Uncovered reports of cooperation between U.S.-based neo-nazi groups and the Ukrainian Guard, a neo-nazi group calling themselves the Azov Battalion, have revealed an international extremist conspiracy, with the U.S. government’s hands all over it.

While the US government focuses on jailing and sanctioning right-wing dissidents in the US using the help of tech companies, uncovered documents reveal the US indirectly sent taxpayer dollars to neo-nazi groups and Charlottesville rioters abroad.

This means that funding of the Azov Battalion specifically designed for countering Russian influence within Ukraine, indirectly helped train one of the most prominent groups prosecuted after the 2017 Charlottesville rally.

He added that the Russian military would “guarantee complete security” for those choosing to leave Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol through exits controlled by the Russian forces.

 

The military official estimated that Russian forces have so far evacuated some 187,000 people since Russia launched its military offensive in Ukraine on February, 24. Nearly 47,000 of those evacuated are children, Mizintsev claimed. He accused Kiev of stalling the evacuation effort, claiming that the Ukrainian government refused to facilitate the escape of some 7,000 foreigners from the conflict zone which he said were being “held hostage” by Ukranian militants.

 

"The Ukrainian side practically reacts neither to official nor to unofficial appeals, including those from international partners," Mizintsev said.

Giant spiders expected to drop from sky across the East Coast this spring

 

An invasive species of spider the size of a child's hand is expected to “colonize” the entire East Coast this spring by parachuting down from the sky, researchers at the University of Georgia announced last week.

 

Why it matters: Large Joro spiders — millions of them — are expected to begin “ballooning” up and down the East Coast as early as May. Researchers have determined that the spiders can tolerate cold weather, but are harmless to humans as their fangs are too small to break human skin.

 

The Joro spider is native to Japan but began infiltrating the U.S. in 2013, concentrating in the southeast and specifically Georgia, according to NPR. They fanned out across the state using their webs as tiny, terrifying parachutes to travel with the wind.

Threat level: Andy Davis, author of the study and a researcher at Georgia's Odum School of Ecology, tells Axios that it isn't certain how far north the spiders will travel, but they may make it as far north as D.C. or even Delaware.

 

“It looks like the Joro could probably survive throughout most of the Eastern Seaboard here, which is pretty sobering,” says Davis.

 

Other terrifying things to know about the Joro spider:

 

They are bright yellow, black, blue, and red and can grow up to 3 inches.

They likely traveled across the globe on shipping containers, similar to the Bubonic plague.

Their life cycle begins in early spring, but they get big in June and are often seen in July and August.

The heads of US intelligence agencies rejected allegations of bioweapons research and development taking place in Ukraine with Washington’s during Senate hearings on Thursday.

 

Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines told the Senate Intelligence Committee that Ukraine “operates a little over a dozen,” admitting that the US has “provided assistance” to the facilities at least in the past. Said “assistance” came only “in the context of biosafety”, she claimed, adding that it was “something we have done with a variety of different countries.”

 

“We do not assess that Ukraine is pursuing either biological weapons or nuclear weapons,” Haines said, dismissing the new allegations as “consistent with long-standing Russian efforts to accuse the United States of sponsoring bioweapons” and a “classic move by the Russians.”

 

A similar statement was produced during the hearings by the CIA Director and a former US ambassador to Moscow William Burns. The CIA boss flatly accused Russia of possessing biological and chemical weaponry itself, suggesting the new allegations came as a prelude for a “false-flag operations” with the illicit weaponry.

 

“Unlike Russia, which does have chemical and weapons and has used them, and does do biological weapons research and has for years, Ukraine has neither,” he claimed, adding that Russian “propaganda” gave the American spies “pretty serious concerns.”

 

The allegations of US-sponsored bioweapons research taking place in secretive laboratories scattered across Ukraine were raised Moscow attacked its neighbor in late February, following a seven-year standoff over Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk.

On Monday, the commander of the Russian radiological, chemical and biological defense force, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov said the secretive Ukrainian laboratories started hastily destroying the documents and materials they had been working on amid the offensive, including highly pathogenic bacterial and viral agents. Still, Moscow was able to obtain some documents related to the covert research, he claimed.

