At the start of the Biden regime, the Karamel-uh entity was put in charge of the U.S. border. She did nothing at all to secure any of it and, frankly, didn’t seem very interested in pretending to. As a result of her abysmal optics — including infamously dismissing never going to the border as no big deal because she’s also “never been to Europe” followed by an on-brand cackle — she was quietly removed from that role.

Via New York Post reporting from about a year ago, “Vice President Kamala Harris is supposedly the White House point on the border surge, but the issue has vanished from her schedule… she hasn’t hosted an immigration event in nine months.”

In the intervening months, the border crisis has gotten worse and Karamel-uh has word-saladed her way through dozens more cringe speeches, none of which have benefited her historically low approval rating.

For her new gig, Team Brandon recently saw fit to appoint its handpicked token minority executive to thead hoc role of Caribbean gun czar. Accordingly, she’s gallivanting across the Caribbean as an authority on national security and gun interdiction.

US Vice President Kamala Harris lamented yesterday that “too many people in all of our countries are dying from gun violence” and promised a dedicated position in the US Department of Justice to prosecute cases connected to gun trafficking in the Caribbean region. Harris was in The Bahamas to co-host a US-Caribbean Leaders Meeting at Atlantis.

She reiterated the US’ commitment to stemming the illegal flow of guns from her borders into this region. “We are committed to interdict shipments of firearms and ammunition and hold traffickers accountable,” Harris said. (They probably got a message that Ukraine arms are flowing through Haiti and they’ve got to stop the flow)

“And today, I am pleased to announce that the United States Department of Justice willcreate a new position, a Coordinator for Caribbean Firearms Prosecutions, which will help maximize information sharing between our countries to support the prosecution of traffickers.

If there’s one thing the Brandon entity hates, it’s illegal trafficking — except when Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram functions as a child-trafficking platform, about which neither Kamala nor anyone else in the regime has had very much to say. Maybe turning the blind eye is repayment in kind for Zuckerberg’s admitted censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Harris has also been tasked with assembling an “international force” to stabilize Haiti. Via The Miami Herald, “Vice President Kamala Harris will renew the Biden administration’s push for an international force to assist Haiti in its ongoing security crisis when she meets with Caribbean leaders in the Bahamas… the multilateral force could provide ‘near-term support’ for the Haitian National Police by securing ‘a limited number of critical infrastructure sites in Port-au-Prince, such as the airport and ports,’ relieving the burden on the local police to focus resources on its battle with gangs.”

JULY 9, 2014 – When NOAA environmental scientist Alyce Fritz talks about her first visit to the Metal Bank Superfund Site back in 1986, she always mentions the orphanage next door. St. Vincent's Orphans Asylum, as it was named when it was opened by the Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 1857, is separated from the Metal Bank site by a stormwater outfall that drains into the Delaware River just north of the former orphanage. The Metal Bank Superfund Site and St. Vincent's are located several miles north of the center of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the banks of the Delaware River in an industrial district that is part of the historic Tacony neighborhood. Located on 29 acres along the river, St. Vincent's looks like a beautiful old park. What Fritz remembers clearly on that first visit was the children's playground equipment placed near the river’s edge.

Part of the recycling process used by Metal Bank of America, Inc. involved draining oil—loaded with toxic compounds including PCBs—from the used transformers to reclaim copper parts. PCBs are considered a probable cause of cancer in humans and are harmful to clams and fish found in the mudflats and river next to the site. In the 1970s the U.S. Coast Guard discovered oil releases in the Delaware River and traced them back to the site. Throughout the 1980s, the Metal Bank site's owners used an oil recovery system to clear the groundwater of PCB-laced oil. However, oil continued to seep from an underground tank at the site. As a result, PCBs(link is external) and other hazardous substances were left in the soil, groundwater, and river bed sediments at the Metal Bank site and adjacent to St. Vincent's. In 1983 the Metal Bank site was placed on the National Priorities List(link is external) (the Superfund program) and slated for federal cleanup. During the course of the federal cleanup process, various parties were identified as being liable for the contamination at the site, including a number of utility companies that transported their used electrical transformers to the Metal Bank site for disposal or otherwise arranged to dispose of their used electrical transformers at the Metal Bank site. Federal and local agencies collaborated on a design for cleanup of multiple contaminants of concern at the Metal Bank site. Found in the soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water, these contaminants included but were not limited to:

PCBs.

polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (a toxic component of oil).

semi-volatile organic compounds.

pesticides.

metals.

