Where is Big MIke?

Kiah Duggins who died in the DC plane crash was involved with Michelle Obamas "Let Girls Learn" program that was funded by USAID.

Montgomery proudly recalls many of the “amazing” things Duggins was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time, adding that she “was an intern with First Lady Michelle Obama.”

She held the position in 2016 for the Let Girls Learn initiative, according to the Wichita Eagle.

Let Girls Learn leverages resources across the U.S. Government and has resulted in investments for adolescent girls’ education around the world that are coordinated, effective, and sustainable. Supported by both the President and the First Lady and coordinated by National Security Council staff, Let Girls Learn draws from the diverse expertise of six U.S. Government Agencies – the Department of State and its programs like the President’s Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR); the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); the Peace Corps; the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC); and most recently, the Department of Labor (DOL), and the Department of Agriculture (USDA).

EU states ‘fed up’ with von der Leyen – Politico

Members are increasingly dissatisfied with the European Commission chief’s failure to consult them on foreign policy decisions, according to the outlet

EU member states are growing frustrated with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen over her unilateral approach to foreign policy, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing diplomats. The latest criticism reportedly comes after von der Leyen announced a partnership agreement with Jordan.

The deal was inked last week following talks between von der Leyen and King Abdullah II. It aims to assist Jordan in facing the socio-economic impact of the Syrian crisis and broaden avenues for investments and business opportunities in the Arab country. The deal will be complemented by €3 billion ($3.1 billion) in financial resources, comprising grants, investments, and macro-financial assistance.

However, according to two sources who spoke to Politico, von der Leyen made the decision to allocate the funds to Jordan without consulting EU member nations.

“We were confronted with a fait accompli while we’re the ones footing the bill,” an EU diplomat who spoke on condition of anonymity told the news outlet.

“It’s not the first time von der Leyen pulls a stunt like this because she wants to make nice with world leaders. [Member countries] are increasingly fed up with it,” he added. The source did not mention other instances when the commission chief had failed to discuss her decisions with EU members.

According to the report, there has been much discontent over von der Leyen’s power-grabbing tactics, especially in foreign policy– an area traditionally managed by the European Council and the EU’s high representative for foreign affairs.

“Ursula von der Leyen has been grabbing the [smallest] crumb of foreign power on every occasion,” MEP Nacho Sanchez Amor told the news outlet. He argued that the growing concentration of foreign policy decisions within the European Commission runs counter to the bloc’s foundational treaties, according to which foreign policy should remain under the purview of member states.

“We have assumed uncritically that foreign policy is bending towards the commission, and this is not the treaties’ framework,” he said, calling for a formal debate on the issue.

Von der Leyen’s centralized approach has reportedly been a point of contention since her first term, resulting in strained relationships with former European Council President Charles Michel and the bloc’s former top diplomat, Josep Borrell. Prior to von der Leyen’s reelection for the top job last year, there were also reports that manyEU states were dissatisfied with her excessive focus on climate and the weakening economy, along with nepotism and non-transparency of her policies. Von der Leyen has changed her agenda since being reelected in June, placing more emphasis on the bloc’s competitiveness and defense.

How big is the divorce industry nowdays?

What is the salary of a professional divorcer?

The freemeal industry and onlyfans sector are growing, but we need some numbers on the pro-divorcers. How do I contract a pro-divorcer or become a sponsor?

I already invest in pet toy companies, boxed-wine manufacturers, cosmetics and plastic surgery. Any other ideas?

I sometimes watch these sloppy carvlogs of women crying "where are all the good men at?". But my positions aren't heavily divorce-biz yet. Got any ideas guys? I was watching "best countries for prostitution" but sex-robots seem tempting too. I work as a zogbot in gaza and I will likely die here but I need somewhere to put my grandmoms savings. Any ideas?

Good! Entire Corrupt USAID Staff Placed On Administrative Leave, Propaganda Funding CUT!

RELATED: >>>/newsplus/313971

As of February 4, 2025, the ENTIRE STAFF of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been placed on Administrative Leave. Memo below.

Confidential sources confirm that what has already been found in the financial records of USAID, by the folks from Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is so startling, so shocking, so irredeemable, the decision has been made to terminate the entire staff of USAID.

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/news-selections/national-news/entire-usaid-staff-placed-on-administrative-leave

The Trump administration has begun calling back to the United States, all USAID staff on worldwide "assignments." ALL OF THEM!

This is the actual dismantling of one of the key assets of the "Deep State" that has been causing so much trouble around the world for decades.

First, the money was cut-off last week. Then, the auditing began by the Department of Government Efficiency, which found so many shocking, stunning, unbelievable expenditures, it quickly became clear the ENTIRE Agency could not be reformed: it had to be wiped out.

Apparently, the Deep State, including the Senior Executive Service, had no idea how motivated they made Donald Trump with all their shenanigans during his first term, and all their lawfare - and trying to KILL HIM twice – in the four years of the illegitimate Biden Administration.

Trump had four years to research, strategize, plan, and now… implement. And it looks to many people like he is systematically dismantling the entire Deep State. Thank God.

Politico.com reporters haven’t been paid. Quite a coincidence after USAID payments were suspended.

Pro-globalist neo-con news outlets across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa are facing similar problems.

Was Politico funded by USAID, or is this just a coincidence? From Politico to their staff about the Payroll Issue:

The North Atlantic Fellas Organization, purportedly a grass-roots of Ukraine Supporters, is going silent after its GOVERNMENT FUNDING from USAID got cut off! Turns out, it wasn't "Grass-roots" at all: it was Government Paid Propaganda.

Thousands of people online rallied to Ukraine's cause when war broke out between Russia and Ukraine. The grass-roots groundswell was so fast, and so large, they even adopted a name for themselves: The North Atlantic Fellas Organization (NAFO).

The whole thing was FAKE! A government propaganda operation. Designed to portray Ukraine as the poor victim, and the fascist Ukraine regime somehow the Good Guys. It was all government-paid-lies.

“We Don’t Let Them Get in Our Way”: GS-14 DHS Official Admits Department Will Defy Trump Appointed Secretary Kristi Noem’s “Marching Orders,” Reveals Tactics to ‘Interpret Priorities We Don’t Agree With’

By OMG Team February 3, 2025

Brandon Wright, a GS-14 Platform Services Manager for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), admitted that career officials within the department actively resist directives from political appointees, including newly appointed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

“The truth is, we don’t let them [secretaries] get in our way,”Wright disclosed to an undercover O’Keefe Media journalist. He went on to explain the deeply entrenched bureaucratic resistance within DHS, likening it to a multi-layered septic system that filters out directives it does not align with. “There’s a lot of layers, like [in] government…

By the time the actual marching orders get to me and below, we can filter it in a way that steadies the ship.”

This admission exposes a deliberate effort within the departmentto manipulate the interpretation of policy decisions based on personal and ideological preferences, rather than faithfully executing the agendaset by elected and appointed officials. “If we don’t agree with those priorities,” Wright stated, confirming that DHS officials often redefine priorities they oppose to make them more palatable to their own perspectives: “There’s a lot of room for interpretation.”

Wright didn’t mince words about his view of Kristi Noem’s ability to lead the department, declaring: “Kristi Noem doesn’t know… She doesn’t know her ass.” He went even further, casting doubt on her competency: “The Department of Homeland Security could fall on her f*cking head, and she wouldn’t recognize what it is.”

His disdain for Noem’s leadership was clear, as he admitted: “To say that I am not excited about this would be the most epic understatement.”

The Department of Homeland Security provided the following statement to O’Keefe Media Group:

“Secretary Noem has not seen the video in its entirety. This type of behavior will not be tolerated. This person has been placed on leave and is under investigation…The senior official says the termination of the official is imminent.”

Every permanent member of the UN except USA has previously dissolved the Government that existed when the Charter was ratified. Doesn't that mean they gave up their permanent seat and vote?

France has a permanent seat. What if France gave half it's Countries land to Germany, dissolved the current government and renamed the Country Macron. Then, Dominican Republic dissolved it's Government and formed a new one named France. Who gets the permanent seat now?

Comet G3 ATLAS Setting over a Chilean Hill

Where is Comet ATLAS going? In the featured time-lapse video, the comet is not itself moving very much, but the Earth's rotation makes it appear to be setting over a hill. The Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) sequence was captured with an ordinary camera on January 22 from the Araucanía Region in central Chile. Comet ATLAS has been an impressive site in the evening skies of Earth's Southern Hemisphere over the past few weeks, so bright and awe-inspiring that it may eventually become known as the Great Comet of 2025. Unfortunately, Comet G3 ATLAS is not going anywhere anymore because its central nucleus broke up during its close pass to the Sun last month. Some of the comet's scattered remains of rocks and ice will continue to orbit the Sun, some in nearly the same outward section of the orbit that the comet's nucleus would have taken.

Is quite the thing to realize that everything you've been told, learned, experienced is one big lie.Unless they come to grips and change, they will never know what it's like to be happy, content and prosperous. They wil always look at life through a lense of anger, darkness and grievance.

On the otherhand, they made their choices and now they have to live with them. Actions have consequences. So, on that note, I give a fucking rats ass about these retards who are compelled to vent their spleen and unstable mental condition on a fucking social media vid. Unreal.

Private payrolls expanded by 183,000 in January, topping expectations, ADP says

WED, FEB 5 2025. Jeff Cox

KEY POINTS

• ADP said companies created a net 183,000 jobs on the month, slightly more than the 176,000 in December.