 

The official further elaborated on the matter on Thursday, alleging that the US has been directly involved in the research. The laboratories located in Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov have been allegedly working on a project dubbed UP-4, that explored prospects of using migratory birds for spreading pathogens, including the highly contagious H5N1 virus, Kirillov claimed. Some 145 species of birds were studied under the project, with two of them receiving special attention as their routes lay primarily over Russia’s territory.

 

Over the past few days, multiple top US officials commented on Moscow’s allegations, producing varying degrees of denial. Rather than usher in a post-racial, more unified society, the presidency of Barack Obama exacerbated America’s divisions in hot button areas of race, ethnicity, and identity. A number of the Democratic Party’s leading contenders to unseat President Trump in 2020 are already testing the political waters, and it is clear that their appeals to race and identity politics – echoing the Obama years – will play prominent roles in their campaigns.

 

Looking ahead to the 2020 election, Sen. Kamala Harris (Calif.); Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.); and Julián Castro, the Hispanic former HUD Secretary and mayor of San Antonio, Texas, are three of the first “people of color” minority Democrat candidates to declare their presidential candidacies. All three are dyed in the wool proponents of identity politics.

 

Meanwhile, the story of black actor Jussie Smollett, whose claims of being the victim of a violent, racist, anti-gay attack on the streets of Chicago are now being seriously questioned as a fake hate crime, is leading the news cycles. It is also pointing to a potential conspiracy involving Sen. Harris and Sen. Booker. An article in American Thinker on February 18 was one of the first to report on this possible collusion among Harris, Booker, and Smollett – the purpose of which was presumably to exploit the actor’s allegedly faked attack for the benefit of the two Democrats. Their strategy is to gain attention for S.3178, the anti-lynching law in the Congress that they are both promoting.

 

Kamala Harris

 

In a post on February 18, a “founding member” of politicalbullpen.com posits the Harris-Smollett collusion scenario:

 

He [Smollett] is at Kamala’s announcement party.

 

Kamala has anti-lynching legislation that has stalled in Congress.

 

She only has 3 bills that have became law and all are BS symbolic crap.

 

All of a sudden, her gay black friend has a lynching incident.

 

Who knows when the last time something like this has ACTUALLY happened, especially in Chicago.

 

Kamala puts out a tweet saying this is a “modern day lynching” and Congress needs to act.

 

She doesn’t mention HER legislation so it doesn’t appear too obvious.

 

Less than 1 hour later, Cory Booker tweets out about this “modern day lynching” using that exact phrase and says Congress needs to act.

 

The use of fake hate crimes has a long politically-driven history. On February 18, Jamie Glasov, editor of Front Page Magazine, republished his November 2016 article on the phenomenon under a new title, “Why Jussie Smollett Lied – And All The ‘Hate-Crime’ Victims Who Weren’t; Totalitarian movements know how to portray themselves in order to gain power.”

The Hill documented what Cory Booker is up to in a story on February 18, “Booker seeks dialogue about race as he kicks off 2020 campaign.” Booker officially declared his candidacy on February 1, and made a big deal that it was the first day of Black History Month. Macron comments on Ukraine’s EU membership bid

 

The French president has voiced his opposition to Kiev’s EU membership aspirations amid the ongoing conflict with Russia

 

Emmanuel Macron has opposed giving any consideration at present to Ukraine’s European Union membership bid. The French president was grilled by reporters on the issue ahead of an EU summit at Versailles on Thursday.

 

“Can we open an accession procedure for a country at war? I don’t think so,” he stated.

 

Macron said the EU should send a “strong signal” of solidarity to Ukraine and to the Ukrainians, but cautioned that, “at the same time, we must be vigilant.” Three nations – Georgia and Moldova, along with Ukraine – have recently voiced their desire for membership.

 

Joining the EU has for decades been one of the main talking points for pro-West Ukrainian politicians, yet little to no actual progress has been achieved along that path. Kiev has renewed its push for membership amid the Russian offensive launched against the country in late February.

