Gloves Come Off as Rogers Accuses El-Sayed’s Mother of Working For Al-Qaeda Linked Org

Alex Griffing

Oct 9th, 2026, 10:59 am

The U.S. Senate debate in Michigan turned personal on Thursday night when Republican candidate Mike Rogerstook a swipe at Abdul El-Sayed’smother, accusing her of working for a group “indicted for funneling money to Al Qaeda.”

The heated exchange came after El-Sayedattacked Rogers’s position on Flock Safety cameras, saying the Republican and former FBI agent wanted to use them to spy on the public.

“Why would that bother you?” Rogers hit back in the debate hosted by Nexstar’s WOOD-TV and NewsNation, adding, “Well, if you have someone in your family that might be on the, on the watch list …”

“Go ahead and say it,” El-Sayed shot back, “You’ve been tiptoeing around it the whole time.”

Rogers added, “Well, let’s do this. Let’s open up this can of worms. I’ll tell you what my mother did. She was a small–”

El-Sayed cut in, “You go after my mom?”

Rogers replied,“I’m not going after your mom.”

El-Sayed answered, “That’s exactly what you are doing.”

“What your mom was working at, I was going after that organization that was indicted for funneling money to Al Qaeda. That’s your mom. My mom worked at a smoke chamber of commerce. I’ll put my mom up any day for that,” Rogers replied.

The moderator then turned to El-Sayed, “Alright, we will give you a rebuttal, and we’re moving away from this subject.”

“He wants this to be about anything but his own record,” El-Sayed answered, ignoring the attack, and adding, “He’s okay if the federal government spies on you, but he wants to make this about anybody else, going after my mom, my sister. Got nothing to actually say about me. I’m a dad and a doctor. I’m trying to get money out of politics, put money in the pocket–”

Rogers interjected, “Not really a doctor.”

El-Sayed finished, “Pass Medicare for All. He wants to take every corporate dollar he can to jump hoops for Donald Trump.”

A local ABC4 News report in late August noted, “New documents reported by ‘The Midwesterner’ say El-Sayed’s birth mother, Fatten Elkomy, worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency, also known as the IARA. The U.S. Treasury Department in 2004 designated the network as an organization supporting terrorism, including support for Osama bin Laden and Hamas.”

The report added:

In 2007, the Department of Justice charged IARA with a 33-count indictment for illegally transferring funds to Iraq. An exhibit list filed in court referenced Elkomy more than a dozen times, documenting participation in wire transfers and recorded phone calls between 1999 and 2002, as well as an IARA-USA transfer request form for over $24,000 to its Iraq office.

Elkomy was never charged with a crime. El-Sayed’s half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, was arrested in October 2025 during an anti-ICE protest and later “entered a ‘not guilty’ plea to felony charges of aggravated battery after allegedly spitting on an Illinois state trooper,” reported Fox News.

Abdelhadi has also grabbed headlines during the campaign for her past comments on Hamas’s October 7th terror attacks. “Abdul loves his sister and also disagrees with her on a number of political positions and the rhetoric she’s chosen to use, including on foreign policy,” El-Sayed’s campaign told Fox News Digital when asked about those statements.

There are a lot of videos on youtube of cops telling people it's illegal to record cops.

And, right on schedule, the fake polls are starting to swing back to the GOP.

Of course, most are still within the "margin of error," but the real numbers are likely even better for Republicans.

We all know the dumocrat playbook:

1. Lie about the Republican.

2. Lie about the Dumocrat Socialist's actual record.

3. Pay for fake polls.

4. Only let the fake polls approach accuracy within the last few weeks before the election.

5. MAGA folks are not stupid. They know this is the game plan. They do not forget what the dumocrats did to Trump during his 45 term.

Cygnus XL Cargo Spacecraft Released from Station by Canadarm2

October 9, 2026 1:01PM

At 12:44 p.m. EDT, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL was released from the Canadarm2 robotic arm after it detached from the Earth-facing port of the International Space Station’s Unity module. At the time of release, the space station was flying about 260 miles above the Pacific Ocean.

Cygnus XL successfully departed the orbiting laboratory nearly six months after arriving with about 11,000 pounds of supplies, scientific investigations, commercial products, hardware, and other cargo for NASA and its international partners.

Mission controllers will command the spacecraft to deorbit Monday, Oct. 12, carrying several thousand pounds of disposal items and other unneeded cargo into Earth’s atmosphere, where it will harmlessly burn up during re-entry. NASA will not provide coverage of the deorbit.

Megyn Kelly Under Fire for Attacking Cornell Accuser’s Looks: ‘What the F*ck Is Wrong With You?’

