Israel's Gaza Hospital Claims Just FELL APART ON CAMERA!

 

Right, so the destruction of Gaza’s only cancer hospital, the Turkish-Palestine Friendship Hospital, by the IDF this week has sparked justifiable global outrage and condemnation. Hospitals are protected under international law, though this is of course hardly the first hospital Israel have destroyed in Gaza. Israel, as they always do, initially justified the attack, the complete destruction of this hospital by claiming that it was being used as a Hamas base, that and every other building, despite Hamas also apparently living in tunnels, a narrative that has been debunked time after time, though arguably never quite as blatantly and obiously as it has been on this occasion. As has often been to the detriment of Israel, video footage showing IDF soldiers abusing hospital equipment, having a laugh and a joke, making social media videos from within the hospital, and very much not doing that which Israel claimed to be doing, which was supposedly combating Hamas. This sickening stunt not only exposes the truth behind Israel’s lies but also underscores the systemic war crimes being committed in Gaza. The destruction of a vital medical facility, which served as a lifeline for up to 30,000 cancer patients a year, is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and once again going to show Israel’s claims for any of the atrocities they are committing against civilian areas and on civilian infrastructure is completely worthless. They are genocidal liars and it all just got caught on camera.

Read the bible, it mostly condemns the people of Israel for disobeying God, and how they get spanked for it. Israel will be restored to the land, but not because they deserve it or earned it, but because God made a promise to Abraham and God keeps His promises. God sent them the Messiah, yet most of them rejected Him, being stiff necked as usual. They WILL eventually come around and acknowledged Him who was slain for the forgiveness of sins. Their own rituals pretty much exemplify what Jesus did. Because Abraham was willing to deny God nothing, and give up his most prized possession God rewarded him. God provided a sacrifice, a ram. A ram is a male sheep. That is why Jesus is called the lamb of God. An innocent lamb slain for OUR benefit. Acknowledge it and rejoice.

DOGE wants to cut the Pentagon — by 0.07%

 

His recently announced meager $580m reduction is just an exercise in reshuffling

 

Last week, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth directed the termination of over $580 million in Pentagon contracts, grants, and programs. They amount to less than 0.07% of the Pentagon budget.

 

The elimination of this spending aligns with the administration’s effort to reshuffle the budget, not to promote a wholesale reduction in military spending.

 

Secretary Hegseth made this clear in February, when he ordered his staff to draw up plans to excise about $50 billion from the Pentagon budget annually for at least five years — only to “offset” greater spending in 17 priority areas. These include further militarization of the border, needless expansion of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, and ill-conceived plans to develop a “Golden Dome” missile defense system for the United States.

 

Accordingly, Hegseth announced in a video last week that the eliminated spending did not align with the administration’s priorities — “in other words, they are not a good use of taxpayer dollars.” The secretary proceeded to outline terminated contracts, grants, and programs — lamenting one program for 780% cost growth. According to Hegseth, “we’re not doing that anymore.”

 

Hegseth is right to baulk at a program egregiously over budget and behind schedule. Cost growth and delivery delays are longstanding and pervasive issues at the Department of Defense. However, to cut wasteful spending fast — the secretary’s stated intention — he must start with big ticket items in the Pentagon budget. These are service contracts and major weapon programs, which are particularly susceptible to cost overruns and delays.

 

Instead, Secretary Hegseth has focused his attention on firing civilian employees and nibbling at the edges of the Pentagon budget to shore up more funding for the president’s misguided priorities.

 

The result is a performative appeal to the American people, who suffer the social and economic consequences of a runaway Pentagon budget — further militarization of U.S. foreign policy and forgone investment on civilian infrastructure. Taxpayers don’t need Secretary Hegseth to explain why he’s eliminating less than a hundredth of a percentage point in Pentagon spending to simply redirect it elsewhere. They need big, bold action that prioritizes their security needs and wallets over the financial interests of military contractors. They need deep cuts to the Pentagon budget, regardless of parochial interests.

Donald Trump has chosen a course that could lead America into World War Three and turn our constitutional republic into an authoritarian dictatorship where the fundamental mark of a free society—the freedom of speech—is eviscerated.

 

Regarding the latter point, Judge Andrew Napolitano and Professor John Mearsheimer (West Point, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, PhD Cornell University, professor, University of Chicago) had this exchange:

Judge Napolitano: Unbelievable. I forgot to play this clip a few minutes ago. This is the boss of Marco Rubio, the boss of Attorney General Bondi, the boss of Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem talking about the freedom of speech.

Mearsheimer: I’m actually surprised at the extent to which Trump and his administration are suppressing free speech. I mean, I knew it wouldn’t be perfect once he took office, but I’m amazed.

 

This case that you’re referring to involving this gentleman at Columbia University is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s just all sorts of activities taking place on the part of the government to shut down free speech, especially with regard to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

 

We have a huge problem here. And the idea that Donald Trump is facilitating free speech and taking off all obstacles to free speech is laughable.

Col. Macgregor: Well, remember that President Netanyahu does not simply represent six plus million Israeli Jews. He represents Jewish international power and capital. And so, he is treated differently for that reason, if none else.

 

It would be a mistake to say, “Why is President Trump allowing himself to be manipulated or exploited by this man who represents so few people?” That’s a mistake. This is a larger concentration of capital and power that he represents. And Trump knows that, and he’s dependent upon it. He was dependent upon it to get elected. So, now he’s doing what they elected him to do.

