We were cheated out of much of what was Trumps agenda for four years, during which time โ€œtheyโ€ tried to prevent him from being elected, then inaugurated, and spent the rest of his term trying to remove him from office, and even impeached him AFTER his term, ALL on โ€œTrumped-upโ€ charges.

 

We were cheated out of effective people being appointed to key positions, due to approval processes, by people who HATE this country.

 

We were cheated out of several years of the โ€œnormalcyโ€ that we had become accustomed to, due to โ€œCovidโ€, and all of the idiocy that came with it, some of which we are still experiencing.

 

We were cheated out of the 2020 and 2022 elections, with no help from the courts, the legislatures, or the executive branch, at the federal or state levels.

 

The military and law enforcement have failed to step up. It is arguable that they would stand against their own sworn oaths of office, if so ordered. They have become a sham.

 

And the exposure from the Twitter files shows direct involvement of the IC (Intelligence Community - ALL OF THEM) AGAINST We the People and the Constitution.

 

And now, โ€œtheyโ€ are trying to prevent him from running again; the best we can expect is more of the same.

 

We will NOT be able to vote our way out of this mess; nor will we be able to pray our way out; though I caution against giving up either.

 

IMO, there is NO effective โ€œConstitutional remedyโ€; nor is there a means for a โ€œredress of grievancesโ€.

According to Karenga, the name Kwanzaa derives from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza, meaning "first fruits".[6] First fruits festivals exist in Southern Africa, celebrated in December/January with the southern solstice, and Karenga was partly inspired by an account he read of the Zulu festival Umkhosi Wokweshwama.[7] It was decided to spell the holiday's name with an additional "a" so that it would have a symbolic seven letters.[8]

 

During the early years of Kwanzaa, Karenga said it was meant to be an alternative to Christmas. ''He believed Jesus was psychotic and Christianity was a "White" religion ''that Black people should shun.[9] As Kwanzaa gained mainstream adherents, Karenga altered his position so practicing Christians would not be alienated, stating in the 1997 book Kwanzaa: A Celebration of Family, Community, and Culture that "Kwanzaa was not created to give people an alternative to their own religion or religious holiday."[10] Many African Americans who celebrate Kwanzaa do so in addition to observing Christmas.[11]

 

After its initial creation in California, Kwanzaa spread outside the United States.[12]

The question should not be WHO caused the machines to malfunction, it should be, did the machines malfunction cause voter suppression, if the answer is yes, then machines should be banned from use in elections. Ukrainian Drone Attack On Airbase Deep Inside Russian Territory Kills 3 Soldiers

 

A fresh Ukrainian attack deep inside Russian territory has left three dead, Russian news agencies are reporting Monday, which further describe that an enemy drone was intercepted before debris came down on bystanders below.

 

The Ukrainian drone was inbound over a military base in southern Russia identified as Engels airbase in the Saratov region, which is located more than 600km from the Ukrainian border. "On December 26, at around 01:35 Moscow time, a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down at low altitude while approaching the Engels military airfield in the Saratov region," the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.

 

"As a result of the drone's wreckage falling, three Russian technicians who were at the airfield were fatally injured," the statement added, as quoted in TASS. The ministry said that no aircraft were damaged in the attack, with Saratov governor Roman Busargin telling local residents there is "absolutely no threat" at this time.

 

Given the drone attack from Ukraine set off some degree of panic, Busargin additionally warned the public that "All stories about the evacuation from the city are blatant lies, created far from the borders of our country."

 

The incident marks a rare moment in which three Russian military personnel were killed while at a base far away from the front lines of conflict in neighboring Ukraine. Engels is also known to host advanced hypersonic and nuclear-capable bombers.

 

Currently there's speculation that the drone may have directly impacted the base, and that Russian authorities are advancing the narrative that it was intercepted by anti-air defenses in order to deny the Ukrainians a 'successful' military operation, and for Kremlin leadership to save face. Related to the speculation and rumors, the Saratov governor had additionally warned against residents spreading "fake information."

you are missing the point. The state is saying the whoopsie is ok. They say the 19 inch gets copied to a 20 inch and it is imaged and counted. They also say this is a bipartisan thing of the vote creation. Off the bad ballots. They use this as cover that there is a procedure that covers their bullshit. The problem is it still causes doubt in the system because there are so many breaks along the way. Also does not help the judges would not allow all the charges to be heard. Kneecapping them with that as well as forcing them to show intent/ vs accidents can still cause doubt in the results.