 

Some EU nations want to postpone membership for Ukraine – reports

 

Moscow has since outlined its goals to “denazify” and “demilitarize” the country, claiming it was the only option left to protect the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which split from Kiev back in 2014, following the Maidan events. Ukraine has denied harboring plans to reconquer the republics, branding the invasion “unprovoked.”

 

Last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky inked a formal EU membership request, calling on the bloc to accept his country as soon as possible. He reinforced his plea in a speech delivered in the European Parliament, during which he urged the 27 member states to show they were “indeed Europeans.”

 

“Prove that you are with us. Prove that you will not let us go. Prove that you are indeed Europeans and then life will win over death and light will win over darkness,” Zelensky told MEPs, eliciting a standing ovation.

 

Kiev’s bid received support from a number of Eastern European member states, with the leaders of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic penning an open letter that urged the Council of Europe to “conduct steps to immediately grant Ukraine EU candidate country status and open the process of negotiations.”

It could help Booker stand out in an otherwise crowded Democratic primary field, especially in South Carolina, a crucial early-primary state where the majority of the Democratic electorate is black.

 

In a telling admission, another expert quoted by The Hill, Basil Smikle, a Democratic strategist and former executive director of the New York State Democratic Party, said that – in contrast – President Obama “belonged to a cohort of black politicians whose campaigns and policies were race neutral.”

 

The Hill also quoted this significant comment by Smikle:

 

“He [Obama] made a tacit agreement with voters to not engage race, but the killing of Trayvon Martin, events in Ferguson, Dallas and Baltimore, put race front and center” [emphasis added].

 

The high-profile deaths of unarmed black men and teenagers alluded to above involved the killing of Trayvon Martin at the hands of “white Hispanic” George Zimmerman in Flordia in 2012, the killing of Michael Brown by Officer Darrel Wilson in Ferguson, Mo. in 2014, and the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody in Baltimore in 2015. All of these events quickly morphed into fake or wildly exaggerated memes that were then used to advance divisive political agendas for the benefit of leftist politicians. Notwithstanding the facts of the matter, the desired results were achieved – the top news story of 2014 according to the Associated Press was “The police killings of unarmed blacks.”

 

The long-standing but slowly healing wounds resulting from the legacies of slavery, which ended in the 1860s, and segregationist Jim Crow laws in the South, which ended in the 1960s, were ripped open again by the left’s exploitation of the aforementioned violent events during the latter years of Obama’s Administration. Keep in mind how Obama “assertively inserted himself into the controversy surrounding the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin” (as the Washington Post put it), one month after Martin’s death, when he said during a high-profile appearance in the White House Rose Garden “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”

Julián Castro

 

For his part, Julián Castro, the third minority Democrat candidate to declare for 2020, is in the thick of racialist identity politics, as he always has been. On February 4, Breitbart published a detailed 11,200 word examination of Castro’s career, titled “Identity Politics and Class Warfare Define Julián Castro 2020 Campaign.”

 

It is here, in identity politics with racial tinges and leftist grassroots organizing, where Castro feels most at home. . . as his mother was an early leader in hard-left organizations like La Raza.

 

“He is absolutely an extreme leftist,” James Dickey, the chairman of the Texas Republican Party, told Breitbart News radio on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel. . . “That’s the background his mother comes from, and that is what he has been and done consistently in every chance he’s gotten the opportunity to and in his announcement for running for the presidency. That’s what he said he would do.”

 

“Their [Julián Castro’s and his brother, Rep. Joaquin Castro’s (D-TX)] mother was very, very active, not just as you said in La Raza, but actually in Chicano separatist movements,” Dickey added. . . “That really doesn’t at all respect our heritage or our country or the incredible melting pot that has been the United States and the welcoming environment that we have been for immigrants for a century or more.”

 

Dickey is correct that Castro’s mother, Maria del Rosario Castro, or Rosie Castro, was a major leftist organizer who co-founded La Raza Unida, an extremist third party separatist group in the 1970s. La Raza Unida literally translates to “The Race United,” and the group sought to create a new country in the American Southwest called Aztlan. Breitbart News has run a number of pieces over the years on this group and the Castro family’s connections to it, but perhaps the most interesting thing about Castro’s presidential campaign launch is that he did not shy away from this radical upbringing; he embraced it.