Ned Ryun discusses his new documentary with Alpha News reporter Liz Collin. A new documentary explains the danger of bureaucrats and what Americans can do to dismantle the administrative state. Ned Ryun, the founder of American Majority, joined Liz Collin on her podcast to discuss the new film.

 

The must-see documentary is based on Ryun’s 2024 book, “American Leviathan: The Birth of the Administrative State and Progressive Authoritarianism.”

 

“The first definition is obviously this demonic sea creature that Yahweh defeats in the Old Testament. Thesecond definition, though, is why I used it,because Leviathan refers to a massive, sprawling bureaucracy that tends to be totalitarian,”said Ryun.

 

“Really, when you think about it, we haveour own American Leviathan that really has been in place for the last 100 years=, in which a massive, sprawling bureaucracy filled with unelected bureaucrats think that they should be governing and quite frankly, that was always theintent from progressives who constructed the administrative state in the early 20th century, that we would have the rule of the bureaucrat,” he explained.

 

He believes Elon Musk, who is leading a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the Trump administration, is slowly coming to realize just how deep the problem goes.

 

“I think Elon Musk, when he made that comment a few weeks ago in the Oval Office, DOGE was about waste, fraud and abuse, it’s kind of a slow epiphany that’s taking place with Elon,that the waste, fraud and abuse really is probably just the poisonous fruit of a poisonous tree. And we might be dealing with somemore fundamental issues about who’s actually doing the governing in this country,”Ryun said.

 

The purpose of his book and documentary, he said, is to help the American people understand that“we do have two very different competing forms of government in this country.”

 

On one hand, there’s the administrative state, Ryun explained, in which “the unelected bureaucrats are to do the real governing.” This “has nothing to do with representative democracy, has nothing to do with a constitutional republic,” he said.

 

On the other is a constitutional republic, “which has been more of an illusion the last decades, last century, in which we are to have a government of, by, for the people, in which all power flows from the people to their duly-elected representatives, who we then make stewards of the money and power given to them to actually construct a government that advances and protects the interests of the American people,” Ryun said.

“And the conflict between these two different forms of government kind of was under the surface because too many Republicans accepted the premise that it was legitimate,” Ryun added.

 

He said it took Donald Trump to show up and say that he rejects the premise for things to accelerate.

 

“That’s really what accelerated where I think we are today.When Donald Trump said, ‘No, I decide. I’m the one who decides.’ And the administrative state actors and their allies in theDemocratic party and the corporate propaganda said, ‘No, you don’t, we decide.’And that really is the basis of the conflict you see playing out right now in DC,” Ryun said.

 

Despite Trump’s return to the White House, Ryun warned Americans to“not underestimate the power that the corporate propaganda still have.”

 

“They’re not media.I just want to be very clear on that front. We do not have a free and honest press. It has been captured as an auxiliary of the Democratic Party and quite frankly,the administrative state. Corporate propagandists still have a lot of power in this country to be able to influence the low-information voters with their propaganda and shaping the narrative. And so I think that’s going to be a real problem not only this year, butmoving forward with Donald Trump in the battle of the narratives, who’s going to win out,” he added.

 

He said he hasurged Trumpto deliver a speech on the subject and explain that “this is what we are discussing. We are discussingthe end of a unconstitutional administrative state.”

 

Alpha News asked Ryun if he has any advice to Minnesotans as Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and others seem to spend their days fighting against Trump and his agenda.

 

“Sometimes all that’s required of us is to have the courage to stand up and say, ‘No, we reject the premise. We do not think this is legitimate,’ and to really begin to communicate that and have the courage to stand up and say, ‘This is not what was intended at the state level. It’s not intended at the federal level.’The promise of what we were given, this is really our heritage, our legacy as freeborn American people,” he said.

 

“We were supposed to have representative government that was responsive to the American people to prioritize and protect and advance the interests of the American people. We should have the courage in our own communities and states and at the national level to stand up and go, ‘No, we reject the premise.’I think Donald Trump’s courage on that front, I hope, is infectious.”

Pentagon ‘still mystified’ as drone drama deepens

Objects exhibiting advanced technology continue to fly with complete impunity over sensitive military installations and critical infrastructure.

Despite the Pentagon’s advanced imaging and sensor capabilities, the nature, purpose and origin of these enigmatic craft are unknown, raising an array of pressing national security concerns.

In interviews with “60 Minutes” earlier this month, two recently retired four-star Air Force generals and the Air Force commander overseeing North American airspace defense begrudgingly admitted that the “drones” that loitered in dramatic fashion over key military assets in recent years remain a confounding mystery.

 

Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told “60 Minutes” that, despite being “privy to classified briefings at the highest level,” the “Pentagon and the national security advisers are still mystified” by the repeated incursions.

Notably, the objects are impervious to electronic jamming efforts, indicating that they are not off-the-shelf hobbyist drones.

On their face, these incidents pose an alarming intelligence and espionage risk. In the most brazen incidents in recent years, the unknown craft displayed bright flashing lights as they hovered over sensitive facilities and assets.

 

Such conspicuous tactics are the opposite of basic intelligence collection tradecraft, which calls for stealth. Once exposed, any foreign surveillance operation is not only at risk of compromise, but of sparking a major geopolitical crisis.

Despite this, “dozens” of unknown, brightly illuminated objects hovered and flew with complete impunity over a critical Air Force base for 17 nights in 2023.

Ditto for a series of audacious incursions over sensitive American military bases in the United Kingdom last year.