Swiss Government Rejects Third-Gender Option On Official Records

 

Years from now, historians will look back at the Swiss government's decision to reject the introduction of a third gender option on official records as some sanity has returned to Europe. But the prevailing trend across the bloc is neighboring countries have added ways for residents to identify as nonbinary.

 

AP News reported the governing Federal Council said, "the binary gender model is still strongly anchored in Swiss society." The council rejected two proposals from parliament on Wednesday to introduce a third-gender option or no-gender option for official records.

 

"The social preconditions for the introduction of a third gender or for a general waiver of the gender entry in the civil registry currently are not there," the council continued.

 

According to the government, such options would require too many changes to the country's constitution and laws at national and cantonal levels. They added now wasn't the right time to overhaul the system, citing a 2020 report via the national ethics commission.

 

Meanwhile, third-gender options on official documents are allowed in several European countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, and Belgium. An increasing number of western countries are passing laws allowing a third-gender option

Human smuggling suspects arrested after at least 21 illegal immigrants, including pregnant woman and 3-year-old girl, discovered naked and starving in Fort Worth home: Report

 

At least 21 illegal immigrants are safe and two suspects in custody after the FBI conducted a raid on a Fort Worth, Texas, home shortly before Christmas. The agency believed that the home was used as a stopping point in a human trafficking scheme.

 

On the evening of December 21, FBI agents raided the home in the 1800 block of Miller Avenue in the southeastern part of the city. There, they discovered anywhere from 21 to 27 illegal immigrants from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador who had been "held hostage" in horrific conditions.

 

The group of illegal immigrants โ€” including a pregnant woman and a 3-year-old girl โ€” were all "stripped naked, unfed, cold, and scared, and held hostage," said a statement from Domingo Garcia, the national president of the League of United Latin American Citizens.

 

Hilda Duarte, also of LULAC, explained that "their clothes were taken from them โ€ฆ to keep them from escaping and leaving the home."

 

And remain in the home they did. According to reports, the group had been at the home at least two days without food. Conditions had gotten so bad that the 3-year-old girl, who was still breastfeeding, no longer had nourishment because her mother's body had stopped producing milk.

 

In total, between seven and 10 females, including the little girl, were rescued in the raid, which means that most of the victims were male. While none of the ages of the victims, except for the little girl, have been released, there have been no reports of male minors among them. The group has been given food, clothing, and medical care. LULAC has also paid for hotel rooms to keep the victims out of the cold.

Career criminal shot man at least 7 times while out on bail from celeb-endorsed bail fund: Lawsuit

 

A pet project backed by some of the most liberal celebrities in Hollywood nearly cost a Las Vegas man his life, a new lawsuit claims.

 

The lawsuit stems from a horrific shooting a year ago. On December 20, 2021, Rashawn Gaston-Anderson, 24, walked into the ShangHai Taste, just a few miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, and opened fire. Chengyan Wang, a waiter at the establishment, was alone at the time and sustained anywhere from seven to 11 gunshot wounds. Gaston-Anderson eventually pled guilty to attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and mayhem with the use of a deadly weapon in connection to the shooting and has been sentenced to serve seven to 18 years in prison.

 

Despite life-threatening injuries, Wang managed to survive the shooting and has now filed a lawsuit against several defendants, including the nonprofit organization that allowed Gaston-Anderson to be out on the streets that day in the first place. The Bail Project, based in California, is a "national" organization that provides bail assistance to thousands of accused persons across the country in an attempt to "restore the presumption of innocence, reunite families, and challenge a system that criminalizes race and poverty," its website claims. A Las Vegas office for the Bail Project, which opened in February 2021, posted $3,000 for Gaston-Anderson just six days before he shot Wang.