The cleanup, which began in 2008, included excavating soils and river sediments contaminated with PCBs, capping some areas of river sediment, installing a retaining wall near the river, and removing an old transformer oil storage tank. Most of this work was completed in 2010.

As part of the required 5-year review period, monitoring of the Metal Bank site continues. This is to ensure the cleanup is still protecting human health and the environment, including endangered Atlantic Sturgeon and Shortnose Sturgeon. Through successful coordination among the EPA, other federal and state agencies, and some of the potentially responsible parties(link is external) (PRPs) during the Superfund process, the cleanup has reduced the threat to natural resources in the river and enhanced the recovery of the habitat along the site and St. Vincent's property. Over the years, the role of St. Vincent's has evolved too, from serving as a long-term home for orphans toward one of providing short-term shelter and care to abused and neglected children. Prior to the early 1990s, children who came to St. Vincent’s spent a significant part of their childhood as residents of the institution. In a 1992 article in the Philadelphia Daily News, Sister Kathleen Reilly explained that the children currently cared for by St. Vincent’s range in age from two to 12 years of age and are placed at the home temporarily through an arrangement between the City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services and Catholic Social Services. Today St. Vincent's serves young people mostly through day programs. One thing hasn't changed though—the lush grounds along the river are still beautiful

The federal and state co-trustees for the ongoing Natural Resource Damage Assessment at the Metal Bank site include NOAA’s Damage Assessment, Remediation, and Restoration Program; the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; and multiple Pennsylvania state agencies. Collectively, the trustees are working together to further engage with the potentially responsible parties and build upon what has been accomplished at the site by the cleanup. The trustees have invited the potentially responsible parties to join them in a cooperative effort to improve habitat for the injured natural resources (such as habitat along the river and wetlands) that support the clams, fish, and birds using the Delaware River. In addition, there is the potential for a trail to be routed through the property to a scenic view of St. Vincent's and the river (an area which is now safe for recreational use). The trustees hope that the natural resources at the Metal Bank site can evolve to become a vibrant part of the historic Tacony neighborhood once again too.

In a nationwide resistance, an overwhelming majority of gun owners targeted by President Joe Biden have opted to reject the administration’s far-reaching regulations on one of the most popular and freely owned firearms ever manufactured. Only a small minority—estimated to be between 0.6 percent and one percent—of AR-15-style pistol owners have complied with the May 31 deadline imposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to register their firearms. Those who fail to do so face severe consequences as a violation of U.S.C. 586, including the potential of a 10-year prison sentence, a $10,000 fine, or both. In the rule, the ATF also graciously points out that lying to an agency of the federal government may also be a violation of 18 U.S.C. 1001, which is punishable by a fine or imprisonment up to five years, or both.

AR pistols are AR-15-style firearms, without a traditional stock, and have a shorter barrel and overall length than a standard rifle. In 2012, Alex Bosco invented the pistol brace to assist a disabled veteran shoot an AR-15 more accurately. He later formed a company, SB Tactical, and partnered with SIG Sauer to market them. Pistol braces for disabled shooters, such as a forearm brace, that conform to the arm and do not act as a buttstock that can be shouldered like a rifle are not affected by this rule.

While the ATF had previously indicated that AR-15-style pistols equipped with arm braces were legal, the Biden administration chose to regulate them anyway. In an April House Judiciary Committee hearing, Republican Chairman Jim Jordan said to ATF Director Steven Dettelbach:

Jordan went on to tell the agency that they were making owners of the pistol brace devices into felons overnight. As the June 1 deadline has since passed, millions of braces are required to be detached, registered, or destroyed. According to ATF spokesman Erik Longnecker, as of June 1, 2023, the ATF has received 255,162 applications for tax-free registration. However, even if we consider the median number of guns in circulation, John Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center says:

The new regulations require owners to pay a $200 tax and submit fingerprints. In an attempt to encourage registration, the ATF temporarily waived the tax until May 31. However, the majority of owners have chosen to take their chances, hoping that the courts will overturn the ATF and Biden’s decision, just as they did with the ban on “bump stocks” during the Trump era.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump arrived in Florida on Monday ahead of a history-making federal court appearance on dozens of felony charges accusing him of illegally hoarding classified documents and thwarting the Justice Department’s efforts to get them back.

