Crisis pregnancy centers are exploitative and serve the aims of upholding the patriarchal family, a primary site of violence against women, queers, and children.

 

A Mormon church, Calvary church, Harbor Church, and St. Michaelโ€™s Catholic church all received facelifts in the early hours of Sunday morning. We dumped red paint over the entryways and left messages of โ€œIf abortions arenโ€™t safe then neither are you,โ€ โ€œAbort the church,โ€ and โ€œGod loves abortion.โ€

 

Even in the likelihood that abortion remains legal in western Washington after roe v. wade is overturned, there are still local enemies who are doing everything in their power to make it as difficult and inaccessible as possible. The US news website Axios said that internal planning documents reviewed by the company reveal that the initial number of refugees to be resettled in Spain will be โ€œmodestโ€ but โ€œsymbolically importantโ€.

 

 

They also say that the US is hoping Spain will commit to doubling or tripling the number of temporary workers it receives from Central America with an employment-based migration program.

 

 

It remains unclear if those who have been accepted by Spain for resettlement would have to apply at US embassies and consulates outside the US.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia Republican, says a gun incident from her childhood school years cemented her support for the Second Amendment today.

 

"It was one of the scariest days of my life, and it happened to be when Joe Biden turned America's schools into gun free school zones," Greene recalled during an interview this week with the Just the News, Not Noise television show. "It was in 1990. I was 16 years old, and one morning one of our schoolmates brought guns to school in a duffel bag on the school bus, saying it was like a school project, brought them into his first-period class and he took over our entire school with guns."

 

"And the reason why he was able to do that is we had no good guy with a gun in our school. Our principal, we didn't have a resource officer, we had no one," she added. And so all of our classes went on lockdown and the only thing we knew is that there was another student on the loose with guns and all of our lives were in danger. And that really, really set in to me and many of my friends that we learned a really very important lesson that day," she added.

 

Greene continued, saying, "You never want to be at the mercy of a madman with a gun. You always want to be able to protect yourself and protect others and that's what I walked away from my school that day knowing."

 

Greene said she's been "fighting really hard" against the Democrats' gun control legislation because she believes it won't make anyone safer.

 

"They actually keep everyone unsafe and most importantly, they keep our children unsafe in gun free school zones," she said, adding that she found "irony" in the gun control debate going on in the House chamber.

 

"Every single door has men or women armed with guns, the very same guns that they want to take away from Americans," she said. "And so I was telling everyone there, I was like, this is the biggest hypocrisy. The House of Representatives really is nothing but a House of hypocrisy."

 

The Democratic-led House passed gun control legislation on Wednesday that includes raising the age to purchase semi-automatic weapons to 21 nationally and banning the sale of large-capacity magazines.

 

Currently, federal law sets the age at 21 for the purchase of handguns, not semi-automatic weapons such as AR-15s. The bill faces an uphill climb in the 50-50 Senate.

Saudi Arabia Bans Rainbow Toys, Clothing With 'Homosexual Colors' Weeks Before Biden Visit

 

Weeks ahead of President Biden's much anticipated and controversial trip to Saudi Arabia, where he'll meet with crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom is cracking down on any items, including toys, with a rainbow on them.

 

The commerce ministry put clothing and toy stores on notice over "rainbow colors" in the capital of Riyadh - saying such items will now be banned as they "contradict the Islamic faith and public morals and promote homosexual colors targeting the younger generation."

 

The commerce ministry is currently reviewing and putting together a list of banned items.

 

An official statement said, "We are giving a tour of the items that contradict the Islamic faith and public morals and promote homosexual colors targeting the younger generation."

 

"Targeted items include rainbow-colored bows, skirts, hats and pencil cases, most of them apparently manufactured for young children, according to a report by the state-run Al-Ekhbariya news channel," the AFP reported days ago.

 

Given that children's toys often have rainbow colors even before the era of 'Gay Pride flags', and given the symbol began to be widespread in Western societies and media over the past half-decade, it's unclear if the more innocuous 'non-signaling' toys will made it past the Saudi censors.

Durham police involved in shootout after vehicles enter crime scene

 

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) โ€“ Durham police are investigating a shooting in the 1000 block of Worth Street.

 

When officers arrived on the scene they found an unoccupied vehicle with bullet holes at the intersection of Elm Street and East Main Street.

 

A short time later a man walked into a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

 

Police said during the investigation, two vehicles began to drive through (shot at the cops) the crime scene and two officers returned gunfire.

 

Both of those vehicles ended up leaving the scene.

 

No officers were injured.

