NYPD and MTA give different accounts of how tragedy occurred

A straphanger died Thursday after he was dragged along a Brooklyn subway platform by a train and thrown onto the tracks, police and MTA officials said — but exactly how the train snagged the man wasn’t clear.

More than 12 hours after the incident, MTA and NYPD officials offered conflicting accounts of the tragedy, which happened around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday when the man exited a Q train at the Avenue M station in Midwood.

Police said the man’s pants and possibly his foot got stuck in a train door.

But NYC Transit president Richard Davey said a preliminary investigation found the man was not stuck in the door. Davey said the man became caught between the train and the platform, but was not sure how he was dragged.

Police said the departing train dragged the man across the platform before he was thrown onto the tracks — just as another train came into the station.

The other train’s operator managed to stop the train before hitting the mortally injured straphanger.

Medics rushed the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he died early Thursday, according to the NYPD.

“It was a tragic accident last night, our hearts go out the victim and his loved ones,” Davey said during a news conference at the station where the man was dragged. “We’re also here to find out what happened and make sure it never happens again.”

Cameras on the platforms at the Avenue M station that were working at the time of the incident, Davey said.

Police left open the possibility that the man was not dragged by the train’s door, but said preliminary interviews with witnesses found he was.

The death disrupted Q train service between the Kings Highway and Prospect Park stations until 3:23 a.m., Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials said.

Subway conductors — who work from booths in middle of trains and operate the doors — use indicator lights to ensure doors are fully closed before they depart a station. Conductors are also required to stick their heads out of cab windows and look out for anyone who could be struck or dragged by a train as it rolls out of a station.

The train that dragged the victim was made up of the oldest subway cars in the MTA’s fleet. The cars, dubbed R46s, date to the late 1970s — and subway crews and supervisors told the Daily News the trains’ doors are less reliable than ones on newer models.

A similar tragedy occurred in February 2019, when a man died after he was dragged 20 feet into a tunnel by a No. 7 train as it departed Grand Central Terminal.

A-list actor Samuel L. Jackson was also dragged by a subway train in 1988 after his foot got caught in a door while the train departed a station.

The train’s operator stopped the train before Jackson was pulled off the platform, but the actor — who at the time was not yet a household name — injured his knee and suffered ligament damage. He was later awarded $540,000 in a lawsuit against the MTA.

MTA officials plan to install security gates — like those in place on the JFK AirTrain — on platforms at three stations in an effort to keep people from falling onto the tracks or being dragged by trains. Officials released a report earlier this year that found a majority of the city’s subway platforms cannot fit those kinds of gates.

Throwing yourself into anything unprepared/unplanned is possibly allowing more mistakes than necessary though. If you can catch a lot before making them, all the better. But this takes extra effort and ain't foolproof, so I think people get turned off and decide to wing it. A large police presence from the state and neighboring suburban Chicago departments was seen along the parade route.

Numerous law enforcement officers are responding and have secured a perimeter around downtown Highland Park."

Independence Day parades and events across the north suburbs were canceled following the shooting.

Larry Bloom, who was in the area when shots began, said at first spectators thought the "popping" sound was part of the parade.

"You heard like a 'pop, pop, pop,' and I think everybody kinda thought maybe it was a display on one of the floats and then it just opened up," Bloom said.

"I was screaming and people were screaming," Bloom said. "They were panicking and and they were just scattering and I, you know, we didn't know. You know, it was right on top of us."

The public is being asked to avoid downtown Highland Park as police continue to respond to the shooting "in the area of the Independence Day parade route," the Lake County Sheriff posted on Twitter.

"STAY OUT OF THE AREA - allow law-enforcement and first responders to do their work," the sheriff posted.

"The Illinois State Police is currently assisting Highland Park PD with an active shoot situation that occurred at the Highland Park Parade," police tweeted. "The public is advised to avoid the area of Central Ave and 2nd St. in Highland Park."

I don’t know who’s making the decisions at TS, but you’re right, it doesn’t look good. They suspended Dr Sherri Tenpenny’s account a few weeks ago for speaking out against the vaccines. I was prepared then to delete my account (very small potatoes I am though), but then they went back and restored her account so I stayed on. We lost so much.