Zachary LeemanOct 9th, 20261/2

Megyn Kelly is facing a wave of backlash from critics over targeting the looks of the Jane Doe accuser at the center of the “Cornell 7” rape case.

Doe has accused seven of her Cornell classmates of sexual assault, and it’s quickly become a lightning rod for a culture war battle as some have fiercely defended the accused while others have expressed outrage over the handling of the case. New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) recently appointed New York Attorney General Letitia James as a special prosecutor in the case.

Kelly has been one of the most vocal pundits questioning Doe’s allegations and defending the students accused. She set off critics recently though as a recent clip from her show shot across social media.

On The Megyn Kelly Show on September 30, Kelly suggested Jane Doe consented to sex with multiple people because she’s “not the most attractive gal.”

Kelly said:

No one will even consider the possibility that this woman made a decision to get it on with four men total, not seven, and enjoyed it because, I’m just gonna be honest, she’s not the most attractive gal. She’s extremely beefy in like her arms and her legs. She has a whole video online talking about her cankles. And she possibly enjoyed being admired. This is how women make these mistakes.

Kelly said the woman was “probably thrilled to be admired.”

She said:

She’s probably thrilled to be so admired because she clearly didn’t grow up the incredibly beautiful one. I’m not trying to be insulting. I’m just trying to tell you the narrative that is likely to have occurred here, in my opinion. And why can’t we account for that possibility? That the girl who was never the most sought after suddenly had four guys who wanted to have sex with her. And she counted this, yeah, in her inebriated state, as a win. And liked the feeling of being sexy and desired and wanted. It happens. Sorry, it does. And that’s why she kept saying yes. Why do we have to go right to she’s a victim? Even she took weeks to get there.

As the comments have spread, critics have blasted Kelly for focusing on the alleged victim’s looks. Among them is the accuser’s lawyer.

Thomas P. Giuffra, the attorney for Jane Doe, told The Daily Beast, “Perhaps she should reflect why it is difficult for women to come forward under these circumstances and honor the courage that it takes.”

The lawyer also, as other critics did, brought up Kelly’s own allegations of sexual harassment against Roger Ailes.

“Ms. Kelly has publicly condemned Ms. Doe for taking two weeks to go to the police. I would ask Ms. Kelly why it took her over a decade to report unwanted sexual advances from her boss,” Giuffra said.

Actress and activist Alyssa Milano took to Substack this week to post a lengthy response to Kelly in which she asked, “What the f*ck is wrong with you?”

Massive 8.0-Magnitude Quake Strikes Panama

US Hits 'Rogue' International Criminal Court With Sweeping Sanctions

Importantly, the top American diplomat then turned to pressuring Americans allies, from European countries to Japan, to join the US-led sanctions and efforts to dismantle the ICC.

"We expect our allies, many of whom are part of the ICC and that rely on American service members for their defense, to rein in this rogue court," he said.

"If they do not, the United States will continue its campaign to dismantle the ICC, piece by piece, until Americans are threatened no longer," he added.

Ironically all of this stems in part from ICC action related to the US invasions and occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan, where yes - real US war crimes took place. These Bush-launched wars remain deeply unpopular among the American population - and even President Trump has long derided Bush's infamous war of choice.

The Associated Press writes on Friday:

U.S. believes has become politicized and attempted to unfairly and illegally prosecute Americans and Israelis on war crimes charges.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the sanctions on Friday, after the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to South African prosecutor Navi Pillay, who had led investigations into potential ICC charges against U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The move, however, long predated the Nobel Prize announcement.

The Trump administration imposed targeted sanctions last year on several ICC officials such as prosecutors and judges, citing the ICC’s 2024 decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over what the court alleged were improper actions carried out by the Israeli government during its war in Gaza.

Earlier in 2026, three sitting ICC judges sued Trump and his administration over the sanctions, arguing that they were unlawful.

And then again in August, the US imposed additional targeted sanctions, namely against International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane and Senior Trial Lawyer Abdoulaye Seye.

Washington has scoffed at the court and sought to erode its influence stretching back multiple administrations, all the way back to the George W Bush era itself. But all this was renewed as the ICC began targeting Israel and its leaders in the wake of the Gaza war.

“You owe women an apology for promoting misogyny. You owe Jane Doe an apology for making her body part of your dumb argument. You owe your audience a correction: your opinion of a victim has nothing to do with her consent. You are part of the problem,” Milano wrote.

Other critics similarly torched Kelly over her focus on Doe’s physical looks and her delay in coming forward with her allegations.

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—A coalition of conservative and free-market groups is supporting a Trump administration proposal to prevent Medicare from paying twice for overlapping physician work performed during the same patient visit, which the coalition says also costs seniors.