In those incidents, witnesses reported dozens of brightly-lit craft “hovering” and exhibiting extreme performance characteristics while evading detection and multiple advanced counter-drone systems.

 

These enigmatic craft also demonstrate baffling flight dynamics that surpass any known technologies.

For several months in 2019, for example, objects with bright flashing lights swarmed some of the Navy’s most advanced warships off the coast of southern California, often well over 100 miles offshore.

In the most detailed publicly available footage of one of these craft, the perplexed crew of the USS Omaha watched their infrared video display as a spherical object moved against strong winds before descending slowly into the ocean.

 

The sphere was one of many “drones” tracked on radar swarming their ship that evening. Meanwhile, sailors positioned outside on the ship’s deck recorded multiple objects with bright flashing lights hovering and maneuvering around the Omaha.

How can a spherical object move against strong winds and descend, in a seemingly controlled manner, into the ocean? Is this evidence of breakthrough technology? How — and why — did groups of these craft put on such strange displays in full view of Navy ships?

The Omaha incident was not unique. The following day, several unknown objects swarmed another Navy vessel, the USS Paul Hamilton, with one descending (“splashing”) into the ocean.

More recently, law enforcement officers observed similar “swarm” dynamics in rural Ohio, Indiana and Wyoming.

In late January, federal officials informed Mercer County, Ohio, Sheriff Doug Timmerman that the unknown airborne objects operating in his county engaged in “swarming” tactics.

Timmerman, who observed the craft himself, stated that the mystery “drones” reported to his department were the size of “picnic tables or hot tubs” and moved at speeds of up to 80 miles per hour at altitudes as low as 100 feet.

Some of the incidents occurred in the vicinity of farms battling outbreaks of bird flu.

 

Asked earlier this month about the incursions, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) echoed the bewilderment and powerlessness of local law enforcement, stating that “this is something that Congress has to take up.”

Similarly, sheriffs in at least eight Wyoming counties have expressed frustration over perplexing “drone” activity in recent months. In one notable instance, Sweetwater County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to record unknown objects flying over a local power station.

After circling for an extended period, the objects then followed the deputies some 30 miles back to their headquarters. In other words, these mysterious craft can travel significant distances and loiter for several hours — while, eerily, turning police observers into the observed.

 

Wyoming sheriff’s deputies also reported puzzling flight characteristics, to include grid-search patterns and “spoke-like formations with multiple drones branching off from one large, central drone.”

According to the Sublette County sheriff, “We’ve had two accounts of very large drones … and several smaller drones flying in a grid pattern around that singular drone.”

Such perplexing flight dynamics match those reported during a series of mysterious incidents that occurred in rural Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas in late 2019 and early 2020, where law enforcement officers observed several smaller objects circling a large, stationary “mothership.”

In one notable instance, a Nebraska sheriff’s deputy reported “observing 30 to 50 [objects] flying independently of each other with a larger ‘mothership’ hovering for hours.”

 

In another incident, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer observed a large object that “stayed relatively stationary” while “10 to 15 drones … flew all kinds of patterns around that stationary drone.”

One of the objects then passed 200 feet over the officer yet, somehow, “made absolutely no sound at all, even though the wind was calm.”

Some of these incidents occurred over nuclear missile facilities, leading the Air Force to track the incursions closely. Publicly released Air Force emails describe sheriff’s deputies “seeing a ‘mothership’ [six feet] in diameter flanked by 10 smaller drones.”

“When deputies follow the drones,” the email continues, “they clock them at speeds of 60-70 mph.” Similarly, multiple reports from Custer County, Neb., described “a swarm of 30 following a ‘mothership.’”

 

During a January roundtable hosted by Trump, the governors of Virginia, Wyoming and Louisiana expressed palpable frustration with the ongoing incidents, some of which have occurred near to and over nuclear power plants.

By flying so openly over sensitive sites while demonstrating seemingly extraordinary technology, an unknown actor is sending a stark message. But until these mysterious objects are identified, the exact nature of that message remains elusive.

US state media gets emergency cash injection

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is set to receive $7.46 million from its parent US government agency, the broadcaster says

 

Cash-strapped US state broadcaster Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is set to receive a portion of a grant which was withheld by the administration of US President Donald Trump, the broadcaster announced on Monday.A sum of $7.46 million will be released by the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM).(I thought they were closed down too?)

 

Kari Lake, Trump-appointed special adviser to USAGM, has pledged to shrink the agency to its minimum possible legal size, describing the body as “a giant rot and burden to the American taxpayer” and arguing that it is “not salvageable.” She has also claimed to have uncovered assorted irregularities within the agency,including “massive national security violations” and alleged infiltration by spies and terrorist sympathizers.

 

The money to be released covers the period between March 1 and 14, a day before US President Donald Trump signed an executive effectively dismantling USAGM operations.

 

“We hope the imminent disbursement of two weeks’ worth of funding that Congress appropriated to RFE/RL will keep our lights on until the court rules on the broader case,” RFE/RL President and CEO Stephen Capus said in a statement.

 

“It is unlawful to deny us the funds that Congress has already appropriated to RFE/RL for the rest of this fiscal year,” he added.

 

A US Justice Department lawyer representing theUSAGM, Abigail Stout, however, argued that the agency is within its right to terminate the grant should RFE/RL breachthe provisions outlined in the International Broadcasting Act.“The statute actually contemplates that the agency could terminate a grant,”she said.