• Pay for workers who stayed in their jobs grew at a 4.7% annual rate, or 0.1 percentage point more than in December.

• All of the job creation came from service providers, who added 190,000 positions while goods producers lost 6,000.

Private sector companies added more jobs than expected in January, furthering the case for a stable labor market that allows the Federal Reserve time as it contemplates its next policy move, ADP reported Wednesday.

The payrolls processing firm said companies created a net 183,000 jobs on the month, slightly more than the 176,000 in December, a number that was revised sharply upward from the initial figure of 122,000. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for a gain of 150,000.

Pay for workers who stayed in their jobs grew at a 4.7% annual rate, or 0.1 percentage point more than in December.

Though the headline ADP number topped expectations, the internals showed an unbalanced picture.

All of the job creation came from service providers, who added 190,000 positions while goods producers lost 6,000. (The numbers don’t add up to the 183,000 due to rounding.)

“We had a strong start to 2025 but it masked a dichotomy in the labor market,” APD’s chief economist, Nela Richardson, said. “Consumer-facing industries drove hiring, while job growth was weaker in business services and production.”

Trade, transportation and utilities topped sectors with 56,000 new jobs, with leisure and hospitality close behind at 54,000 and education and health services adding 20,000. However, manufacturing lost 13,000 positions.

Job creation was spread fairly evenly across business size, with companies that employ workers leading with 92,000.

Fed officials are watching the jobs picture closely as they consider whether to continue lowering interest rates. The Fed last year cut 1 percentage point off its key borrowing rate in an effort to support a labor market that had showed signs of slowing. Recently, policymakers have stressed the importance of staying patient as they watch the tariff battle in Washington as well as the impact from the rate reductions.

The ADP report serves as a run-up to the more closely watched nonfarm payrolls report, due Friday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which unlike ADP includes government workers. The consensus view for the BLS report is a gain of 169,000 in payrolls in January, with the unemployment rate holding at 4.1%.

The two reports sometimes differ significantly. However, ADP said it continues to expand its sample size for the pay measure portion, which is now at 14.8 million compared with nearly 10 million when it launched.

This is John Sopko. He was the Special Inspector General in charge of reviewing the money spent in Afghanistan on "reconstruction."

In 2021, before the botched withdrawal, Sopko testified that the total amount spent on rebuilding Afghanistan was approximately $143 billion. Of that, he testified that at least one third of it was stolen or wasted with nothing delivered. And many of the projects that were actually completed were destroyed when the Taliban took over a couple weeks after we left.

This speech from 2016 had a lot of truth in it.

https://x.com/mazemoore/status/1886896175845957802

In 2013 John Sopko, the Special Inspector General charged with reviewing the money spent on the Afghan reconstruction, sent letters to the State Department, USAID, and DoD requesting some very basic info.

He asked each one to list their ten most successful projects and their ten least successful projects.

Even though they received separate requests, the State Department and USAID made a joint response in one letter. "We do not compare individual projects against others."

What GAO Found

Since 1995, GAO has reported periodically on federal funding to various domestic and international organizations that provide preventive health care services, including sexual and reproductive health services, family planning, and activities related to the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. For this most current review, GAO found that these organizations received federal funds through several sources from 2019 through 2021. These sources included grants and cooperative agreements, public health coverage programs, and Paycheck Protection Program loans—federally guaranteed loans to support small businesses and nonprofit entities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic that are fully forgivable if certain conditions are met. Specifically:

Health Centers received about $21.69 billion in Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grants. Health Centers, which may be eligible for grants administered by HHS' Health Resources and Services Administration, also received about $53.12 billion in payments from public health coverage programs, including Medicare (for persons aged 65 and over, individuals with disabilities, and individuals with end-stage renal disease), Medicaid (for certain low-income and medically needy individuals), and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP—for certain uninsured, low-income children). Further, as of May 2023, 1,150 Health Centers had received an estimated $2.47 billion in Paycheck Protection Program loans, of which $2.45 billion—including accrued interest on these loans—had been forgiven.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America affiliates received about $148 million in HHS grants or cooperative agreements and $1.54 billion in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP payments. Planned Parenthood affiliates also received 44 Paycheck Protection Program loans totaling approximately $89 million—the entire amount, including accrued interest, was forgiven.

Domestic regional organizations—four privately owned providers of health-related services in various regions of the United States—received about $108 million in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP payments.

International Planned Parenthood Federation received about $2.03 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

MSI Reproductive Choices received about $1.35 million from USAID.

MY COMMENT: Gaza should be liberated, open for both Israelis and Palestinians, as well Americans. America could buy the Palestinian land from Israel and rebuild all of it, make it into a huge booming market and tourist attraction. Palestinians would be hired to help rebuild, get new construction jobs, and they'd be welcome to live there, work there and contribute to the whole free market development zone. Make a deal with Modi, bring some Indians there too, Massive Indian Buffets the size of shopping malls!!!!

So far, Elon is doing this. Plus, I trust my POTUS.

The others? Zuck, Beezos and the rest? I don't trust those motherfuckers one, damn bit. Elon has done nothing even close to what these collective fucks did. Their only hope to save their treasonous asses is to suck up to our POTUS. He knows what they did.

USAID announces nearly all direct hires will be placed on administrative leave

The agency said all direct hires, “with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions,” would be placed on administrative leave.

Updated Feb. 4, 2025, 11:29 PM EST

The U.S. Agency for International Development announced Tuesday night thatalmost all direct hires around the world will be placed on administrative leave this week.

The move was announced on the organization’s website after days of attacks by the Trump administration, including President Donald Trump himself.

The announcement says that beginning at 11:59 p.m. Friday, “all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs.”

Those expected to keep working will be notified by 3 p.m.Thursday, the announcement said, adding that the government is working on a plan to return workers who are not in the country back to the United States if contracts are “not determined to be essential.”

It ends with: “Thank you for your service.”

USAID “direct hires” are civil and foreign service workers, according to the Congressional Research Service, known as CRS. There are other mechanisms by which people work with USAID.

The number of workers affected by Tuesday night's notice is in the thousands.

USAID’s workforce totals more than 10,000 direct hires and a type of contractor known as personal services contractors, the research service said in a January report. Around two-thirds of staff work overseas.

The American Foreign Service Association, which represents around 1,800 foreign service officers — mostly at more than80 USAID missions overseas — has denounced what it characterized as a decision to “dismantle” USAID.

On his first day in office, Trump signed an executive order freezing foreign aid funding for at least 90 days. The agency's headquarters were abruptly closed Monday, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he was taking over the agency and then appointed State Department official Pete Marocco to run it.

Many Democratic lawmakers have expressed outrage, calling it illegal and saying USAID was established under a law passed by Congress. Some Republicans have voiced criticism, as well.

USAID delivers billions of dollars in humanitarian aid overseas, funding thatadvocates say provides a critical lifeline to more than 100 countriesat only a small fraction of the overall federal budget.

President John F. Kennedy signed USAID into being through an executive order in 1961 after Congress passed the Foreign Assistance Act. The law required the creation of an agency to administer foreign assistance.

WhenBill Clinton was president, Congress passed and Clinton signed the Foreign Affairs Reform and Restructuring Act of 1998,which established USAID as an independent entity outside of the State Department.

A report by the Congressional Research Service this month says that Trump does not have the authority to abolish USAID and that congressional action would be required for any such move. (Oh Really Challenge Him in Court)

In fiscal year 2023, USAID managed more than $40 billion in combined appropriations to about 130 countries=, the Congressional Research Service said. Some of the top recipients were Ukraine, which is fighting a devastating war after having been invaded by Russia, Somalia, Ethiopia, Jordan and Congo.==(what BS only Russia invaded)

The Trump administration promised sweeping cuts to foreign assistance and radical changes to the government. Elon Musk, who a White House employee said is serving in the administration as a “special government employee,” said early Monday on X that he and Trump were "shutting down USAID." He added in a post that, “We spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper.”

Experts interviewed by NBCthis week warned that the elimination of USAID would weaken U.S. in South America and Africa, and allow Russia and China to expert more influence on other nations.KEKok

En Route to Jupiter, NASA’s Europa Clipper Captures Images of Stars

Feb 04, 2025

The spacecraft’s star trackers help engineers orient the orbiter throughout its long journey to Jupiter’s icy moon Europa.

Three months after its launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the agency’s Europa Clipper has another 1.6 billion miles (2.6 billion kilometers) to go before it reaches Jupiter’s orbit in 2030 to take close-up images of the icy moon Europa with science cameras.

Meanwhile, a set of cameras serving a different purpose is snapping photos in the space between Earth and Jupiter.

Called star trackers, the two imagers look for stars and use them like a compass to help mission controllers know the exact orientation of the spacecraft — information critical for pointing telecommunications antennas toward Earth and sending data back and forth smoothly.

In early December, the pair of star trackers (formally known as the stellar reference units) captured and transmitted Europa Clipper’s first imagery of space.

The picture, composed of three shots, shows tiny pinpricks of light from stars 150 to 300 light-years away.

The starfield represents only about 0.1% of the full sky around the spacecraft, but by mapping the stars in just that small slice of sky, the orbiter is able to determine where it is pointed and orient itself correctly.

The starfield includes the four brightest stars — Gienah, Algorab, Kraz, and Alchiba — of the constellation Corvus, which is Latin for “crow,” a bird in Greek mythology that was associated with Apollo.