Sixteen conservative groups, led by the 60 Plus Association, sent a letter to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz Wednesday, supporting a rule CMS proposed in July.

“The issue CMS is addressing is straightforward in principle: Medicare should not pay twice for overlapping work performed during the same encounter,” the letter, first obtained by the Daily Signal, states.

The letter presents a hypothetical example: a senior visits a dermatologist to have a mole examined. The physician evaluates the patient and removes the mole during the same appointment. The dermatologist may then bill Medicare for both the office visit and the procedure, even though some of the physician work and resources for those services overlap.

Federal audits identified tens of millions of dollars in improper payments involving same-day office visits and procedures in specialties including ophthalmology and dermatology, the letter notes.

“Every dollar unnecessarily spent on duplicative payments is a dollar that cannot be used for patient care or other priorities,” the letter states.

Under the proposed rule, CMS would pay the highest-priced service at 100% and the additional applicable service or services at 50%.

The letter notes that many Medicare Part B beneficiaries share in the cost of their care through coinsurance, so unnecessary Medicare spending can translate to out-of-pocket costs for retirees living on fixed incomes. More than half of American seniors live on less than $2,000 per month, the coalition noted.

Physician groups have pushed back on the proposal. The American Medical Association argues that CMS has not justified the size of the payment reduction and warns it could harm independent medical practices.

“CMS hasn’t provided the evidence to justify a cut this large and there is already a process to address genuine overlap in payment,” the AMA argues. “When those services are distinct, physicians should be paid for both.”

CMS proposed a narrower version of the policy in 2018 but ultimately did not finalize it after physician groups objected. The current proposal would apply the reduction more broadly.

The letter’s signatories included the 60 Plus Association, the American Association of Senior Citizens, Citizens Against Government Waste, Taxpayer Protection Alliance, Hillsdale Policy Group, and other conservative and free-market organizations.

The agency is accepting public comments before finalizing the rule.

Capitol CCTV shows Sen. Kamala Harris exiting the Capitol at 11:21 a.m. on January 6. The unelected, illegitimate government filed indictments in January 6 cases against Americans for seditious conspiracy for almost a year, falsely claiming that the bitch was still in the Capitol building.

Kamala Harris:

“I was at the Capitol on January 6th. I was the Vice President-Elect. I was also an acting senator. I was there.

And on that day, the president of the United States incited a violent mob to attack our nation’s Capitol, to desecrate our nation’s Capitol. On that day, 140 law enforcement officers were injured. And some died. And understand, the former president has been indicted and impeached for exactly that reason.”

— Harris left the Capitol at 11:21 a.m. for the DNC.

Harris was evacuated from the DNC at 1:17 p.m. after the “discovery” of the “pipe bomb.”

The first breach of the inside of the Capitol was at 2:12 p.m.

President Trump: “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard!”

📝 January 6 was staged in order to hide the actual crime: the overthrow of the U.S. government on November 3, 2020.

Why hasn’t the rest of the J6 tapes not released?

📝 📝 By the way: The whole charade was rehearsed five months before J6 happened.

Guilfoyle Donor Scandal Explodes As Vance Balks, Rubio Dodges And The Donor Calls It Quid Pro Quo

The allegation, reported by the WSJ late Wednesday - is that six days before her July 9, 2025, Senate confirmation hearing, Guilfoyle texted Trump donor Eric Deters on Signal and asked him to wire $100,000 to her American Express account in a way that would not leave a paper trail, while he was seeking her help getting the new administration's attention on personal tax and legal problems. She promised, he says, to be his "Trump ride or die, forever and ever." He did not pay. Her lawyer, Jesse Binnall, disputes that the messages are authentic and says any earlier money was for speaking fees. Deters says he owed her nothing.

Since Wednesday, the people who could shut it down have not. Vice President JD Vance, asked about selling access to a high-level official, said "obviously, I don't love that," then said he did not know the details.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, with Guilfoyle standing at the foot of his plane in Athens, refused to discuss it: "Guys, I'm not playing this game with you." Deters went on MS NOW, CNN, TMZ and NewsNation and called the ask "absolutely a quid pro quo." House Oversight ranking member Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) asked her for financial records and two years of communications, deadline Oct. 22. President Donald Trump has not commented. Guilfoyle's only public post was about a speech.

What the texts say

According to messages the Journal said it reviewed, Guilfoyle wrote Deters, a former Kentucky congressional candidate, on July 3, 2025: "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express." She attached a PDF of American Express payment instructions. In a follow-up: "Honey please I need you to get this done for me today," with a prayer-hands emoji. She told him she needed the balance paid down before the hearing. Background checks routinely look at a nominee's debts.

