In a stunning move, a federal judge on Tuesday referred Soros-backed Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner for federal criminal investigation to determine whether he should be charged with conspiracy or obstruction of justice in his efforts to overturn a murder conviction.

Larry Krasner and his attorneys are now being accused of committing crimes, such as suborning perjury, after they received a court petition to overturn a 2009 second-degree murder conviction.

Dennis Johnson was convicted of second-degree murder in 2009 for the slaying of Kenyatta Smith at a Philadelphia convenience store.

Johnson was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Over the last ten years, Johnson has been fighting his conviction.

Four prosecutors in the DA’s office alleged that Krasner pressured staffers to provide false information to the court to shield a supervisor from blame.

“I have thus reluctantly concluded that Philadelphia’s highest law enforcement official and one of his top assistants may have violated the law,” Judge Diamond wro“In these circumstances, with the issuance of this Memorandum, I refer the DAO, Mr. Krasner, and Stiegler to this District’s United States Attorney’s Office for investigation and other appropriate action,” the judge said.

Krasner and Stiegler are both barred from any further participation in Johnson’s ongoing bid to overturn his murder conviction.

 

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported:

 

A federal judge said Tuesday that District Attorney Larry Krasner may have broken the law while overseeing a contentious post-conviction case, and he said he referred the matter to the U.S. Attorney’s Office to investigate whether Krasner should be charged with crimes including conspiracy or obstruction of justice.

U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond made those stunning statements in a memorandum in which he also ruled that Krasner and one of his top supervisors, Matthew Stiegler, could not longer participate in the case — a matter in which a man is seeking to have his murder conviction overturned.

Diamond wrote that over the past several months, as he conducted hearings to learn more about how attorneys in DA’s office handled that case, testimony from some of Krasner’s staffers revealed actions by Krasner and Stiegler that Diamond called “troubling,” “disturbing” — and potentially illegal.

Those actions, he wrote, included pressuring other staffers to take steps to protect Stiegler and blame one of his subordinates; urging staffers to lie to Diamond in court; and threatening “consequences” for those who did not follow Krasner’s orders.te.

Israeli media on Tuesday is awash with reports that the Israeli government is now quietly providing intelligence to Saudi Arabia amid the raging fight with Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen.

 

The claims definitely ring true given Israel has long faced immediate threats out of Yemen, after earlier in the Gaza war Israeli territory suffered several Houthi ballistic missile hits, including near sensitive facilities like airports. Also, Saudi and Israeli-linked ships are effectively banned from Red Sea shipping amid Houthi attacks.

 

One Israeli report reads: "Israel and Saudi Arabia are engaged in direct dialogue facilitated by the United States Central Command over potential Israeli intelligence assistance to Riyadh against the Houthis, a regional diplomat told i24NEWS." Jerusalem Post also says that the intel-sharing is already happening.

 

"The diplomat said the discussions are intended to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s ability to confront the growing Houthi threat, with Israel potentially supplying intelligence on the group’s military positions, weapons infrastructure and operational plans," the report adds.

 

CENTCOM chief Bradley Cooper has been in Saudi Arabia, where a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman took place the past weekend. MbS has urgently requested military help from Washington and London. Only Britain is said to be mulling a new Yemen intervention on any serious level. Riyadh is also appealing to Egypt's President Sisi.

 

The Times of Israel separately reports that "The goal of the contacts is to share Israeli intelligence that could help Riyadh defend itself."

 

The kingdom has of late come under direct ballistic missile and drone attack, and is seeking to especially protect its oil infrastructure, amid efforts to bring the damaged East-West pipeline back online after what appeared to be drones out of Shia militias in Iraq.

The report, by Al-Akhbar editor Ibrahim al-Amin, said that Netanyahu was pressing Israel’s security establishment and military to prepare for possible action against Iran and Hezbollah.

Poland could cease to exist as a state within days if it enters a war against Russia, Nikolay Patrushev, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has warned in response to Warsaw’s claims that NATO could quickly defeat the country.

 

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said over the weekend that Poland and its allies would enjoy overwhelming air superiority in a hypothetical conflict with Russia.

 

“If Russia attacked us and we took our gloves off, I think we would defeat Russia quite quickly,” Sikorski claimed at the Yalta European Strategy meeting in Kiev, adding that NATO could destroy Russia’s oil refining capacity within six weeks.

 

Patrushev dismissed the assessment as an “amateurish view” of Russia’s military might, pointing out that Moscow isn’t utilizing its full military potential in the Ukraine conflict.

 

“If Poland were to enter military action against Russia, our country would employ the full arsenal of its available forces and resources, and Polish statehood would cease to exist within two or three days,” he said in an interview given to Russian media on Tuesday.

 

Patrushev also accused Sikorski of “Russophobic” militarism, forgetting the lessons of history, and of repeatedly endangering his own country rather than ensuring its security.

 

Other Russian officials have also condemned the Polish minister’s rhetoric. Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko said Sikorski’s calls for NATO to conduct more aggressive exercises near Russia’s Kaliningrad Region should be assessed by “people in white coats,” while Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described his comments as “Russophobia of the brain.”