 

The officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave with pay, which is standard procedure in an officer-involved shooting.

The warning now occurs on many pages on the archives.org website and links to a page entitled โ€œNARAโ€™s Statement on Potentially Harmful Content.โ€

 

The Archivesโ€™ defines harmful language in numerous variations. However, it appears to have a liberal, more left-leaning bias in determining what it deems as harmful or offensive.

 

It considers any language reflecting racist, sexist, ableist, misogynistic/misogynoir, and xenophobic opinions and attitudes as harmful. Albeit, the definition behind some of the terms is subjective to the reader, and many have no specific definition in societal norms.

 

It also notes that discriminatory language towards or excluding diverse views on sexuality, gender, and religion is offensive. Again, this is subjective, and a personโ€™s views of sexuality or religion can be acceptable or offensive based on oneโ€™s biases.

 

It also classifies language as offensive when demonstrating bias and exclusion in institutional collecting and digitization policies.

 

According to the site, Archivists choose what language to use when describing materials. It notes that some of the documents in the archive contain descriptions written many years ago, using language accepted at the time.

 

When you click the warning links, the disclaimer reads, โ€œThe Catalog and web pages contain some content that may be harmful or difficult to view. In 2021, Resilinc, a leading global supply chain monitoring and risk management firm that has been tracking disruptions at manufacturing plants for over a decade, was prompted to create a WarRoom to track the sudden uptick of supply chain disruptions.

 

The company issued 11,642 to alerts notifying its, which include todayโ€™s largest multinational organizations, about supply chain disruptions; an 88 percent increase in supply chain disruptions in a single year.

 

North America experienced the 5,417 supply chain disruptions, more than any other developed nation, followed by Europe which saw 2,838 and Asia, 2,128.

 

Manufacturing plants arenโ€™t accidentally getting destroyed in the United States. Destructive fires like those raging across in food factories across the United States have suspiciously become commonplace around the world.

 

More factory fires occurred in 2021 than any year in recorded history.

 

Nearly a quarter of the supply chain disruptions globally were attributed to manufacturing plants being set aflame, according to exclusive data compiled from Resilincโ€™s EventWatch monitoring database.

 

โ€œResilinc issued 1,946 Factory Fire alerts in 2021, an increase of 129 percent year-over year,โ€ Resilinc communications director Melissa Gieringer said in a statement issued to the Gateway Pundit.

 

The company attributes the sudden cause of fires to labor shortages caused by the pandemic.

 

โ€œThe uptick is due mostly to gaps in regulatory and process execution as well as shortage of skilled labor in warehouses. Factory fires are contributing to record breaking supply shortages. If a warehouse goes down for a month due to a factory fire the trickle-down effect is huge,โ€ Gieringer said. โ€ If no one is checking that the fire sprinklers work, or if there are flammable materials โ€“ like cardboard โ€“ left on the floor because there is not enough staff available to clean up, it can turn into a bad scenario.โ€

 

โ€œTake this example: In October 2020 a fire broke out at a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Japan; it took three days to put the fire out and when the dust settled, production lines were estimated to be down a minimum of six months,โ€ she continued. โ€œAs a result, procurement teams โ€“ from the hi-tech to automotive sectors โ€“ were scrambling. The price of some chips went from $5 to $110 in a matter of days and ultimately cost sourcing organizations tens of millions of dollars. A risk assessment survey later revealed that the site did not have anyone checking the automatic sprinkler or fire suppression system. This fire also contributed to the current chip shortage that is significantly impacting carmakers.โ€

Canada deployed two warships to the Baltic Sea and North Atlantic on Sunday, joining a pair of frigates already in the region, the announced objective is to reinforce NATO's eastern flank.

Centers for Disease Control Director Rochelle Walensky is a bit miffed at network executives who abruptly scrubbed Monkeypox coverage following the Uvalde massacre, a CDC whistleblower told Real Raw News.

 

For two weeks Monkeypox dominated evening news broadcasts, and online dailies showcased images of alleged Monkeypox victims, even though, according to Walensky, the U.S. currently has only 10 active cases. The whistleblower, however, says there are none.

 

Regardless, coverage of Monkeypox came to a sudden stop the minute an 18-year-old, broke, unemployed, mentally unhinged trans kid strolled into a grade school and hosed down 21 people with $5000 in semi-automatic rifles, ammunition, and tactical gear, an obvious false flag attack. RRN had largely avoided the topic, because other alternative outlets have covered it aplenty, and we had nothing verifiably unique to add.