 

As I reported in an analysis of Castro on January 15, one half of his presidential campaign announcement speech on January 12, 2019 in San Antonio was delivered in Spanish.

 

Immediately after news of the purported attack on Smollett, Castro issued a variety of tweets, including this one on January 29:

A protest in El Paso

 

Connecting the dots on what’s happenning here leads us to a not unrelated article in the Washington Examiner on February 18, “Protesters take over Border Patrol museum, deface pictures of fallen agents.” The protesters wore masks and meant business.

 

Dozens of demonstrators occupied and vandalized a privately owned U.S. Border Patrol museum near El Paso, Texas over the weekend, according to the site’s top official.

 

Museum director David Ham told the Washington Examiner his staff and guests worried for their safety Saturday when a group of about 50 rowdy protesters entered the facility, defaced property, and refused to leave the grounds.

 

“Say it loud, say it clear, Border Patrol kills!” group members standing inside and outside the facility yelled.

 

The group, which calls itself Tornillo: The Occupation, livestreamed the protest.

 

The money quote in the article about the violent El Paso protest is this:

 

One of the protest organizers, Elizabeth Vega, was previously involved in demonstrations in Ferguson, Mo., following the police shooting of Michael Brown in 2014.

 

Vega, whose Twitter account describes her as a “Chicana poet, mother, grandmother community artist, activist,” manages to get around. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported on April 3, 2018:

 

Prominent St. Louis activist Elizabeth Vega was reported to be among several people arrested Tuesday at a protest in Memphis.

 

Vega was identified by The Guardian as one of eight people taken into custody during a demonstration against immigration detention outside the Memphis jail.

 

Protesters have been gathering in the city to mark the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination, which is Wednesday. King was fatally shot at a Memphis hotel.

J6 Committee Seeks To Criminalize Republican Fundraising

If crying ‘rigged election’ were a crime, the entire Democrat Party and much of the media establishment would be in prison.

 

After spying on the communications of members of Congress, seizing bank records of Americans engaged in peaceful protest, fabricating evidence against political opponents, and threatening freedom of the press, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked Jan. 6 Committee has told media allies it will try to criminalize the act of Republicans raising funds for safeguarding elections.

 

The latest abuse of power from the norm-breaking committee was revealed earlier this week in a one-sided report from the committee’s propaganda arm at The Washington Post.

 

The committee, composed exclusively of Democrat-appointed members, is seeking access to the private financial records of its political opponents and the donors who support them, as part of an unprecedented effort to claim that fundraising in support of election integrity may constitute wire fraud:

 

Officials with the committee said the day’s events cannot be viewed in a vacuum — and argued that the fundraising and political appeals that happened in the months leading up to Jan. 6, 2021, are a reason the pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol.“These people knew the claims they were making about the election were false but still sent emails anyways because it was an effective way to raise money,” a person familiar with the investigation said.

 

There are several major problems with this latest scheme from the committee to redefine legitimate election-integrity concerns as knowingly false claims of stolen elections. First, it is yet another brazen assault on the First Amendment rights of speech and political assembly. Second, it was not, in fact, false to say that the 2020 election was riddled with problems.

 

On the contrary, it is a conspiracy theory to say it didn’t have major problems, given the exorbitantly funded, widespread, and coordinated takeover of government election offices by Mark Zuckerberg-funded liberal groups to run Democrat get-out-the-vote operations. Hundreds of last-minute changes to election laws and procedures were pushed through — sometimes constitutionally, sometimes not — to intentionally flood the zone with tens of millions of mail-in ballots.

 

That’s to say nothing of a press that engaged in blatant propaganda for its political allies and against its political foes, and tech companies that meddled throughout the 2020 election with algorithmic manipulation, the deplatforming of the most effective conservative communicators, and Democrat-led censorship of stories harmful to political allies.

Democrats Fundraised Off the Russia Hoax

Most outlandishly, the Democratic National Committee itself was responsible for the wild conspiracy theory that Donald Trump had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election, a lie many on the left peddled for years. And in 2018, the DNC even raised money off of the news that it filed a lawsuit against Trump and Russia for supposedly colluding to steal the 2016 election.

