Buy a deep freeze and then buy half a beef from a grass-fed farm. They will have it processed for you. There also poultry farms which do the same.

UPDATE TMZ has learned … Tiger was staying at a hotel where a major network television show was being shot. Production sources tell TMZ, when the director arrived just before 7 AM, Tiger was driving his SUV very fast as he was leaving the property and almost hit the director's car. I posted screen shots of the images I caught before they were deleted. Most people haven't even caught on that posts get deleted (some realize the pinned locations disappear pretty quickly) but that's it.

His study of mental disorder made him one of the founders of American psychiatry.[5] In 1965 the American Psychiatric Association recognized Rush as the "father of American psychiatry".[6]

While Rush was representing Pennsylvania in the Continental Congress (and serving on its Medical Committee), he also used his medical skills in the field. Rush accompanied the Philadelphia militia during the battles after which the British occupied Philadelphia and most of New Jersey. The Army Medical Service was in disarray, between the military casualties, extremely high losses due to typhoid, yellow fever and other camp illnesses, political conflicts between Dr. John Morgan and Dr. William Shippen, Jr., and inadequate supplies and guidance from the Medical Committee.[17]:29–43, 65–92 Nonetheless, Rush accepted an appointment as surgeon-general of the middle department of the Continental Army. Rush's order "Directions for preserving the health of soldiers" became one of the foundations of preventive military medicine and was repeatedly republished, including as late as 1908.[18][19]:36–41 However, Rush's reporting of Dr. Shippen's misappropriation of food and wine supplies intended to comfort hospitalized soldiers, under-reporting of patient deaths, and failure to visit the hospitals under his command, ultimately led to Rush's resignation in 1778.

 

Controversy

Rush criticized General George Washington in two handwritten but unsigned letters while still serving under the Surgeon General. One, to Virginia Governor Patrick Henry dated October 12, 1778, quoted General Thomas Conway saying that if not for God's grace the ongoing war would have been lost by Washington and his weak counselors. Henry forwarded the letter to Washington, despite Rush's request that the criticism be conveyed orally, and Washington recognized the handwriting. At the time, the supposed –Conway Cabal'' was reportedly trying to replace Washington with Horatio Gates as commander-in-chief.[13]:133–34 Rush's letter relayed General John Sullivan's criticism that forces directly under Washington were undisciplined and mob-like, and contrasted Gates' army as "a well-regulated family".[20]:212–215 Ten days later, Rush wrote to John Adams relaying complaints inside Washington's army, including about "bad bread, no order, universal disgust" and praising Conway, who had been appointed to Inspector General.[13]:136–37

 

Dr. Shippen sought Rush's resignation and received it by the end of the month after Continental Congress delegate John Witherspoon, chairman of a committee to investigate Morgan's and Rush's charges of misappropriation and mismanagement against Shippen, told Rush his complaints would not produce reform.[12]:219–20 Rush later expressed regret for his gossip against Washington. In a letter to John Adams in 1812, Rush wrote, "He [Washington] was the highly favored instrument whose patriotism and name contributed greatly to the establishment of the independence of the United States." A top doctor who was in charge of healing Russia's Opposition leader after being poisoned has died 'very unexpectedly'.

 

Sergey Maximishin was the deputy chief physician of the Omsk emergency hospital and was tasked with treating Alexei Navalny.

 

A statement from the hospital says: "With regret, we inform you that…the deputy chief physician for anaesthesiology and resuscitation of the emergency hospital β„–1, assistant of the department of Omsk State Medical University, PhD of medical sciences Maksimishin Sergey Valentinovich suddenly passed away."

 

Hospital colleague Maria Morozova, who saw him this week, said the death was 'very unexpected'.

 

The Daily Mail reports he died from a heart attack induced by high blood pressure.

Galina Nazarova, spokeswoman for Omsk Health Ministry, said there wasn't anything nefarious behind the man's death.

 

"He buried his parents this year. He died at work, in his intensive care unit, where he worked," she said. "He was in the hospital, he was placed in intensive care and he died there."

 

But Navalny's chief of staff, Leonid Volkov, has released a statement to CNN, questioning officials: "Sergey Maximishin was the head of department that treated Alexey Navalny and was in charge of his treatment - specifically his medically induced coma.

 

"[Maximishim] knew more than anyone else about Alexey's condition so I can't dismiss possibility of foul play.

 

"However Russia's health care system is very poor and it's not uncommon for doctors of his age to suddenly die. I doubt there will any investigation into his death."

 

Navalny was poisoned with what some in the West have said was a military grade nerve agent that was put into his underpants by state security agents.

 

He became sick while on a plane from Siberia to Moscow and the aircraft made an emergency landing in Omsk.

 

He was placed in an induced coma at the local hospital and Maximishin was in charge of 'guiding' his care.

 

Navalny was then evacuated to Germany for further treatment and it took him five months to recover from the poisoning.

 

He defiantly returned to Russia last month and was taken into custody. Navalny was sent to prison this week for two and a half years for violating probation terms of a previous sentence.

 

The Opposition leader has blamed his poisoning on Russian security services and on President Vladimir Putin.

β€˜Home Improvement’ star Zachery Ty Bryan pleads guilty in choking case

 

β€œHome Improvement” actor Zachery Ty Bryan cut a plea deal Tuesday to avoid jail time in the β€œchoking” attack on his girlfriend in Oregon last year, according to reports.

 

The 39-year-old actor pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of menacing and fourth-degree assault in exchange for three years of probation in the Oct. 16, 2020, attack on his girlfriend in his Eugene apartment, KEZI-TV said Tuesday.

 

Prosecutors agreed to drop six other charges β€” which included strangulation and coercion β€” against Bryan, the station said.

 

The actor also agreed not to contact the victim.