 

We will never know how bad it is to have lost so many fathers, uncles, grandfathers, brothers, friends, heroes, mentors, and leaders. I can tell you though, seeing how my siblings grew up with my father around (we lost him when I was young) is so much better than not having him. There are certain certain wisdoms, morals, love, and responsibilities that a father passes on to his children. Every war out there we lost a bit of our identity as a people. Fathers carried legacies. Fathers carried history. Fathers carried the future. Fathers paved ways. But when they were removed, we lost it all.

 

I hope this day and age serves as a lesson to most and a reminder to some on why we have the laws we have. Why we have the religious beliefs we have. Why we place our faith in God. Why we exist. Why we fight to the death to protect those we love. Why we are who we are, and what caused us to be. Frens, if your father, grandfather, uncles are still alive, please, give them a hug and tell them you love them. They've filled a huge hole in our hearts, minds, and souls that we don't realize exists.

Lt. Gen. B. Chance Saltzman has been nominated to be U.S. Space Force’s next Chief of Space Operations.

Saltzman will step into the position currently held by Gen. John W. “Jay” Raymond, who has led the Space Force since its establishment in December 2019. China tried to build a network of informants inside the Federal Reserve system, at one point threatening to imprison a Fed economist during a trip to Shanghai unless he agreed to provide nonpublic economic data, a congressional investigation found.

 

The investigation by Republican staff members of the Senate’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs found that over a decade Fed employees were offered contracts with Chinese talent recruitment programs, which often include cash payments, and asked to provide information on the U.S. economy, interest rate changes and policies, according to a report of the findings released on Tuesday.

 

In the case of the economist, the report said, Chinese officials in 2019 detained and tried to coerce him to share data and information on U.S. government policies, including on tariffs while the U.S. and China were in the midst of a trade war.

 

The report doesn’t say whether any sensitive information was compromised. Access to such information could provide valuable insights given the Fed’s extensive analysis of U.S. economic activity, its oversight of the U.S. financial system, and the setting of interest-rate policy.

 

The Republican-led investigation said the Fed failed to mount an adequate response. The report’s findings show “a sustained effort by China, over more than a decade, to gain influence over the Federal Reserve and a failure by the Federal Reserve to combat this threat effectively.”

 

Fed Chairman Jerome Powell strongly disputed the report’s findings and called its characterizations of some employees unfair. “Because we understand that some actors aim to exploit any vulnerabilities, our processes, controls, and technology are robust and updated regularly. We respectfully reject any suggestions to the contrary,” he wrote in a letter to Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio, the committee’s top Republican.

 

Mr. Powell detailed the central bank’s information security and background screening protocols, including reviews of foreign travel and personal contacts for staff who have access to restricted information. “We take seriously any violations of these robust information security policies,” he wrote.

China has mounted what U.S. counterintelligence officials say is among the broadest campaigns to obtain U.S. government information and proprietary business secrets and scientific and technology research. In doing so, it has frequently used talent-recruitment programs, which often include lucrative appointments at Chinese research institutes and which U.S. counterintelligence officials say offer an incentive to steal secrets.

 

China criticized the report, with a Chinese embassy spokesman in Washington citing the “Cold War zero-sum thinking” of some members of Congress. “The cooperation between China and the U.S. in economic, financial and other fields is open and aboveboard, which has played an important role in enhancing mutual understanding and mutual trust between the two countries,” said the spokesman, Liu Pengyu.

 

The congressional Republican report draws heavily from a separate internal Fed investigation conducted by the central bank beginning in 2015. The Fed, the congressional report said, began its probe after an unspecified outside entity warned that foreign adversaries had tried to build relationships with Fed researchers typically by offering “compensated contractual relationships.”

 

The Fed investigation identified 13 people of interest, dubbed the “P-Network” by internal investigators, who were employed at eight of the 12 regional Fed banks, the report said.

A former employee of the Fed or one of its regional banks, identified as “Z,” attempted to recruit the network’s members, according to the report. That person maintained ties to Chinese government-backed talent recruitment programs and “expressed a desire to maintain an inside information sharing relationship” with Fed employees, the report said.

 

The Fed investigation found that one economist in the Fed system, who was later fired for violating central bank rules, had been close to “Z,” the report said.

 

Since providing its “P-Network” findings to Congress in December 2020, the Fed now disputes many results of its inquiry, the report said. The Fed raised concerns about the accuracy of its findings this month and cannot locate some of the investigative materials, the report said.