Hardware Checkout

Besides being interesting to stargazers, the photos signal the successful checkout of the star trackers. The spacecraft checkout phase has been going on since Europa Clipper launched on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket on Oct. 14, 2024.

“The star trackers are engineering hardware and are always taking images, which are processed on board,” said Joanie Noonan of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, who leads the mission’s guidance, navigation and control operations.

“We usually don’t downlink photos from the trackers, but we did in this case because it’s a really good way to make sure the hardware — including the cameras and their lenses — made it safely through launch.”

Pointing the spacecraft correctly is not about navigation, which is a separate operation. But orientation using the star trackers is critical for telecommunications as well as for the science operations of the mission. Engineers need to know where the science instruments are pointed.

That includes the sophisticated Europa Imaging System (EIS), which will collect images that will help scientists map and examine the moon’s mysterious fractures, ridges, and valleys. For at least the next three years, EIS has its protective covers closed.

Europa Clipper carries nine science instruments, plus the telecommunications equipment that will be used for a gravity science investigation.

During the mission’s 49 flybys of Europa, the suite will gather data that will tell scientists if the icy moon and its internal ocean have the conditions to harbor life.

The spacecraft already is 53 million miles (85 million kilometers) from Earth, zipping along at 17 miles per second (27 kilometers per second) relative to the Sun, and soon will fly by Mars.

On March 1, engineers will steer the craft in a loop around the Red Planet, using its gravity to gain speed.

Trump withdraws the U.S. from the United Nations Human Rights Council

UPDATED FEBRUARY 4, 20256:33

Deepa Shivaram

President Trump has signed an executive order pulling the U.S. out of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

"I've always felt that the U.N. has tremendous potential. It's not living up to that potential right now," he said Tuesday afternoon at a White House signing ceremony.

During his first term as president, Trump also cut ties with the UNHRC, an organization that U.S. leaders from both parties have long said has a bias against Israel.

The order also cut future funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which provides aid to Palestinians. The Biden administration paused funding to UNRWA while the war between Israel and Hamas was ongoing, after accusations from Israel that some staffers from the agency had ties to Hamas. But an independent review found that there was no evidence to back that up. UNRWA is the main agency providing relief to Palestinians in Gaza. (UN steals our money and used it for illegals in US)

The new executive order comes the same day that Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House, marking Trump's first meeting with a foreign leader since being sworn in last month.

Straight Shot: Hubble Investigates Galaxy with Nine Rings

Feb 04, 2025

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has captured a cosmic bullseye! The gargantuan galaxy LEDA 1313424 is rippling with nine star-filled rings after an “arrow” — a far smaller blue dwarf galaxy — shot through its heart.

Astronomers using Hubble identified eight visible rings, more than previously detected by any telescope in any galaxy, and confirmed a ninth using data from the W. M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii. Previous observations of other galaxies show a maximum of two or three rings.

“This was a serendipitous discovery,” said Imad Pasha, the lead researcher and a doctoral student at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

“I was looking at a ground-based imaging survey and when I saw a galaxy with several clear rings, I was immediately drawn to it. I had to stop to investigate it.” The team later nicknamed the galaxy the “Bullseye.”

Hubble and Keck’s follow-up observations also helped the researchers prove which galaxy plunged through the center of the Bullseye — a blue dwarf galaxy to its center-left.

This relatively tiny interloper traveled like a dart through the core of the Bullseye about 50 million years ago, leaving rings in its wake like ripples in a pond. A thin trail of gas now links the pair, though they are currently separated by 130,000 light-years.

“We’re catching the Bullseye at a very special moment in time,” said Pieter G. van Dokkum, a co-author of the new study and a professor at Yale.

“There’s a very narrow window after the impact when a galaxy like this would have so many rings.”

Galaxies collide or barely miss one another quite frequently on cosmic timescales, but it is extremely rare for one galaxy to dive through the center of another.

The blue dwarf galaxy’s straight trajectory through the Bullseye later caused material to move both inward and outward in waves, setting off new regions of star formation.

How big is the Bullseye? Our Milky Way galaxy is about 100,000 light-years in diameter, and the Bullseye is almost two-and-a-half times larger, at 250,000 light-years across.

The researchers used Hubble’s crisp vision to carefully to pinpoint the location of most of its rings, since many are piled up at the center. “This would have been impossible without Hubble,” Pasha said.

They used Keck to confirm one more ring. The team suspects a 10th ring also existed, but has faded and is no longer detectable. They estimate it might lie three times farther out than the widest ring in Hubble’s image.

A One-to-One Match with Predictions

Pasha also found a stunning connection between the Bullseye and a long-established theory: The galaxy’s rings appear to have moved outward almost exactly as predicted by models.

“That theory was developed for the day that someone saw so many rings,” van Dokkum said. “It is immensely gratifying to confirm this long-standing prediction with the Bullseye galaxy.”

If viewed from above, it would be more obvious that the galaxy’s rings aren’t evenly spaced like those on a dart board. Hubble’s image shows the galaxy from a slight angle.

“If we were to look down at the galaxy directly, the rings would look circular, with rings bunched up at the center and gradually becoming more spaced out the farther out they are,” Pasha explained.

To visualize how these rings may have formed, think about dropping a pebble into a pond. The first ring ripples out, becoming the widest over time, while others continue to form after it.

The researchers suspect that the first two rings in the Bullseye formed quickly and spread out in wider circles.

The formation of additional rings may have been slightly staggered, since the blue dwarf galaxy’s flythrough affected the first rings more significantly.

Individual stars’ orbits were largely undisturbed, though groups of stars did “pile up” to form distinguishable rings over millions of years.

The gas, however, was carried outward, and mixed with dust to form new stars, further brightening the Bullseye’s rings.

There’s a lot more research to be done to figure out which stars existed before and after the blue dwarf’s “fly through.”

Astronomers will now also be able to improve models showing how the galaxy may continue to evolve over billions of years, including the disappearance of additional rings.

Although this discovery was a chance finding, astronomers can look forward to finding more galaxies like this one soon.

“Once NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope begins science operations, interesting objects will pop out much more easily,” van Dokkum explained. “We will learn how rare these spectacular events really are.”

USAID Spent $1 Million On Elon Musk’s Starlink Terminals In The Last Year

USAID and SpaceX worked together to support Ukraine’s war effort against Russia, and provided internet to multiple African countries.

Over the last four years, the U.S. government’s humanitarian and development arm has spent as much as $1 million on SpaceX’s Starlink terminals, federal contract records show, bringing them to Zimbabwe and South Africa, the country where Musk was born.

Its most significant partnership, though, saw USAID working with SpaceX to send 5,000 Starlink terminals, worth some $3 million, to Ukraine for free shortly after the war broke out in 2022. In November last year, Musk tweeted on his X platform, “A major factor for why Ukraine was NOT overrun by Russia is the Starlink support I provided, at great risk to SpaceX cyber & physical attack by Russian military forces… Starlink is the BACKBONE of Ukrainian military communications at the front lines, because everything else has been blown up or jammed by Russia.”

“Starlink is the BACKBONE of Ukrainian military communications…”

Elon Musk

In the last 24 hours, Musk has said his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been given permission to shut down USAID. Over the weekend, it was reported that DOGE staff had tried to enter USAID offices to access materials, including classified information, while hundreds of staff have been either fired or furloughed. The agency website remains down. Trump, meanwhile, has frozen billions in international aid. Marco Rubio has confirmed he is the agency’s new interim boss, saying that many of its functions would be rolled into other parts of government. SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, which has also been vocal about its use of Starlink, also did not respond to a comment request.

While SpaceX had been praised for providing free Starlink terminals to Ukraine, helping speed up communications on the battlefield with Russia, its work in the war torn country wasn’t without controversy. Reports had suggested Ukraine was furious after Musk cut off Starlink internet access for drones during a planned 2022 attack on Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. U.S. lawmakers have also voiced concerns that Russia had illegally acquired Starlink terminals. Musk denied any had been sold to Moscow, which would have violated U.S. sanctions.

NASA’s Cloud-based Confluence Software Helps Hydrologists Study Rivers on a Global Scale

Feb 04, 2025

Rivers and streams wrap around Earth in complex networks millions of miles long, driving trade, nurturing ecosystems, and stocking critical reserves of freshwater.

But the hydrologists who dedicate their professional lives to studying this immense web of waterways do so with a relatively limited set of tools.

Around the world, a patchwork of just 3,000 or so river gauge stations supply regular, reliable data, making it difficult for hydrologists to detect global trends.

“The best way to study a river,” said Colin Gleason, Armstrong Professional Development Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, “is to get your feet wet and visit it yourself.

The second best way to study a river is to use a river gauge.”

Now, thanks to Gleason and a team of more than 30 researchers, there’s another option: ‘Confluence,’ an analytic collaborative framework that leverages data from NASA’s Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission and the Harmonized Landsat Sentinel-2 archive (HLS) to estimate river discharge and suspended sediment levels in every river on Earth wider than 50 meters.

NASA’s Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) hosts the software, making it open-source and free for users around the world.

By incorporating both altimetry data from SWOT which informs discharge estimates, and optical data from HLS, which informs estimates of suspended sediment data, Confluence marks the first time hydrologists can create timely models of river size and water quality at a global scale.

Compared to existing workflows for estimating suspended sediment using HLS data, Confluence is faster by a factor of 30.

Nikki Tebaldi, a Cloud Adoption Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Co-Investigator for Confluence, was the lead developer on this project.