Sam Bankman-Fried Had Deep Ties To Current, Former Regulators, Emails Show

 

Disgraced former crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried developed deep ties with regulators he wanted to oversee the crypto industry, emails reportedly show.

 

Bankman-Fried hired multiple former regulators at the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to staff his legal team at FTX, his Bahamas-based crypto exchange. They helped him develop relationships with top CFTC officials and other regulators, according to the LA Times.

 

FTX general counsel Ryne Miller, former legal counsel to then-CFTC Commissioner and current SEC Commissioner Gary Gensler, arranged a meeting between Bankman-Fried and SEC general counsel Dan Berkovitz, LA Times reported. Berkovitz announced his resignation from the SEC Dec. 22, the same day the LA Times asked questions about his role.

 

Months earlier, former FTX head of policy and regulatory director Mark Wetjen arranged a meeting with CFTC Chair Rostin Behnam and his chief of staff to discuss FTX affiliate LedgerX, LA Times found.

 

Behnam testified to the Senate Agriculture Committee Dec.1 he met with Bankman-Fried and his team 10 times about LedgerX, in response to a question from GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa 90 minutes into the hearing.

 

Bankman-Fried was a proponent of the Digital Commodities Consumer Protection Act (DCCPA), a bipartisan bill to give the CFTC more oversight over the crypto industry. FTX lobbied for the bill more than any other legislation in 2022, according to campaign finance watchdog OpenSecrets.

 

Bankman-Fried testified to the Senate Agriculture Committee Feb. 9 about his โ€œvision for the CFTC as a digital-assets market regulator for the U.S,โ€ in a hearing about digital assets.

 

Campaign finance records show Bankman-Fried donated to Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, DCCPA author and Agriculture Committee Chair. He also donated to GOP Sen. John Boozman of Arkansas, Agriculture Committee Ranking Member and co-sponsor of the bill, records show.

ABC News Executive Producer Dax Tejera Dies at 37

 

Dax Tejera, an executive producer (EP) at ABC News, has died from cardiac arrest on Dec. 23, just a few weeks ahead of his 38th birthday.

Prior to joining ABC, Tejera had worked with MSNBC, NBC, and HBO. He is survived by his wife Veronica and two young daughters, Ella aged 5 months, and Sofia aged 2 years.

China's military sent 71 planes and seven ships toward Taiwan in a 24-hour display of force directed at the island, Taiwan's defense ministry said Monday, after China expressed anger at Taiwan-related provisions in a U.S. annual defense spending bill passed on Saturday.

 

China's military harassment of self-ruled Taiwan, which it claims is its own territory, has intensified in recent years, and the Communist Party's People's Liberation Army has sent planes or ships toward the island on a near-daily basis.

 

Between 6 a.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, 47 of the Chinese planes crossed the median of the Taiwan Strait, an unofficial boundary once tacitly accepted by both sides, according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense.

Microsoft, Wiz among businesses expressing concern incoming government will seek to amend laws allowing firms to refuse services if it violates their religious beliefs

 

Israeli tech firms and financial institutions are joining an effort started by Israel Discount Bank to clearly voice their opposition to discrimination amid growing concern that the incoming coalition government will enact changes to allow the use of discriminatory practices.

 

Israel Discount Bank on Sunday announced that its board of directors accepted a recommendation by the bankโ€™s management to update its credit policy to reflect that the bank will not grant credit to any business or organization that acts in a discriminatory manner or discriminates against customers on the basis of religion, race, gender, or sexual orientation.

 

โ€œWe found it appropriate to amend the bankโ€™s credit policy, so that what is already obvious will now become official,โ€ said Israel Discount Bank chairman Shaul Kobrinsky. โ€œAccording to the policy, Discount Bank will not grant credit to businesses or entities that discriminate against customers in the State of Israel.โ€

 

โ€œThis is our commitment and responsibility as a significant business entity within the Israeli economy,โ€ Kobrinsky added.