 

Founded in the early 1950s by the CIA front organizations, Radio Free Europe (RFE) broadcast pro-Western propaganda into the Eastern bloc in Europe, while Radio Liberty (RL) focused on the Soviet Union itself. In the 1970s, they merged into a single entity.

 

USAGM has been overseeing US state-funded international media outlets, including RFE/RL, Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Asia, and several other foreign focused not-for-profit media entities that are funded by the US budget. While the outlets insist they provide unbiased coverage in around 100 countries, they have been widely regarded as Washington’s propaganda arms.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump stood by his national security adviser, Mike Waltz, after The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief was accidentally added to a private, high-level chat on the messaging app Signal where military plans were being discussed.

 

"Michael Waltz has learned a lesson, and he’s a good man," Trump said Tuesday in a phone interview with NBC News.

 

Trump's comments were his first substantive remarks since The Atlantic broke the story, which detailed how journalist Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently added to a group chat on a private messaging app where plans for military strikes in Yemen were discussed. Goldberg said he was added to the discussion after receiving a request from a user identified as Waltz.

 

When asked what he was told about how Goldberg came to be added to the Signal chat, Trump said, “It was one of Michael’s people on the phone. A staffer had his number on there.”(Trump and Waltz know it was his assistant that put Goldberg on the call, wonder what Waltz asst got paid for that.))

 

Trump said Goldberg’s presence in the chat had “no impact at all” on the military operation.

 

The president expressed confidence in his team, saying he was not frustrated by the events leading up to The Atlantic's story. The situation, Trump said, was "the only glitch in two months, and it turned out not to be a serious one."

 

The Atlantic’s story sent shockwaves across Washington on Monday. Democratic lawmakers demanded answers from the White House in multiple letters, with one from a group of Senate Democrats calling the situation “an astonishingly cavalier approach to national security.”

 

Top Democrats on the House Armed Services, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight committees wrote a separate letter, pushing for answers about other instances in which senior officials discussed national security issues “using the Signal messaging service or any other messaging service application that has not been approved for the transmission of classified information.”

Mysterious glowing orbs 'coming from mothership' off Florida coast spark fears of another drone invasion

Mysterious glowing orbs have been spotted flying off the coast of Florida - months after New Jersey was invaded by drones.

Residents of Daytona Beach have described the unidentified objects rising directly from the ocean and flying over the surface of the water.

 

One extremely viral video from March 17 at around 10pm captured what appeared to be a large object moving toward land, and the flare of light surrounding it gradually dissipating to reveal the shape of an aircraft.

While many have dismissed it as simply a passenger plane, locals have shared similar videos online claiming the objects moved in unconventional ways.

 

One particularly extraordinary theory has surfaced on social media, where locals say a 'group of whistleblowers' claiming to be 'military personnel and sailors' told them the US Navy discovered a 'huge' underwater mothership that they believe is producing the orbs.

'Apparently whatever this thing is has sent numerous pulses of energy out, and apparently knocked out power to a couple of the ships,' one TikTok user explained.

 

'This thing is appearing on radar and then disappearing off of radar,' he added.

There have also been eyewitness reports of US Navy vessels patrolling near Daytona Beach amid the orb sightings, with many speculating that they are there to observe or respond to the bizarre activity.

These reports are unverified. But after thousands of unidentified drones were reported throughout the US just a few months ago, Floridians are concerned that the activity appears to have started up again in their state.

 

The Florida orb phenomenon gained widespread attention when TikTok user 'CocoSongz' shared a video of a bright orb flying over the ocean off the coast of Daytona Beach around 10pm ET on March 17.

In the video, eyewitnesses can be heard exclaiming that the object 'came out of the ocean' and that several more objects were flying around it, though they cannot be seen in the footage.

'Y'all we got real alien activity going on,' one eyewitness said.

 

While multiple eyewitnesses have said that they saw the orbs rising straight out of the water, no footage of them doing so has surfaced.

CocoSongz later posted several more videos of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) flying over the ocean, but they have since been removed from her TikTok page.

The original video has been shared widely on social media, and similar footage began to surface from other sources as well.

 

TikTok user 'djlovelyy' posted a video of a bright orb flying near the moon off the coast of Miami Beach on the evening of March 18. The orb gradually fades and then disappears from view.

From November to December 2024, thousands of 'car-sized' drones were reported flying or hovering over residential communities, military bases and other locations across several regions of the US.

The phenomenon began in New Jersey, with the first drone sighting occurring over Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County on November 13.

The activity soon spread across the state and then the region, with reports surfacing in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and many other states.

 

The phenomenon eventually swept across the country. Drone reports emerged in several regions and over more military bases, sparking widespread panic.

On December 3, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launched an investigation into the activity. But by mid-December, they determined that most of the sightings could be explained by normal aerial activities.

'We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,' the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a joint statement issued on December 12.

 

But many state officials and concerned citizens were not satisfied, and continued to report sightings and pressure the Federal government for answers through January.

Now, orbs spotted in Florida have raised concerns once again, as no one has been able to determine exactly what these objects are or where they are coming from.

But it is possible that these strange lights have a mundane explanation.

 

Orbs in photos or videos are typically created by light shining through dust particles or water droplets that reflect the light and cause it to flare.

When flying over the ocean at night, an aircraft's headlights can give it an orb-like appearance as the light shines through fog or mist.

 

As for whether the origin of these aircraft is foreign, or even extraterrestrial, there is currently no solid evidence to suggest this is the case.