 

Warsaw, along with the Baltic states, Germany, and other European countries, have increasingly claimed that Russia could eventually attack NATO territory and have called for increased military spending and a stronger presence of the bloc along Russia’s borders.

 

NATO has also discussed strengthening its nuclear posture in Europe, with Washington reportedly considering stationing US strategic weapons in Poland and the Baltics.

 

Moscow has repeatedly rejected claims that it intends to attack any NATO members, describing related suggestions as fearmongering used to justify militarization. Even Poland’s own defense minister said in July that there was no indication Russia was preparing a full-scale attack on the country.

 

Russian officials have instead warned that Europe’s accelerating rearmament and increasingly aggressive military planning are themselves raising the risk of a direct confrontation.

 

Putin recently noted that Western states are now openly talking about preparing for war with Russia, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stressed that Moscow has “no reason” to attack Europe unless it is attacked first.

Where do these initial three Judges come from? How is it possible for them to have potentially done such damage to the United States of America?

LONDON/WARSAW, Sept 15 (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia has cut oil shipments to Europe after drone attacks damaged its key export pipeline to the Red Sea, trade sources told Reuters, prompting top customers such as Poland to rush to seek alternatives as cargo prices topped $120 a barrel.

 

The attacks, which Saudi Arabia has blamed on Iraqi militia, forced the kingdom on Friday to shut its East-West desert oil pipeline, which has spared it from the worst of the impact of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz over the last six months.

 

Oil trading and shipping sources said on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia had informed European customers that some September-loading crude cargoes will be canceled and oil loadings at the Red Sea port of Yanbu had been suspended.

 

State oil company Saudi Aramco declined to comment.

 

The cut in Saudi flows through the Red Sea will prompt Saudi Arabia to try to export more oil via the Strait of Hormuz using so-called dark shipments similar to those already used by the United Arab Emirates and Iraq, trading sources said.

 

Such shipments have allowed Gulf oil producers to export 7 million to 9 million barrels per day, which is 30% to 40% of pre-war volumes.

 

The supply disruption supported oil prices, with Brent oil futures LCOc1 trading near $108 a barrel and cargo prices in Europe’s physical market even higher, with key benchmark dated Brent BFO- at around $122 per barrel, LSEG data showed.

 

Saudi Arabia loaded 22 million barrels of oil across 12 vessels at Ras Tanura/ Juaymah in the week of September 7 to 13, as opposed to 6 to 7 vessels per week for the prior three weeks, data from Vortexa showed.

 

Reuters could not immediately determine how many cargoes to Europe would be canceled or for how long Yanbu loadings would be suspended.

Judge refers Philadelphia district attorney to federal prosecutors for investigation

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A federal judge referred Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner to the U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday for investigation into whether he broke the law while overseeing a post-conviction case.

 

U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond disqualified Krasner and Assistant DA Matthew Stiegler from participating in the case involving Dennis Johnson, who is seeking to have his second-degree murder conviction overturned.

 

Diamond also took the unusual step of recommending that the DOJ investigate whether Krasner committed any crimes, including perjury and obstruction of justice, according to court documents.

 

In a memorandum referring the matter for “investigation and other appropriate action” the judge said “troubling” activity by Krasner and Stiegler was uncovered during recent evidentiary hearings into how the DA’s office handled the Johnson case.

 

That included allegedly pressuring staffers to lie to Diamond in court and threatening “consequences” for those who did not follow Krasner’s orders, the judge wrote.

 

“I have thus reluctantly concluded that Philadelphia’s highest law enforcement official and one of his top assistants may have violated the law,” Diamond said.

 

Krasner said in a statement that he “respectfully and vigorously” disagrees with the decision.

 

“I look forward to appealing to the higher court as soon as the law allows,” Krasner said, adding that he could not comment further because the case is pending.

 

Stiegler did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

 

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania also did not immediately reply to inquiries seeking details about the potential investigation.

 

Johnson was convicted in 2009 of killing Kenyatta Smith. In 2022 the DA’s office made a court filing stating that Johnson was entitled to habeas relief based on ineffective assistance of counsel.

 

Court documents show that DA employees told Krasner the case should be directed to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office due to potential conflicts of interest involving Stiegler. Krasner opposed the move, saying he needed to stay involved to “protect the office,” according to the documents.

 

Johnson’s petition remains on hold. Diamond said the DA’s office could continue to handle the case moving forward, but it is not immediately clear which prosecutor might take it on.

Vax-pushing Australian technocrat Jane Halton linked to WHO censorship scheme

 

A VIDEO clip from the May 2023 International Covid Summit featuring Dr Meryl Nass, an American physician and prominent vaccine skeptic, has revealed a blatant push by the World Health Organisation and its sister organisation the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) for new laws that basically abolish free speech.

 

The WHO has stated that her accusations regarding their drafted pandemic preparedness treaty “are entirely false”. We doubt the sincerity of that rebuttal.

 

Cairns News notes that there are more than coincidental links between repeated attempts by the Albanese Labor government to censor online content and access, as reflected in their latest so-called “Digital Duty of Care Bill” and Australian technocrat, Adjunct Professor Jane Halton, a previous chairwoman of the WHO and current chairman of CEPI.

