Anons, does it make sense that you think with everyone around you, more influenced by those in your closest proximity, i.e. as a 'hive-mind', either telepathically or simply by how well you read your surroundings?

Looking even further ahead, could a Katumuwa of the future realise the Sam’alan’s dream of mental immortality? It would of course be hugely challenging to reverse-engineer the informational content of a human brain and then to upload it to a more durable silicon-based computing substrate that processed information both along wires and through fields. Challenging, but not impossible. They won’t be made of basalt, but it might one day be possible to build potentially immortal receptacles for electric souls. Katumuwa’s dream could be the future of humanity.

TANZANIA’S LATE PRESIDENT MAGUFULI: ‘SCIENCE DENIER’ OR THREAT TO EMPIRE?

 

Less than 2 weeks ago, Tanzanian Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan delivered the news that her country’s president, John Pombe Magufuli, had died of heart failure. President Magufuli had been described as missing since the end of February, with several anti-government parties circulating stories that he had fallen ill with COVID-19. During his presidency, Magufuli had consistently challenged neocolonialism in Tanzania, whether it manifested through the exploitation of his country’s natural resources by predatory multinationals or the West’s influence over his country’s food supply.

 

In the months leading up to his death, Magufuli had become better known and particularly demonized in the West for opposing the authority of international organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) in determining his government’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. However, Magufuli had spurned many of the same interests and organizations angered by his response to COVID for years, having kicked out Bill Gates-funded trials of genetically-modified crops and more recently angering some of the most powerful mining companies in the West, companies with ties to the World Economic Forum and the Forum’s efforts to guide the course of the 4th industrial revolution.

Indeed, more threatening than his recent COVID controversies was the threat Magufuli posed to foreign control over the world’s largest, ready-to-develop nickel deposit, a metal essential to electric car batteries and thus the current effort to usher in an electric, autonomous vehicle revolution. For instance, just a month before he disappeared, Magufuli had signed an agreement to begin developing that nickel deposit, a deposit that had been previously co-owned by Barrick Gold and Glencore, the commodity giant deeply tied to Israel’s Mossad, until Magufuli revoked their licenses for the project in 2018.

 

Running afoul of the most powerful corporate and banking cartels followed then by the mysterious onset of sudden regime change would normally garner considerable coverage from anti-imperialist independent media outlets, which recently covered similar events in Bolivia that led to the removal of Evo Morales from power. However, the very outlets that have extensively covered Western-backed regime change efforts for years have been entirely silent on the very convenient death of Magufuli. Presumably, their silence is related to Magufuli’s flouting of COVID-19 narrative orthodoxy, as these same outlets have largely promoted the official narrative of the pandemic.

Yet, regardless of whether one agrees with Magufuli’s response to COVID, his sudden departure and Tanzania’s new leadership is a defeat for a widely popular domestic movement that sought to mitigate and reverse the centuries-long exploitation of Tanzania by the West. Now, with Magufuli’s lengthy disappearance followed by his apparent sudden death from heart failure, the country’s future is now set to be determined by Tanzanian politicians with deep ties to the oligarch-beholden United Nations and the World Economic Forum.

 

In contrast to Magufuli, who routinely stood up to predatory corporations and imperialist designs on his country, Samia Suhulhu and Tanzanian opposition politician Tundu Lissu are poised to offer up their country’s resources, and their population, on the altar of the Western elite-driven 4th industrial revolution.

Update on the DNS fuckery

 

Here's the situation right now. I have tested with 4 DNS servers (my ISP, Google, Cloudflare and OpenDNS). All 4 are in agreement. This was not the case 2 or 3 days ago so this is an improvement. There are 9 valid IP addresses:

These are for 8kun.top, media.8kun.top, softserve.8kun.top and nerv.8kun.top (the critical ones are the first two). The posting server is sys.8kun.top (185.165.190.88) but that one has not been an issue for the past week.