She said that while the individual components of Confluence have been around for decades, bringing them together within a single, cloud-based processing pipeline was a significant challenge.

“I’m really proud that we’ve pieced together all of these different algorithms, got them into the cloud, and we have them all executing commands and working,” said Tebaldi.

Suresh Vannan, former manager of PO.DAAC and a Co-Investigator for Confluence, said this new ability to produce timely, global estimates of river discharge and quality will have a huge impact on hydrological models assessing everything from the health of river ecosystems to snowmelt.

“There are a bunch of science applications that river discharge can be used for, because it’s pretty much taking a snapshot of what the river looks like, how it behaves.

Producing that snapshot on a global scale is a game changer,” said Vannan.

While the Confluence team is still working with PO.DAAC to complete their software package, users can currently access the Confluence source code here.

NASA probe snaps spectacular images of the moon's Grand Canyon

February 4, 2025

A visit to the Grand Canyon is a true bucket list item for anyone on a US road trip. But Arizona isn't the only place where an ambitious explorer can find a Grand Canyon.

NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has snapped pictures of two gigantic basins on the lunar surface.

Named Vallis Schrödinger and Vallis Planck, these measure 168 miles (270 km) long and 1.7 miles (2.7 km) deep, and 174 miles (280 km) long and 2.2 miles (3.5 km) deep, respectively.

That makes them just as long as the Grand Canyon and more than three times as deep at their lowest points.

While Earth's canyon was formed by the Colorado River over six to seven million years, the researchers say these were carved out in just 10 minutes.

The moon's canyons stretch out from the Schrödinger impact basin, a 200-mile-wide (320 km) crater located near the moon's south pole, which was formed when a meteor slammed into the lunar surface.

The researchers think that these lunar valleys were cut into the rock by a stream of rocks thrown out from that violent impact 3.81 billion years ago.

The Schrödinger impact basin is located on the outer margins of the moon's 1,500-mile-wide (2,400 km) South Pole–Aitken basin.

Scientists believe it was formed when a large meteor tore into the lunar surface, creating an extremely violent explosion and tossing debris up to 310 miles (500km) from the crater rim.

Lead author Dr David Kring, a space geologist from the Lunar and Planetary Institute, told MailOnline: 'Variations in the crust of the Moon may have generated concentrated streams of rock within the curtain of debris that was ejected to form the crater.'

This led to debris falling in long, straight lines called ejecta rays which created deep channels of overlapping craters like Vallis Schrödinger and Vallis Planck.

'Such rays are commonly observed on the Moon. For example, backyard astronomy enthusiasts will be familiar with the rays around Tycho and Copernicus craters on the near side of the Moon,' says Dr Kring.

Now, using photographs from NASA's probe, researchers have created a three-dimensional map of these valleys to model the direction and speed of the debris flow.

In their paper, published in Nature Communications, the researchers calculate that the debris must have been travelling at speeds between 2,125 and 2,863 miles per hour (3,420-4,608 kmph).

In turn, this velocity suggests that the fragments which formed the canyon would be between two and five per cent the size of the original meteor.

That means each fragment could have been up to 1,250 metres wide - more than 60 times larger than the Chelyabinsk meteor which exploded over Russia in 2013.

Dr Kring says: 'The energy to produce the two grand canyons of the moon was equal to 130 times the energy of the world’s total inventory of nuclear weapons.

'The research shows that lunar canyons the size of Earth’s Grand Canyon can form in minutes rather than millions of years. Impact-generated streams of rock on the Moon are far more capable of carving canyons than is water on Earth.'

By tracing the ejecta rays back to the point where they meet, the researchers have also been able to identify the meteor's probable impact location.

Interestingly, this point is not at the centre of the Schrödinger crater as you might expect, but rather further to the South at 78.2° South and 143.7° East.

This detail implies that the meteor probably hit the lunar surface at a fairly low angle, spraying debris away from the moon's South Pole.

Beyond being an interesting geological detail, this is extremely good news for NASA's upcoming Artemis moon landing mission currently scheduled for 2026.

The intended Artemis landing site is just 77 miles (125 km) from the rim of the Schrödinger basin.

If the meteor impact had sprayed debris evenly over the surrounding area, it would have made landing a spacecraft more difficult and made it harder for explorers to get samples from the original lunar surface below.

However, this study suggests that this isn't likely to be too much of a problem.

Dr Kring says: 'The research suggests most of the debris ejected from the Schrödinger basin landed outside the Artemis exploration zone.

'Artemis astronauts will find it easier to collect rocks older than the Schrödinger impact. 'The Schrödinger impact formed near the end of a period of early Solar System bombardment.

Geologic samples collected by missions to the lunar south polar region should help decipher the magnitude and duration of that bombardment of asteroids and comets.'

Biden-Era Commie Climate Rule Dead After Court Grants Dismissal Of Appeal

A climate rule issued during the Biden administration is officially dead after judges on Feb. 3 granted the new administration’s request to drop an appeal.

Three judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, acting on a recent request from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), dismissed the government’s appeal of a ruling that found the FHWA administrator overstepped his authority in issuing the rule, which forced states to take steps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from vehicles.

The judges cited a court rule that lets appealing parties dismiss appeals voluntarily if doing so would not create injustice or unfairness. The states that sued over the rule did not oppose the dismissal.

U.S. District Judge Benjamin J. Beaton ruled in 2024 that the rule went beyond the authority that lawmakers had given the FHWA administrator.

“Congress supplied a clear and sensible instruction: the Administrator may set standards and measures that states use to plan and assess the National Highway System. The Administrator, who retains significant delegated authority over the federal spending program, may review state planning reports for compliance and potentially even withhold conditional federal funding,” the judge said at the time.

“But what the Administrator may not do is step into the shoes of sovereign states, which set their own targets for any standards and measures established by the agency.”

UND Aerospace, Grand Sky partner on NASA weather project

February 4, 2025

A group of UND Atmospheric Science researchers has entered a NASA-funded research partnership with Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) business park Grand Sky, to enhance weather forecasting for drone flights and missions.

The team, led by Mounir Chrit, research atmospheric sciences professor, will receive UAS-collected data from Grand Sky using the “Meteodrone,” a small data collection aerial platform, which they will use to build an advanced, high-fidelity forecasting system to support decision making for UAS flights and missions.

This collaboration is part of a larger NASA-funded project aimed at advancing the capabilities of UAS in intense, complex and uncertain environments.

“North Dakota is all about UAS,” Chrit said. “What we are building at UND is not just about flying drones, it’s about providing well-calibrated systems that support decision making under uncertainty.

Our work will enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of UAS missions, creating a model for the future of aviation.”

The partnership focuses on utilizing UAS data to enhance forecasting systems that will enable more precise decision making in various mission-critical applications, including weather related challenges and airspace management.

By leveraging North Dakota’s robust UAS ecosystem, this project will provide crucial insights into managing UAS operations in unpredictable conditions.

The integration of real-time UAS data into forecasting systems is expected to pave the way for more accurate flight planning, especially in challenging weather conditions.

This innovative approach aligns with NASA’s goal to improve UAS capabilities and ensure safer, more efficient integration into the national airspace system.

Marwa Majdi, research assistant professor of Atmospheric Sciences and co-principal investigator of the NASA project, said using the Meteodrone is the perfect way to capture data from where most UAS fly.

“UAS-collected data is important to fill data gaps in the low-altitude atmosphere where most UAS flights take place,” she said.

Grand Sky, known for its cutting-edge infrastructure and proximity to Grand Forks Air Force Base, is the ideal environment for this type of pioneering work.

As a hub for UAS technology, Grand Sky continues to attract industry leaders and provide a collaborative space for the development of next-generation uncrewed systems.

Tom Swoyer, president of Grand Sky, said enhanced weather forecasting system is crucial to the future of UAs development.

“As the first large-scale commercial UAS test park in the nation, providing aircrews with the most accurate weather information possible is of paramount importance to various UAS industry stakeholders,” Swoyer said.

Chrit said the collaboration with Grand Sky highlights North Dakota’s position at the forefront of UAS development in the world.

“Along with recent initiatives and advancements, we are strengthening our state’s claim as the most drone-friendly place in the country,” he said.

“The future of UAS technology is being built here, and it’s exciting to lead this important part of it.”

This partnership is a key part of ongoing efforts to drive innovation in UAS technologies and enhance the state’s leadership in the growing drone industry.

I opened my NYTimes app today. They’re trying, but they can’t keep up. News that broke just hours ago is already off the homepage.

THIS IS CRUCIAL

The entire liberal deep state command and control system is broken. Let me explain

The NYTimes’ primary function isn’t journalism. It’s narrative coordination—setting the frame so the entire political-media machine knows how to think about an issue before it takes off.

Ever notice how, overnight, everyone starts saying “Biden is sharp as a tack” or “JD Vance is weird”?

It’s not random. It’s a system.

The Narrative Pipeline: How The Blob Operates

The NYTimes, NPR, WaPo, CNN, and the rest don’t just react to news. They function as a distributed, decentralized mission command system for the Democratic Party and the broader Blob.

Meet the Blue-Collar Voters Making Germany’s AfD Mainstream. 1/3

Far-right party walks in the steps of the MAGA movement by courting support in depressed, diverse industrial towns once dominated by the left

Bertrand Benoit for WSJ Feb. 4, 2025 5:30 am ET GELSENKIRCHEN, Germany—For 20 years, Stefan Diete, a lab chemist at an oil refinery in this western Germany town, was a member of a far-left party with Communist roots. In next month’s election, he said he would vote for the far-right AfD.

