Photographers working for AP, CNN, NYT, and Reuters were embedded with Hamas on October 7 terror attack and accompanied the terrorist group into Israel. They knew the attack was coming, and participated in it.

 

The names of the photographers, which appear on other sources, have been removed from some of the photos on AP’s database. Perhaps someone at the agency realized it posed serious questions regarding their journalistic ethics.

 

On October 7, Hamas terrorists were not the only ones who documented the war crimes they had committed during their deadly rampage across southern Israel. Some of their atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working…

On October 7, Hamas terrorists were not the only ones who documented the war crimes they had committed during their deadly rampage across southern Israel. Some of their atrocities were captured by Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies whose early morning presence at the breached border area raises serious ethical questions.

 

What were they doing there so early on what would ordinarily have been a quiet Saturday morning? Was it coordinated with Hamas? Did the respectable wire services, which published their photos, approve of their presence inside enemy territory, together with the terrorist infiltrators? Did the photojournalists who freelance for other media, like CNN and The New York Times, notify these outlets? Judging from the pictures of lynching, kidnapping and storming of an Israeli kibbutz, it seems like the border has been breached not only physically, but also journalistically.

 

Four names appear on AP’s photo credits from the Israel-Gaza border area on October 7: Hassan Eslaiah, Yousef Masoud, Ali Mahmud, and Hatem Ali.

 

Eslaiah, a freelancer who also works for CNN, crossed into Israel, took photos of a burning Israeli tank, and then captured infiltrators entering Kibbutz Kfar Azza.

 

HonestReporting has obtained screenshots of Eslaiah’s now-removed tweets on X in which he documented himself standing in front of the Israeli tank. He did not wear a press vest or a helmet, and the Arabic caption of his tweet read: “Live from inside the Gaza Strip settlements.”

 

Masoud, who also works for The New York Times, was there as well — just in time to set foot in Israeli territory and take more tank pictures.

 

Ali Mahmud and Hatem Ali were positioned to get pictures of the horrific abductions of Israelis into Gaza.

As a member of the Seventy, he supervised and trained leaders in his assigned geographic regions. He later served as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy from February 1980 to October 1985, overseeing the Church’s Quorums of the Seventy. Much of his ministry has been focused on missionary work.

Harvey Francis Barnard, a Louisiana graduate in systems philosophy, and an engineering consultant and teacher, created the NESARA proposal during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He printed 1000 copies of his proposal, titled Draining the Swamp: Monetary and Fiscal Policy Reform (1996), and sent copies to members of Congress, believing it would pass quickly on its merits. Based on a theory that debt is the number one economic factor inhibiting the growth of the economy, and compound interest the number one "moral evil" and reason for debt, Barnard made several other attempts during the 1990s to draw political attention to the problems he saw in the US economy, and his suggested economic recovery proposal based on the root causes he determined. Stablecoins do not live up to their name, economists and analysts at the Bank for International Settlements said in a report published on Wednesday.

 

 

"Not one of the stablecoins assessed in this paper has been able to maintain their closing prices in parity with their peg," the paper from the international organization said. Stablecoins are usually pegged to assets like the U.S. dollar.

Stop Drinking the Political Kool-Aid, America: Voting Will Not Save Us

 

We are one year out from the 2024 presidential election and as usual, the American people remain eager to be persuaded that a new president in the White House can solve the problems that plague us.

 

Yet what is being staged is not an election.

 

It’s a con game, a scam, a grift, a hustle, a bunko, a swindle, a flimflam, a gaffle, and a bamboozle, and “we the people” are nothing more than marks, suckers, stooges, mugs, rubes, or gulls.

 

We’re being duped into believing that this mockery of a choice between two candidates who are equally unfit for office actually translates to having some say in how the government is run.

 

To the contrary, this particular con game is part of a long-running, elaborate scam to keep the Deep State in power and leave the populace deluded, distracted and incapable of demanding accountability, transparency and decency from the government and its cohorts.

 

Politics is entertainment.

 

It is a heavily scripted, tightly choreographed, star-studded, ratings-driven, mass-marketed, costly exercise in how to sell a product—in this case, a presidential candidate—to dazzled consumers who will choose image over substance almost every time.

 

This year’s presidential election, much like every other election in recent years, is what historian Daniel Boorstin referred to as a “pseudo-event”: manufactured, contrived, confected and devoid of any intrinsic value save the value of being advertised. It is the end result of a culture that is moving away from substance toward sensationalism in an era of mass media.

 

As author Noam Chomsky rightly observed, “It is important to bear in mind that political campaigns are designed by the same people who sell toothpaste and cars.”