They may be US-authorized drones or planes, perhaps connected to Daytona Beach National Airport or one of several nearby military installations.

Neither Florida nor US officials have acknowledged the surge of UAP reports this month.

Senate Confirms Investment Banker John Phelan as Navy Secretary

 

The Navy has a new civilian leader with a hefty business resume but no military experience after the Senate voted Monday evening to approve John Phelan as the service's secretary.

 

The Senate voted 62-30 to confirm Phelan as Navy secretary, making him the civilian head of both the Navy and Marine Corps and putting him in charge of the health and well-being of more than 1 million sailors, Marines, reservists and civilian personnel and an annual budget of more than $250 billion.

 

While Phelan's lone connection to military policy prior to being nominated by President Donald Trump was working with a nonprofit organization that supports U.S. troops, the lack of experience ultimately did not prove to be a liability in the confirmation process.

 

Along with 51 Republicans, 11 Democrats voted to support Phelan including Senate Armed Services Committee ranking member Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and fellow committee Democratic Sens. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Mark Kelly of Arizona, Jacky Rosen of Nevada and Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire.

 

During his confirmation hearing, Phelan sought to frame his business experience as an asset to help turn around long-standing issues with Navy shipbuilding and other budget woes.

 

"I understand why some may question why a businessman who did not wear the uniform should lead the Navy," he said in his opening statement at last month's hearing. "I respect that concern. The Navy and the Marine Corps already possess extraordinary operational expertise within their ranks. My role is to utilize that expertise and strengthen it, to step outside the status quo and take decisive action with a results-oriented approach."

 

Phelan's professional background is as an investment banker. Prior to becoming Navy secretary, he was the chairman of Rugger Management LLC, an investment firm he founded. Before that, he co-founded and was managing partner of MSD Capital, the private investment firm for Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies.

 

Phelan was also a major donor to Trump and Republicans in the 2024 elections. Among other political donations, he contributed $834,600 to Trump's joint fundraising committee in April, and days after the election, on Nov. 10, chipped in another $93,300, Federal Election Commission records show.

 

He also sat on the board of a nonprofit called Spirit of America, which, according to its website, has "an agreement with the Department of Defense that allows U.S. troops to collaborate with us to build goodwill and deliver assistance at scale."

 

While most senators brushed off his lack of military experience, some Democrats questioned whether his professional history presented a conflict of interest.

According to the documents, the aim was to create false radar readings that would trick Soviet defence systems into ignoring real threats in the event of a genuine American strike.

 

Project Palladium involved top-secret missions flown by U.S. spy planes.

Experts claim even British military chiefs have mistaken them for UFOs as they crossed U.K. airspace towards Russia.

The files indicate President Kennedy, who had concerns about UFOs detected during American thermonuclear weapons tests in the Pacific.

 

It comes as a memo supposedly written by the former president 10 days before his death recently resurfaced.

In the letter, dated November 12, 1963, JFK allegedly requested the director of CIA brief him about "all UFO intelligence."

The recipient's name was redacted, but John McCone headed the department at the time.

 

It stressed the importance of knowing what objects in the skies are unknown in the event the Soviets mistake a UFO as America spying on its defenses.

"When this data has been sorted out, I would like you to arrange a program of data sharing with NASA where unknowns are a factor," the memo reads.

"This will help NASA mission directors in their defensive responsibilities."

 

The document was obtained by William Lester, who claimed it was released to him under the Freedom of Information Act while researching his 2011 book A Celebration of Freedom: JFK and the New Frontier.

A U.S. probe into UFOs has found no evidence of aliens. RadarOnline.com told last week how the long-awaited release of Trump's top secret JFK files was deemed as a big anti-climax, leaving many amateur sleuths disappointed.

 

Fury has erupted over the disclosure of the documents, as they were heavily redacted – despite the Trump administration insisting they wouldn't be.

The much-anticipated documents were published on the website of the National Archives on Tuesday evening.

It came roughly 24 hours after President Trump announced a trove of 80,000 pages of material would be released.

 

But many of the papers were poorly scanned or faded, making it impossible to read, while some contained illegible handwriting.

And, significantly, what’s been disclosed is already widely known – having been released by the Biden administration two years beforehand.

Russia and US agree list of energy facilities for truce with Ukraine – Kremlin

The Kremlin has released a comprehensive list of energy facilitiessubject to a temporary US-brokered truce between Russia and Ukraine. The pause in long-range strikes against such targets took effect on March 18 and will last for 30 days, Moscow said.

 

The types of facilities that fall under the truceinclude oil and gas processing and storage facilities, including pumping stations and pipelines, electricity producing and distributing sites, nuclear power plants, and dams of hydroelectric plants.

 

The trucemay be prolonged beyond the 30-day period should both sides agree, Moscow noted.If either party violates the deal, the other can consider itself free from its obligations, it added.

 

The suspension of strikes was originally proposed by Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a phone call last week. The Russian leader agreed to it and immediately ordering the country’s military to halt attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities. The Russian military later said it had to shoot down seven kamikaze drones that were already en route to targets in Ukraine in order to implement the order.

 

Zelensky publicly backed the idea of the truce shortly after it was first announced. However, Moscow accused Kiev of violating the ceasefire almost immediately, claiming that multiple energy facilities in Russia had been targeted by Ukrainian drones over the past week.