 

Now, the problem appears to be that the default DNS server provided by your ISP may not be updating to the new IP address list. My own ISP is fine but this may not be true for you. You can either change your DNS server or modify your "hosts" file. The addresses for some alternative DNS servers are:

 

Cloudflare - 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Google - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

OpenDNS - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

 

I have seen suggestions that Google has been purporsely mucking up the DNS. From what I can tell, the fault lies with Vanwanet. Maybe they were upgrading their network so the pain may be worth it. I see no indication of a "conspiracy" against us. Just to set the record straight.

 

If you modify your "hosts" file, just pick one of the 9 IP addresses from the list above. You don't need to use all of them. As long as everybody is not using the same address then it's cool.

Two weeks ago, a distraught Noah reportedly called his brother and asked if he could move in with him.

 

Noah said he was "in a really bad situation and in really bad shape," Brendan told the paper.

"I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. "He was really paranoid from that point moving forward," Andre Toran reportedly said.

"He was a stand-up guy," Damian Jiggetts told the paper.

 

"He was on the dean’s list. He was a motivator. That was the Noah I knew and regardless of what happened today, that is what his legacy should be."

US shuts once-secret Guantanamo prison unit, moves prisoners

 

WASHINGTON (AP) — A once-secret unit within the Guantanamo Bay detention center that had fallen into disrepair has been closed and the prisoners moved to another facility on the American base in Cuba, the U.S. military said Sunday.

 

The prisoners at Camp 7 were transferred to a facility adjacent to where the other detainees on the base are held as part of what U.S. Southern Command said in a statement was an effort to "increase operational efficiency and effectiveness."

 

Miami-based Southern Command, which oversees the detention center at the southeastern edge of Cuba, did not say how many prisoners were moved. Officials have previously said about 14 men were held in Camp 7. There are 40 prisoners at Guantanamo.

 

Southern Command said the Camp 7 prisoners were moved to Camp 5 "safely and without incident," but did not say when the transfer occurred. Camp 5, which was largely empty, is next to Camp 6, where the other detainees are held.

 

Camp 7 opened in December 2006 for prisoners previously held in a network of clandestine CIA detention facilities, often referred to as "black sites," where they were subjected to brutal interrogation techniques. The military ran it under an agreement with CIA, and Southern Command said intelligence agencies were involved with the transfer.

 

The military long refused to even acknowledge the location of Camp 7 on the base and has never allowed journalists to see the inside of the facility. Officials had said that unit, which was never designed to be permanent, had structural issues and needed to be replaced, but the Pentagon dropped plans to seek money for the construction.

 

Among those held at Camp 7 were the five prisoners charged with war crimes for their alleged roles planning and providing logistical support for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

While we respect the "Chinese wall" supposedly separating the investment banking and capital markets operations at investment banks like Jefferies, it's certainly interesting how the firm and its analysts upped its GME price target to $175 on March 24, just two weeks ago, marking the second-highest price target on the street (second only to Zacks Investment Research's $203 target). There is so much going on behind the scenes that cannot yet be made public knowledge, but it should be sufficient to say that all progresses well. The size of the tasks ahead would be beyond your imagination; they involve many thousands of people working for the Light who are gradually dismantling the web of control that the dark Ones have built over a great period of time.

 

It has taken years of planning to build up to the point where the Light has achieved its power, not just to match the Cabal but to overpower them. Many times the Light has had victory in their grasp only to have to concede their position to them, so as to avoid threats to annihilate millions of the world’s population in retaliation. So over a long period of time the Light has arranged matters so that they could achieve their objective in a more subtle manner, keeping the dark Ones in check whilst weakening their methods of control.

 

The Light now has great support that includes the armed forces who have been very active during the lockdown. The very future of the Earth and its people totally depends on the outcome of present events, but have no fear because they are in the hands of the higher Forces of Light.

 

The dark Ones cannot accept that they are now losing the battle for the Earth, and are at their most dangerous as like a wounded animal they will hit out at whatever stands in their way. However, it is too late for them to turn the tables, and they will not leave quietly but cause as much trouble as they can even at the risk of their own lives.

 

They are prepared to die for their cause believing in a distorted way that they are the “Chosen Ones” and will be rewarded. It is inevitable that the Forces Of Light will have to make sacrifices in winning this battle but that is unavoidable in the circumstances. It is reassuring to know that they are fighting the last battle upon Earth, following which there will be a great period of cleansing and a rapid move into the New Age and all of the benefits that come with it.

