An X post trolling Selena Gomez over a recent act she put on and humorously questioning whether or not she should be deported has elicited a response from the actress, who called it a “threat.”

The over-dramatization is nothing new.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Selena Gomez, in a since-deleted clip, put her trump derangement syndrome on full display, sobbing over Trump’s quest to remove criminal aliens from America.

“I just want to say that I’m so sorry,” she sobbed. “All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand.”

“I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise,” she said hysterically.

She apparently cares more about the murderers of Laken Riley, Rachel Morrin, Jocelyn Nungary, and countless others than the families of brutally murdered alien crime victims.

Sam Parker, a one-time Senate candidate from Utah, posted the clip on his personal X account, accurately pointing out that Gomez is the descendant of illegal aliens and questioning whether "Selena should be deported, too."

"Selena Gomez picked illegals over America b/c she's the 3rd gen descendent of Mexican illegals who received citizenship in the '87 Amnesty. She has an entitlement attitude toward America, like her illegal g'parents. Maybe Selena should be deported, too?" Parker said:

Selena has been very vocal in the past about her family's journey to the US and the fact that her aunt crossed the border from Mexico hidden in the back of a truck in the 70s.

Her grandparents, Mary and Ricardo Gomez, soon followed from Monterrey and Selena's father Ricardo Joel Gomez was born in Texas soon after they arrived in the States.

“It took 17 years for my grandparents to get citizenship,” Gomez has said, according to the LA Times. It appears that Parker's X post, claiming that Gomez's grandparents only became citizens through mass amnesty in 1987, is likely accurate.

This apparently struck a nerve with Gomez, who responded on her Instagram story, saying, "Oh Mr. Parker, Mr. Parker. Thanks for the laugh and the threat."

However, the last laugh goes to Sam Parker after his post unintentionally went viral with near-wall-to-wall coverage. "The internet is wild, fam. One morning sh*t post, and next thing you know you're in Daily Mail headlines with Selena Gomez," Parker said in one post.

US Senate blocks bill to impose sanctions on International Criminal Court

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Legislation that would have imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court in protest of its arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister was blocked in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday.

The chamber voted 54-45 in favor of the bill, meaning the measure, which had already passed the Republican-majority House of Representatives, could not get the 60 "yes" votes needed in the 100-member Senate to advance.

The vote was largely along party lines, with almost every Democrat and independent voting against. Senator John Fetterman was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans to advance the measure. Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff did not vote.

The "Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act" would have imposed sanctions on any foreigner who investigates, arrests, detains or prosecutes U.S. citizens or those of an allied country, including Israel, who are not members of the court.

It passed the House earlier this month 243-140, as 45 Democrats joined Republicans in voting "yes."

In the Senate, Democrats said they agreed with much of the bill, but said it was too broad, and risked alienating important U.S. allies and imposing sanctions on lower level workers at the court in the Netherlands.

Urging colleagues to vote "no," Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer accused the ICC of having "an anti-Israel bias that cannot be ignored." However, he said the bill was poorly crafted and also could target U.S. companies, such as those whose products help protect the court from foreign hackers.

How It Works

The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution guarantees that no person “shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” This constitutional protection can be used in a variety of circumstances when an individual is under investigation by authorities or asked to testify.

According to the Constitution Annotated from the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court confirmed in several decisions from 1955 that witnesses in congressional investigations can invoke the protections of the Self-Incrimination Clause

It is widely believed by numerous legal scholars that a conflict exists between the Fifth Amendment’s Self-Incrimination Clause and the president’s pardon powers.

This precedent dates back to the 1896 Supreme Court decision Brown v. Walker. According to the National Constitution Center, Justice Henry Billings Brown found that if a “witness has already received a pardon, he cannot longer set up his [Fifth Amendment] privilege, since he stands, with respect to such offense, as if it had never been committed.”

President Woodrow Wilson granted a full pardon to George Burdick, a newspaper editor, even though Burdick was not charged with a crime. The Constitution Center reported that Wilson’s pardon may have been made in an effort to compel Burdick to testify since Burdick could not “take the Fifth” if he received a pardon under the Brown precedent. Instead, Burdick refused to accept Wilson’s pardon, and then he was held in contempt when questioned again by Congress and cited the Fifth Amendment.

But a person can still plead the Fifth Amendment if he or she could face criminal prosecution under a state level charge that a federal pardon does not cover.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says the Senate needs to investigate President Trump’s decision to end his former national security adviser John Bolton’s personal security protection.

Bolton, who clashed with Trump at the end of his first term, had been under Secret Service protection because of a threat on his life from Iran.

Graham, during an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” argued the U.S. government can’t leave former national security officials “hanging” after they’ve confronted one of the nation’s adversaries, such as Iran.

And he said the Senate needs to get involved and figure out why Bolton and Trump’s former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo lost their personal security details.

“Whether you like Bolton or anybody else, we need to make sure that if you serve in our government and you take a foreign power at the request of the administration, that we do not leave you hanging,” Graham told CNN’s Dana Bash.

“The Senate needs to look at what happened and sit down and figure out what’s the best way forward,” he said.

He said Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told him that the threat against Bolton and other former national security officials “seemed to be real.”

“And I don’t want to leave them hanging. It makes it hard to recruit people in the future,” he said.

Graham warned that Trump needs to think of the potential consequences if one of the officials who lost their personal security protection were to get seriously injured or killed by an assassin. (Bullshit, he’s worried about his collaboration with Bidan in Ukraine and many other evils designs. Graham is the target now.)

“And, you know, if something happened to these people and, you know, President Trump needs to think about, you know, getting people to serve in the future. Owning that decision,” he said.

An armed man arrested at the U.S. Capitol said he planned to kill Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and burn down The Heritage Foundation, federal authorities say.

Ryan Michael English, 24, of Massachusetts, was found with a knife and two Molotov cocktails onMonday afternoon near the south door of the Capitol, U.S. District Court records say.

“I’d like to turn myself in,” English said after he approached a U.S. Capitol Police officer, the records say.

Officers detained and searched him and found he had a folding knife, a lighter and two 50-mililiter bottles of vodka with a gray cloth attached to the top.

English told officers he went to the Capitol to kill Bessent, who was being confirmed as Treasury secretary. He said he had more Molotov cocktails in his car.

He said he left home on Sunday with the intention to kill Hegseth, who he called a “Nazi,” and Johnson, as well as burn down The Heritage Foundation. He said he aimed to “depose” the officials and send a message, records say.

As English headed to D.C., he stopped at a library in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and saw Reddit posts about Bessent’s

English considered lighting the Molotov cocktails and throwing them at Bessent’s feet.

His car was found in the 900 block of Independence Avenue SW. Officers searched the car and found a 750-mililiter bottle of vodka and a gray sweatshirt with cloth cut from the sleeves. The cloth matched what officers found on the Molotov cocktails in English’s pockets.

In English’s pockets, officers also found a letter of apology to a woman written on the back of a receipt.

“Dear god I am so sorry. You must understand I can feel myself dying slowly b/c of my heart. This is terrible but I cant do nothing while nazis kill my sisters. I love you. This is awful. Im so sorry. I love u,” it said, in part.

English said he would have stabbed Bessent if he were able to get close to him. After looking at security at the Capitol,English thought he would have to kill at least three officers to be able to get to Bessent. He realized he might be killed by police during the attack.

English is accused of weapons possession and carrying a weapon on Capitol grounds.