Kiev ramping up attacks on Russian civilians – senior diplomat

Sixteen people have been killed and 134 injuredin Ukrainian strikesover the past week alone, Rodion Miroshnik has said

 

Ukraine has stepped up its attacks on Russian civilians in frontline and border regions, resulting in over 150 casualties in the past week alone, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large tasked with tracking Kiev’s war crimes, has said. This comes amid ongoing Russia-US efforts to settle the Ukraine conflict.

 

In a statement posted on Telegram on Tuesday, Miroshnik accused Kiev of attacking civilian targets “in the midst of talks about the desire for a peaceful settlement.” He stated that from March 17 to 23, 16 civilians were killed and 134 were injured in Ukrainian attacks.

 

The bulk of the casualties were recorded in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and the regions of Belgorod, Kursk, and Kherson, he added, claiming that over the week,Ukraine fired almost 2,000 munitions of various kinds at civilian targets.

 

He also provided examples of the most devastating attacks, including a strike in the village of Gorlovka in Donbass which injured 12 civilians. According to Miroshnik,the strike used cluster munitions, which are banned in more than 100 countries. Ukraine is not a signatory to the treaty that bars their use.

 

Another reported incident was a drone attack in the village of Chubarevka in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region, which killed a paramedic, he added. While most of the attacks targeted border and frontline regions, one UAV strike hit targets in Russia’s Saratov Region – hundreds of kilometers from the battlefield – and injured ten civilians, Miroshnik said.

 

Russia has accused Ukraine of targeting civilians throughout the conflict, especially in regions near the border. Miroshnik’s comments come as Russia and the US are engaging in diplomacy to explore options for settling the conflict.

 

As part of the process, Moscow agreed to a 30-day ceasefire on strikes targeting energy infrastructure after a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, last week. Russian officials, however, have said Ukraine violated the agreement almost immediately by targeting oil infrastructure in several locations.

 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov signaled that Russia plans to abide by the moratorium despite Kiev’s violations. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has warned, however, that Moscow reserves the right to respond to Ukraine’s attacks, including “symmetrically,” if Kiev continues its “destructive course.”

Russia is seeking over $1.6 billion in damages from British energy giant Shellover a failed joint venture, the company revealed in its annual report published on Tuesday.Shell walked away from the Sakhalin-2 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, a major oil and gas development on Sakhalin Island in Russia’s Far East, in 2022, after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict and ensuing Western sanctions on Moscow.

 

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office launched the legal action against eight Shell group units last October, although no details of the claim were made public at the time. Gazprom Export, the Russian Energy Ministry, the government of Sakhalin Region, as well as the companies Sakhalin Energy Investment and Sakhalin Energy were named as also being party to the claim.

 

According to the London-based energy giant,Russia is seeking a declaration that Shell illegally abandoned its support for the project. It is also seeking “monetary relief” of approximately €1.5 billion from Shell Energy Europe Limited to Gazprom Export for “alleged unpaid gas deliveries in 2022,” and a declaration thatGazprom Export can take the 94 billion rubles ($1.1 billion) reserved in escrow for Shell as compensation for relinquishing its share in Sakhalin-2.

 

The company filed a postponement notice in January and a new hearing in the Moscow Arbitration Court is scheduled for April 14, the report added. The energy giant noted that it was currently impossible to estimate “the magnitude and timing” of any possible obligations arising from the lawsuit.

 

“There remains a high degree of uncertainty regarding the ultimate outcomes, as well as the potential effect on future operations, earnings, cash flows and Shell’s financial condition,” it added.

 

In 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree transferring the assets of Sakhalin Energy, the former operator of Sakhalin-2,to a new Russia-based operator, Sakhalin Energy LLC. The government allowed foreign owners, which included Japanese companies Mitsui and Mitsubishi, to take a stake in the new operator proportionate to their previous holding.

 

The Japanese firms decided to retain their stakes, but Shell, which owned 27.5% minus one share in Sakhalin Energy, refused to join the new entity, prompting Moscow to sell off its stake to a Gazprom subsidiary for roughly $1 billion.

 

The funds remain frozen in Russia in a type of escrow account called Type C that was introduced in response to Western sanctions.The main purpose of such accounts was to prevent the movement of funds out of the country by entities from “unfriendly nations.”

California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a "consumer alert" on March 21, according to a report from The Washington Post.

 

“I remind Californians to consider invoking their rights and directing 23andMe to delete their data and destroy any samples of genetic material held by the company,” Bonta said in the statement.

 

While the company says its data protections will stay the same during bankruptcy, privacy advocates warn otherwise.

 

Unless you take action, your personal information could end up with new owners or be used in unexpected ways.

 

“If the company does change ownership in the future, your data will remain protected under the current 23andMe Privacy Policy unless and until you are presented with materially new terms, with appropriate advanced notice to review those material changes as required by law,” the website page to delete your data says.

 

Founded in 2006, 23andMe became known for offering saliva-based tests that help people learn about their ancestry and health traits. But in recent years, the company has faced serious struggles.

 

Its value dropped from $6 billion in 2021 to $50 million now. It also suffered a massive data breach in 2023 that exposed information from around 7 million users – including names, birth years and family trees.

 

Last September, the board of directors quit after CEO Anne Wojcicki tried to take the company private. On Sunday, Wojcicki stepped down as CEO but stayed on the board and announced plans to try to buy the company.

 

In a filing, 23andMe said it “intends to continue operating its business in the ordinary course throughout the sale process.”

 

Meanwhile, experts emphasize the importance of guarding your DNA data.