 

“The Democratic National Committee, in a lawsuit filed Friday, blamed the party’s fundraising woes during the 2016 presidential race on an nefarious plot, engineered by the Trump campaign, Russian officials and WikiLeaks, to disrupt the election,” said an April 2018 Associated Press report.

 

In fact, the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign had secretly funded the operation to develop the lie that the Trump campaign had engineered such a plot.

 

“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC Chair Tom Perez falsely asserted about the DNC-funded hoax. “This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency.”

 

The damage to the country and even the world caused by that false and damaging stolen-election claim — which, again, was the result of a plot, secretly funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign — was far greater than the one-day riot at the Capitol, or even the months-long Democrat riots during 2020 that destroyed cities, businesses, homes, monuments, and peace. Yet the Pelosi committee is only investigating the January riot and not the countless other riots that targeted Americans who are not members of Congress.

Democrats Cry ‘Rigged Election!’ All the Time

It’s not the only time that Democrats raised money off of false claims of stolen elections. They even did it in 2020 — the time period in which they’re seeking to criminalize the raising of funds to fight back against their well-funded operation to decrease election security.

 

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee head Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y., for example, sent multiple emails falsely claiming that Trump was “rigging” the 2020 election. A 2020 email from Maloney had the subject line, “Trump is RIGGING the Election.”

 

A similar email distributed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC claimed that Trump was “refus[ing] to have a ‘free and fair election.”

 

Maloney claimed in another email that Trump wanted to “RIG ELECTIONS FOR A DECADE,” (capitalization his). Former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, D-Fla., asked potential donors to “✎ SIGN-ON: Stop Trump from RIGGING elections.”

 

Maloney even claimed that debates were “RIGGED for Trump.”

 

Democrat Super PAC American Bridge promulgated a conspiracy theory that was popular among the party: “Donald Trump is making his motives crystal clear. He will undermine the United States Postal Service to rig this election.“

 

Even Pelosi got in on the action. Using recent news of the failure of a Democrat-run county in Georgia to properly administer a primary election, Pelosi claimed Republicans were engaged in “voter suppression.”

 

A few months later, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee used a Rachel Maddow report that mixed the Post Office conspiracy theory with a view that election security would undermine Democrat chances for victory, asserting “GOP returns to voter suppression playbook as November looms.”

 

The DSCC even had former President Barack Obama put out a fundraising appeal based on the claim that the GOP was engaged in widespread efforts “to rig elections.”

 

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee asserted Republicans were “rigging the voting laws” by “attempting to reinstate a voter photo ID law.” The same group claimed that the Kentucky GOP “just tried to rig Mitch McConnell’s re-election,” by having voter ID. It even said, “The GOP just rigged voting laws in a target state,” when Iowa passed voter ID laws. Incidentally, 80 percent of Americans support voter ID.

 

In another fundraising pitch, the Democratic Governors Association falsely claimed that cleaning up voter rolls to remove ineligible voters was a “voter suppression” tactic. Stacey Abrams sent a similar false fundraising email.

 

The Progressive Turnout Project accused Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of “TREASON!” and said he was “caught red-handed,” and “is guilty.” The fundraising appeal asked for help in sending McConnell to jail. The email said:

 

Mitch McConnell is Trump’s personal guardian in the Senate. He is openly breaking the law by violating his oath and his Constitutional duties. He’s practically taunting Democrats to do something about it.

 

In 2018, the DCCC sent out a fundraising email falsely claiming that Trump had fired Robert Mueller, the special counsel purportedly investigating the false claim that Trump stole the 2016 election by colluding with Russia.

If claiming elections were stolen were a crime, the entire Democrat Party and much of the media establishment would be in prison. After all, the last time the Democrats completely accepted a presidential election they lost was 1988.

 

But what the Democrats on the J6 Committee are doing is far worse than mere hypocrisy. This is not about how they always do what they then claim is beyond the pale when Republicans do something similar.