 

Halton would have been privvy to the WHO’s speech control plans and also has the ear of leading politicians, bureaucrats and corporate boards in Australia, where she lives.

 

In the video clip Dr Nass says “we are undergoing a soft coup, and the idea is to create a whole new set of laws and ignore the existing human rights laws and other laws under the pretext of pandemic preparedness and the biosecurity agenda.”

 

Dr Nass said the WHO was seeking amendments to remove the human rights protections currently embedded the International Health Regulations (IHRs) and enforce surveillance, censorship, get rid of freedom of speech and require governments to censor and only push a single narrative.

 

Furthermore, states are bound by enforceable edicts instead of action recommendations, get rid of intellectual property rights, enforce digital passports, give vaccine producers a liability shield and the WHO director general given powers to declare a pandemic on his own judgment.

 

Dr Nass also reveals that CEPI, is involved in a project, under Dr Jeremy Farrar, to “create safe, effective, and accessible vaccines within 100 days of identifying a new pandemic threat or “Disease X”.

 

A Reuters fact check article on the video quotes a WHO spokesman who merely points out that Dr Nass held not any official capacity with the WHO, as stated in a caption under the video. He did not deny her claim about plans for free speech censorship.

 

However, according to official channels, the WHO Pandemic Agreement has dropped explicit references to “infodemic management and misinformation”, and “aims to safeguard free expression while focusing on public health coordination”.

A large majority of House Democrats declined to follow their leaders in voting to reject an impeachment resolution targeting President Donald Trump over his immigration enforcement policies.

 

The 232-147 vote to kill the measure introduced by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was much narrower than a June 2025 vote on a different impeachment measure brought by Green, where 128 Democrats joined with 216 Republicans to set it aside.

 

This time, only 18 Democrats joined the 213 Republicans voting to table, with another 46 Democrats voting present — among them, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the No. 2 and No. 3 party leaders, Whip Katherine Clark of Massachusetts and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar of California.

 

The vote signals a limited appetite among Democrats to look past the president’s controversies even after the leaders suggested impeachment represented a distraction ahead of the November midterms.

 

Jeffries, Clark and Aguilar said in a Monday statement that impeachment is a “sacred constitutional vehicle” that “traditionally requires a comprehensive investigative process” that had not taken place.

 

“This is something, oftentimes, I think the right-wing media wants us to talk about, but it’s not anything that is top of the agenda for House Democrats,” Aguilar told reporters about impeachment before the vote.

 

Joining the three Democratic leaders in voting “present” was Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who introduced a separate impeachment resolution Tuesday against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

 

The House twice voted to impeach Trump when it was under Democratic control in his first term. He was acquitted by the GOP-controlled Senate both times.

Two House Democrats defect again on key vote for Trump agenda

House Democrats are fuming after a pair of centrist members onceagain defied their party leaders by voting to help advance a key White House priority — the second time in recent weeks.

 

The frustrations at those two Democrats — in particular, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who is seeking reelection in a battleground seat — are so high that they led to a confrontation on the House floor Tuesday evening between the Washington congresswoman and a top party leader, according to a person familiar with the exchange.

 

Rep. Katherine Clark, the No. 2 House Democrat and party whip, appeared to raise her voice in an intense conversation on the floor with Gluesenkamp Perez shortly after the vote, that person said.(The other Democratic defector, Rep. Jared Golden of Maine, is retiring after his term and has faced less party blowback.)

 

The vote the two Democrats defected on is known as a rule vote. Typically, members of the minority party stick together to oppose these kind of procedural votes, which the majority party needs to bring bills to the floor.

 

Democrats are particularly irate given that one of the bills that can now be brought to the floor is a Russian sanctions bill that President Donald Trump himself has championed. The White House has made it such a high priority that some in the administration privately reached out to at least one House Democratic centrist, attempting to convince that member to support the GOP procedural vote in exchange for a community project back home, that member told CNN. That member ultimately opposed the GOP procedural vote.

 

While some Democrats support the Russia sanctions bill, they said they were not willing to back a GOP rule — and cross party leadership — to get that result.

 

"I'm proud to represent one of the largest Ukrainian communities in America — people who have lost fathers, mothers, sons and daughters in the fight to defeat fascism," Gluesenkamp Perez said on X, adding, "My vote today gets us one step closer to enacting these sanctions into law and I look forward to voting tomorrow to cut off the flow of Russian oil money fueling this war."

 

The decision by the two Democrats to once again flout their leadership has quickly resurfaced a complicated debate about party discipline within the caucus. Democrats had already been discussing ways to punish members who oppose the party on key procedural votes after the last episode. Now, in the final week of session before the midterms, those conversations are quickly heating up.

 

Another top Democrat, Rep. Pete Aguilar, later called out the two defectors and said their caucus would discuss potential punishments for the members.

 

Asked about enforcing party discipline, he said, "We'll have some conversations as a family, and we'll go from there."

 

And he issued a terse warning to fellow Democrats about the behavior: "That's not what we should be doing."
