Just so folks are aware… I use "TZBaker" so folks will recognize me and know I'm not a shillBaker.

I am not trying to namefag, but trying to add some credence to new bakes. I was given that

name by another anon when I first baked, so I kept it. I think all bakers should adopt a similar

"baking only" persona so we can be sure we aren't getting NasimShillBakers or MuhJooosBakers.

If anons think I'm wrong to do this, I'll stop, but I think bakers should consider this idea.

It is when we bakers do turnovers that this matters. None of us want a shillBaker, but how can

we be sure? I recognize (I think) the present baker with his Dale pics, but I don't use pics much.

I will be known with my 300ish and 500ish updates, but those are way down the bread. By

telling the oldBaker "This is TimeZoneBaker" when I answer the request, he can be somewhat

assured I am not a shill… of course, nothing stops the shills from grabbing our personas, but

at least it's an attempt. I never mention my "namefag" self except during baking-related

posts… Truly bad form to do otherwise. I appreciate the discussion on this, because I was

not certain if I was breaking 8ch spirit or unwritten rules by adopting this.

There are pluses and minuses to the idea, and several anons have pointed out past failures.

Maybe it's a good idea sometimes and a bad idea others. Probably best to use it if wanted,

and not use it if you don't.

I am the one who brought up this topic. There are good and bad points to it. I think I'll use it judiciously,

and only when appropriate. Usually a non-shill baker will back off if another baker volunteers.

That's one clue. Also, bakers start to recognize one-another as another "no namefagging" advocate pointed out.

So, BakerNameFagging might be appropriate sometimes, but most of the time, it is not. I'll back

off on using mine, but I'll keep it in reserve when needed. Most bakers pay real attention,

and all RealBakers try to ensure both their bake and the next bake are good bread.

One thing we can be sure of, is that Clowns won't bake. One bad bake by them, and they will

be outed to the Powers That Be who watch this board. Our only real problem is bitch ass

shills who are part of the 4 to 6% that Q warned us about early on.