 

In his letter to Mr. Portman, Mr. Powell said the Fed would be concerned about “any supportable allegation of wrongdoing, whatever the source. In contrast, we are deeply troubled by what we believe to be the report’s unfair, unsubstantiated, and unverified insinuations about particular staff members.”

 

“I am concerned by the threat to the Fed,” Mr. Portman said in a statement. He said he hopes the investigation “wakes the Fed up to the broad threat from China to our monetary policy. The risk is clear.”

 

The Fed maintains channels to central banks around the world, and inside the Fed system many researchers have previous work experience at foreign central banks and universities. The international appeal of the U.S. central bank is seen by many economists as one of its strengths in fostering excellence in research.

 

After Congress began its investigation, the Fed began banning officials from accepting compensation from certain countries including China, the report said. The policies, however, don’t require employees to disclose membership in talent recruitment plans, the report said. Despite known ties to talent plans or relationships with members, committee aides said that four of the five people cited in their report retain access to confidential Fed information.

 

The congressional report details multiple instances involving “P-Network” individuals including one who gave economic modeling code to a Chinese university with ties to the People’s Bank of China, the report said.

 

Another attempted to transfer large volumes of data from the Fed to an external site on at least two occasions, the report said. This person had also previously received a request from a person linked to the Chinese government for nonpublic information on three Fed bank presidents’ views on rate increases, the report said.

 

A committee aide said he didn’t know if Chinese government officials received any of the information.

 

In his letter, Mr. Powell said the central bank posts its most important economic models publicly online to better engage with other professionals about its analysis. He said that Fed systems monitor for unauthorized transfers of data and information.

 

The most extreme example cited in the report involved the Fed economist who traveled to Shanghai in 2019 after the U.S. and China had levied tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars of goods. Chinese officials detained the economist on four occasions during the trip, the report said.

 

The economist later reported to the bank that Chinese officials initially approached him at his hotel room “making the atmosphere frightening” and told him that they had been monitoring his phone conversations, including those involving a previous divorce, the report said.

 

The Chinese officials told the Fed employee that he must “share sensitive, nonpublic economic data to which he has access” and that he must “advise senior [Chinese] government officials on sensitive economic issues, including trade tariffs” and confidential information, according to the report. The officials also threatened to imprison him and destroy his life if he didn’t sign a letter promising not to mention the encounters to his family, the report said.

 

Fed officials told committee staff that they reported the incident to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and to the State Department. In July 2019, the Fed issued a general warning to all economists about travel to China, the report said. The FBI declined to comment; the State Department didn’t return a request for comment.

What I was getting at had to do with the physical development of the embryo into a fetus.

First you need pain receptor cells.

Then you need nerves to relay that stimuli.

Then you need a central nervous system, or at least a spinal column, to relay those signals to.

Then you need a brain connected to that system that can process the pain signals.

 

That's around 10-12 weeks, assuming you can pinpoint the nut that caused the baby. Sometimes you're at a guesstimate.

 

I don't hate the Mississippi law, but I prefer the Florida/Virginia 15-week standard because people don't know shit and are less than honest about big things.

Former President Donald Trump has asked a federal court to rule that he has absolute immunity from civil suits related to the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

 

In a brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Wednesday, Trump's lawyers asked the court to reverse Judge Amit Mehta's February ruling that denied a motion to dismiss lawsuits related to the Capitol riot. They said in the brief that Trump's speech at a "Stop the Steal" rally on Jan. 6 falls within the scope of speech protected by presidential absolute immunity. The former president is facing several lawsuits filed by congressional lawmakers and Capitol Police officers related to his actions on Jan. 6.

 

"President Trump is shielded by absolute presidential immunity because his statements were on matters of public concern," his attorneys argued in the brief. "No amount of hyperbole about the violence of January 6, 2021, provides a basis for this Court to carve out an exception to the constitutional separation of powers."

 

Mehta ruled in February that Trump's Jan. 6 speech at the Ellipse near the South Lawn of the White House, as the 2020 election was being certified by Congress, was likely “words of incitement not protected by the First Amendment."

 

Trump's legal team argued in Wednesday's filing that impeachment is the only means of punishing a president for abuse and that attempts by Democrats and others to sue Trump after he emerged victorious in his impeachment trial are tantamount to "harassment."