 

Discount Bankโ€™s statement comes in response to an apparent coalition agreement between the Religious Zionism and Likud parties, which includes a clause stipulating that the incoming government will seek to amend discrimination laws to allow business owners to refuse to provide a service if it violates their religious beliefs. The deal has yet to be officially signed.

 

Meanwhile, incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied that his coalition would allow such a law to pass.

 

The law as it stands forbids discrimination by those providing public services or products on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and other similar considerations, and anyone doing so is liable to be fined.

 

Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk, corporate vice president at tech giant Microsoft Corp., warned that discourse that encourages racism and discrimination of any kind has no place in a civilized society.

UPDATED 18 : Ukrainian Saboteurs Killed While Trying To Enter Russian Territory

 

On December 26, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) claimed that a group of Ukrainian saboteurs was destroyed near the Ukrainian border in the Russian Bryansk region.

 

Four Ukrainian saboteurs tried to illegally cross the Russian border but were killed by Russian security services during the special operation.

 

According to the FSB of the Bryansk region, Ukrainian militants were equipped with German SIG Sauer MPX submachine guns, communication and navigation devices, as well as four IEDs with a total capacity of about 40 kg in TNT equivalent.

 

Investigative measures are underway.

Another Disturbing Video of 'Rachel' Levine Is Going Viral

 

Earlier this month, an old video surfaced of Dr. Richard โ€œRachelโ€ Levine, Joe Bidenโ€™s assistant secretary of health. The video, from the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in Washington, D.C., went viral because Levine inadvertently admitted everything wrong and predatorial about the transgender movement. Levine was secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health at the time the video was made, but it was nevertheless a revealing video, exposing just how evil the movement is.

 

On Monday, another video featuring Levine went viral, and itโ€™s just as disturbing. It is not clear when the video was created, but it is a truly disturbing one that needs to be exposed.

 

In the video, Levine discusses the need to censor what he believes to be โ€œhealth misinformation,โ€ and says that health professionals have โ€œa critical role to playโ€ in that effort.

 

โ€œWe must continue and to expand their work to address health misinformation directly with their patients. Now, this includes but it goes beyond COVID-19. So Iโ€™d like to just talk briefly about another area of substantial misinformation that is directly impacting health equity in our nation. And that is the health equity of sexual and gender minorities,โ€ Levine, who pretends to be a woman, says with his manly voice and masculine features. โ€œThere is substantial misinformation about gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. We are in this nation facing an onslaught of anti-LGBTQAI actions at the state levels across the United States, and they are dangerous to the public health.โ€

 

The video, which appears to be a clip from an interview, features Levine wearing his uniform in front of a very poor green screen with โ€œU.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corpsโ€ and the U.S. Public Health Service seal behind him.

 

โ€œThe positive value of gender-affirming care for youth and adults is not in scientific or medical dispute,โ€ he falsely claimed. Not only is there no consensus on this issue in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, and France have all dialed back on pushing transgender โ€œtreatmentsโ€ for children. Why? Because they recognize the harm it does to kids. But the Biden administration has gone all in on pushing the transing of kidsโ€”including pushing for taxpayer dollars to fund these so-called โ€œtreatments.โ€

 

โ€œSo we all need to work together to get our voices, um, out in the front line. We need to get our voices in the public eye. And we can we know how effective our medical community can be talking to communities, whether itโ€™s a townhalls, schools, conversations with othersโ€ฆ. And we need to use our cliniciansโ€™ voice to collectively advocate for tech companies to create a healthier, cleaner information environment during a moment when public trust in our leaders in our information is very challenged. The $1.7 trillion omnibus bill has passed congress, and itโ€™s such a dumpster fire that it wasnโ€™t even technically ready for the presidentโ€™s signature. No, Iโ€™m not kidding. Congress apparently passed a bill that wasnโ€™t prepared to be signed. They then had to pass another continuing resolution to keep the government running in the meantime. If thatโ€™s not the perfect metaphor for how awful our federal government is, then one doesnโ€™t exist.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov Predicts Downfall of Western Economic Leadership

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that the West was bound to lose its leading role in the global economic hierarchy.