“There are places here, it’s not Germany any more. It’s not even Europe. It’s the Middle East or Africa,” said the athletic, heavily tattooed 58-year old. “I haven’t read the AfD’s economic program and I don’t care. I’ll still vote for them, because of immigration.”

Polls show the AfD, short for Alternative for Germany, could more than double its score at the coming election and deliver its best national performance since its creation 12 years ago, driven by frustration about Germany’s economic slump, immigration and crime.

A few pollsters think it could even win the election, but even if it finishes second, its rise will be felt as an earthquake in a country that has so far kept the far right out of government. Behind this ascendance is a broadening in the AfD’s support base.

Recent voting and survey data show it is rapidly gaining ground among blue-collar workers and even some migrant communities in Germany’s struggling industrial hinterland—places that were long seen as fortresses of the left. People like Diete could help the AfD expand from its traditional strongholds in the former East Germany, home to just a fifth of German voters.

Mirroring the rise of the MAGA movement that helped Donald Trump win the popular vote last year, this shift could determine whether the anti-immigration group can become a truly national force with a claim to governing Germany.

Located in the northern Ruhr region, Germany’s equivalent of the U.S. Rust Belt, Gelsenkirchen is among the most economically depressed cities in Germany.

As a mining town, it grew rapidly during the late 19th and early 20th century. In World War II, more than half of all homes and a third of its industrial capacity were destroyed by Allied bombardments.

Heavy industry and textiles helped it rebound after the war, but it declined rapidly following the oil shocks of the 1970s and a failed conversion into a solar-energy hub.

At 12.7%, Gelsenkirchen’s unemployment rate was double the national average last December and the highest of any German city of its size, according to the Federal Labor Agency. Of Germany’s 400 municipalities, it had the second-lowest purchasing power and the second-worst economic performance, according to studies published last year by the German Economic Institute, a business-funded think tank.

On a recent morning, its high street was tidy but drab, lined with boarded-up kebab shops, discount drugstores and a vast but closed branch of the Irish Primark budget-fashion chain.

At last year’s European election, the most recent nationwide ballot, the AfD scored 21.7% of the votes here, one of its best showings in western Germany and well above its national average. The city and its surrounding region would be a major prize. With its web of midsize towns, the Ruhr is Germany’s densest urban area, and the European Union’s fifth largest.

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia, where Gelsenkirchen is located, is home to 18.2 million people, more than the entire east including Berlin, and almost a quarter of all German voters. Of the various nationalist, antiestablishment parties now ascendant in Europe, the AfD is among the more radical. It wants Germany to leave the EU and lift sanctions on Russia.

It has criticized the country’s culture of Holocaust remembrance and some of its regional chapters are classified as far-right extremist organizations by the German domestic-intelligence agency. Its rise has drawn particular attention in Germany because the country’s constitution was designed to avoid the instability and extremism of the Weimar years, which led to Hitler’s takeover of power.

The fact that lawmakers from the AfD and the center-right Christian Democratic Union voted jointly for the first time to adopt a symbolic anti-immigration motion last week prompted hundreds of thousands to protest. Despite this, the party is expanding its voter base, as evidenced on a recent windy morning in Buer, a district north of the city center.

On a busy pedestrian street there, Friedhelm Rikowski, the party’s local candidate for parliament, and his team had set up bar tables clad in AfD-blue and were handing out lighters, beer openers, brochures and fake deutsche marks—the former German currency that the party wants to reintroduce to replace the euro. Jolanthe Zylka, a cheerful 63-year-old former nurse, moved with her ethnically German parents from Poland to Gelsenkirchen 41 years ago and once supported the Animal Protection Party, a single-issue group.

Now, she said she is “attracted to the AfD because they say what I think. What’s going on here is no longer normal. I don’t let my house wide open for everyone to come in.”

The AfD is benefiting from rising unemployment, immigration and crime in parts of west Germany, said Stefan Marschall, professor of political science at Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, an hour’s drive south of Gelsenkirchen. But he cautions that it will struggle to match its support in the east because traditional parties are far more deeply anchored in the west, whose many affluent regions haven’t warmed to the AfD’s populist message.

Still, the party has been gaining support among all socio-economic and age groups over time, said Roland Abold, head of pollster Infratest dimap, and particularly among young and blue-collar voters. At last year’s European election, 33% of voters who describe themselves as blue-collar supported the AfD, more than any other party, according to the pollster.

Western towns where the AfD has made recent breakthroughs include places such as Salzgitter, a former steelmaking center; Pforzheim, an old watchmaking town in the south; and Pirmasens, once a leather-industry hub. While not all as economically depressed as Gelsenkirchen, they are all old industrial towns, said Matthias Moehl, a data analyst at Election.de, an electoral analysis website.

“These are the Ohios and the West-Virginias of Germany,” said Moehl. “These are where the good jobs used to be and no longer necessarily are.” They also tend to be medium-size and relatively isolated from the bigger, more politically centrist urban centers. Unlike the east and some rural districts where the party has been strong for a while, they have big migrant communities.

When industry began shedding jobs in Gelsenkirchen 25 years ago, people started to leave. Rents fell, which in turn drew refugees and Eastern-European migrants, said Udo Gerlach, a local politican for the center-left Social Democratic Party.

Migrants now make up almost 40% of the city’s population. Immigration, he said, was the main reason his party has been losing support after dominating local politics for decades. “We get a lot of abuse sometimes when we’re out campaigning,” said Gerlach, who worked at the refinery for 35 years and saw colleagues gradually abandon their SPD memberships.

At NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Embry‑Riddle Students Defend Space Systems From Cyberthreats

Feb 05, 2025, 9:03 AM

Two Embry‑Riddle students have collaborated with NASA investigators on efforts to protect space operations — the next frontier in aerospace cybersecurity.

Michael Boehm and Justin La Zare, who are both National Science Foundation (NSF) CyberCorp Scholarship for Service recipients, worked on projects at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California.

Boehm explored satellite cybersecurity vulnerabilities, while La Zare focused on risks posed by artificial intelligence tools.

Dr. Krishna Sampigethaya, chair of the Cyber Intelligence and Security Department and principal investigator for the CyberCorp Scholarship for Service program at the Prescott Campus, praised Boehm and La Zare’s efforts.

“Michael and Justin’s collaborations with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory exemplify the high-quality research and leadership our students, department and Scholarship for Service program demonstrate,” he said.

Securing Satellites

Boehm, who is earning a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Intelligence and Security and will graduate in 2026, analyzed the F Prime flight software framework used in spacecraft operations, identifying potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Such vulnerabilities could allow attackers to cause satellite software to crash and seize control of satellites, he said.

“If you can communicate with a device, so can an attacker,” said Boehm, who presented his research at the Small Satellite Conference in Logan, Utah, in 2024.

Boehm collaborated with NASA scientists to address these risks by developing security measures, such as command authentication and encrypted communication channels.

Boehm’s efforts also improved memory management within the system, and he optimized testing procedures to identify and fix potential weak points.

“Michael demonstrated sophisticated technical understanding and exceptional hands-on problem-solving capabilities while addressing complex spacecraft security challenges,” said Dr. Arun Viswanathan, a senior cybersecurity researcher at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

“The caliber of research emerging from Dr. Sampigethaya’s lab underscores the readiness of his students to make significant contributions to aerospace security.”

Boehm, who described the collaboration with NASA as both “challenging and immensely rewarding, said that the project “provided a unique opportunity to apply cybersecurity skills to space missions.”

Making AI Safe for Space

La Zare, a graduate student in Cyber Intelligence and Security, worked with the team at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to mitigate cybersecurity risks in AI-enhanced space systems

“Justin performed an impressive cybersecurity assessment with recommended improvements that determined the feasibility of autonomous operations of the Mars Helicopter,” said flight software engineer Steven Doran.

By developing a Large Language Model-based prototype, La Zare focused on protecting AI-driven tools from exposing mission details or generating misleading data to operators.

“The prototype I designed can be hosted internally, allowing for the use of sensitive mission documents,” La Zare said. “This system’s use of generative AI could potentially impact space operations.”

La Zare credited Embry‑Riddle for preparing him to address these challenges. He said faculty mentorship has been an invaluable key to his success.

“Professors with industry experience pushed me to excel and gave me confidence for my first space mission cybersecurity project,” he said.

Doran, of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said he looks “forward to future collaborations with Dr. Sampigethaya and the students at Embry‑Riddle in researching solutions for the many challenges in aerospace cybersecurity.”

“The people who gravitate toward the AfD, they’re not Nazis. They’re just dissatisfied.” Enxhi Seli-Zacharias, who leads the AfD in the city, said her party is even gaining support among the city’s oldest migrant communities, including German Turks, whose parents and grandparents came in the 1960s, who are often assimilated and don’t always look kindly to more recent arrivals from Arab countries and the Balkans.

“I had to integrate in this culture,” said Seli-Zacharias, who was born in Tirana, Albania, and moved to Germany with her parents at age 7. “I know what I had to do to get my passport and it drives me crazy to see how these are being handed out to people with no cultural connection to Germany whatsoever.”

Back at the AfD information stand in Buer, Ali Bahadir, a 51-year-old German of Turkish descent who is setting up an old-age nursing business, stopped by for a chat and a brochure. “I’m curious about the AfD. My kids don’t like them, but I want to read what they have to say,” he said.