Pennsylvania's first court hearing begins for 800 mail-in votes

 

A Pennsylvania court hearing Thursday will address the fate of some 800 mail-in spring primary votes that three Republican-majority county election boards threw out over the lack of handwritten dates on their outside envelopes.

 

The dates aren't needed to show the ballots were mailed in time — county workers must separately verify that they were received by the time polls closed on election day — but are required by Pennsylvania election law for mail-in ballots being tallied by county election officials.

 

The lawsuit was filed this month against Berks, Fayette and Lancaster counties by the Pennsylvania Department of State asks Commonwealth Court to force the counties to add those votes to their final counts.

 

A document filed with the court Tuesday showed the decision to not count the votes involved more Democratic votes than Republican. Berks County threw out 507 Democratic and 138 Republican ballots, Fayette 45 Democratic and six Republican, and Lancaster 46 Democratic and 38 Republican.

 

The state Supreme Court ruled in 2020 that the date mandate did not apply for that fall's election only. This year, failed GOP Senate candidate David McCormick sought to have ballots without the date counted and won a court order that counties tally them up separately, but he withdrew his lawsuit and conceded the race. In May, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said handwritten dates on exterior envelopes were not required in a 2021 Lehigh County judicial election.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with the New York Postpublished Tuesday he hoped to see leftist American counterpart Joe Biden visit his country, but he did not believe Biden had control over his own travel itinerary.

 

Asked if he was “hopeful” Biden would appear in Kyiv, Zelensky said, “I don’t know, that is his choice. I mean, not even his choice, it’s his security, it’s their choice.”

 

Zelensky has repeatedly invited Biden to Ukraine, but Biden has ignored the requests. Biden publicly snubbed multiple requests by Zelensky to meet to discuss a potential invasion last year, opting instead to meet with Russian strongman Vladimir Putin.

 

Zelensky admitted in the interview, with tabloid fixture Piers Morgan, that he had had exchanges with Biden that were less than “diplomatic” and said that no help from the United States would be enough for Ukraine until the latest round of invasion by Russia – which first invaded and colonized parts of the country in 2014 – was over.

 

“I can tell you that the help would not be sufficient until the war is over, and until we win,” Zelensky said.

 

The Biden administration has given Ukraine upwards of $7 billion in American taxpayers’ dollars to Ukraine since Putin announced a full-scale invasion of the country, including bombing the capital Kyiv, in February.

 

Asked to respond to Americans concerned that Biden is spending too much to protect Ukraine while ignoring the myriad economic and social issues at home that have worsened under his presidency,Zelensky dismissed the idea that Americans have problems that require more of Biden’s attention than Ukraine’s.

 

“As long as we are resisting it [the invasion], the integrity of the United States will continue, therefore we are giving our lives for your values and the joint security of the world,” Zelensky said. “Therefore, inflation is nothing, [Chinese coronavirus] is nothing. Who is thinking about inflation? These things are secondary.”

 

The escalation of the war this year followed two major actions by Biden appearing to greenlight escalation of aggression by Russia: the lifting of Trump-era sanctions on the Nordstream 2 pipeline project – which would have greatly cemented Russia’s stranglehold on the European natural gas market if the invasion had not halted its completion – and a speech in January in which Biden said that America would not object to a “minor incursion” into Ukraine.

 

“Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do, et cetera,” Biden told reporters.

 

“We want to remind the great powers that there are no minor incursions and small nations,” Zelensky responded at the time.

 

Zelensky later expressed frustration with Biden consistently talking about a potential invasion publicly, telling reporters that same month that Biden’s “panic” had cost Ukraine nearly $500 million in foreign investment.

 

“I mentioned this to President Biden … we need to stabilize the economy of our country because of those signals which say that tomorrow there will be war,” Zelensky said, “because these signals were sent by even leaders of the respected countries, sometimes they are not even using diplomatic language! They are saying, ‘Tomorrow is the war.'”

 

The “minor incursion” fiasco followed very public feuding between Biden and Zelensky for months on the issue of the Nordstream 2 sanctions. Biden lifted the sanctions in mid-2021, prompting Zelensky to angrily rail to the Washington media outlet Axios that he was “unpleasantly surprised” and “disappointed” by Biden, both by the sanctions lifting and the fact that Biden did not communicate with the Zelensky administration before lifting the sanctions.