 

"The revision of risks and threats stemming from such dependence [on the Western leadership] is progressing rapidly. I assure you that we will soon see the West's capacity to steer the global economy shrink drastically," he told Russian media.

Lavrov said that many countries were increasingly disillusioned with the West after initially seeing the "instruments and mechanisms" at its disposal as promoting a global balance of interests. Russia, in particular, came to distrust the West after the recent breakdown in bilateral ties.

"We will not be running after the West after it severed almost all tiesโ€ฆ We will seek out those who have never let us down and with whom we had to make difficult compromises in the past โ€” but once we agreed on something they never failed us," he said.

Lavrov argued that the Biden administration was bent on universalizing its vision of Western liberal democracy, as described by American political scientist Francis Fukuyama in his 1992 book, "The End of History and the Last Man."

"American envoys demand that every country take a tough stance on Russia, join the sanctions and stop dealing with Russian representatives. It is all part of this plan to bring about the end of history by ensuring the final and irreversible dominance of the so-called golden billion," he said.

FTX locked in its bankruptcy attorneys with a $12 million retainer before it filed for Chapter 11, court documents show. It made its first payment to the firm almost three months prior to filing. FTX filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 11. The first payment of $23,882.50 was made after its retainer was paid on Aug. 26, per the filing. As of Nov. 3, 2022, Sullivan and Cromwell LLC, the firm leading FTXโ€™s restructuring, had already cashed in more than $3.4 million of its retainer, nearly 30%. For its hourly legal fees, Sullivan and Cromwell will charge from โ€œ$1,575 to $2,165 per hour for partners and special counsel, $810 to $1,475 per hour for associates and $425 to $595 per hour for legal assistants,โ€ according to the filing. FTX has also recruited firm Quinn Emanuel for a maximum hourly fee of $1,917 for partners, per a separate filing. Attorneys at Landis Rath & Cobb are serving as general bankruptcy co-counsel and were retained for $300,000 prior to the Chapter 11 filing. Additionally, John Ray, FTXโ€™s new head appointed to see the collapsed exchange through its restructuring, is billing $1,300 per hour for his fees, according to court filings. Ray appeared before lawmakers earlier this month to testify about what he has learned so far about the exchangeโ€™s collapse. โ€œWhat was first disclosed to the public happened around Nov. 2, But when this began was months, if not earlier, years,โ€ Ray said during the hearing. โ€œInvestigation is continuingโ€ฆbut this is not something that happened overnight.โ€ FTXโ€™s restructuring team has secured more than $1 billion in assets so far, Ray said, which are now being held in cold storage for security with custodian Fireblocks. The team anticipates it will take additional โ€œweeks, if not monthsโ€ to recover additional assets. The majority of FTXโ€™s creditors were clients of FTX.com โ€” Bankman-Friedโ€™s flagship global exchange headquartered in the Bahamas โ€” and not based in the US, Ray added. FTXโ€™s collapse and associated fraud is โ€œworse than Enron,โ€ the veteran insolvency expert has said, primarily because FTXโ€™s management system was so inappropriately structured. The social media platform has been aiding the US Department of Defense in pushing its agenda through fake accounts

 

Information continues to roll out about how Twitter knowingly became a conduit for US propaganda efforts abroad that only serve to produce more violence and chaos. Sadly, this news has seemingly been greeted with a collective yawn by both the US corporate press and the American public.

 

A recent article by The Intercept details how Twitter facilitated efforts by US Central Command (CENTCOM), a division of the US Defense Department, to spread propaganda, particularly in and about the Middle East, using fake accounts posing as private individuals in the region.

 

These accounts were given special treatment by Twitter, which accorded them the same privileges as โ€˜blue-checkedโ€™ verified accounts, which, as The Intercept article describes, โ€œwould have bestowed a number of advantages, such as invulnerability to algorithmic bots that flag accounts for spam or abuse, as well as other strikes that lead to decreased visibility or suspension.โ€

 

And, of course, this was being done at a time when Twitter was deleting hundreds of accounts it viewed as associated with the Russian government and designating other such accounts as โ€œRussian-state affiliated mediaโ€ even when, as in the case of some of my friends, such as Fiorella Isabel, these accounts were of private individuals writing in their own, personal capacity.