 

The real issue is that Democrats believe that elections they win are valid, and elections they lose are not. The only consistency in their actions and outcry is their ever-present belief that they are entitled to power.

 

That’s why there are no principles at stake for the J6 Committee. Getting rid of the pesky limits on their power is the only thing on the line, and they’ll do whatever they can to remove those, including criminalizing their political opponents for making factual statements about rigged elections.

The Biden administration has continued to deny that the U.S. had any involvement with chemical weapons labs in Ukraine, yet the U.S. Under Secretary of State confirmed their existence.

 

This comes as China claims it’s concerned about an alleged biological weapons development program in Ukraine. On Thursday, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian echoed Russian allegations of a U.S.-run chemical and biological warfare laboratory in Ukraine. He called for its immediate inspection.

 

“We urge the U.S., once again, to fulfill its international obligations, make comprehensive clarifications on its domestic and foreign biological military activities, accept multilateral verification, and complete the destruction of its stockpile of chemical weapons as soon as possible,” Lijian stated.

 

While the Pentagon has rejected those allegations, Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland confirmed the existence during a hearing on Capitol Hill just days ago while referring to them as biological research facilities.

 

“Ukraine has biological research facilities which we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of,” she explained. “So we are working with Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach.”

A New York Times reporter was caught admitting the coverage of the January 6 protest was over exaggerated. During an undercover Project Veritas video released on Wednesday, New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg was captured criticizing the left’s reaction to the Capitol Hill protests and even mocking some of his colleagues who were “emotionally scarred.”

 

In the video, Rosenberg is seen privately ranting about the news establishment’s continuous coverage of the event while calling it “overblown in its reliance on fear and trauma.” He commented that he “was so over it at this point.” Rosenberg witnessed the protests first hand, admitting there were FBI informants among the people who attacked the capitol.

 

The undercover conversation covered how journalists pitched January 6 pieces for the New York Times, revealing they were obligated to keep up the polarizing narrative between left and right wing politics. The reporter confessed the capitol protests was not an organized event despite what he and left wing media outlets led the public to believe.

 

“The left’s reaction to it (January 6), in some places, was so over the top,” he stated. “It was like me and two other colleagues who were there, who were outside, and we were just having fun…we were not in any danger.”

 

As the conversation progressed, Rosenberg spoke on the divide between reporters at the left leaning paper, saying he’s not impressed with the writing quality of his some of colleagues. He also elaborated how ivy league schools and liberal ideas have seeped into the work of journalists, acknowledging the woke generation is getting worse.

 

Furthermore, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe later confronted Rosenberg about his remarks to which Rosenberg replied he “absolutely stands by his comments.”

Smartmatic sued Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Fox News, Lou Dobbs, Judge Jeanine Pirro, and Mario Bartiromo, claiming the defendants “engaged in a conspiracy to spread disinformation about Smartmatic” following the 2020 election.

 

Forbes reported that though the judge dismissed the suit against Powell, “New York Supreme Court Justice David B. Cohen ruled Smartmatic’s $2.7 billion lawsuit against Fox News can move forward—as well as its claims against anchors Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo—after Smartmatic sued them in February 2021.”

 

Fox News released a statement after the ruling noting it was “grateful” the court dismissed the charges against Pirro but would “immediately” appeal the decision, as well as file a counterclaim “to prevent the full-blown assault on the First Amendment which stands in stark contrast to the highest tradition of American journalism.”

 

After the decision, Defending the Republic, a non-profit organization founded by Powell, released the following statement:

 

“New York Court dismisses Smartmatic’s 2.7 billion dollar lawsuit against Sidney Powell. The court held it had no jurisdiction over Ms. Powell. It also dismissed Smartmatic’s suit against Fox host Jeanine Pirro.”

 

The release added this personal message from Powell: “The Court correctly analyzed and followed the law. All of the cases filed against me and Defending the Republic should be dismissed.”

Following a scandal in Harris Country, Texas, involving approximately 10,000 uncounted votes, authorities in Bexar County confirmed that more than 1,900 mail ballots cast in the March 1 primary were rejected for not complying to new voting guidelines.

