Tya Adams alleges she was among those caught up in Judge Kevin Mullins’ apparent sex-for-favors scheme that saw him and others in the tiny town of Whitesburg demand sex in exchange for cash, or to get offenders off the hook.

 

Adams told NewsNation’s “Banfield” that Mullins — who was shot execution-style in his Letcher County chambers, allegedly by his longtime sheriff pal Shawn Stines, last September — had warned her to keep quiet about the so-called depraved ring.

 

“We would do sex parties and perform shows and have sex with them for money, things like that,” Adams alleged. “It was consensual. But it was the thing that we were so young, and then they used it against us and to destroy our lives later.”

 

Adams said she felt forced to go along with the judge’s scheme because she feared Child Protective Services would somehow get involved and upend her life.

 

“They would make sure to make you feel as small and degraded and belittled as possible to take your power away,” Adams said.

 

It wasn’t immediately clear if the woman had any prior run-ins with the law, or if she was on CPS’ radar at the time.

 

She went on to say it was “just a given” she would keep her mouth shut about the apparent depravity, insisting: “Who would believe it anyway? Because the whole town was doing it. Nobody cares. They’re all swingers. It’s all a big party to them. It was just so normal.”

 

Separately, Sarah Davis — a former deputy jailer at the Letcher County lockup — told the outlet she’d heard about the “nasty and sickening” stories to come out of the parties.

Federal Judge Tosses Covid ‘Vaccine’ Injury Case Against Pfizer, Cites Big Pharma Protections

 

A federal judge in California has dismissed a Covid mRNA injection injury case by arguing that the “vaccine” maker has sweeping legal protections.

 

The judge moved for the dismissal of Wilt v. Pfizer.

 

The case was brought by David Wilt, who says he suffered a serious illness after his third Pfizer Covid “vaccine.”

 

Despite detailing nearly a year of health issues, the court ruled it lacked jurisdiction and pointed to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act.

FDA issues warning about radioactive frozen shrimp from Walmart (all in red leaning states)'

 

The US Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday urged the public not to eat certain bags of frozen raw shrimp sold at Walmart, citing concerns about unsanitary conditions and radioactive contamination found in shipments from the same supplier.

 

The FDA said that a radioactive isotope, cesium-137, was detected in a sample of breaded shrimp detained at US ports – in Los Angeles, Houston, Savannah, and Miami – from an Indonesian supplier named BMS Foods.

 

Those contaminated shipments never reached the US market. However, because Walmart’s raw frozen shrimp came from the same supplier – and the agency said it “appears to have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with Cs-137” – officials advised consumers to avoid eating them.

 

The levels of cesium detected – about 68 becquerels per kilogram – were well below the FDA’s intervention level of 1,200 Bq/kg. Still, regulators issued the advisory out of caution, citing the potential risks of cancer from long-term, low-dose exposure and problems at the supplier’s facility.

 

The advisory applies to 2-pound Great Value bags of white vannamei shrimp, all carrying a best-by date of March 15, 2027. They were distributed to Walmart stores in at least 13 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia.

 

The agency is advising consumers who purchased the shrimp to throw it away or return it, and, said an investigation is ongoing in conjunction with Indonesian seafood regulatory authorities.

ICE catches illegal alien who was hired as a reserve police officer in Maine – to be deported

 

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine —

A Maine police officer who has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for more than three weeks has agreed to leave the country voluntarily.

 

Court records show that an immigration judge has granted a voluntary departure for Jon-Luke Evans, a Jamaican national who was employed as a reserve officer with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.

 

Evans was taken into custody in Biddeford on July 25 by officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston. Immigration authorities said they detained Evans after agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) informed them that Evans attempted to purchase a gun.

 

According to the Executive Office of Immigration Review, a voluntary departure allows someone to leave the United States at their own expense within a specific amount of time in order to avoid a deportation order.

 

A voluntary departure allows someone to avoid an order of deportation going on their immigration record, thus allowing them to potentially return to the United States sooner and more easily. People who do choose a voluntary departure, however, have to depart the country at their own expense. There are also serious consequences for people who do not voluntarily leave the country within the designated time they have been given.

 

There are two types of voluntary departure, a pre-conclusion voluntary departure and a post-conclusion voluntary departure. A person can receive a pre-conclusion voluntary departure if they ask for it at the beginning of their immigration case. A post-conclusion voluntary departure is available at a final hearing, but it is more difficult to receive.

 

Evans has received a pre-conclusion voluntary departure. In order to qualify, Evans had to agree he is not in the United States legally, waive or withdraw any applications to stay in the country and show that he has the intention and money to leave the country, according to the Executive Office of Immigration Review.

 

According to ICE, Evans lawfully entered the United States at Miami International Airport in Florida on Sept. 24, 2023. He was scheduled to depart the country a week later but never boarded the flight. ICE said Evans violated the terms of his lawful admission to the United States when he overstayed his visa.