 

“The DNA data could be used to discern your relatives and ancestry, unearth family secrets, and reveal clues about diseases you have or could be predisposed to. If the data makes its way to certain insurers, they may deny you coverage or charge you more for life, disability, or long-term care insurance because of your genetics,” Ginny Fahs, director at Consumer Reports’ Innovation Lab, said.

 

"This is some of the most precious data that exists about you; you’re right to be concerned that it may be up for grabs," she added.

 

The company's privacy statement also states that “if we are involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization,or sale of assets, your Personal Information may be accessed, sold or transferred as part of that transaction.”

 

Thanks to California privacy laws, including the Genetic Information Privacy Act, people can ask 23andMe to delete their genetic data and destroy their samples. Many other states also have similar laws.

 

Here's how to delete your 23andMe data, according to The Washington Post:

 

Log into your 23andMe account.

 

Go to your Profile, then tap Settings.

 

Scroll down to the “23andMe Data” section and click View.

 

Choose to download your data if you want.

 

Scroll to “Delete Data” and click Permanently Delete Data.

 

Confirm your request by clicking the link in the email you receive.

 

After deletion, 23andMe says it will discard your sample and unenroll you from any research programs.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has told the Trump administration that preparations are underway to "eliminate" the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

 

It was a quick comment on Monday with no related lead-in, according to The Hill. President Donald Trump responded, "That's great. Great job," in what seemed to be a reaction to her preceding comments on border security.

 

Trump said previously that he does not have a favorable view of FEMA and has considered its elimination.

 

Sen. Peter Welch, D-Vt., posted on X his response to Noem's pronouncement statement on eliminating FEMA.

 

"Vermont has been hit hard by flooding the last two years, and I'm the first person to say that we need to make improvements to FEMA. But eliminating it altogether would make disasters more deadly and destructive and make it much harder for communities to recover," he said.

 

Trump signed an executive order last week, setting the stage for a major overhaul of federal disaster relief programs.

 

It reads in part, "This Executive Order delivers on President Trump’s commitment to shift power from Washington to the American people."

 

The order laid the foundation for greater state and local control of emergencies.

 

"The Order enables state and local governments to better understand, plan for, and address the needs of their citizens by reducing the complexity of federal preparedness and response policies."

 

There is no official closing or end date announced for FEMA or any other federal office or department that responds to disasters.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) on Tuesday sent its "largest ever" request for records of voter rolls, submitting requests to 48 states as well as Washington, D.C.

 

"The RNC is once again taking action to make our elections more secure," RNC Chairman Michael Whatley said, per a press release. "Voters have a right to know that their states are properly maintaining voter rolls and quickly acting to clean voter registration lists by removing ineligible voters. If states unlawfully block our requests or if we discover that states have failed to accurately maintain their voter rolls, the RNC stands ready to act."

 

The press release noted that the RNC is requesting documents on how states maintain voter records for those who "have died, changed addresses, moved out of state, are criminals or are non-citizens."

 

Under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) states are required to maintain records regarding how they ensure the accuracy of voter information and provide these records to the public upon request.

Why it matters:This creates new layers of complexity and uncertainty for dealmakers, and reflects how the Trump administration is willing to pull novel levers to end what most CEOs viewed as sensible policies until two months ago.

 

Driving the news:FCC chair Brendan Carr tells Bloomberg that he only can "approve a transaction if we find that doing so serves the public interest … If there's businesses out there that are still promoting invidious forms of DEI discrimination, I really don't see a path forward where the FCC could reach the conclusion that approving the transaction is going to be in the public interest."

 

• He also mentioned several pending transactions, including Paramount's merger with Skydance, Verizon's $20 billion deal for Frontier Communications, and U.S. Cellular's $4.4 billion wireless unit sale to T-Mobile US.

• The Federal Trade Commission declined to comment when asked by Axios if it plans to take a similar tact.

 

Zoom in:The FCC doesn't have antitrust regulation powers like the FTC or DOJ, but does need to approve broadcast license transfers and the ability to launch investigations that can drown deals via delay.

 

• In an interesting twist, however, the FCC also is legally required to "prevent digital discrimination of access to broadband services based on income level, race, ethnicity, color, religion, or national origin."

 

The bottom line:It's not clear that President Trump's executive order on DEI gives federal agencies the legal authority to block mergers on such grounds.

It demands documentary proof for citizenship such as a passport to be eligible to vote in federal elections, empowers federal agencies to cut funding to states deemed non-compliant and instructs the Department of Justice to prosecute what the White House paints as “election crimes”.

 

The measure also seeks to block states from accepting mail-in ballots after election day, regardless of when they are mailed in.

 

Many of the provisions in the order are likely to be quickly challenged and are legally suspect. The US constitution explicitly gives states and Congress the authority to set the rules for election and does not authorize the president to do so.

 

“The short answer is that this executive order, like all too many that we’ve seen before, is lawless and asserts all sorts of executive authority that he most assuredly does not have,” said Danielle Lang, a voting rights lawyer at the non-profit Campaign Legal Center.

 

Republicans have long sought to add a citizenship to the federal form and been stymied by the courts. In a 7-2 decision in 2013, for example, the US supreme court said that Arizona could not require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. The power to set the requirements on the federal form is left to the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission. Courts have also blocked efforts to short-circuit efforts to add the question.