 

The Texas state legislature passed a bill last year to safeguard the integrity of statewide elections. The bill imposes new voting guidelines, particularly for mail-in balloting.

 

Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacquelyn Callanen said that about 4,180 mail ballots were accepted and 1,929 were rejected for not meeting the requirements under the new voting law.

 

Noting the surprisingly high number, Callanen told KSAT, “We’ve never seen it in those numbers.”

 

The new law, SB 1, requires voters to write the ID number associated with their registration or the last four digits of their Social Security number on a mail ballot envelope.

WHO Told Ukraine To Destroy 'High-Threat Pathogens' In Labs To Prevent Disease Spread

 

The World Health Organization advised Ukraine to destroy 'high-threat pathogens' in the country's public health laboratories in order to prevent "any potential spills" that might infect the population during the Russian invasion, Reuters reports.

 

"As part of this work, WHO has strongly recommended to the Ministry of Health in Ukraine and other responsible bodies to destroy high-threat pathogens to prevent any potential spills," said the UN agency.

 

The report comes after a tense back-and-forth between US and Russian officials over "dangerous" biolabs in the country - with Russia, and then China, accusing the US military of involvement in Ukraine's biolabs.

 

On Wednesday, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova repeated a longstanding claim that the United States operates a biowarfare lab in Ukraine, an accusation that has been repeatedly denied by Washington and Kyiv.

 

Zakharova said that documents unearthed by Russian forces in Ukraine showed "an emergency attempt to erase evidence of military biological programmes" by destroying lab samples. -Reuters

 

The US has denied the allegations - issuing (among other things) a Thursday statement that "The United States does not have chemical or biological weapons labs in Ukraine," adding that America "does not develop or possess chemical and biological weapons anywhere."

On Tuesday, US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged that Ukraine "has biological research facilities, which, in fact, we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of. So we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach."

 

Nuland's answer made clear that whatever is inside Ukraine's biolabs is a serious concern, however it should be noted that there's no public evidence of bioweapons, nor did the WHO statement make reference to biowarfare - which is a separate issue from whether the laboratories contained, or contain, dangerous pathogens which could be used in a bioweapon.

Trump’s plane, loaned to him by a donor, was flying from New Orleans home to Florida on Saturday night.

 

The plane had traveled around 75 miles, reaching an altitude of about 28,000 feet, before being forced to turn around after one of its engines failed, The Washington Post and Politico reported.

 

The private plane, a Dassault Falcon 900, belonged to a donor at the event. It also had Secret Service members on board, along with other staff and Trump advisers.

 

In the audio clip, a female air traffic control officer tells the pilot: ‘Try to maintain 2,000. They said there was a fog blowing in so I’m not sure how it looks for the visual but the airport is off to your right.’

 

A male voice adds: ‘Down to 2,000 and we do have airport for 30 Foxtrot.’

 

The pilot says: ‘Copy that.’

 

A male voice says: ‘11308 runway 11 clear to land.’

 

‘Clear to land 113 Foxtrot,’ another voice adds.

 

After the plane landed back in New Orleans, air traffic control adds: ‘Just a heads up 5352 that there will be vehicles following you down the runway.’

 

The pilot replies: ‘Appreciate it.’

 

Once Trump was back on the ground, the RNC reportedly found the former president another plane that belonged to a different donor for him to use to get back to Mar-a-Lago.

 

The former president landed in Florida around 3 a.m.

 

Hours after news broke, Trump’s PAC emailed supporters asking them for funds to build a new plane.

 

‘I have a very important update on my plane, but I need to trust that you won’t share it with anyone,’ wrote Trump in the email.

 

‘Do you remember Trump Force One?’ the email asks. ‘Before becoming the greatest President of all time, I traveled the Country in my plane, known as Trump Force One. I have a very important update on my plane, but I need to trust that you won’t share it with anyone: my team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One.’

 

The email then gives donors the option to ‘see Trump Force One’ by clicking on a hyperlink, which takes them to a page where they can donate between $5 and $2,000 to the Save America JFC PAC.

 

Earlier on Saturday night, Trump had given a wide-ranging speech, where he spoke on a range of topics as he struck an aggressive tone on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