 

In the hours leading up to the attack, though, Walensky was at CDC headquarters in Atlanta feverishly writing interdepartmental memos encouraging โ€˜someโ€™ of the agencyโ€™s 11,000 employees to get vaccinated against Monkeypox as soon as the FDA issued emergency use authorization. Walensky, the whistleblower said, was making dire predictions not backed by even the flimsiest science.

 

โ€œThe woman is nuts,โ€ the whistleblower said. โ€œShe was telling people Monkeypox, a disease typically confined to the homosexual community, would jump to โ€˜cisgenderโ€™ people because the LBGQT community had grown exponentially the last few decades. She said a person infected by monkeypox but not yet symptomatic could shed skin flakes and infect others. She also likened the disease to a fungus, saying Monkeypox โ€˜sporesโ€™ could go airborne and sicken anyone within a hundred-meter radius of an infected patient. Thereโ€™s no evidence to support that claim, by the way. After Uvalde, and the news stopped mentioning Monkeypox, she went crazy.โ€

 

Walensky, he added, complained to HHS Secretary Xavier Baccara about the disappearance of Monkeypox in the news. The latter purportedly said that โ€˜higher upsโ€™ had decided to avail themselves of a โ€˜golden opportunity,โ€ embracing a renewed outcry for restrictive gun legislation instead of immediately fostering a new plandemic.

 

Not one to be upstaged, Walensky broke ranks by personally contacting network executives at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and, yes, Fox News, asking them to restore coverage of Monkeypox. In each case, the whistleblower said, she was told that Monkeypox had been put on the backburner until further notice, until the public had grown weary of hearing about another mass shooting. Walensky groused incessantly, saying the deaths of 19 children, while tragic, paled in comparison to the havoc Monkeypox might unleash on the American public.

Opinion: Let's set the record straight on Lavrov's Hitler comments

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's comments on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Jewish identity have occasioned shock, dismay, and outrage. In an interview on Italian television, Lavrov defended his country's portrayal of Ukraine as a "Nazi" state, Zelensky's background notwithstanding. "So what if Zelensky is Jewish?" he asked. "The fact does not negate the Nazi elements in Ukraine." Indeed, Hitler himself had "Jewish blood," and "the most ardent antisemites are usually Jews," he said.

The show's host, not unexpectedly, declined to challenge these assertions, delegating this task to other journalists, international politicians and the public at large.

Some of the reactions have been predictable. Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted that "today's Russia is full of hatred towards other nations." US State Department spokesman Ned Price condemned Lavrov's "insidious lies." Germany's government spokesman Steffen Hebenstreit suggested that such "absurd" propaganda required no further comment.

In Israel, Lavrov's provocations touched a particularly raw nerve, prompting the country's leaders to abandon their diplomatic balancing act. Foreign Minister Yair Lapid dismissed the statements as both inexcusable and historically erroneous. "The Jews did not murder themselves in the Holocaust," he said, adding that it was the "lowest level of racism against Jews to blame Jews themselves for antisemitism." Dani Dayan, head of Israel's Holocaust Remembrance Center Yad Vashem, denounced Lavrov's account as "absurd, delusional, dangerous and deserving of condemnation."

(On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's office said Russian President Vladimir Putin had apologized for Lavrov's comments.)

Whatever Lavrov's intentions, it is important to counter his version of events. There are three issues at stake: first, his depiction of Ukraine; second, his characterization of Hitler; and third, his conception of Jewish (or any other) identity.

Antisemitism is not unknown to modern Ukraine. Tens of thousands of Jews lost their lives after World War I, as antisemitic violence became an "acceptable response to the excesses of Bolshevism." Ukrainians were not alone in perpetrating these crimes: Poles and White Russian troops were equally implicated. Pogroms and mass murder returned with a vengeance two decades later.

Anticipating the re-establishment of an independent state, nationalists in western Ukraine collaborated with the Nazis, sometimes as members of the auxiliary police force, sometimes as concentration camp guards. Again, they were not unique in taking advantage of German advances against the Soviet Union.

Present-day Ukraine has its fair share of right-wing extremism. Militias have attacked anti-fascist demonstrators and municipal politicians, as well as foreign students and Roma. Still, in the country's 2019 parliamentary election, a coalition of far-right parties secured just over 2% of the vote, a figure that pales in comparison with the successes of racists elsewhere in Western and Eastern Europe.

As much as Russian collective memory may have prejudiced Lavrov's depiction of Ukraine, it is evident that so-called "denazification" is merely a pretext to "de-Ukrainize" a territory that, for Lavrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin alike, lacks historical legitimacy.