 

Bear in mind the future that lies ahead of you is going to be so different to what you are experiencing now. It hardly bears any resemblance to what you are used to and is a totally different form of existence, notably that you will become so much more independent. Since you will be able to provide for all of your needs by using your power of pure thought, clearly you will have become much more independent and not dependent on others for your well-being.

 

It is by your reckoning quite a long way off but you can bring it into manifestation more quickly through your power of thought. Your consciousness is expanding much more quickly now as you head towards becoming a more evolved being, and so it will continue as you raise your vibrations.

 

Forgetting your immediate problems for a moment, you should be able to visualize the coming period of Light. It puts power into your hands because you will have reached a point where you have risen above the negative energies that will no longer have any influence upon you.

 

Many of you have already been able to do so and have full control over your thoughts and actions. It is very testing in the present times but can be achieved if you put your mind to it. Life becomes more acceptable and your confidence grows in your ability to keep calm in all circumstances, regardless of what is going on all around you. Stay calm and forgive yourself if you should be overcome by the circumstances around you. Learn from your lapses and you will be well on your path to success and Ascension.

An Extraordinary Winning Streak for Religion at the Supreme Court

 

WASHINGTON — “For many today, religious liberty is not a cherished freedom,” Justice Samuel Alito told the Federalist Society, the conservative legal group, in November. “It pains me to say this, but, in certain quarters, religious liberty is fast becoming a disfavored right.”

 

Those quarters do not include the Supreme Court, which has become far more likely to rule in favor of religious rights in recent years, according to a new study that considered 70 years of data.

 

The study, to be published in The Supreme Court Review, documented a 35-percentage-point increase in the rate of rulings in favor of religion in orally argued cases, culminating in an 81% success rate in the court led by Chief Justice John Roberts.

 

“Plainly, the Roberts court has ruled in favor of religious organizations, including mainstream Christian organizations, more frequently than its predecessors,” wrote the study’s authors, Lee Epstein of Washington University in St. Louis and Eric A. Posner of the University of Chicago. “With the replacement of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with Amy Coney Barrett, this trend will not end soon and may accelerate.”

 

The kinds of cases the court is hearing have changed, too. In the Warren court, all of the rulings in favor of religion benefited minority or dissenting practitioners. In the Roberts court, most of the religious claims were brought by mainstream Christians.

 

The five most pro-religion justices all sit on the current court, the study found.

 

“The justices who are largely responsible for this shift are Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh,” the study’s authors wrote. “While there are some differences among these justices, and Kavanaugh has been involved in only a handful cases, they are clearly the most pro-religion justices on the Supreme Court going back at least until World War II.” All are Republican appointees.

 

In the last term alone, the court sided with Christian religious groups in three argued cases. The court ruled that state programs supporting private schools must include religious ones, that the Trump administration could allow employers with religious objections to deny contraception coverage to female workers and that employment discrimination laws do not apply to many teachers at religious schools.

 

And the court will soon decide whether Philadelphia may bar a Catholic agency that refused to work with same-sex couples from screening potential foster parents.

 

After Barrett joined the court, it changed positions on the one question on which religious groups had been losing: whether governors could restrict attendance in houses of worship to address the coronavirus pandemic.

 

There has been a similar shift in the entire federal judiciary in cases on the constitutional protection of the free exercise of religion.

 

Protecting that right, as Alito pointed out in his speech, used to be a bipartisan commitment. In 1990, when the Supreme Court cut back on protections for free exercise, with Justice Antonin Scalia writing the majority opinion, Congress responded with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

 

“The law had almost universal support,” Alito said. “In the House, the vote was unanimous. In the Senate, it was merely 97 to 3, and the bill was enthusiastically signed by President Clinton.”

 

Earlier studies, covering 1996 to 2005 and 2006 to 2015, found that judges’ partisan affiliations, as reflected by political parties of the presidents who appointed them, were not significantly tied to their votes in free exercise cases.