 

Old Orchard Beach town officials, however, have said that when they worked to verify Evans' immigration status and work eligibility during the hiring process, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reported he was authorized to work and could work in the United States for nearly five more years.

 

Evans was being held at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Plymouth, Massachusetts, but he was later transferred to the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls, Rhode Island. As of Monday morning, ICE's online detainee locator system indicated Evans was still being held at the Rhode Island facility.

 

The Old Orchard Beach Police Department and town officials said that Evans applied to become a seasonal reserve officer in early April 2025. During the hiring process, officials said they compiled a 153-page personnel file on Evans consisting of background check documents, driving records, copies of identification cards, educational records, references, medical records and more.

 

Old Orchard Beach officials said Evans provided the town with an I-9 federal immigration and work authorization form and a résumé as part of his application. Evans also provided a Jamaican birth certificate, Massachusetts driver's license, Jamaican passport, U.S. Social Security card, U.S. work authorization card and proof of college credit, according to the town.

 

The town said it followed its standing policies and procedures in hiring Evans, including checking Maine criminal history databases, checking the Interstate Identification Index, confirming Evans had a valid driver's license and proof of insurance and checking Evans' professional and personal references.

 

Town officials said they verified that all documentation Evans provided was authentic. Evans then passed a physical fitness test on April 21. On May 5, he successfully completed the Maine Criminal Justice Academy's ALERT test, which tests candidates' comprehension and writing skills.

 

The Old Orchard Beach Police Department said it then submitted Evans' I-9 form to the Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify Program to confirm his immigration status and work eligibility. According to police, Homeland Security reported Evans' status on May 12 as "alien authorized to work."

 

Police said Homeland Security also validated Evans' Customs and Immigration Form I-766, which showed he could hold legal employment in the United States through March 19, 2030. That information matched the work U.S. authorization card Evans presented to the town, according to police.

 

Town officials said Evans would not have been permitted to begin work in Old Orchard Beach without Homeland Security verifying his status.

 

In response to Old Orchard Beach officials' claims about Evans' background check, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin said the police department had a "reckless reliance" on the E-Verify Program and should have done more to verify his status.

 

"Usage of E-Verify does not absolve employers of their legal duty to verify documentation authenticity, and all employers should take necessary steps to effectively verify legal employment status," McLaughlin said in a statement.

 

McLaughlin also stated that E-Verify is a proven tool that "delivers high accuracy in verifying work authorization by cross-checking employee documents against government databases to combat rampant document fraud and protecting American workers."

 

Old Orchard Beach officials responded, in part, to McLaughlin's statement by claiming the federal government has aggressively pushed all employers — government and private — to rely on E-Verify in the hiring process. Police Chief Elise Chard said the department followed the proper verification process with the federal government.

 

"Simply stated, had the federal government flagged his information the town would not have hired Mr. Evans," Chard said in a statement. "Any insinuation that the town and department were derelict in our efforts to verify Mr. Evans' eligibility to work for the town is false and appears to be an attempt to shift the blame onto a hard-working local law enforcement agency that has done its job."

 

"The Old Orchard Beach Police Department follows all of the pre-employment guidelines expected of an employer in the State of Maine and in the U.S., and we are providing this additional information in response to statements made by certain federal agencies that only work to undermine public trust and confidence in municipal law enforcement," Old Orchard Beach Town Manager Diana Asanza said in a statement. "The Department of Homeland Security doubled down on its attack, but in doing so has thrown its own electronic verification system into question. If we should not trust the word of the federal computer system that verifies documents and employment eligibility, what good is that system?"

 

Maine's Total Coverage and ABC News obtained a redacted copy of Evans' personnel file, including more than 50 pages of documentation.

 

A résumé included in that file describes him as a "trained agricultural educator with exceptional skills in conducting and teaching research in plant life animal behaviour and nutrition, seeking to transition my skills in problem-solving, critical thinking and environmental conservation to a career in law enforcement."

 

In his application to be an Old Orchard Beach reserve police officer, Evans wrote: "I would like to take a step forward in gaining more experience so I can become an excellent police officer one day."

 

Evans was officially appointed a reserve officer by the Old Orchard Beach Police Department on June 20 under a term set to expire on May 1, 2026.

 

Records show Evans completed Phase II training with the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in June. He received Phase III certification and certification as a part-time law enforcement officer from the academy on July 10, two weeks before he was detained by ICE. His certification included passing his firearms safe handling and qualifications from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

 

The personnel file does not include any documentation concerning Evans' immigration status or paperwork to be in the country legally.

In break with current CDC recommendations, leading pediatrics group recommends Covid-19 shots for young children

 

The American Academy of Pediatrics released its updated recommendations for vaccines on Tuesday, including Covid-19 shots for infants and young children – a break from the current US for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations.

