, they refuse to include any requirement to verify signatures, identities, or even determine whether they’re eligible or ineligible to vote.

Biden's campaign manager said early on election eve that even if Trump took PA and FL there were other "pathways" to 270. That was the call to pull out all the stops, IMO.

 

Gen. McInerney said in the Bannon interview on 11/2 or 11/3 (not sure) that there would be a point where it looked like Trump was cruising but all of a sudden the roof would cave in. He said that they stopped that from happening in 2016, and the how and why he was not going to to divulge.

 

My take, then, is the steal was allowed to happen. The problem for the dems is now that, since Trump's vote total was so massive , the amount of votes necessary to overcome that spiraled into the absurd.

 

MSM telling everybody Biden won is based in the adage that it's easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they have been fooled. Meaning, to me, that the evidence of fraud is going to be so humiliating that more people will get pissed off at the dems then they will at Trump. Enough, at least, to make some type of national governance possible.

Will there be a recount in Pennsylvania?

There are two ways to trigger a recount…

Dems are really pissed at Pelosi and the squad because of election results. Absurd amount of votes that were manufactured to ensure a Biden victory won't withstand scrutiny. Pelosi put them in the line of fire to get rid of Trump. They know what the real vote count was and how the election was rigged. promising a sure win was how Pelosi kept them in line during impeachment and the 2nd stimulus fight. They didn't realize the steal would be so lamebrained.

Statistical oddities wont do that. Spoopy videos of coolers and wagons being dragged in in the middle of night wont do it. Neither will arcane reports from NSA annalists about voting machine firmwares. The only thing I can imagine that would be big enough are smoking-gun intercepted phone calls. But there is a fourth amendment issue if there were no bonafide investigations at the time. It could get messy. That's the outcome I'm worried about.

I haven't. I view them as confused children that trust their sources of authority(news media, entertainment, corrupt government).

 

They haven't seen the things you have, and more importantly, they haven't seen them from sources they trust.

 

The trust must break completely, before they will wake up, and when it does, again…
