America’s “NATO allies” are still trying to drag it into the Ukraine war. Here’s how to stop them.

My suggestion to POTUS. Summon those NATO “allies” that want to provide security guarantees to Zelensky to the Oval Office and make them each sign a formal derogation explicitly exempting the US from all Art. 5 ramifications arising out of their fulfilment of such guarantees.

Let them tell their own peoples, should any one of their countries be attacked by Russia while defending Ukraine, THEY’RE ON THEIR OWN.

Anon Opinion on Economy:

 

I work in pipes valves and fitting and there have been many price increases over the last few years. This worked well because we got some wage increases as well, while my mortgage payment generally stays the same.

 

Now with Powell (faggot) refusing to lower rates, nobody can buy a house and house values are starting to fall. Good for home buyers, bad for home owners. I want to see my friends buy houses, I want to have a family. I want my people to do well. Old liberals are ruining shit, especially Powell. With price increases come wage increases, this is simply the laws of economics. Companies can try to make themselves more profitable by keeping wages artificially low but this will result in low quality and ultimately lower profitability because of the time and money sunk into training new employees.

 

AI will not take over anything. Its just google search with less ads. It can do homework, and thats about the extent of it. But we haven't seen the "muh AI is going to put everyone out of work, better stop having kids," come true at all.

 

My point is this: liberal boomers and women are about to realize WHY they should care about the economy, because Powells refusal to lower rates is going to fuck up their highly leveraged money management strategies. With home prices dropping (both good and bad causes) the people who take out loans against their homes to fund idiot vacations and needless home improvement shit, are about to have the carpet ripped out from under them.

 

Generally the economy is doing extremely well, but this specific demographic, boomer liberals and travel nurses, are on the cusp of financial ruin. I couldn't have planned it better myself. The most liberal people are also the ones who live life completely leveraged, and Powell is about to fuck over the exact people who ideologically support him.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visiting several Singapore attractions on Monday night

 

SINGAPORE - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is spending his second night in Singapore on a mini tour that includes some of the Republic's best-known sights such as Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resorts.

 

At around 9.10pm on Monday (June 11), his motorcade was seen leaving the St Regis Hotel in the Tanglin area where his delegation is being housed at, before driving past the Raffles City area towards Marina Bay.

 

Mr Kim, who arrived in Singapore on Sunday ahead of his historic summit with United States President Donald Trump in Sentosa on Tuesday, stopped by Gardens by the Bay first and is expected to also visit the MBS SkyPark or the nearby Merlion Park.

 

At around 8pm, the observation deck of the 57th-storey sky park at the MBS, which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay and the central business district, was closed off to the public, ahead of its usual 10pm timing.

 

MBS staff were seen polishing fingerprints off the glass panels of the observation deck. The Straits Times also saw a heavy security presence comprising MBS personnel and police officers.

 

Mr Kim, who is North Korea's Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, may also visit other sights such as the Esplanade performing arts centre.

 

The mini-city tour will cap a rather quiet public schedule for Mr Kim on Monday, compared to his officials and Mr Trump.

 

Apart from a meeting with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Sunday evening, Mr Kim has not been seen stepping out of the St Regis hotel in Orchard Road where he and his delegation are being housed at.

 

In contrast, Mr Kim's officials were seen earlier on Monday meeting with Singapore and American officials - making courtesy calls or engaging in last-minute talks over the one-day summit.

 

Mr Trump met PM Lee and also members of the American community in Singapore.

Prof Jagjit Chadha, who recently stepped down as the head of the National Institute for Economic and Social Research, claimed the economy was at risk of “collapse”.

 

He said the financial situation was “as perilous the period leading up to the IMF loan of 1976”, when Britain had to be bailed out by the global banking body.

The lawsuit alleges Roblox knowingly created a “pedophile hellscape” despite promoting the app to parents as safe for children. According to the complaint, the predator posed as another child and groomed the girl, convincing her to send explicit images. He allegedly gave her Robux, the game’s virtual currency, in exchange for the pictures and threatened to revoke the gift if she did not comply. The interactions reportedly began on Roblox before shifting to text messaging.

 

The suit also argues that Roblox’s in-game currency has made children “obsessed” with obtaining Robux, to the point where some tell strangers they will do “anything for Robux.”

 

In a statement to the New York Post, a Roblox spokesperson said, “We are deeply troubled by any incident that endangers our users, and safety is a top priority.”

 

“We dedicate substantial resources, including advanced technology and 24/7 human moderation, to help detect and prevent inappropriate content and behavior, including attempts to direct users off platform, where safety standards and moderation may be less stringent than ours,” the company representative said.

 

The lawsuit argues that the lack of proper age verification and effective parental controls made the abuse possible. Currently, Roblox requires only a username, password, and birthdate to register. The filing also notes that until November 2023, Roblox allowed adults to directly message children of any age.

 

“Had Defendant disclosed the truth of what was really occurring on its app, Plaintiff’s mother would never have permitted Plaintiff to use this app without her strict supervision,” the complaint argued.

 

The child is said to now suffer from “significant emotional distress, psychological trauma, and mental anguish,” with the lawsuit describing the injuries as “severe, ongoing, and permanent.”

 

Launched in 2006, Roblox has grown into one of the world’s most popular gaming platforms. Its 2023 annual report stated the app averages 68.5 million daily active users, with 21 percent under the age of 9, 21 percent between 9 and 12, and 16 percent between 13 and 16.

Active shooter alert issued at University of South Carolina in Columbia'

An active shooter has been reported at the University of South Carolina’s Columbia campus, according to officials, though it remains unclear if an incident has taken place.

 

In an alert sent on Sunday evening, the university said the report involved Thomas Cooper Library. The suspect was described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, wearing black pants, and believed to still be in the area.

 

“Evacuate the area or seek safe shelter and barricade yourself in a safe area as necessary until further notice, the alert said. “Defend yourself if you encounter the suspect.”

 

It remains unclear if any shots have been fired or whether an incident has occurred. The university said public safety officials are on the scene.

Video recorded near the campus captured a loudspeaker warning students and faculty about the active shooter alert, urging them to evacuate and defend themselves. Sirens could also be heard in the background.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Multiple police departments responded Sunday to an active shooter situation on the campus of the University of South Carolina.

 

According to Carolina Alert, there was an active shooter at the Thomas Cooper Library on the Columbia campus.

 

At around 7:10 p.m., a Carolina Alert was issued saying there was no evidence of an active shooter, but police were still searching.

 

A shelter in place was also issued until there is an all clear given.
