But the one little thing I observed was Bill Clinton and Bush, neither of whom looked in any way pleased that pressure on them has been released. President Trump risked everything to run for President and he didn't have to do any of that. If the plan had really failed and there was no backup option, I can assure you on the last day of office President Trump would've asked his supporters to take arms and drain the swamp entirely because it would be the final push to get things handled if nothing else worked. Pfizer has said that a spike in immunity occurs between Day 15 and Day 21 after the first jab, when the effectiveness of its vaccine increases from 52 to 89 percent. According to earlier trials, the protection offered by the vaccine reaches the 95 percent level a week after the second dose is administered, the pharma giant said.

 

When it comes to vaccines, the results of clinical trials may differ from how the immunization performs in the field, where it's administered to a much greater number of people.

 

On Tuesday, Israel's coronavirus tsar, Nachman Ash, reportedly complained to Israeli ministers about the insufficient protection provided by the first shot of the American vaccine. It turned out to be "less effective than we had thought" and "lower than Pfizer presented," Ash said, as cited by Army Radio.

A spokesman for the Trump administration's National Security Council did not respond to a query regarding the survivor-designate Tuesday.

 

According to Hudak, security in D.C. was so high around the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday that the risk of a catastrophe had been narrowed "pretty dramatically."

 

But Hudak, who expressed in a column that Vice President Kamala Harris should have been sworn in at a separate location from Biden, said the threat of attack remained viable.

 

"When you look at the counterintelligence and other investigations, you're hearing the same things about 'online chatter.' You are hearing about radicalization, extremist ideologies. We are talking about Americans in this sense, the way we said the same things about al-Qaida 20 years ago and the same thing about ISIS," Hudak said.

 

As VIPs were introduced during the inauguration ceremony Wednesday, one of the most obvious absences in the line of succession was Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Several others took their seats on the scaffolding, including Senate President Pro Tempore Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and incoming President Pro Tempore Sen. Patrick Leahy.

 

Hudak cautioned against determining who might be the designated survivor from those present and absent at the event, especially in a year where the outgoing president chose not to attend.

 

"The challenge is, if you get down into the cabinet, to see who is or who's not there, like if Mike Pompeo is not there, it might just be because he doesn't want to go," Hudak said.

 

Regardless, at noon Wednesday, Biden's codes for the nuclear arsenal were activated and he gained possession of the briefcase containing the technology to launch the nation's weapons. At the same time, Trump's were deactivated.

THE HUNGER GAMES

 

For my Guerrilla Sniper Rifle subject, I utilized a Savage bolt action 308 (short action length), a Choate Folding Sniper Stock, and a Nikon 3-9 x 40 BDC reticle scope. That and a minimal set of supporting accoutrements are really all one needs.

 

First, why a bolt action?

 

In the Guerrilla Sniper role, it is unlikely that multiple fast follow up shots will be needed, at least in the context of how I foresee such activity. We are generally talking about one or perhaps at most three well placed shots, and then scoot. A bolt action does this with a lighter, more accurate, less complicated, and usually much cheaper implementation than a semi-auto battle rifle. A solid bolt action is simple and offers several tactical advantages (brass retention, ease of scoping, superior suppressor platform, etc.). Keep it simple when you can and you will usually find that you have the best tool for the job. So I chose a bolt action.

 

Second, why the Savage 100/10/Stevens 200 action in particular?

 

From my analysis, I think there are three significant advantages that this action offers:

 

1) Accuracy/Economy ratio – they are the most affordable option and inherently accurate

 

2) Barrel changes – to be able to replace or exchange barrels yourself is unique and enabling

 

3) Accutrigger – to have an excellent trigger out of the box is a significant advantage

 

That all said, don’t get too hung up on requiring the gun to have an Accutrigger, as most of the standard triggers can easily be made quite serviceable (possible exception being the basic “two screw” variety that comes on the Stevens 200 and some older Savages). The three screw models I’ve played with are just fine. If this is not the case for you, several excellent aftermarket triggers exist.