“I can’t just rely on the media. It’s not independent. It criticizes the AfD but never Israel or the Jews.” Minutes earlier, a young Turkish-German man had approached Jan-Hendrik Preuss, a teacher who chairs the AfD group in the town council. The man had a question: Like his brother, he was considering supporting the party butwanted to know whether it would stop Muslims from going to the mosque and ban halal food.

“Not at all,” said Preuss. “You don’t need to worry about that.”

Department of Homeland Security conducting multi-location operation in Denver, Aurora

Feb. 5, 2025

DENVER (KDVR) — The Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are conducting a multi-location operation throughout the Denver metro area Wednesday morning.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Rocky Mountain Division said in a post on X just after 7 a.m. that a search warrant operation is taking place throughout the metro area. FOX31’s Jim Hooley confirmed one location included the Cedar Run Apartments at 888 S. Oneida St. in Denver. This is in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood.

Hooley is on scene at Oneida Street gathering more information. At 8:15 a.m., Hooley said a SWAT truck pulled up on the scene at the apartment complex, however, he hasn’t seen anyone taken into custody. Meanwhile, an officer is on a loudspeaker telling people in the area to stay in their apartments and cars.

Hooley spoke with people in the area who said the operation began around 6 a.m. and some people were taken out of their cars, although the agencies haven’t confirmed that anyone has been taken into custody.

At this time, it’s unclear what other areas are involved.

This operation comes after ICE agents were expected to start immigration raids in Aurora on Thursday morning, Feb. 6, although those have reportedly been postponed.

[Excellent post! Highly recommended quick read!]

Fact: Bribery is rampant in the U.S. government and military—but it’s also legal.

To understand what’s going on at USAID you must understand how bribery works in America today.

Here’s how to legally bribe a 4-star US Army General:

American bribery operates differently than the classic cash-in-a-suitcase (or bitcoin today!) model still used in most other countries. It relies on trust, time, and reputation—making it nearly impossible to prosecute.

Example 1: Bribing a General in Africa

A corrupt general in Africa demands $2 million cash (or gold or BYT) up front. Why? Because if you don’t pay later, he has no way to enforce the deal.

Example 2: Bribing a U.S. General (Legally)

If you’re a defense contractor in the U.S., you play the long game:

1.Invite the general into a secure, private meeting.

2.Thank him for his “dedicated support” on a project “for the American people.”

3.Wink.

4.Casually mention that a board seat might open up at your company—about five years after he retires.

5.Tell him to call you in ten years to “help find good candidates.”

Fast forward five years: Boom. He lands that board seat. It pays $500,000 per year for five years. Congratulations—he just pocketed $2.5 million, plus interest.

The Board Seat Shuffle

This gets even better. Say Widgets Inc. lands a huge contract thanks to General Smith, and Cogs Inc. gets another big deal thanks to Admiral Jones.

Instead of directly paying them off, Widgets Inc. gives a cushy board seat to Admiral Jones. Cogs Inc. returns the favor by hiring General Smith.

No money exchanged while they were in uniform. No laws broken.

The Enforcement Mechanism: Reputation

But what if Cogs Inc. fails to pay Admiral Jones?

Simple: Reputation kills them.

Word spreads fast in the high-trust world of defense contracting. Generals and admirals still in uniform hear the whispers. Suddenly, Cogs Inc. starts losing contracts.

Example 3: USAID

Want to bribe a Congressman? Here’s how the game works. First, get them to steer a juicy contract your way. Take some of that money and set up a nonprofit—nothing flashy, just enough to move funds around. A few years after they’re voted out, suddenly there’s a cushy board seat waiting for them. In the meantime, have them use their connections to secure a USAID grant for the next wave of Congressmen or staffers. Rinse and repeat to expand the ponzi scheme and just like that, you’ve built a self-sustaining influence machine.

The lesson?

The bribe is exactly the same as a cash payoff—it’s just delayed, sanitized, and hidden behind a veil of “corporate best practices.”

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how government bribery legally thrives in America.

If this goes viral I might post 2/2 an even more ingenious bribery system: How China Bribes A Foreign General

Raspberry Pi Pico Spacewar controller brings vintage space combat to the 21st century

February 5, 2025

If there's one thing that all Raspberry Pi are good for, it's emulating classic games but this project doesn't emulate the DEC PDP-1 minicomputer, instead it emulates the controllers.

Today we're delighted to share with you a cool Pico-powered controller system designed to control an emulator for the 1962 game Spacewar! developed for the PDP-1.

According to Tominator2000, this project was put together to share with others at a convention known as Chicago Gamespace.

If you haven't heard of Spacewar! before, we'll catch you up to speed. Released in 1962, this game simulates flying through space and blasting oncoming threats using torpedoes.

It was created for the DEC PDP-1 minicomputer that was initially developed in 1959 by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The controls are operated entirely by just one Raspberry Pi Pico. In the demo video, we get a good look at the hardware setup which currently involves a breadboard, two analog controllers and a pushbutton.

Tominator 2000 goes on to explain that the system is programmed to be plug and play and is recognized by devices as a USB gamepad thanks to USB HID emulation.

The screen used for the emulator is round in appearance but is actually square with the edges wrapped in a bezel mimicking the PDP-1.

The display has a resolution of 1024 x 1024 which is way more than the original and plenty to replicate the graphics for this classic game.

The Spacewar! game is running on a Javascript-based emulator. The joysticks are driven using a library called PicoGamepad created by a Reddit user known as Jake_at_real_robots.

The left joystick is programmed to rotate your vessel while the right stick is responsible for adjusting the thrust. The button is dedicated to firing torpedoes at your opponent.

If you want to get a closer look at this Raspberry Pi project, you can check out the demo video shared in the original project thread shared to Reddit.

What we’re finding out in real time is the entire modern left is just smoke and mirrors.

There is no left wing voter base, all the elections are rigged and fake, all the liberal media outlets have no audience and are kept alive by USAID funding. All their politicians and political pundits are paid by USAID to say what the government wants.

The whole thing was a house of cards.

Russia launches military satellites into space with an unknown mission

February 5, 2025 16:17

Russia launches a Soyuz-2.1v rocket with unknown satellites on board, claiming it was in the interests of the Ministry of Defence.

Here's What We Know

The launch took place from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region, which is under the control of the Russian Ministry of Defence. The aerospace forces of the aggressor country did not disclose details about the payload, limiting themselves to a general statement.

In short, this spaceport is used to launch satellites and conduct military tests.

In October 2024, strategic nuclear forces exercises took place there, with the launch of the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile.

Previously, the Sarmat missile was tested there, which ended in failure with an explosion and destruction of the launch pad in September 2024.

From this cosmodrome, Russia has also launched military satellites, including the Bars-M and Lotus-S1 radio reconnaissance systems, as well as Glonass navigation satellites.

My bet is by the end of the year. They still have enough Ukrainians being thrown to the meat grinder to maintain the front lines but they are running thinner and thinner as the days go on. Once it grinds to a trickle the front lines will collapse and Russians will move at lightning speed, probably by early next year at the latest, if a peace agreement is not settled by then.

It doesn’t feel right on first glance since it essentially is rewarding Israel after everything they’ve done to the Palestinians as well as the USA (USS Liberty, JFK, dancing art students during 911)

I’m hoping it’s the beginning of a tough series of moves with gulf states the way we’ve just seen with Mexico and Canada, but I don’t see the angle yet.

The US Army recently announced it shattered previous recruiting records, with December 2024 being the most productive December in 15 years.

The branch reported it enlisted nearly 350 soldiers every day that month, Army officials announced Tuesday on social media.

“Our Recruiters have one of the toughest jobs – inspiring the next generation of #Soldiers to serve. Congratulations and keep up the great work! #BAYCB,” Army recruiting officials wrote in a post on X.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth took to X to share the news.

“BOTTOM LINE: America’s youth want to serve under the bold & strong “America First” leadership of [President Donald Trump] @realDonaldTrump.”

In October 2023, the Army unveiled a series of sweeping changes to its recruiting enterprise, including an expanded focus on a larger share of the labor market and the creation of a specialized talent acquisition workforce.

Michael Goodwin: Dems wallow in denial and do the dumbest stuff – proving they haven’t learned a thing from Trump’s win

By Michael Goodwin

It’s been four months since Donald Trump and Republicans swept the 2024 elections — and Democrats haven’t learned a thing.

Here are three snapshots of a party wallowing in denial: =When the eight candidates running to head the Democratic National Committee were asked who among them believed that “racism and misogyny” were factors in Kamala Harris’ defeat, all eight raised their hands.==

When congressional Dems gathered outside the headquarters of the rogue USAID agency that Trump plans to shrink or close, one of their lead speakers was the antisemitic terror defender and America-hater Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Then there’s New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who said Saturday he was hiding an illegal immigrant in his houseand challenged ICE, saying “good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

I've long believed Trump has a gift for driving his opponents over the edge.

Sputtering mad over his style and success, they say and do the dumbest things, which reveals them to be the real crazies.

Murphy plays the fool

Take Murphy:His office quickly backtracked, saying there is no illegal immigrant living in his houseand that he was referring to a legal immigrant who is a friend.

Huh?

So why did he feel the need to lie and make himself out to be a deportation resister?

And why in the same speech did he go back to the Hitler, Hitler, Hitler nonsense that failed during the campaign?