 

One example of an account given โ€œpriority serviceโ€ by Twitter was @yemencurrent (now deleted), which, among other things, โ€œhad emphasized that U.S. drone strikes were โ€˜accurateโ€™ and killed terrorists, not civilians, and promoted the U.S. and Saudi-backed assault on Houthi rebels in that country.โ€ Such a whitewashing of the US-Saudi war on Yemen โ€“ a war barely covered in the US press and therefore barely known to most Americans โ€“ is especially infuriating given that that war has been marked by the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure on a colossal scale and by the US governmentโ€™s willful failure to even properly account for civilian casualties.

 

The USโ€™ own Government Accountability Office has, in a restricted-access document reported upon by the New York Times in June, concluded that, since the war began in 2015, โ€œ[t]he State Department and the Defense Department have failed to assess civilian casualties caused by a Saudi-led coalition in the catastrophic war in Yemen and the use of American-made weapons in the killings . . . .โ€

 

The NYT also reported that earlier, โ€œin August 2020, the State Department inspector general issued a report that said the department had failed to take proper measures to reduce civilian deaths.โ€ The result has been an estimated 150,000 deaths, including nearly 15,000 civilians, and one of the worldโ€™s worst humanitarian crises in history.

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch obtained evidence that a computer contractor working under the direction of Hillary Clintonโ€™s legal team destroyed subpoenaed records that the former secretary of state stored on a private email server she originally kept at her New York home, and then lied to investigators about it. Yet no charges were brought against Clinton, her lawyers, or her paid consultant.

 

The leniency accorded to Clinton contrasts with recent moves by Attorney General Merrick Garland to aggressively investigate former President Trump and his lawyers for allegedly obstructing investigatorsโ€™ efforts to locate subpoenaed records at his Florida home. Legal experts say the apparent double standard may provide a useful defense for Trump and his legal team.

 

The treatment of Clinton included a deal with her defense team that required the FBI to, in effect, obstruct its own investigation. During its 2016 probe, the bureau agreed with her lawyersโ€™ demands to destroy two laptop hard drives containing subpoenaed evidence immediately after searching for files on them. They did so while the information was still being sought by congressional investigators and even though the lawyers had served under Clinton at the State Department and were subjects of the FBIโ€™s investigation. In fact, the laptops were theirs.

 

Long before it bowed to the request, the FBI suspected Clintonโ€™s lawyers played hide-and-seek with evidence, making the concession that much more baffling.

โ€œConspiracy theorists โ€ฆ feeding the American public misinformationโ€ is a familiar attack line for anyone raising free-speech concerns over the FBIโ€™s role in social media censorship. What is different is that this attack came from the countryโ€™s largest law enforcement agency, the FBI โ€” and, since the FBI has made combatting โ€œdisinformationโ€ a major focus of its work, the labeling of its critics is particularly menacing.

 

Fifty years ago, the Watergate scandal provoked a series of events that transformed not only the presidency but federal agencies like the FBI. Americans demanded answers about the involvement of the FBI and other federal agencies in domestic politics. Ultimately, Congress not only investigated the FBI but later impanelled the Church Committee to investigate a host of other abuses by intelligence agencies.

There is the visible government situated around the Mall in Washington, and then there is another, more shadowy, more indefinable government that is not explained in Civics 101 or observable to tourists at the White House or the Capitol. The former is traditional Washington partisan politics: the tip of the iceberg that a public watching C-SPAN sees daily and which is theoretically controllable via elections. The subsurface part of the iceberg I shall call the Deep State, which operates according to its own compass heading regardless of who is formally in power. [1]

 

During the last five years, the news media have been flooded with pundits decrying the broken politics of Washington. The conventional wisdom has it that partisan gridlock and dysfunction have become the new normal. That is certainly the case, and I have been among the harshest critics of this development. But it is also imperative to acknowledge the limits of this critique as it applies to the American governmental system. On one level, the critique is self-evident: In the domain that the public can see, Congress is hopelessly deadlocked in the worst manner since the 1850s, the violently rancorous decade preceding the Civil War.