 

Zalman Rothschild, a fellow at the Stanford Constitutional Law Center, updated that data in a second study, to be published in The Cornell Law Review. He found that things had changed.

 

“The politicization of religious freedom has infiltrated every level of the federal judiciary,” Rothschild wrote.

 

In the five years through the end of 2020, he wrote, federal judges’ partisan affiliations had become powerfully correlated to their votes. “And when the pandemic struck, resulting in widespread lockdowns of religious houses of worship,” he wrote, “the unprecedented number of constitutional free exercise cases brought in such a condensed span of time forced that partisanship into sharp relief.”

It just hit me! A couple weekends ago, when lots of spoofy stuff was happening on the board, somehow anons were posting with the same ID, like a group of anons had the same ID. It still happens occasionally, since that time.

So, if 1 post was in “violation” I take it, all anons w/that ID got caught-up in the ban? This makes some sense, except ALL the posts in violation occurred on another board, not here, so what happened?

Anyway, I think it’s being done on purpose by bad people wanting to disrupt the board and discourage anons.

The most important lesson that the study of history teaches us is contingency. Things did not have to turn out the way they did. Take, for instance, the answer that our civilization has historically given to the most important question of all: “What does it mean to be a human being?” Ever since the Enlightenment, many people in the West have had the impression that answering this question is easy, that it’s just a matter of observing human behavior empirically across time and space and then abstracting a few universal maxims from the data. This is our modern faith: that we can read the truth about ourselves in the record of nature the way we read a story in a book.

 

The seminal example of this is the preamble to the Declaration of Independence, written at the high meridian of the Enlightenment by one of its most incandescent minds:

 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

 

For Jefferson, and for us who live today by the light of his words, it’s “self-evident” that “the mass of mankind has not been born, with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them.” But most people in most places at most times have not thought about human beings like this. The idea that we are all equal, unique personalities, each possessed of unfathomable dignity and inviolable rights, is a rare and relatively parochial one. The world once existed without it (as much of the world still does today) and could easily do so again if we forget where that idea came from and what has sustained it for so long.

 

We can trace the ancestry of the word “person” back to the ancient Greek word prosopon, which means “mask.” It was used at first in the context of Greek tragedy. Actors wore the physical prosopon of the role they played in a dramatic production. But it soon took on a political and social meaning, especially in Roman society. The Latin word for prosopon is persona, from which our English word is derived. According to the Roman usage, one’s persona was one’s social and legal role within the community. This role varied wildly from one person to the next, from nobleman to senator to shopkeeper to servant, and it didn’t encompass all humans equally the way the word “person” does now. Different social stations were thought almost to be different species, sharing nothing in common, and no one was thought to have any kind of individual existence apart from the role they played in the state. Roman slaves, for instance, were habitually referred to as non habens personam: literally, “not having a person” or “not a person,” because their social functions were so menial and tool-like. Who they actually were as “people” underneath, as we now understand the word, didn’t matter at all.

 

The Greek dramatic and the Roman political usages of the word have one important thing in common. In neither case is the unique individual who’s behind the mask or who’s playing the social role assigned to him thought to be significant in the least. Metropolitan John Zizioulas puts it like this: “Many writers have represented [ancient] Greek thought as essentially ‘non-personal.’ In its Platonic variation, everything concrete and ‘individual’ is ultimately referred to the abstract idea which constitutes its ground and final justification.”

 

As they themselves saw it, people in the ancient world really existed only to the extent that they participated in some larger project, whether on the stage or in the city, which constituted their “ground and final justification.” As Zizioulas goes on to write, “identity – that vital component of the concept of man, that which makes one man differ from another, which makes him who he is — [was] guaranteed and provided by the state or by some organized whole.” For this reason, the historian Larry Siedentop writes that in the ancient city, “there was no notion of the rights of individuals against the claims of the city and its gods. There was no formal liberty of thought or action. . . . Citizens belonged to the city, body and soul.” If the individual had any value at all, it was only by reference to some organized collective.

In the 1980's I was in the navy on a destroyer. We were out to sea about 50 miles off coast of California and found an orange drone like the one in photo floating along. We picked it up and returned it to Raytheon.