“Germans in the ’20s and ’30s got tired. They got sick of fighting and look at the price we paid,” Murphy said.

Trump’s success is driving him nuts, so Murphy retaliates by making a fool of himself!

Such is the case with much of Washington as Dems and their media mouthpieces rage over the president’s first two weeks in office. In their rush to paint Trump as an extremist, they are saying and doing extreme things.

They’re also showing their ignorance.

Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly foolishly tried to summon the ghost of Winston Churchill’s famous World War II pledgethat “We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall never surrender.”

Connolly’s embarrassing imitation came outside the closed USAID building when he said: “We are going to fight in every way we can in the courts, in public opinion, with the bully pulpit, in the halls of Congress, and here at USAID itself. We are not going to let this injustice happen.”

Churchill he’s not, nor is the slashing of unaccountable spending the equivalent of World War II.

Resistance is passe

Huff and puff as they might, the resistance movement doesn’t have nearly the same appeal it did when Trump took office in 2017.

Then streets in big blue cities were filled with protesters as pink pussy hats became a symbol of defiance.

The zeal persisted and led to the effort to drive him from office, starting with the despicable Russia hoax that was a fabrication of the FBI and Hillary Clinton.

It failed, only to be repeated following the 2020 election by a series of prosecutions designed to lock him up and keep him off the ballot, scandalous moves urged by Joe Biden and carried out by Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI.

None of it worked — in fact, the weaponization of the FBI and the courts backfired and helped lift Trump to victory.

So did the assassination attempts, which I believe were inspired by claims he was a threat to democracy.

Yet most top Dem officials are still trying to stoke the old anger, as if it’s the only playbook they know.

What they should do instead is an honest, no-sacred-cows-spared assessment of why he’s in the Oval Office and Kamala Harris is grocery shopping in California.

Such an examination would begin with the admission that the party has lost touch with the majority of voters. Trump won all seven battleground states and was the first Republican to win the national popular vote in 20 years.

The broad result indicates something far larger than a “messaging problem,” which is the only mistake the dead-enders will concede.

In fact, voters understood exactly who the Dems are and what they stand for.

That’s why Trump pulled in record numbers of black, Latino, Asian and young people as he transformed the GOP into a middle- and working-class party.

The country wanted big changes, and Harris promised more of the same.

Even now, her party still misses the point when it goes after Trump for staffing his administration with people outside the usual government boxes and for launching tariff wars.

Did they really think he was going to have a conventional administration?

One of thesilliest arguments the New York Times makes is a near-daily accusation that Trump’s efforts amount to “revenge.”

The implication is that the only acceptable administration is one that pursues Biden’s policies and allows the permanent government to continue to control everything.

And while it’s true there are a few questionable players on Trump’s team — RFK Jr. for one —the larger truth is that his administration already is a huge upgrade over Biden’s team of losers.

Most important, Trump is doing exactly what he promised — and what the public voted for.

Isn’t that democracy?

Get these numbers: Some 87% of adults favor deporting illegal immigrants with criminal records in one of the Times’ own polls, while 74% of registered voters support it in a Wall Street Journal poll.

The Times also found that 55% support deporting all illegal immigrants.

Trump’s finger on pulse

Other surveys found huge backing for other Trump policies.

One found 57% support for his decision to send the military to secure the southern border, 56% support for his demand that federal employees return to the office full-time and 54% support for his blocking the use of federal funds to promote gender ideology.

Those are big numbers in a polarized nation and if Dems continue to oppose such popular, common-sense corrections, they’ll be spending a lot more time in the wilderness.

In fact, it’s impossible to say what they stand for that most Americans want.

All we know is that they remain committed to opposing everything Trump says and does.

The new head of the DNC, Ken Martin, a party lifer from Minnesota, struck a sour notein his victory speech.

I’ve always viewed my role’s as a chair of the Democratic Party to take the low road so my candidates and elected officials can take the high road,” Martin said.

“So Donald Trump, Republican Party: This is a new DNC. We are not going to sit back and not take you on when you fail the American people.”

If it really were a new DNC, Dems would have a fighting chance of winning back public trust.

Instead, they are living examples of the maxim that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Auxilium Biotechnologies Successfully Prints Medical Devices for the First Time on the International Space Station

February 05, 2025 08:00 AM

Auxilium Biotechnologies, a leader in regenerative medicine and bioprinting innovation, has successfully deployed its revolutionary 3D bioprinter aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

This cutting-edge platform is the first of its kind, making history by printing eight implantable medical devices simultaneously in just two hours.

By harnessing the unique properties of microgravity, the Auxilium Microfabrication Platform (AMP-1) can create medical devices with unmatched precision and efficiency.

Microgravity provides advantages for bioprinting, including uniform material distribution and the ability to create finer, more intricate structures that would collapse under Earth’s gravity.

These benefits are critical for implants that incorporate biological materials or therapeutic agents, delivering consistency and reliability that Earth-based manufacturing struggles to achieve.

The AMP-1 bioprinting system remains on the ISS, using lightweight cartridges preloaded with biological materials to print implants that are returned to Earth.

It requires less than a minute of astronaut time per print session, minimizing costly labor valued at up to $130,000 per hour. The system’s lightweight cartridges ensure cost-effective and sustainable transportation via commercial resupply missions.

“The deployment of our bioprinter on the ISS is a landmark achievement for space biomanufacturing and Auxilium,” said Jacob Koffler PhD MBA, CEO of Auxilium.

“AMP-1 is the most advanced 3D-printing platform ever sent to space, enabling us to develop regenerative medicine treatments that can transform patient care.

This facility not only demonstrates the feasibility of mass 3D-printing production in space but also highlights the economic potential of space-based manufacturing.

Bioprinting in microgravity will drive innovation benefiting life on Earth, aboard commercial space stations in Low Earth Orbit, and in future space exploration, including upcoming Moon missions.”

“This represents a leap in technological innovation,” said Isac Lazarovits, Auxilium’s Director of Engineering.

“The installation of the printer on the ISS required only two minutes of astronaut time before it was fully operational — an impressive milestone in itself.

For the first time, we have achieved a straightforward integration solution for a manufacturing facility in space.

With AMP-1 now operational, we are advancing our biomanufacturing research and the development of regenerative medical devices at an unprecedented pace. We extend our gratitude to our partners at Space Tango and Invetech, who have worked closely with us to make this project a reality.”

AMP-1's initial applications focus on producing implants for peripheral nerve repair, with future milestones including preclinical animal testing and commercialization.

In the near term, these implants will be used on Earth, while longer-term applications aim to support space exploration, including missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

The ability to bioprint implants in space could significantly improve medical care for the crew during long-duration missions.

Auxilium’s use of bioprinting in microgravity builds on NASA’s pioneering legacy in medical innovations, such as the LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device), enhanced digital imaging for MRIs and CT scans, and life-saving technologies like artificial heart defibrillators and insulin pumps.

The AMP-1 has the potential to revolutionize medicine on both Earth and in space, further advancing space-based manufacturing's role in transforming medical solutions.

These cutting-edge bioprinting capabilities represent the next generation of space-based manufacturing.

By leveraging funding from NASA’s InSpace Production Applications (InSpa) program, Auxilium has emerged as a leader in its category, commanding a strong market position and attracting investor interest.

Auxilium’s success underscores the critical role of small businesses in shaping the future of space exploration and commercialization.

went bankrupt keeping up with these new welfare demands, they would be forced to

apply for federal bailouts. Then, under threat of civil unrest, the federal

government would be forced to reform the tax system in such a way as to facilitate

“outright redistribution of income” by introducing socialism.

President Obama attempted to advance Cloward and Piven’s vision in 2012 when he

effectively gutted work requirements for welfare recipients. Federal outlays for

welfare programs increased 67 percent during Obama’s presidency from $430 billion

a year to $720 billion a year. This is why former House Speaker Newt Gingrich

quipped that Obama would be remembered as the “food-stamp president.”

This is called a debt death spiral, and it is exactly what Cloward and Piven

advocated in their article. Once the government is borrowing money to pay the

interest on the money it has already borrowed, it can no longer afford welfare

checks or much of anything else.

Foreign nations will refuse to lend it money, it will resort to printing more

money, and the current rampant inflation will become hyperinflation. At this

point, even Republicans and Libertarians will have to admit that the nation’s only

option is to start a socialist redistribution of wealth via progressive taxations,

or face a Bolshevik uprising inside America!

Employees at Politico were caught by surprise when their paychecks failed to arrive for the latest pay period. According to internal emails shared by staff, company leadership pointed to a “technical error” in the payroll system and promised to resolve the issue promptly.

Within roughly 24 hours, staff reported that pay had been disbursed, but not before speculation emerged on social media on what might have transpired.

Politico is owned by Germany-based Axel Springer SE, a global media holding company that was once publicly traded but is now privately held. The firm’s flagship publications and digital ventures are predominantly European, although its 2021 acquisition of Politico significantly expanded its US market footprint. This made the situation that despite being headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, Politico’s strategic and financial decisions can be influenced by its foreign parent.

As rumors swirled about the payroll disruption, critics began highlighting Politico’s substantial funding from the USAID. Public records, including those found on usaspending.gov, show that Politico, LLC has received millions of dollars from USAID, with the flow of federal awards ramping up significantly over the past few years. Exact figures indicate that over 200 transactions from various federal programs contributed to Politico’s government-related revenue.