 

The order tracks with a controversial bill in Congress Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (Save) Act, which would require Americans to prove citizenship in person –a requirement that could immediately eliminate mail-in and online voter registration already across 42 states, as well as DC and Guam.

 

All metrics point to these actions making it harder, not easier, for Americans to vote. According to the state department in 2023, fewer than half of all Americans had a valid passport, and nearly 69 million women who have changed their names would struggle to produce matching documentation, according to a Center for American Progress analysis.

Kansas had a law requiring proof of citizenship in effect between 2013 and 2016. It wound up putting the registrations of 30,000 people in jeopardy – the vast majority of whom were eligible to vote.

The Center for Democracy and Civic Engagement reported in 2024 that roughly 21 million voting-age Americans, about 9% of the population, do not have a current, valid ID.

 

Despite Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud, federal law already prohibits non-citizens from voting, with penalties including up to five years in prison. Current election systems already use multiple federal databases to verify voter eligibility, including citizenship data from the Department of Homeland Security.

 

A day after the 2024 elections, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency(Cisa) director, Jen Easterly – the agency in charge of overseeing election security in the United States – said: “Our election infrastructure has never been more secure and the election community never better prepared to deliver safe, secure, free and fair elections for the American people. “Importantly, we have no evidence of any malicious activity that had a material impact on the security or integrity of our election infrastructure,” Easterly added.

 

Still, Trump framed the order as a critical step in “straightening out our election”, claiming the country is “sick” from what he termed “fake elections.” He added that “there are other steps that we will be taking as the next in the coming weeks” when it comes to the electoral process.

 

This action continues Trump’s long-term efforts to reshape democratic participation, a throwback to his 2020 memo to exclude non-citizens from census population counts that would be used to shape congressional districts. The rhetoric and subsequent follow through represents a potentially transformative – and deeply controversial – approach to voter eligibility that could redefine access to the ballot box.

 

“Perhaps some people think I shouldn’t be complaining because we won in a landslide, but we got to straighten out our election,” Trump said as he signed Tuesday’s order.

Trump Signs Order in Attempt to Vastly Reshape U.S. Elections

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday commanding wide-ranging changes to how U.S. elections are administered, a move that will be swiftly challenged by voting rights organizations across the country.

 

Since the beginning of his second term, Trump has repeatedly outlined his extreme vision for U.S. elections, and his administration has taken actions that would, if permitted, vastly increase federal control over elections.

 

Tuesday’s executive order is an extension of those efforts by attempting to make it more difficult for Americans to register to vote, to vastly increase federal supervision over state registration rolls and to punish states that do not comply with the order.

 

Democracy Docket founder Marc Elias said he will sue over Trump’s order.

The Trump administration claimed the executive order was necessary to prevent election fraud, specifically noncitizens voting in federal elections. However, election fraud, including noncitizens voting, is exceptionally rare.

 

Democratic election officials quickly decried the order.

 

“Trump’s executive order is unlawful,”Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold saidin a statement. “It would prevent eligible Americans from exercising their sacred right to vote. The Trump administration is weaponizing the federal government and trying to make it harder for voters to fight back at the ballot box.”

 

“This is not a statute,” Arizona Secretary ofState Adrian Fontes told Democracy Docket. “This is an edict by fiat from the executive branch, and so every piece of it can be challenged through the regular judicial process.”

 

“But what is most disturbing is the attitude behind it, and that is that it appears as though this is another one of the administration’s building blocks in an attempt to avoid having to face the voters in 2026,” Fontes added. “I genuinely believe that the Trump administration wants to cancel the 2026 elections so that he and his party can stay in power, and we have to fight like hell against that by every means available.”

 

Among the changes, Trump’s order would punish states that count ballots received after Election Day and would make significant modifications to voting systems and security standards for voting equipment. (What security standards? They are all gone, that's the reason for the EO)

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order that directed the Justice Department to declassify files concerning Crossfire Hurricane, which was an FBI investigation into allegations that Trump campaign members colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

 

The order comes after House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan asked the FBI to comply with his committee’s requests for the truth about the FBI’s investigation into and promotion of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.

 

The president ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to declassify the files proposed in an earlier memorandum, but to keep other data redacted.

 

"My decision to declassify the materials described above does not extend to materials that must be protected from disclosure pursuant to orders of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not require the disclosure of certain personally identifiable information or any other materials that must be protected from disclosure under applicable law," Trump wrote in the order.

 

The declassification order comes after an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller “did not establish” any criminal Trump-Russia collusion.

It would also require proof of citizenshipfor Americans who attempt to register to vote or to update registration information through a federal form, a move that would make it much harder for eligible voters to use the form.

 

The Department of Justice must go after states that count absentee or mail-in ballotsreceived for federal elections after Election Day under the order,while those states would also lose access to grants to improve their election systems.

 

The Social Security commissioner must share federal databaseswith state and local election officials verifying the eligibility of registered voters and those attempting to register, the order directs. It also charges the Department of Homeland Security and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to review state voter registration lists.

 

The order directs the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), an agency created by Congress to operate without direct control from the White House, to carry out many of these changes.

 

The EAC normally assists stateand local officials in improving how elections are conducted,by distributing grants to improve election infrastructure and certifying voting equipment.

 

The EAC would be required to amend the guidelines it uses to determine if voting systems are accessible and secure then re-certify voting systems under those new standards.

 

The order comes after Trump in recent weeks has repeatedly called on state leaders to pass laws eliminating mail and electronic votingwhile falsely claiming they are sources of election fraud.