 

In other words, we’re being sold a carefully crafted product by a monied elite who are masters in the art of making the public believe that they need exactly what is being sold to them, whether it’s the latest high-tech gadget, the hottest toy, or the most charismatic politician.

 

Politics is a reality show, America’s favorite form of entertainment, dominated by money and profit, imagery and spin, hype and personality and guaranteed to ensure that nothing in the way of real truth reaches the populace.

 

After all, who cares about police shootings, drone killings, SWAT team raids, asset forfeiture schemes, private prisons, school-to-prison pipelines, overcriminalization, censorship or any of the other evils that plague our nation when you can be sucked into an alternate reality so emotionally charged and entertaining as to make you forget that you live in a police state.

 

But make no mistake: Americans only think they’re choosing the next president.

 

In truth, however, they’re engaging in the illusion of participation culminating in the reassurance ritual of voting. It’s just another Blue Pill, a manufactured reality conjured up by the matrix in order to keep the populace compliant and convinced that their vote counts and that they still have some influence over the political process.

The nation is drowning in debt, crippled by a slowing economy, overrun by militarized police, swarming with surveillance, besieged by endless wars and a military industrial complex intent on starting new ones, and riddled with corrupt politicians at every level of government.

 

All the while, we’re arguing over which corporate puppet will be given the honor of stealing our money, invading our privacy, abusing our trust, undermining our freedoms, and shackling us with debt and misery for years to come.

 

Nothing taking place on any Election Day will alleviate the suffering of the American people.

 

The government as we have come to know it—corrupt, bloated and controlled by big-money corporations, lobbyists and special interest groups—will remain unchanged. And “we the people”—overtaxed, overpoliced, overburdened by big government, underrepresented by those who should speak for us and blissfully ignorant of the prison walls closing in on us—will continue to trudge along a path of misery.

 

Corporate greed will continue to call the shots in the nation’s capital, while our elected representatives will grow richer and the people poorer. And elections will continue to be driven by war chests and corporate benefactors rather than such values as honesty, integrity and public service. Just consider: it’s estimated that more than $10 billion will be spent on the elections this year, yet not a dime of that money will actually help the average American in their day-to-day struggles to just get by.

 

And the military industrial complex will continue to bleed us dry. Since 9/11, we’ve spent more than $8 trillion to wage wars abroad. Although the U.S. constitutes barely 5% of the world's population, America boasts almost 40% of the world's total military expenditure, spending more on the military than the next 10 biggest spending nations combined. Even with America’s military might spread thin, the war drums continue to sound as the Pentagon polices the rest of the world with counterterror activities in 85 countries.

Americans should be mad as hell.

 

Many of our politicians live like kings. Chauffeured around in limousines, flying in private jets and eating gourmet meals, all paid for by the American taxpayer, they are far removed from those they represent. Such a luxurious lifestyle makes it difficult to identify with the “little guy”—the roofers, plumbers and blue-collar workers who live from paycheck to paycheck and keep the country running with their hard-earned dollars and the sweat of their brows.

 

Conveniently, politicians only seem to remember their constituents in the months leading up to an election, and yet “we the people” continue to take the abuse, the neglect, the corruption and the lies. We make excuses for the shoddy treatment, we cover up for them when they cheat on us, and we keep hoping that if we just stick with them long enough, eventually they’ll treat us right.

 

People get the government they deserve.

 

No matter who wins the presidential election next year, it’s a sure bet that the losers will be the American people.

 

As political science professor Gene Sharp notes in starker terms, “Dictators are not in the business of allowing elections that could remove them from their thrones.”

Oregon just dropped all graduation standards, failing all of its students in the name of ‘equity’

 

In public education’s latest blunder, the Oregon Department of Education has just decided that basic reading, writing and math skills are not required for students to graduate with a high school diploma.

 

Prior to the passage of Senate Bill 744 in the Oregon Legislative Assembly’s 2021 session, the state’s “Assessment of Essential Skills” requirement for high school graduation was sensible: “read and comprehend a variety of text, write clearly and accurately,” and “apply mathematics in a variety of settings.” Students were required to demonstrate these skills by “earning at or above a cut score on the Oregon Statewide Summative Assessment test.”

 

Citing the effects of COVID-19 school closures, however, SB 744 required the state to review “requirements for high school diploma options.” To address learning-loss throughout the pandemic, the bill led to the suspension of Oregon’s essential skills proficiency requirement through the 2023-24 school year.