 

Zelensky again warned in December that lifting sanctions gives Russia a signal to further invade and any sanctions imposed after a full-scale invasion “won’t matter.”

 

The postbellum sanctions, as Zelensky predicted, do not appear to be making any significant dent in the Russian economy.

A new report from Rasmussen Reports shows that a vast majority of Americans are concerned about election integrity and election cheating.

 

Numerous investigations have found evidence of a fraudulent 2020 election in key swing states across the nation and proven that the 2020 Election was rigged and stolen from President Trump. A single election audit in Maricopa County, Arizona, discovered evidence of hundreds of thousands of potentially fraudulent and questionable ballots.

 

Earlier this year, Dinesh D’Souza and True the Vote’s “2000 Mules” documentaryexposed a nationwide illegal ballot trafficking ring that inserted hundreds of thousands of ballots into key swing states across the country.

 

The Gateway Pundit reported back in October that more than half of America has woken up to the fact that their vote was stolen.

 

Now, an overwhelming majority of Americans no longer have faith in our elections.

U.S. voters are more aware than ever of the dangers of election fraud. According to new data from Rasmussen Reports, 83 percent of likely voters today are concerned about election integrity ahead of the 2022 midterms, and 75 percent are concerned about election cheating.

 

Since 2020, the election system in the United States has been plagued with overwhelming reports of fraud on almost every level, from ballot trafficking to dubious voting tabulation software from voting machines.

 

In fact, another July report from Rasmussen and The National Pulse found that 50 percent of Americans believe it is likely that widespread cheating will affect the outcome of the November midterms.

 

Additionally, a May poll found that 55 percent of U.S. voters at that time believed that cheating changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

 

Rasmussen shared this poll highlighting the outrageous election integrity concerns that were discovered.

As a member of President Nixon’s Watergate defense team, Geoff Shepard holds alternative views of events and how they unfolded during the Watergate scandal.

 

In essence,he argues that once the scandal investigations had become highly politicized, through creation of the Senate Watergate Committee and the Office of the Special Prosecutor, two major injustices followed:

 

First, that the scandal itself was skillfully exploited by President Nixon’s political opponents who were far more interested in destroying the Republican party in advance of the 1976 presidential election than in punishing actual wrongdoing.

 

It was the career prosecutors who had broken the cover-up, but they were quickly removed from the case by Archibald Cox, the newly appointed Special Prosecutor. His office then postponed the pending indictments for ten months, while they launched unrelated investigations into every aspect of the Nixon presidency, sent FBI and IRS agents to interview over 120 major Republican contributors, and developed background information on every potential GOP presidential candidate, including President Gerald Ford, Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, Vice Presidential nominee Senator Robert Dole, and California Governor Ronald Reagan.

 

Shepard’s views are set out in his 2008 book, The Secret Plot to Make Ted Kennedy President, Inside the Real Watergate Scandal, and his related presentation at the Nixon Library of June 24. 2008.

Second, Shepard argues that the trial of the Watergate cover-up case involved judicial and prosecutorial abuse of such magnitude that the resulting guilty verdicts may have to be vacated.

 

He maintains that the real culprits who had been orchestrating the cover-up were let off relatively Scot-free in exchange for their questionable testimony against Nixon and his top three aides, Bob Haldeman, John Ehrlichman and John Mitchell.

 

Shepard is currently writing a book about the cover-up trial, but many of his points can be seen in his February 9, 2012 presentation at the Nixon Library entitled, “Due Process and the Watergate Trials, Did Politics Trump the Rule of Law?”

MARIAL, Ore. - A man suspected of starting fires in a rural area of southern Oregon was detained by three residents who tied him to a tree until authorities arrived.

 

The Curry County Sherriff’s Office received a call around 1:45 p.m. Monday about active fires in Marial, a community located about 95 miles northwest of Medford.

 

A Bureau of Land Management employee who was in the area saw a man walking along a gravel road that leads toward the Marial Lodge and Rogue River Ranch and "starting fires," according to the sheriff’s office.

 

Several agencies, including local, state, and federal authorities, were dispatched to respond to the report of two separate fires burning.