 

Police said officers arriving at the apartment complex after the incident found Bryan sitting outside and his girlfriend reportedly hiding in a friend’s apartment.

 

Bryan was arrested and released on $8,500 bail the following day.

 

According to police documents obtained by TMZ at the time, the actor’s girlfriend told police he woke, pulled her by her hair and started beating her while shouting obscenities β€” and choked her to the point that she feared she would suffocate.

 

Bryan is best known for his role of Brad Taylor in the hit 1990’s TV comedy, and has since become a television producer.

Biden, Canada's Trudeau Agree to Counter Chinese Influence, Modernize NORAD

 

President Joe Biden after a virtual meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said both leaders agreed to coordinate on numerous mutual concerns, such as countering Chinese influence, modernizing the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and tackling climate change.

 

In a press conference at the conclusion of the bilateral meeting on Tuesday, Biden noted that the conversation was very productive. He said that they "agreed to modernize [NORAD]," "launch an expanded US-Canadian dialogue to cover issues related to continental security, economic and social development and arctic governance."

 

"Coming on the heels of the G7 meeting last Friday it was an opportunity for Prime Minister Trudeau and I to explore our bilateral partnership, to reinforce and help drive issues of concern in our hemisphere and globally, that includes coordinating our approaches to better compete with China and to counter threats to our interests and values," Biden said.

 

Biden also pointed out, that the United States and Canada will expand coordination on countering China's influence, adding that countries will work to free two Canadians currently detained in China.

 

The United States and Canada also agreed to launch forums to tackle mutual issues concerning cross-border crime and climate change, Biden said.

 

The climate change forum will be a high-level ministerial that will work toward aligning bilateral policies and goals, which includes achieving net zero emissions by 2050, Biden added.

 

The two leaders also agreed to work together to prevent biological threats by strengthening the World Health Organization, cooperating with global partners against the spread of weapons of mass destruction, and to work closely to strengthen supply chain security.

Speaking exclusively to National File, Andrew Torba, the CEO of Gab, said that the New Tech platform was banned from three different banks in the last three weeks alone for political reasons. One of the banks told Torba on Monday morning that they could no longer do business with the site because of β€œall the bad things the press has written about Gab.”

A groundbreaking new rule you might not have heard about could save you thousands of dollars. For the first time, America's hospitals are required to give upfront pricing on medical procedures so you can shop around. It's the result of a June 2019 Executive Order from President Trump. It took effect January first after surviving legal challenges from U.S. hospitals. Cynthia Fisher of patientrightsadvocate.org helped push the big change that has bipartisan support.

 

Cynthia Fisher: It was very difficult because hospitals and insurance companies and the many middle players had kept patients blind to know prices. And then we were blindsided by outrageous medical bills and, oftentimes, price gouged, and then expected to pay with a blank check whatever the hospitals chose to charge us. And now that is game over for being kept in the dark.

 

Sharyl: Do you know how this works in practice? So as of now, if somebody needs a medical procedure done at a hospital, do they call and ask, do they go online?

 

Cynthia Fisher: Yes. So, the rules, and by law, the hospitals are to post their prices, the discounted cash prices and the negotiated rates for our care, online, easily accessible for any consumer. And we have the right to know these discounted cash prices, which in general, are nearly 40% lower oftentimes than the negotiated rate

 

Sharyl: For the insurance companies?

 

Cynthia Fisher: For the insurance companies. And knowing these charges will drive down the cost of care and coverage because it invokes competition and the consumer being aware of competition.

 

Sharyl: Can prices vary dramatically from one hospital to the next for the same procedure?

 

Cynthia Fisher: Absolutely. In fact, what also prompted this whole change was innovative surgical centers like OSS Surgical in York, Pennsylvania. I'll give you a great example. They post their prices online. And employers, like Stauffers Grocery, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania had incentivized their employees by steering them to centers such as OSS where a knee replacement, one of their employees shared with us that her knee replacement was $15,000 posted online. Their employer gave her a $2,000 bonus for getting that knee replacement there rather than in the opaque hospital system where, coincidentally, her husband had a knee replacement the same year. And his, at the opaque hospital system that didn't show its price, was $75,000. So, look at the difference, a $15,000 knee replacement versus a $75,000 knee replacement. And knowing that upfront, that employee, that worker saved her own funds as well as for her company and fellow employees.

 

And a woman in Georgia actually shopped online with one of the price transparent surgical centers at Oklahoma Surgical and saw that the procedure that she was quoted in her Atlanta, Georgia hospital for an estimate of around $40,000 could be an actual price at Oklahoma Surgical for 3,600. Rather than flying to Oklahoma for that surgery, she actually negotiated with her hospital and they matched the price, and she ended up getting it for 3,600.

 

Cynthia Fisher: So, this huge win of healthcare price transparency, knowing the real prices, accurate prices, before we get care will be something that is there for what 90% of Americans surveyed have wanted all along. To know prices from both hospitals and insurers so that they can save to reduce their costs of their care and coverage.

 

Sharyl (on camera): There’s more. Soon, insurance companies will have to disclose the secretive rates they’ve negotiated with doctors and hospitals. Insurers have fought that rule saying it will cost millions to provide the data.

I've been over this with medical folks over and over and over and over and over again. Even the "smart" ones still blame COVID because a majority of American are actually living with co-morbidities they don't even realize they have. Military folks are generally healthier, or at least get regular exercise (to an extent). It does make rational sense because most people would've probably lived on through 2020, and died at another time in the future. But they catch the rona, and all of a sudden their blood clots all over the place, their lungs take damage (lots of it), and they are fucked up beyond all recognition.

 

In other words, comparing the death toll of COVID between a group of (generally) healthy people and a group of people with an aging population and a fucking KFC on every goddamned corner, and you're going to get some ratio differences.