 

Last month, Oregon’s State Board of Education voted unanimously to adopt an additional extension of this suspension through the 2027-28 school year. Board members, alongside Oregon Department of Education leadership, argued that requiring students to complete standardized tests both presented a “harmful hurdle for historically marginalized students” and represents a misuse of state tests.

 

The Oregon Education Association (OEA), the union representing more than 40,000 teachers throughout the state, is a like-minded opponent of standardized testing. “Standardized tests are inaccurate, inequitable, and don’t accurately measure student learning and growth,” it declares. Further, the union labels standardized tests like Oregon’s Statewide Summative Assessment as “instruments of racism and a biased system.”

 

With this in mind, the OEA’s role in the development of SB 744 is unsurprising. The OEA Special Education Committee “helped to develop…and helped OEA pass…Senate Bill 744 during the last legislative session.” Further, the union brags that SB 744 “passed with OEA member support in the 2021 session” due to “several equity concerns” surrounding Oregon’s essential skill requirements.

 

Since Oregon abandoned its essential skill requirements for high schoolers, graduation rates have skyrocketed. With a graduation rate of 81.3 percent, Oregon’s class of 2022 set a record for the second highest four-year graduation rate ever recorded in the state. Unfortunately, this is not indicative of student skills. Only 43 percent of students in that year’s graduating class were proficient in English, and less than 31 percent were proficient in math.

 

The OEA’s mission statement is clear. In addition to representing its members, the union makes a commitment to “ensure quality public education for students in Oregon.” By advocating for policies that do not require students to learn basic language and math skills in order to graduate, the OEA, alongside the State Board of Education, has placed Oregonian graduates at a significant disadvantage while substantially lowering the quality of public education.

 

The OEA’s falling membership rate — down 4.4 percent from 2020 to 2022 — indicates that teachers in Oregon have begun to realize the destructive impact of teachers’ unions that consistently prioritize ideology over the success of teachers and students.

 

As Oregon considers additional changes to public education, parents and teachers should hold the state accountable while paying close attention to groups like the OEA, which are not only complicit in but actively contributing to the bleak future of public education in their state.

Perdue believes it has a clever way to combat criticism about chicken production: sell humans practically the same food it feeds its chickens.

 

The company has created “Chix Mix,” a new snack that is “made from most of the same ingredients” that’s in the company’s chicken feed.

Chix Mix likely isn’t going to become a revenue driver for the 103-year-old brand. Instead, Chix Mix is designed as a marketing opportunity as the industry faces controversy about antibiotics in chicken feed and treatment of its animals.

 

Perdue’s chicken feed contains grains, primarily consisting of corn and soybeans and is mixed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids to “ensure a nutritionally balanced diet,” according to its website. Unlike some of its competitors, Perdue does not use antibiotics in its the vast majority of its chicken feed.

 

Chix Mix is similar: The snack contains corn, wheat puffs and edamame, but with a dash of barbecue spices “just for humans,” a release said. Humans can order the limited-edition snack for free on November 17 at 12:00 pm ET.

Chicken concerns

 

In 2014, Perdue removed “routine use of all human antibiotics” amid concerns that they could be putting human health at risk. Other chicken producers, like Tyson Foods, enacted similar policies around the same time.

 

The food industry had been under pressure from consumers and public safety advocates to come up with alternative ways to keep poultry healthy. The use of antibiotics to treat sick chickens, making the medicine less effective in humans, raised concerns about contributing to the spread of drug-resistant bacteria.

 

However, the removal of human antibiotics hasn’t been a successful initiative for Tyson — a fact that Perdue notes on the Chix Mix site with a veiled knock at its “biggest competitor” without specifically naming them.

 

Tyson, the country’s largest poultry producer, recently announced that it will once again use certain antibiotics in its chickens, eight years after it announced plans to ditch the drugs in some of its production and slapped a “no antibiotics ever” label on its packaging.

 

The company said the antibiotics it plans to use in chicken production are not important to the treatment of humans. About half of US poultry farmers use some form of antibiotics to help keep chickens healthy, it also noted.

For Perdue, offering Chix Mix is a way to partially remind people of Tyson’s change as they begin to see its rival’s new antibiotic label.

 

“We believe you are what you eat, and at a critical point in time when competitors are going back to using preventative antibiotics, we want to reinforce our commitment to feeding our chickens, and your family, clean food,” said David Zucker, executive vice president of marketing at Perdue, in the Chix Mix press release.

Rimac's New Top Speed Record Is Ass-Backwards — Literally

The Guinness World Records has declared that this supercar is now the world's fastest car traveling backwards.