Trump’s Tuesday afternoon appearance in Miami will mark his second time since April facing a judge on criminal charges. But unlike a New York case some legal analysts derided as relatively trivial, the Justice Department’s first prosecution of a former president concerns conduct that prosecutors say jeopardized national security, with Espionage Act charges carrying the prospect of a significant prison sentence.

Ahead of his court date, he and his allies have been escalating efforts to undermine the criminal case against him and drum up protests. He’s ratcheted up the rhetoric against the Justice Department special counsel who filed the case, calling Jack Smith “deranged” as he repeated without any evidence his claims that he was the target of a political persecution. And even as his supporters accuse the Justice Department of being weaponized against him, he vowed Monday to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate President Joe Biden and his family if Trump is elected to a second term.

Trump landed in Miami around 3 p.m. Monday and got into a waiting SUV. He was expected to huddle with advisers before his court appearance, as he looks to line up additional lawyers following the departure before his indictment last week of two attorneys who had handled the defense for months.

He’s encouraged supporters to join a planned protest at the Miami courthouse Tuesday, where he will face the charges and surrender to authorities.

“We need strength in our country now,” Trump said Sunday, speaking to longtime friend and adviser Roger Stone in an interview on WABC Radio. “And they have to go out and they have to protest peacefully. They have to go out.”

“Look, our country has to protest. We have plenty to protest. We’ve lost everything,” he went on.

He also said there were no circumstances “whatsoever” under which he would leave the 2024 race, where he’s been dominating the Republican primary.

Fox News sent a cease-and-desist letter Monday to former host Tucker Carlson for allegedly breaking his contract with the cable TV news network by launching his own show on Twitter. 

Carlson's attorneys were informed last week that he breached his contract by launching his own show on Twitter, and the latest legal letter was confirmed on Twitter by Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney representing the commentator.

"My friend and client @TuckerCarlson will not be silenced — by the far left or by Fox News," Dhillon tweeted with a link to an Axios story about Fox's letter to Carlson.

Dhillon also said she will not appear on Fox until the network "stops trying to silence Tucker."

Military Arrests Jeff Sessions

White Hats on Monday arrested former Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the charge of treason for furthering the long-debunked Russian collusion scandal and, more recently, advising Merrick Garland on which Proud Boys and Oath Keepers to target for visiting the Capitol on January 6.

Sessions is an infamous figure in Trump world. He was among Trump’s most vocal supporters before his appointment on February 19, 2017. In his confirmation hearings, Sessions stated under oath that he did not have contact with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign and was unaware of any communication between Trump campaign members and Russian officials. As the collusion witch hunt kicked into gear, Sessions inexplicably recused himself from the investigation, essentially abandoning Trump.

When Trump fired Sessions on November 7, 2018, alternative media speculated that Sessions’ ouster was either part of Trump’s master plan (some claimed Trump secretly sent Sessions to GITMO to prosecute Deep Staters) or the dismissal of an actual Deep State plant. Afterward, President Trump said Sessions was “VERY weak and DISGRACEFUL.”

White Hats now believe the 76-year-old former attorney general and senator was and still is a Deep State operative. They say Sessions, lurking in the shadows, aided Merrick Garland in prosecuting innocent, patriotic Americans who visited the People’s House on January 6.

Our sources would not disclose their entirety of evidence but said JAG has voice conversations and digital data in which Sessions and Garland discussed arresting Stewart Rhoades, Enrique Tarrio, and 15 other Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley on Monday announced that the foreign national who allegedly bribed then-former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter kept recordings of his conversations with each as an "insurance policy."

"The 1023 produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings," Grassley said on the Senate floor. Fifteen audio recordings include conversations between him and Hunter Biden while two include conversations between him and Joe Biden.

"These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot. The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden," he continued.

A source familiar with the matter told Just the News that the FD-1023 memorializes the conversation between the Burisma executive and the FBI's confidential human source in which he told the source he was in possession of the recordings. Those recordings are not included in the record, however.

In his remarks, Grassley pointed to the FD-1023 form that members of the House Oversight Committee were recently permitted to view by the FBI, but noted that the bureau still redacted parts of the unclassified document.

"More than that, the FBI made Congress review a redacted unclassified document in a classified facility. That goes to show you the disrespect the FBI has for Congress," he added (emphasis original).

The FD-1023 includes allegations from a confidential human source that the head of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, hired Hunter Biden to serve on its board in order to use his father's influence to stifle an investigation from then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin into the firm. Shokin was removed from his post in 2016 and the FD-1023 indicates that two Biden family members received $5 million each for their trouble.
