The Scripture clearly says to pray for those in authority. Agreed, if the authority is evil and there are means to stop it's evil, by all means, but that doesnt negate the command to pray for them.

I've been researching this lately trying to think "what is obvious and being overlooked."

 

Allow me to point out: National Security Presidential Directive NSPD 51/Homeland Security Presidential Directive HSPD-20, sometimes called simply "Executive Directive 51"[1]