 

Back in the late-1960s, the fastest car on sale in the world was the beautiful Lamborghini Muira, offering a claimed top speed of around 170 mph from its mid-mounted V-12. It's been dubbed by many over the years, appropriately so, as the world's first true supercar. Fast forward to today, and the Rimac Nevera plays a similar role in today's world, offering seemingly unmatched levels of performance in an emerging but promising sports car market of new super-EVs. Except, in that time jump from Muira to Nevera, technology has developed in such a way that our heroes of the past are only left to serve as mockery for the achievements of today, as the Nevera has just destroyed the Muira's speed record with minimal modifications by simply driving in a straight line backwards.

 

Rimac's Record Of Records

 

Rimac loves to set records. Last year, the all-electric Rimac Nevera coupe was labeled the world's fastest production EV after hitting a top speed of 256 mph (the standard Nevera is "limited" to a production-spec top speed of 219 mph, but Rimac will unlock the car for customers in the right circumstances). This year, Rimac has been busy further establishing the Nevera's record of dominance. The EV sports car set a blistering record 7:05.298 Nürburgring track lap time (beating Tesla's previous record effort by an entire 20 seconds), set a new record for the timed Supercar Shootout during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and went on to set 23 other records in a single day that are too many to mention again here but that includes the quickest-ever 0-249 mph time.

 

The only Nevera record that's been beaten by a competitor is the claimed quarter mile time: the Nevera's record of 8.582 seconds was only improved upon by the Pininfarina Battista EV supercar's new record time of 8.55 seconds earlier this year, which is almost too close to count considering the different testing conditions (and both cars happen to share extremely similar hardware).

 

Rimac Nevera EV Sets Reverse Record

 

On October 7, 2023, Croatian driver Goran Drndak piloted a Rimac Nevera in its familiar Time Attack Edition livery (that was available on a limited run of 12 production units to celebrate prior set records) to a record reverse top speed of 171.34 mph at the same Automotive Testing Papenburg facility in Germany that hosted Rimac's other record tests, with a Guinness representative on hand to validate the results. Inspiration for the record came early on in vehicle development, with simulations showing the vehicle could potentially achieve speeds over 150 mph in reverse, but the team wasn't sure how the car would handle the aerodynamics.

 

Here's what driver Drndak experienced from the hot seat: "On the run itself, it definitely took some getting used to. You're facing straight out backwards watching the scenery flash away from you faster and faster, feeling your neck pulled forwards in almost the same sensation you would normally get under heavy braking. You're moving the steering wheel so gently, careful not to upset the balance, watching for your course and your braking point out the rear-view mirror, all the while keeping an eye on the speed. Despite it being almost completely unnatural to way the car was engineered, Nevera breezed through yet another record." Looking for a braking point in a rear-view mirror at 170-mph speeds sounds like a fun new challenge to try some day.

Back in July, when we last looked at the unprecedented horror show that is the US budget deficit - and concluded correctly, long before the Q2 Quarterly Refunding Announcement,  that debt issuance was about to explode and yields would soar - we warned that the debt Rubicon was about to be crossed and "US Debt Interest Payments Are About To Hit $1 Trillion."

Fast forward to today when the endgame has apparently arrived: according to the Treasury's own calculations, total interest is now over $1 trillion(or $1.027 trillion to be precise).

 

We calculated this by multiplying the average interest rate on marketable US Treasury debt (which according to the Treasury is 3.096% as of Oct 31) by the $26.003 trillion in marketable US debt (as of Oct 31) which nets off to $805 billion, and adding to this non-marketable debt interest (which as of Oct 31 was 2.884% multiplied by the amount of non-marketable debt which is $7.696 trillion) and which in turn is an additional $222 billion in interest. Add across and you get $1.027 trillion. Naturally, this calculation of estimated real-time interest costs - which is entirely based on Treasury data - is different than what the Treasury actually paid. Interest costs in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30 ultimately totaled $879.3 billion, up from $717.6 billion the previous year and about 14% of total outlays, however that number is merely lagging what the pro forma print currently is, and will inevitably catch up to it, and then lag on the other side even as pro forma interest payment start dropping (once interest rates plunge after the next QE/YCC is launched)which I will add have been predicting in here for some time nao…they simply have no choice because they played the “let’s ignore it” game remember “it’s transitory”?although they likely did that so they could play the waiting game to start the raises only to begin to lower them heading into the ‘meat’ of the election season (hat tip to Charles Payne as only other person-at the same time-that echoed those thoughts. Huber Heights man sentenced to 50 years in prison for child exploitation crimes involving more than 175 victims

 

DAYTON, Ohio – A Huber Heights, Ohio, man was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 600 months in prison for crimes related to creating hundreds of images and videos of child pornography by victimizing children as young as 6 years old over a 15-year period.