I guess the real question would be; why do muhjoos show up in the middle of the night when everyone has gone to sleep? What purpose do they serve spamming a board no one will pay attention to for hours? UPDATE: Racine County Sheriff Calls on Attorney General to Suspend Election Ballot Harvesting Option on Wisconsin’s Official Election Website

Wisconsin election integrity investigator Harry W. recently discovered the absolute ease of harvesting election ballots in the state online. The state of Wisconsin allowsanyone with a smartphone or computeris able to order an absentee ballot online in someone else’s name.

 

They can have that absentee ballot sent to an address other than the registered voter.And they don’t even need an ID! All you need is the date of birth! Harry even was able to test his findings by attempting to order a ballot for Speaker Robin Vos.

Harry added, “I selected these two high profile public figures because they are scofflaws, have no respect for law and are among the most disingenuous and notorious fraudsters within our state. Both in their own way have contributed to the demise of the public’s lack of confidence in our elections.”

Harry then verified his findings, I obtained permission to order absentee ballots from numerous individuals from around the state and successfully ordered their absentee ballots to be shipped to my address without their assistance. These efforts verified that a very large-scale absentee ballot harvesting scheme with nefarious intentions is easily accomplished due to a lack of a secure website along with the maladministration and malfeasance of WEC officials.

Here is Harry’s letter to local Wisconsin officials from an earlier post. The Racine County Sheriff’s Office was contacted about this serious vulnerability to fraudulent voting in the state.

Here is Sheriff Schmaling’s statement from earlier today.

 

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office has recently been contacted by complainants who have reported apparent vulnerabilities to fraudulent voting within the website My Vote Wisconsin (https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/).

With only a person’s name and date of birth, anyone can request another person’s ballot and have that ballot sent to any address entered. No photo identification is needed, and the requester can make a declaration of being indefinitely confined – thus, for the current and future elections, the requestor will be sent someone else’s ballot at the different address entered.

 

One complainant tested this vulnerability and had a second party request their ballot and had that ballot sent to the second party’s address. The second party was successful in obtaining the first party’s ballot.

 

Another complainant requested the ballot of two prominent government officials and numerous individuals from around the state. This complainant reported he was successful in ordering these ballots be sent to the complainant’s home because he knew these individuals’ dates of birth and without showing any form of photo identification.

 

Based upon this serious threat to voter integrity, the Sheriff’s Office has contacted the Wisconsin Attorney General’s Office and the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

 

While My Vote Wisconsin has many useful capabilities and provides valuable information, the Sheriff’s Office is calling for the immediate suspension of the function within My Vote Wisconsin where a person can request another’s absentee ballot and have it mailed to a different address, with or without showing any proper photo identification. Fulton County Claimed 59,143 People Voted on Election Day In Person But the Data Does Not Support That

With only a month left to go for election document retention in accordance with Federal law, and with the 2022 Election season in full swing, it seems an appropriate time to reflect on some of the anomalies in the 2020 election. After all, we never did get an answer for most of these. Perhaps this information may be relevant to the grand jury that is investigating President Trump for his phone call with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. After all, President Trump laid out a plethora of vote discrepancies totaling in the hundreds of thousands of votes when all he needed was 12,000 or so.

 

In this article, I’d like to spotlight the analysis that was produced by David Cross and his team. Mr. Cross found that, using the Georgia Secretary of State’s own results page, they claimed to have 59,143 in-person voters on November 3, 2020. You can watch the segment I did with Mr. Cross in the video above.

 

On November 3, 2020, the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections called a special meeting to discuss the election thus far. In this live-streamed meeting that is still available here, Fulton County’s interim Elections Chief Dwight Brower said that as of about 5pm, “about 14,152 people have cast a ballot” in Fulton Co. At the 16:42 mark, Dr. Kathleen Ruth asks Dwight Brower to confirm that number of 14,152. At 17:28, BRE member Mark Wingate again, for a third time, asks Dwight Brower to confirm that 14,152 ballots have been cast in person on Election Day thus far. And again, he confirms with Ralph Jones, the Registration Chief, also present on the call.

 

This admission by Dwight Brower would suggest that between the hours of 5pm and 7pm in Fulton County, almost 45,000 people rushed to the polls to vote in-person. However, as mentioned by David Cross in our interview, there was no reporting of long lines or any rushes to the polls. In fact, the Saporta Report, a well-known local news outlet, claimed you could hear the “rustling of leaves on the ground” outside the Central Park Rec Center polling location. The polls were opened two hours extra, from 7-9pm due to “technical issues” early on, but as reported, all of those ballots were to be voted on provisional ballots.

