New fissure opens as La Palma volcano continues to erupt, destroying homes & EVAPORATING swimming pools

 

A new volcanic fissure has emerged on the Spanish Canary Island of La Palma, producing more lava and prompting evacuations. While there have been no deaths or injuries, the ongoing eruption has caused widespread destruction.

 

The fissure opened overnight following an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1, the Canary Islandsโ€™ volcanology institute, Involcan, said. The new fissure has produced more lava, forcing an additional 500 people to evacuate.

 

The destructive eruption which began on Sunday afternoon has forced a total of 6,000 people to evacuate. The lava continues to flow westwards toward the sea in three tongues, destroying everything it comes across.

 

As of early Tuesday, the volcanic flow has destroyed 166 houses on the island, covering an area of some 103 hectares, according to figures released by the European Unionโ€™s Copernicus Emergency Management service.

 

No injuries or deaths have been reported amid the disaster. Local authorities have cautioned people against going to watch the eruption up close, particularly when the lava hits the sea.

 

The lava striking the Atlantic Ocean will effectively look like its meeting with the ill-fated swimming pool โ€“ but on a much larger scale. The contact will create a cloud of hot and toxic gases, and could also result in multiple explosions of the molten rock.

That's the thing though, that picture on the right doesn't look like many of her other photos. They are extremely similar looking. Oddly enough, even Lily Rader's Twitter is (right now) discussing how she recently removed the tattoo on her arm.

im sure my post is going to be like shouting into the wind, but figured i may as well post this anyhow.

 

im gay been married to a man for over ten years. he is far more sexually active then i am but even that isnt much like few times a year kinda thing.

 

we both took ivermectin in march of this year when we got covid, our symptoms were no worse than a mild flu only difference was total loss of taste and smell.

A shocking report from Arizona last week reveals that hundreds of thousands of new voter registrations had no match within the Social Security Administration database.

Three Fort Drum soldiers died of suspected suicides in the span of three days last week, authorities announced Sunday.

 

The upstate New York base announced the deaths in a Sunday statement and said there was no connection between the three incidents.

Michael Corrigan pleads guilty for involvement in Murwillumbah protest

A movie stuntman who was seen riding a horse at protests in Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah has detailed his motivation for getting involved.

 

A movie stuntman who rode a horse in two different lockdown protests says he lost his job after the border between Queensland and NSW was closed.

 

Michael James Corrigan, 52, pleaded guilty in Murwillumbah Local Court on Wednesday to unlawfully participating in an outdoor gathering in a stay at home area.

 

Corrigan was charged for his involvement at a protest outside the Tweed Shire Council Chambers in Murwillumbah on August 31.

 

The court heard it happened nine days after he was fined for participating in a protest at the state border.

 

Defence lawyer Russell Baxter told the court his client lost his work in the film and TV industry when the borders were shut.

 

โ€œThis is the first time in his knowledge a person has been criticised for wanting to go to work,โ€ Mr Baxter said.

 

He said his client thought taking the horse to the border protest would be a great idea for publicity and that he believed the horse, which was trained to be around people, would ensure he was socially distanced.

 

Mr Baxter said Corrigan had been asked by other protesters to attend the Murwillumbah protest with the horse, which he โ€œfoolishlyโ€ decided to attend, arriving late.

 

He told the court at both protests Corrigan had called for peaceful action and discouraged violence.

 

However, Magistrate Michael Dakin said Corrigan had addressed the remaining crowd, yelling out anti-lockdown slogans which hindered police moving people on.

 

โ€œHow can you submit that when you turn up horseback nine days after receiving an infringement for a similar offence โ€ฆ and youโ€™re shouting anti-lockdown protest; how can you possibly say thatโ€™s not going to incite the crowd,โ€ Mr Dakin said.

 

Mr Dakin went to adjourn the case for a disputed facts hearing however Mr Baxter conceded Corrigan had gone to the protest with the purpose of protesting the lockdown and border.

 

Mr Baxter said he only mentioned the anti-violence factor to compare to other violent protesters around the country which Mr Dakin said was irrelevant to his consideration.

 

Mr Baxter said Corrigan arrived late, there was no violence and he had refrained from going to further protests.

 

Bur Mr Dakin questioned why the $7000 in fines Corrigan received from the first protest hadnโ€™t deterred him.

 

โ€œIn his mind the heavier handed the penalty, the more the government has something to hide,โ€ Mr Baxter said.

 

Mr Dakin said Mr Corrigan had acted โ€œincredibly selfishlyโ€ and had extremely high moral culpability and should be distinguished from people who had not been infringed nine-days earlier.

 

โ€œThis carries a penalty of six months imprisonment,โ€ Mr Dakin said.

 

โ€œHeโ€™s on notice.โ€

 

The case was adjourned to December 16 to allow Corrigan to get a sentencing assessment report.

 

Corrigan declined to comment when leaving the court.

The New York Post had reported on these allegations last October, noting that Hunterโ€™s wayward laptop contained emails verifying his fatherโ€™s knowledge of and involvement in Hunterโ€™s deals with interests in Ukraine and China.

 

Joe Biden had maintained that he knew nothing about the transactions and had never spoken to his son about them.

 

Accordingly, as the election loomed, Big Tech quashed the Postโ€™s articles as โ€œdisinformation.โ€ Politico itself had fed that movement by reporting on a letter signed by 50 top U.S. intelligence experts who argued the Postโ€™s reporting had โ€œall the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.โ€

 

Now, however, Politico says the Post nailed it.

 

Citing a new book on the Bidens by one of its staffers, Ben Schreckinger, Politico conceded that Schreckinger โ€œfinds evidence that some of the purported Hunter Biden laptop material is genuine, including two emails at the center of last Octoberโ€™s controversy.โ€

 

โ€œA person who had independent access to Hunter Bidenโ€™s emails confirmed he did receive a 2015 email from a Ukrainian businessman thanking him for the chance to meet Joe Biden,โ€ Politico noted.

 

Recall that two years ago, as Democrats moved to impeach then-President Donald Trump over his call with Ukraineโ€™s president, Republicans counterattacked by noting comments Joe Biden made while out of office and before he became a candidate.

 

Biden had publicly bragged about the 2016 firing of Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin at a Council of Foreign Relations event in 2018.