 

Ty Brandon Roberts, 38, pleaded guilty in February 2023 to producing child pornography and coercing minors.

 

“From California to New York, Texas to Illinois, Washington to Florida, the United Kingdom to Australia, no minors anywhere were safe from Roberts so long as Roberts had access to the Internet. It stops now in the Southern District of Ohio,” said U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker. “Roberts was opportunistic; his victims ranged in age from 6 to 17 years old. They were white, Black, Hispanic and Native American. They were male and female. In all, FBI agents fully identified 57 minors whom Roberts coerced into producing 502 distinct images and videos of child pornography.”

 

Roberts’ child pornography includes 120 more victims depicted in an additional 216 distinct files who remain unidentified to this day.

 

According to court documents, beginning in 2007, Roberts exploited young victims online and sexually abused victims in person. Roberts used two schemes to coerce minors into creating child pornography. One scheme was bribing young minors with video game gift cards to online games such as “Fortnite” in exchange for sexually explicit images and videos. The second scheme Roberts used was pretending to be a teenaged girl online to entice and coerce minors to send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves. He also committed hands-on sexual offenses to at least three minor victims.

 

For example, between 2007 and 2008, Roberts sexually abused an 11-to-12-year-old boy and took photos of the abuse on a Polaroid camera. Roberts eventually created digital images of the Polaroids and kept the original Polaroids in his home until law enforcement seized them in 2022.

 

Roberts possessed more than 11,000 child pornography images in total.

The Justice Department on Wednesday announced arrests in a high-end brothel network used by elected officials, military officers, doctors and more.

 

“Three individuals have been arrested in connection with operating sophisticated high-end brothels in greater Boston and eastern Virginia. Commercial sex buyers allegedly included elected officials, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, attorneys, scientists and accountants, among others,” the US Attorney’s Office of the District of Massachusetts said.

 

According to the DOJ, the following defendants have been charged with conspiracy to coerce and entice to travel to engage in illegal sexual activity:

 

Han Lee, a/k/a “Hana,” 41, of Cambridge, Mass.;

James Lee, 68, of Torrance, Calif.; and

Junmyung Lee, 30, of Dedham, Mass.

 

According to the charging documents, the defendants operated an interstate prostitution network with multiple brothels from July 2020 to present in Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts, as well as in Fairfax and Tysons, Virginia.

 

The US Attorney’s Office did not disclose the client list.

 

“This case goes back to the summer of 2022 when investigators identified several buyers through surveillance phone records and interviews,” Acting US Attorney for Massachusetts, Joshua Levy said. “The buyers who made up this ring hail from an array of professions.”

 

He added: “They are doctors, they are lawyers, they are accountants, they are elected officials, they are executives of high tech companies and pharmaceutical companies, they are military officers, government contractors, professors, scientists. They are the men who fuel this commercial sex ring.”

 

“There are potentially hundreds of individuals who took these services as commercial sex buyers,” Levy said, noting the investigation is still in its early stages.

 

“Alleged prospective sex buyers in this scheme first had to respond to a survey and provide information online, including their driver’s license photos, their employer information, credit card information, and they often paid a monthly fee to be part of this.”

Multiple agencies in the Grand Valley area underwent a sting operation last week, targeting an undercover internet sex predator ring operation. Ten men have been arrested and accused of using the internet to solicit children for sex.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, the Grand Junction Police Department, the Palisade Police Department, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office of Utah, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Colorado State Patrol, the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and Homeland Security took part in the arrests.

When this order was brought to the more aggressive Nelson's attention, he lifted his telescope up to his blind eye, saying, "I have a right to be blind sometimes. I really do not see the signal," and most of his forces continued to press home the attack.[2][3] The frigates supporting the line-of-battle ships did break off, in one case suffering severe losses in the retreat.[4]

 

There is a misconception that the order was to be obeyed at Nelson's discretion, but this is contradicted by the fact that it was a general order to all the attacking ships (some of whom did break off), and that later that day Nelson openly stated that he had "fought contrary to orders". Sir Hyde Parker was recalled in disgrace and Nelson appointed Commander-in-Chief of the fleet following the battle.[4]

Fair point anon. To me, it is earned by choosing YESHUA , repenting and then eternal life is given; Heaven. So we are on the same page. I could have worded it better.

 

How is eternal life granted? To understand this one must separate the spirit from the flesh. We can do this right now as we think. Once separated, it is easy to understand how the body (flesh) dies and the spirit (soul) lives on.