 

“It differs from recent recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the CDC, which was overhauled this year and replaced with individuals who have a history of spreading vaccine misinformation,” the AAP said in a news release.

 

Current CDC recommendations for the Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 6 months to 17 years should be “based on shared clinical decision-making,” the agency says.

 

The AAP recommendations are more explicit. It says that all children ages 6 through 23 months should receive a Covid-19 vaccine unless they have known allergies to the vaccine or its ingredients. It also recommends a single dose of the vaccine for children ages 2 through 18 years if they are at high risk of Covid-19, residents of long-term care facilities, have never been vaccinated against Covid-19, or live in a household with people who are high risk for Covid-19. It also says that the vaccine should be available for this age group even if they are not in these risk groups.

 

AAP has provided vaccine recommendations and published its own vaccine schedule throughout its nearly century-long history. But it has not traditionally diverged from federal recommendations.

 

Other groups – including the Vaccine Integrity Project, a group of outside public health experts – have also been independently reviewing data on vaccines out of concern for vaccine misinformation and access under current federal health leadership.

 

Tension between AAP and those driving federal health policy has been running high for months, particularly around changes to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or ACIP.

 

AAP has long been a liaison to ACIP, participating in meeting discussions and analyzing research in workgroups behind the scenes. But AAP chose not to participate in the ACIP meeting in June – the first since health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dismissed all 17 members of the expert panel, replacing them with seven new ones.

 

Dr. Sean O’Leary, chair of the AAP Committee on Infectious Diseases, said at the time that AAP liaisons to ACIP did not participate in the meeting “because we view it as illegitimate.”

 

“What we heard in this meeting was really a false narrative that the current vaccine policies are flawed and that they need fixing,” he said.

 

In August, AAP was one of roughly 30 medical and public health organizations that were formally sidelined from their roles as ACIP liaisons and told by email that they could no longer participate in the committee’s crucial workgroups. The email called the liaison members “special interest groups” that are “expected to have a ‘bias’ based on their constituency and/or population they represent.”

 

Vaccine recommendations from ACIP have statutory implications. Under the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies are required to cover vaccines for adults if they’ve been recommended by ACIP. The committee also votes on whether vaccines should be added to the federal Vaccines for Children program, which provides vaccines to children who would not otherwise be able to afford them.

 

In Tuesday’s news release, AAP urged insurance providers to cover the vaccines that are included in their schedule.

 

“The AAP will continue to provide recommendations for immunizations that are rooted in science and are in the best interest of the health of infants, children and adolescents,” AAP President Dr. Susan J. Kressly in the said in the news release. “Pediatricians know how important routine childhood immunizations are in keeping children, families and their communities healthy and thriving.”

 

The AAP also issued updated recommendations for RSV and flu vaccines, in addition to more than 10 other vaccines.

 

The US Department of Health and Human Services responded to the AAP’s immunization schedule by calling on the agency to “strengthen conflict-of-interest safeguards and keep its publications free from financial influence.”

 

“The American people deserve confidence that medical recommendations are based solely on science and public health,” HHS communications director Andrew Nixon wrote in a statement. “Instead, the AAP is undermining national immunization policymaking with baseless political attacks. Secretary Kennedy has stood firm in his commitment to science, transparency, and restoring public trust. By bypassing the CDC’s advisory process and freelancing its own recommendations, while smearing those who demand accountability, the AAP is putting commercial interests ahead of public health and politics above America’s children.”

 

In response to HHS’ comments, AAP continued to emphasize its commitment to evidence-based recommendations.

 

“AAP created its vaccine schedule based on the health of children and the evidence showing how vaccines support their immune systems, so they can stay healthy and do all the things we want children to be able to do,” Kressly said in a statement.

 

“The Academy has been making vaccine recommendations for over 90 years, longer than ACIP has been in existence, and we remain committed to supporting children’s access to vaccines,” she said. “AAP’s recommendations are based only in the science, the needs of children, and the care that pediatricians have for the children in every community.”

 

The Vaccine Integrity Project on Tuesday presented data from its independent review of thousands of research papers assessing the safety and effectiveness of Covid-19, flu and RSV vaccines. The evidence it found is “very consistent” with the latest recommendations from the AAP, said Dr. Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota and leader of the new initiative.

 

“Let me just be clear: We’ve looked at this very carefully, and there simply is no scientific evidence to support the change that HHS made to the Covid [vaccine] recommendations for pregnant women or for children most at risk for high-risk transmission or severe disease,” Osterholm said.

 

“Over the last few months, we’ve seen policy changes by federal officials based on evidence that has been shown as flawed, analytically fraught or flat out wrong. It’s vital that providers and the public continue to have vaccine information they can rely on,” he said. Analyses by the Vaccine Integrity Project are ongoing, with more information to be shared in the coming weeks as the US quickly approaches respiratory virus season.