 

Yes, there is another government concealed behind the one that is visible at either end of Pennsylvania Avenue, a hybrid entity of public and private institutions ruling the countryโ€ฆ

 

As I wrote in The Party is Over, the present objective of congressional Republicans is to render the executive branch powerless, at least until a Republican president is elected (a goal that voter suppression laws in GOP-controlled states are clearly intended to accomplish). President Obama cannot enact his domestic policies and budgets: Because of incessant GOP filibustering, not only could he not fill the large number of vacancies in the federal judiciary, he could not even get his most innocuous presidential appointees into office. Democrats controlling the Senate have responded by weakening the filibuster of nominations, but Republicans are sure to react with other parliamentary delaying tactics. This strategy amounts to congressional nullification of executive branch powers by a party that controls a majority in only one house of Congress.

 

Despite this apparent impotence, President Obama can liquidate American citizens without due processes, detain prisoners indefinitely without charge, conduct dragnet surveillance on the American people without judicial warrant and engage in unprecedented โ€” at least since the McCarthy era โ€” witch hunts against federal employees (the so-called โ€œInsider Threat Programโ€). Within the United States, this power is characterized by massive displays of intimidating force by militarized federal, state and local law enforcement. Abroad, President Obama can start wars at will and engage in virtually any other activity whatsoever without so much as a by-your-leave from Congress, such as arranging the forced landing of a plane carrying a sovereign head of state over foreign territory. Despite the habitual cant of congressional Republicans about executive overreach by Obama, the would-be dictator, we have until recently heard very little from them about these actions โ€” with the minor exception of comments from gadfly Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky. Democrats, save a few mavericks such as Ron Wyden of Oregon, are not unduly troubled, either โ€” even to the extent of permitting seemingly perjured congressional testimony under oath by executive branch officials on the subject of illegal surveillance.

Maricopa Elections Director Scott Jarrett Lied Under Oath In Kari Lakeโ€™s Historic Election Trial โ€“ Admits He Knew About Ballot Printing Issues โ€œa Few Days After Election Dayโ€

 

A gutless Arizona judge on Saturday dismissed Kari Lakeโ€™s election lawsuit against Democrat Katie Hobbs in the stolen 2022 midterm election, despite massive voter disenfranchisement targeting Republicans and obviously false testimony by elections officials.

 

The Gateway Pundit reported that Maricopa County Election Director Scott Jarrett changed his testimony and likely perjured himself on day two of Kari Lakeโ€™s historic election contest trial against Maricopa County and Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

 

Jarrett also admitted that the same ballot printing issues present in the 2022 General Election occurred in the 2020 Primary Election, 2020 General Election, and the 2022 Primary Election.

 

Following Scott Jarrettโ€™s testimony, TGPโ€™s Jordan Conradson and RAVโ€™s Ben Bergquam confronted Jarrett and asked him if he was lying in court on Thursday or if he lied to authorities in 2020.

 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, cybersecurity expert Clay Parikh testified under oath that he inspected a sample of ballots, and it was โ€œeasily identifiableโ€ that nearly half of them were printed with a 19-inch ballot image on 20-inch paper. He also stated that this could not have happened accidentally or by coincidence, and this caused Election Day tabulators across Maricopa County to not read ballots, creating extremely long wait times for Election Day voters.

 

The issue of printing a 19-inch ballot image on a 20-inch ballot with incorrect timing marks was brought up when Jarrett testified Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Jarrett admitted on Thursday that they learned about this issue days after the election after stating on Wednesday that it never happened.

 

Jarrett was asked about the 19-inch ballot image, on Wednesday, and he responded, โ€œnone of the ballots on our ballot-on-demand printers had a 19-inch ballot. They all had a 20-inch ballot.โ€

 

Jarret later said that โ€œthe most recent electionโ€ where they used a 19-inch ballot image was the August 2022 Primary Election.

 

Real Americaโ€™s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam shared the following video of Jarrettโ€™s testimony, showing his materially conflicting statements under oath.