 

Further evidence of this counting anomaly can be found in the Carter Jones Report. You may remember Carter Jones as the individual hired by the Secretary of State’s office to oversee the election process in Fulton Co and issue his findings and suggestions. In his notes, there is a screenshot that shows a total vote count of 21,843 election day votes on November 5 at 12:49am. This is obviously a far cry from the 59,000 reported by Fulton Co.

 

If you search this document, provided by Fulton Co, for total vote records from 5pm until close, you will see that there were 6,931 voters in that time frame. If you factor in what Dwight Brower stated (14,152 votes) plus the 6,931 votes from the Voter List above, it is only 105 votes off from the 21,843 in the Carter Jones report. The Voter List document above does show 59,186 people voted, however, it does not corroborate with what Dwight Brower claimed three separate times to the BRE in an official meeting, or what Carter Jones incidentally displayed in his report. The Voter List above shows that the 14,152nd person checked in to vote at 8:36am. This implies that Dwight Brower would have been citing data that is almost nine hoursbehind. This also is not likely as they have real-time poll pad check ins through Cradle Point software.

 

I wish there was a way to reconcile all of this and get the truth, however, requests for Election Day ballot images have been repeatedly denied with the response “Ballot imaging was not required for the November 2020 election. No responsive records.”

 

Based on the data provided to the media throughout the country during the 2020 Election, there can be no doubt of data manipulation in Fulton County.

Two people charged with conspiracy offences linked to allegations of organ harvesting

 

A woman and a man were charged today (Thursday, 23 June) with conspiring to arrange the travel of a child into the UK in order to harvest organs.

 

The charges follow an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime team.

 

[A] Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55 (10.9.66) of Nigeria is charged with conspiracy to arrange/facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.

 

[B] Ike Ekweremadu, 60 (12.05.62) of Nigeria is charged with conspiracy to arrange/facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.

 

They appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on the same day where they were remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 7 July.

 

The investigation was launched after detectives were alerted to potential offences under modern slavery legislation in May 2022.

 

A child has been safeguarded and we are working closely with partners on continued support.

ICE finds 73 migrants living in smuggler stash houses in Northwest D.C., internal documents reveal

Ukraine bombards Donetsk with landmines – mayor

The Donbass official urged residents to stay vigilant for banned explosive devices

 

Ukrainian forces airdropped banned PFM-1 anti-personnel landmines on the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Wednesday night, Mayor Aleksey Kulemzin said.

 

The mayor wrote on his Telegram channel that mines were discovered on several streets in the northwestern part of the city.

 

“A bomb squad and rescuers have been working on the site since the early morning. A vehicle equipped with a loudspeaker is alerting local residents,” Kulemzin said, urging people to be vigilant and not approach the mines.

 

The small butterfly-shaped PFM-1 landmines are banned under the 1997 Ottawa Convention, of which Ukraine is part. Even when they do not kill the victim when stepped on, they often rip the person’s foot off.

 

Earlier, Lugansk People’s Republic authorities reported finding the PFM-1s in places left by Ukrainian troops after retreating.

 

Both Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of using internationally banned munitions, as well as shelling residential areas and other civilian targets.

Ukraine threatens to attack Russian territory

Kiev has enough “will” to order a strike against Russian territory, a senior official has warned

 

Kiev will not hesitate to attack Russian soil if it deems it necessary, Aleksey Danilov, the head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, threatened during a live broadcast on Wednesday.

 

The security council closely follows all the missile and air strikes Russia launches against Ukraine, Danilov said, adding that Ukrainian authorities are well aware of all the locations in Russia from which the attacks have been carried out. Kiev possesses “enough political will” to order a strike against these targets if such a need arises, he added.

 

“If needed … anyone [in the government] will act without hesitation and sign anything that needs to be signed to destroy these objects,” Danilov said. The security council head also stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s words about Ukraine retaliating against the locations from which the strikes are launched serves as “proof” of Kiev’s determination.