 

Other changes may make access to vaccines difficult in other ways this fall. The US Food and Drug Administration has said it may limit future Covid-19 shots to older people and those who are at high risk for serious infection, and may not renew authorization for Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for children younger than 5 years old.

Tulsi Gabbard axes nearly HALF of spy agency staff in earthquake 'Deep State' shake-up

 

America's top spy agency announced it will 'rightsize' its overall footprint by cutting almost half of all its employees after President Donald Trump directed that members the 'deep state' be rooted out.

 

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard sent out an email to Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) employees on Wednesday announcing the launch of 'ODNI 2.0,' the culmination of a months-long effort to reduce redundancies and cut costs, including employees.

 

'This will reduce ODNI by over 40 percent by the end of the fiscal year 2025 and save taxpayers over $700 million per year,' an ODNI press release announcing the shift says.

 

The move is directly in line with Trump's efforts to reform the intelligence community and root out the 'deep state,' multiple senior ODNI officials who worked on the sweeping review told the Daily Mail.

 

And Trump has given his blessing, too, the officials stressed, noting that Gabbard herself briefed the president on the staff reduction two weeks ago, alongside National Security Advisor Marco Rubio.

 

Created shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001, ODNI oversees 18 separate intelligence arms of the U.S. government, serving as a hub designed to connect them.

 

Though the exact number of ODNI employees is classified, when Gabbard took over the agency, it had between 1,850 - 2,000 staff, the sources shared.

 

ODNI is now expected to have around 1,300 staffers following Wednesday's seismic shake-up.

 

Gabbard's letter said the layoffs would be effective by September 30, 2025 and would save taxpayers over $700 million annually.

 

The memo, which was reviewed by the Daily Mail, shares the specifics of the layoffs and has details on how the move better aligns the agency with Trump's vision.

 

'Mahalo,' the internal announcement ends.

 

In addition to ODNI staffers being let go on Wednesday, the agency has also been working to slim its workforce by not hiring vacant positions, a senior ODNI official shared.

 

The agency is also returning detailees - workers from other intelligence agencies on 'loan' to the ODNI - back to their original agencies.

 

Five senior ODNI officials briefed the Daily Mail and other outlets on the dramatic action just before it was sent out to employees.

 

They stressed that the reforms will help the intelligence community become more agile and reactive to emerging threats after the ODNI has remained 'relatively untouched for 20 years.'

 

'We couldn't move quickly enough,' one of the ODNI officials said. 'We have to move faster … and pivot to an elite workforce.'

 

'DEI was a detriment to national security issues,' another senior ODNI official told the Daily Mail. 'Every position should add value.'

 

The slashings aim to set a framework for a larger intelligence community overhaul, the officials said, teasing that the ODNI's reforms may soon become standard across other federal intel agencies, like the CIA, FBI and others.

 

Several of the senior ODNI officials stated the 2.0 project will more easily enable the spy agency to sunset outdated projects and focus on priorities.

 

Artificial Intelligence and how foreign actors can deploy the technology, for example, is an area of interest for the agency, one senior ODNI official shared. Fighting insurgents abroad, like ISIS, is now less of a focus, they added.

 

Other disciplines, like the ODNI's Foreign Malign Influence Center (FMIC), are being shut down altogether, and their employees are either being laid off or sent to other parts of the intelligence apparatus.

 

The shake-up also means the National Intelligence University (NIU) will merge with the National Defense University (NDU) into a joint program now overseen by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth instead of the ODNI.

 

A satellite campus for the ODNI in Reston, Virginia - where the National Intelligence Council (NIC) meets - will also be shuttered and all NIC employees will now report to ODNI.

 

Sen. Tom Cotton, the chair of the Senate's intelligence committee, recently put forward a proposal that would limit the number of ODNI staff to 650, about half of the active workforce following Wednesday's announcement.

 

Even some ODNI officials pushed back against Cotton's more drastic cuts, arguing that his number appears to be too small to effectively operate the spy agency.

 

'In the national security space we're not looking to slash and burn,' a senior ODNI official told the Daily Mail.

For years, violent crime in the nation’s capital has surged. Shootings, carjackings, and homicides now define daily life in many neighborhoods. While city leaders downplay the crisis, residents say they’ve been left to fend for themselves.

 

This is what they said:

• “I’ve been shot four times since moving here.”

• “There’s no boxing, no football, no rec centers, no mentors.”

• “Other countries are protected. Why can’t we be?”

• “Just let Trump take over.”

 

Generations of D.C. kids are growing up with no programs, no safe spaces, only violence. Failed progressive leadership has left entire neighborhoods abandoned.

 

Now, with crime spiraling out of control, the people aren’t asking. They are pleading. They want protection. They want order. They want President Trump.