Politico, known for its in-depth political reporting, has published numerous pieces on USAID activities and foreign aid initiatives. Critics insist that readers deserve to know whether a federal agency’s money underwrites the same newsroom that reports on its operations. Though there is no direct evidence linking the recent payroll mishap to USAID funds, observers note the timing has amplified calls for disclosure.

Politico’s management has assured employees that the payroll system is now functioning, but it remains unclear whether it will address ongoing concerns about USAID funding.

BREAKING: Russia has rejected US President Donald Trump’s plan to “take over Gaza.” A two-state solution is the only way to settle the Middle East conflict, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has reiterated.

Moscow's position is that the only way to resolve the Middle East conflict is to create a Palestinian state to exist side-by-side with Israel, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated during a press briefing on Wednesday.

”This is the thesis that is enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolution, this is the thesis that is shared by the overwhelming majority of countries involved in this problem. We proceed from it, we support it and believe that this is the only possible option,” he told reporters.

Trump's resettlement idea has also been rejected by major Arab nations, including Egypt and Jordan, noted Peskov. Moscow holds the same position, he added.

Kayhan Space Debuts Unified Satcat Suite for Industry Wide Spaceflight Intelligence

Feb 05, 2025

Kayhan Space, a provider of modern spaceflight and safety solutions, has announced the official rollout of its expanded Satcat Product Suite.

This major enhancement of its space intelligence exchange platform merges the core capabilities of Satcat, a premier data hub, with Pathfinder, an advanced suite of spaceflight tools, into a single integrated offering.

It unifies the industry's most comprehensive real-time data for space situational awareness (SSA) with autonomous features and direct operator-to-operator coordination, all through one streamlined interface for improved orbital monitoring, collision avoidance, and mission support.

Thousands of satellites and millions of debris pieces currently traverse low Earth orbit (LEO), and tens of thousands of additional satellites are anticipated by 2030.

This influx intensifies orbital congestion and heightens collision risks across every mission phase, from launch through decommissioning.

In response, Satcat Product Suite offers a single environment where space operators can manage both SSA and space traffic coordination (STC).

It establishes a broad, publicly accessible repository of space object details to provide a clear picture of orbital traffic patterns and possible threats to operational fleets.

The platform further introduces an extensive business directory and operator-to-operator communication channels, encouraging transparency and instant collaboration.

Additionally, AI/ML-enhanced domain awareness, orbit determination, sophisticated conjunction assessment, and autonomous collision avoidance help expedite decisions on maneuvers and bolster orbital safety.

"Kayhan has been providing critical space traffic coordination and collision avoidance services to many satellite operators since 2020," said Siamak Hesar, CEO and Co-Founder of Kayhan Space.

"But as the congestion in the LEO environment has increased dramatically, we have started noticing critical shortcomings of siloed operational data sources required for making timely operational decisions.

This is why we built Satcat - the largest space object data aggregation and intelligence exchange platform.

By unifying Pathfinder's operational STC capabilities with Satcat's aggregated data architecture, we are delivering a truly comprehensive and all-in-one experience to satellite operators and space professionals that meet key U.S. and global best practices for space safety."

Satcat Product Suite sets a new standard for spaceflight management by combining advanced intelligence with the industry's first autonomous space traffic coordination system, boosting efficiency and collaboration throughout the sector.

AI-driven tools deliver real-time insight, predictive analytics, and cohesive coordination for operators everywhere.

Scientists spot tiny Sun jets driving fast and slow solar wind

05/02/2025

Back in 2023, we reported on Solar Orbiter’s discovery of tiny jets near the Sun’s south pole that could be powering the solar wind.

The team behind this research has now used even more data from the European Space Agency’s prolific solar mission to confirm that these jets exist all over dark patches in the Sun’s atmosphere, and that they really are a source of not only fast but also slow solar wind.

The newfound jets can be seen in this sped-up video as hair-like wisps that flash very briefly, for example within the circled regions of the Sun's surface. In reality they last around one minute and fling out charged particles at about 100 km/s.

The surprising result is published today in Astronomy & Astrophysics, highlighting how Solar Orbiter’s unique combination of instruments can unveil the mysteries of the star at the centre of our Solar System.

The solar wind is the never-ending rain of electrically charged particles given out by the Sun. It pervades the Solar System and its effects can be felt on Earth.

Yet despite decades of study, its origin remained poorly understood. Until now.

The solar wind comes in two main forms: fast and slow. We have known for decades that the fast solar wind comes from the direction of dark patches in the Sun’s atmosphere called coronal holes – regions where the Sun’s magnetic field does not turn back down into the Sun but rather stretches deep into the Solar System.

Charged particles can flow along these ‘open’ magnetic field lines, heading away from the Sun, and creating the solar wind.

But a big question remained: how do these particles get launched from the Sun in the first place?

Building upon their previous discovery, the research team (led by Lakshmi Pradeep Chitta at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research, Germany) used Solar Orbiter’s onboard ‘cameras’ to spot more tiny jets within coronal holes close to the Sun’s equator.

By combining these high-resolution images with direct measurements of solar wind particles and the Sun’s magnetic field around Solar Orbiter, the researchers could directly connect the solar wind measured at the spacecraft back to those exact same jets.

What’s more, the team was surprised to find not just fast solar wind coming from these jets, but also slow solar wind.

This is the first time that we can say for sure that at least some of the slow solar wind also comes from tiny jets in coronal holes – until now, the origin of the solar wind had been elusive.

The fact that the same underlying process drives both fast and slow solar wind comes as a surprise.

The discovery is only possible thanks to Solar Orbiter’s unique combination of advanced imaging systems, as well as its instruments that can directly detect particles and magnetic fields.

The measurements were taken when Solar Orbiter made close approaches to the Sun in October 2022 and April 2023.

These close approaches happen roughly twice a year; during the next ones, the researchers hope to collect more data to better understand how these tiny jets ‘launch’ the solar wind.

Almost 5,000 posts about DECLASS, WE HAVE IT ALL, JUSTICE IS COMING, REMEMBER YOUR OATH, etc.

Detailed descriptions.

The current shock and awe was meticulously planned and organized years ago.

NSA has been compiling records and reports for PDJT for many years.

The proof is very well documented, but most normies refuse to look.

For all the liberals screaming and wailing about Elon Musk for MONTHS now: Musk is an Autist.

Musk has been boldly posting Q references and drops.

Musk hired young SAVANTS ie Autists with mad skills otherwise known as FROGS.

Q actively praised, encouraged and recruited Autists, openly.

This is a Q operation planned for many years in the making.

Normies however have the attention span of a gnat and cannot imagine the discipline required.

Autists are immune to peer pressure or caring what other ppl think.

Autists are only interested in the truth.

The connection is simply chlorine…not false flag.

Keep in mind that every crumb is not meant to be solved before the event. Some of the drops are things for anons to dig on and make connections with, others are markers for future reference.

>[future proves past]

Some drops are just simply communication to the anons.

What needs to be understood to appreciate whats going here is the fact the Q is basically creating a circular flow diagram that can be referenced and cross-checked with news releases. Q can’t just disclose specifics about a situation or operation without violating security protocol. Instead they drop questions and statements that lead to answers that can be understood once the subject becomes public. This provides the validation necessary for the public to believe The Great Awakening is legit. Disinformation and misdirection with Q is real. In other words Q is pointing over there but really the focus is here and only until you publicly get the news can you go back and understand. (Think SA drops) All of this is accomplished without giving up specific details about the operation. It’s quite genius.

Atmospheric River Pummeling California Seen From Space

Feb 04, 2025 at 2:39 PM EST

Satellite imagery captured an atmospheric river pummeling Northern California and the Pacific Northwest on Sunday.

After a series of back-to-back "rivers in the sky" in December, California hasn't seen many, which typically plague the state during the winter months.

One such storm arrived in the Pacific Northwest over the weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Sacramento said its impact will continue to be felt over the next couple days, as residents in the stricken areas can expect heavy rain, snow and the threat of floods.

On Monday, the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at Colorado State University shared Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite imagery from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The time-lapse views showed a "prolonged atmospheric river" that brought heavy rain and high-elevation snowfall to the northwestern U.S. over the weekend.

Atmospheric rivers are a "long, narrow region in the atmosphere—like rivers in the sky—that transport most of the water vapor outside of the tropics," according to the NOAA.

The storm arrived on Friday, saturating the northern half of California with heavy rain, as well as snow in higher elevations. Another atmospheric river is battering Northern California and expected to deliver challenges to the Golden State through this week.

Numerous weather alerts remain in place across California, Washington and Oregon. NWS meteorologist Sara Purdue told Newsweek that any of the weather alerts have the "potential to be dangerous."

On Tuesday, the alerts include a winter storm warning, winter weather advisory, flood warning and wind advisory, among others.

Two to 4 inches of rain are expected across Northern California, the NWS Sacramento office posted on X, as well as heavy snow in mountainous areas.

Some northern parts of the Golden State could get walloped by 2 feet of snow from this storm.

An NWS forecast issued on Tuesday: "A prolonged atmospheric river event will continue to bring moderate to heavy rain with a risk for flooding to northern and central California with heavy mountain snow in the Sierras, southern Cascades, and northern Rockies through Wednesday."

CIRA, in a post to X: "A prolonged atmospheric river event brings heavy precipitation to the northwestern portion of the US."

According to the NWS Climate Prediction Center, the entire Golden State is expected to experience near-normal precipitation for the next eight to 14 days, as below-normal temperatures are predicted for the same period.