 

As to barrels, while one can make do with the standard 22” factory sporter barrel, the Guerilla Sniper concept really shines when you utilize a shorter barrel, something in the 16” – 20” range. It may not seem like much, but shortening the barrel by just a few inches significantly improves the handiness of the rifle when in use and opens up whole new areas for transport and storage with the stock folded. I have played with barrels from 22” down to 18” so far, with a 16-1/2” barrel next in the queue for testing.

Lets see what the State of the Union speech is about.

 

Will Sleepy Joe be able to get through 2 full hours? Or will he change protocol and allow Kamala to do half? Will look lame ad ghey if he does.

 

The speech will probably be about the NWO and 666 Mark of the beast. So that will be worth it.

 

If arrests are not made after the State of the Union, then I guess its time to move on with life. I'll still digg and research as I've always done though, but nothing major will then change and USA will look like the back of a dumpster behind a YMCA in a Detroit alley.

 

So lets keep trusting the plan. Maybe arrests soon, maybe after state of the Union. After that there are no more 10 days etc. or markers that I can see and its time to get on with life. Got to make some money.

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S. data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in government.

 

For a second consecutive year, the Obama administration set a record for times federal employees told citizens, journalists and others that despite searching they couldn’t find a single page of files that were requested.

 

And it set records for outright denial of access to files, refusing to quickly consider requests described as especially newsworthy, and forcing people to pay for records who had asked the government to waive search and copy fees.

 

The government acknowledged when challenged that it had been wrong to initially refuse to turn over all or parts of records in more than one-third of such cases, the highest rate in at least six years.

 

In courtrooms, the number of lawsuits filed by news organizations under the Freedom of Information Act surged during the past four years, led by the New York Times, Center for Public Integrity and The Associated Press, according to a litigation study by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. The AP on Monday settled its 2015 lawsuit against the State Department for files about Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, at AP’s request, and received $150,546 from the department to cover part of its legal fees.

 

The AP has pending lawsuits against the FBI for records about its decision to impersonate an AP journalist during a criminal investigation and about who helped the FBI hack into a mass shooting suspect’s iPhone and how much the government paid to do it.

 

Of the $36.2 million in legal costs fighting such lawsuits last year, the Justice Department accounted for $12 million, the Homeland Security Department for $6.3 million and the Pentagon for $4.8 million. The three departments accounted for more than half the government’s total records requests last year.

 

The figures reflect the final struggles of the Obama administration during the 2016 election to meet President Barack Obama’s pledge that it was “the most transparent administration in history,” despite wide recognition of serious problems coping with requests under the information law. It received a record 788,769 requests for files last year and spent a record $478 million answering them and employed 4,263 full-time FOIA employees across more than 100 federal departments and agencies. That was higher by 142 such employees the previous year.

 

A spokesman for former President Obama did not immediately respond to an email request for comment late Monday. The White House under Obama routinely defended its efforts under the information law in recent years and said federal employees worked diligently on such requests for records.

 

It remains unclear how President Donald Trump’s administration will perform under the Freedom of Information Act or other measures of government transparency. Trump has not spoken extensively about transparency. In his private business and his presidential campaign, Trump required employees and advisers to sign non-disclosure agreements that barred them from discussing their work. His administration has barred some mainstream news organizations from campaign rallies and one White House press briefing. And Trump broke with tradition by refusing to disclose his tax returns.

 

Trump’s secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, is traveling to Asia this week on a small plane without a contingent of journalists or a designated pool reporter who would send reports to the broader diplomatic press corps, departing from 50 years of practice.

 

Overall, in the final year of Obama’s administration, people who asked for records last year under the law received censored files or nothing in 77 percent of requests, about the same as the previous year. In the first full year after Obama’s election, that figure was only 65 percent of cases. The government released the new figures in the days ahead of Sunshine Week, which ends Sunday, when news organizations promote open government and freedom of information.

 

Under the records law, citizens and foreigners can compel the U.S. government to turn over copies of federal records for zero or little cost. Anyone who seeks information through the law is generally supposed to get it unless disclosure would hurt national security, violate personal privacy or expose business secrets or confidential decision-making in certain areas.