 

Earlier, some Ukrainian officials said that Kiev forces may hit targets on the Crimean Peninsula or the Crimean Bridge, which they consider to be a key supply route for Russian forces. Ukraine’s military intelligence spokesman, Vadim Skibitskiy, claimed that Crimea could be targeted by US-supplied М142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS multiple launch rocket systems.

 

Moscow responded by saying that Ukraine would pay a heavy price if it decided to strike Crimea. Russia’s former president, Dmitry Medvedev, said in mid-July that Moscow might respond with a “massive strike” targeting the Ukrainian leadership if that happened.

 

The US and its allies previously appeared to be reluctant to supply Ukraine with longer-range weapons capable of striking targets deep inside Russia as they were concerned about a potential escalation of the conflict. Washington has not yet agreed to send tactical ballistic missiles with a distance of up to 300 kilometers to Ukraine. Such missiles can be used by the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers the US handed over to Kiev.

 

However, according to the spokesman for the army of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Eduard Basurin, Ukrainian forces may have already received 300km-range HIMARS missiles. DPR troops have found pieces of munitions with a range of 110 kilometers to 120 kilometers, which meant that Kiev could have the 300km-missiles as well, Basurin told the Russian media last week.

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday that the West’s persistence in pumping Ukraine with long-range weapons, including the HIMARS,was already making Moscow reconsider the goals of its military operation in the neighboring country. They now go beyond Donbass and include several other Ukrainian regions, he added.

6 suspects identified in child sex sting in Clay County

 

Investigators identified six men in custody accused of traveling to Clay County in hopes of having sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.

 

Each man met someone they thought was a teenager through social media. The teenager turned out to be investigators with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

 

These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation with Homeland Security known as Operation Blue Ghost. The undercover operation is responsible for arresting a total of 32 people for crimes against children.

 

These are the latest names of men arrested in the sting:

 

Jackie S. Sedgwick, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri

Charged with sexual misconduct with a child under 15

Kremlin comments on military casualty claims

Restocking the weapons the UK has given to Ukraine will take 'several years', the head of the armed forces warned today.

 

Admiral Sir Tony Radakin said the lack of industrial capacity in Britain meant that topping up supplies - such as N-Laws and Brimstone missiles - would not happen quickly.

 

Giving evidence to peers, the Chief of the Defence Staff also raised concerns it could take 'five to 10 years' before the UK could deploy a division with the capabilities to fight alongside US forces.

 

The UK has provided a wide range of weapons to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February, including anti-tank rocket launchers, armoured vehicles and anti-aircraft systems.

 

However, replacing those weapons has become a concern for some in Parliament.

 

On June 16, the former head of the Royal Navy Lord West described the UK's weapons stockpiles as 'insufficient' and called for the country to start producing weapons 'almost on a 24/7 basis'.

 

Admiral Radakin acknowledged that the 'rate of expenditure' of weapons in Ukraine and the 'industrial capacity to backfill' had already become 'a significant issue'.

 

Increased demand for weapons, both in the UK and Europe, along with Britain's decline in industrial capacity over recent decades and current supply chain problems have added to those issues.

 

Admiral Radakin said the Government needed to work with defence suppliers, and had already invited 12 leading companies to Downing Street for talks.

 

But he added: 'We are then talking in years, because you cannot whistle up with modern weapons a quick production line.

 

'Yes, you can churn out shells and artillery, but even at the not super-sophisticated end, even at the modest end of an NLAW (anti-tank) weapon, then that's going to take several years to get back to our original stocks.'

A nonbinding resolution calling upon US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to designate Russia a sponsor of terrorism was unanimously approved by the Senate on Wednesday.

 

According to the bill, introduced bySenators Lindsey Graham(R-SC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Moscow deserves this label for its actions in Russia’s Chechnya, as well as Georgia, Syria, and Ukraine, resulting “in the deaths of countless innocent men, women and children.”

 

The bill blamed Russian forces for committing war crimes during the ongoing military operation in Ukraine and attempting to cover them up, echoing talking points made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky over the past few months. Moscow has been consistently denying these claims, accusing the US-backed Kiev forces and mercenaries of targeting civilians.

 

Graham and Blumenthal visited Kiev earlier in July to meet with Zelensky and promote their push to designate Russia as a sponsor of terrorism. The Ukrainian leader “thanked the senators for this important activity,” his office said….
