This years viewing of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will be limited to just five minutes.

 

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) and the real estate company that owns Rockefeller Center, Tishman Speyer, on Monday released new coronavirus-friendly guidelines for visitors, which included the limit on viewing time, according to The Wall Street Journal.

 

Those who hope to get a glimpse of the tree this year will be required to do so while spaced 6 feet apart and stationed at designated viewing pods. Each pod will hold a maximum of four people.

NRSC Raises โ€˜Unprecedentedโ€™ $75 Million for Pivotal Georgia Senate Elections

 

ATLANTA โ€” National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Todd Young (R-IN) announced on Tuesday that the organization raised an โ€œunprecedentedโ€ $75 million in fundraising ahead of the pivotal Georgia Senate runoffs.

 

Young announced the NRSCโ€™s significant fundraising haul during the Senate GOPโ€™s weekly luncheon, which was conducted via conference call.

 

The NRSC chairman noted that much of the fundraising haul, which was raised from October 15 to November 23, will be focused on reelecting Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Perdue (R-GA).

 

Perdue and Loeffler hope to stave off challenges from Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in January.

 

Young said during the call, โ€œWe are working hand in glove with the Perdue and Loeffler teams to make sure we are successful, and if we win these races, we save the country.โ€

 

Reelecting Perdue and Loeffler would ensure that that the Senate majority does not fall into Democrat hands. If both Georgia conservatives were to lose in January, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the likely vice president, would become the tie-breaking vote in the Senate.

 

This has raised the stakes for the Georgia Senate elections.

 

Subsequently, Republicans, Democrats, and outside PACs have already spent roughly $300 million in ads.

Funvax

The idea of a vaccine against religious fundamentalism is almost laughable. It sounds ridiculous, right? Almost like a plot line from an old Kids in the Hall movie or a hoax article published in the Onion or even a skit on Saturday Night Live. But it might not be as far fetched as you think. According to a conspiracy theory circulating through the Internet, the US Government started a program in 2005 that created a vaccine to โ€œcureโ€ religious fundamentalism. They called this program FunVax. The FunVax program was designed to end the stalemate in Iraq. The pentagon needed something, anything, to give them an edge in the war. A vaccine that targets Islamic extremists and eliminates their desire to believe in God would be the miracle that the pentagon desperately needed. Hence, FunVax was born.

 

This vaccine would target the 'God Gene,' discovered by NIH scientist Dean Hamer in 2004. Hamer showed that this gene predisposes people to a higher level of spirituality. The objective of the FunVax vaccine was to genetically modify the behavior of Islamic extremists so that they would be less inclined to fight a jihad in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

The release of the Pentagon lecture on Youtube created an uproar, but some skeptics claim that the video is fake.

 

This film searches for the truth.

 

Why Are We Raising Funds?

So far the film has been funded by a private investor, friends, and family. The total budget of the film is projected to be $70,000 which leaves us about 10K short. Right now, we have completed a rough version of the film, but are still missing some editing/post-production work and need to do a key interview.

 

Why Is This Film Important?

This film is about more than just a conspiracy. It explores the challenges of the modern world: a world divided between East and West, between Muslims and Christians. Just a couple of months ago, violent protests erupted in over 30 U.S. embassies around the world in reaction to an anti-Islamic film. Once again the world became acutely aware of the religious tension between Islam and Christianity. Mass involuntary inoculations to genetically alter a group's behavior is extremist in itself, but we are living in a world where this is scientifically possible, making this film and the discussions it presents all the more important.

Risks and challenges

The film is 80% finished and although there are many challenges behind us, there are some that we still need to overcome. Securing the stock footage that we have already put in the film is going to be a major challenge requiring a good amount of time and significant money. If we are unable to secure the stock footage that we are currently using in the film (because of the owner not willing to participate), we will need to search for other options. Also, we have an important interview that we would like to do and if we can secure the extra funding we can afford to do that interview but the subject still needs some convincing to participate in the film. If that interview doesn't take place we have a backup interviewee that is willing to participate. Even with these obstacles, I am confident that we can overcome any challenges and produce a great film.