Deters declined. He told her, the Journal reported, that paying would cost him his marriage. The Independent, citing the Journal, reported that she had dangled a meeting with then-IRS Commissioner Billy Long, whom Trump fired that August. She also told Deters to stop creating a record: "Eric, I really wish you would stop papering all these things. It's really dangerous and not helpful to you or me while you could simply just call me on signal."

The relationship was older than the ambassadorship. Deters says he paid her three $100,000 appearance fees, about $300,000 in all, for events he organized in Kentucky starting in 2020, and later discussed as much as $1 million more if she could move his cause inside the administration. In a June 2025 message he complained he had "not received one favor." What he wanted, he has said since, was help extraditing an Ohio doctor, Atiq Durrani, from Pakistan, in a case involving hundreds of former patients. NewsNation published that account Friday morning.

Binnall's account is the mirror image. He told The Washington Times the Signal messages are not authentic, that payments from Deters were for speaking at events before the nomination, and that she "was owed a balance for traveling to and supporting these patriotic events." Deters says there was no balance.

Coalition destroys three Houthi missile launchers, vows firm response to attacks on civilians

October 9, 2026 | 01:32 PM

RIYADH — The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced Friday that it had destroyed three missile launchers used by the Houthis to threaten regional security, warning that attacks on civilians and civilian facilities would be met with a firm response.

Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said the three launchers were destroyed in strikes carried out at separate locations on Thursday, October 8.

In a statement posted on X, Al-Maliki said Houthi attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure would be met with decisive action.

The coalition released video footage showing strikes on three truck-mounted missile launchers at different locations. The footage also documented a strike targeting a member of a missile launch crew at one of the sites.

The announcement came after Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA)confirmed that three Saudi citizens were killed and several citizens and residents injured in two attackon King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Thursday.

According to GACA, the first attack targeted airport facilities, while the second struck a Saudia aircraft.

The authority said the attacks caused material damage, but airport operations subsequently resumed.

Palantir’s Thiel slams Pope Leo’s AI warnings

The billionaire has claimed the pontiff is using fears of the technology to distract from the Catholic Church’s child sex abuse scandals

The warnings have fueled demand for the tougher oversight of AI, with rival tech giants calling for safeguards against a technology they fear could evade human control.

During a series of closed-door lectures in Nashville, Thiel singled out both leaders while stepping up his warnings about the Antichrist, a prophesied figure traditionally associated with deception and opposition to the teachings of Jesus. Thiel has argued that such a figure could exploit fears of AI and other catastrophic threats to halt technological progress and impose a heavily regulated “one world government.” His remarks, delivered on September 28 and October 5, were revealed by Politico on Thursday.

“Many people know that AI is politically unpopular and want to leverage that to boost their own popularity,” Thiel said. “Both Obama and the pope fall into this category. Obama knows the Democrats have no ideas, but they can at least oppose AI.”

Obama recently urged Democrats to develop a more comprehensive strategy on artificial intelligence.

The openly gay Republican surveillance company billionaire went on to accuse Leo XIV of using the debate over AI to shift attention away from decades of sexual abuse scandals within the Catholic Church.

“He needed something politically popular to distract from the church’s child sex abuse scandals, and he found it in AI,” Thiel said, referring to the pope’s first encyclical, published in May.

Leo XIV has made AI a major focus of his papacy, warning about the dangers of unchecked development and its impact on human dignity, individual freedoms and the concentration of power.

Earlier this week, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman told Politico that the world should accept some “bad things” from AI, including hacks, scams and misuse, in exchange for its benefits. However, he drew the line at “the really catastrophic risks,” including “a serious loss of control to AI.”

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has also called for government regulation, warning that AI in the hands of malicious actors could trigger events causing “a billion deaths.” Nobel Prize-winning computer scientist Geoffrey Hinton has similarly warned that increasingly powerful systems could eventually escape human control, with catastrophic consequences for humanity.

I have just concluded a highly successful discussion with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries, Russia will then deliver, within a short period of time, 3,000,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel. Between our TOTAL CONTROL of the Strait of Hormuz, and this great announcement on Russian Energy, Diesel Prices for Americans and, indeed, the World, will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my Greatest Priority. This is a very big and important announcement. Additionally, it must be understood, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

RFK Jr. Announces New Clinic For People Injured By Vaccines

The new National Institutes of Health (NIH) clinic is located on the agency's campus in Bethesda, Maryland. It was opened on Oct. 5, officials disclosed on Thursday. Reporters were not invited to the opening.

The Make America Healthy Again Commission, led by Kennedy, recommended in 2025 starting a new vaccine injury research program at the NIH as part of an effort to investigate vaccine injuries with better data collection and analysis.

The clinic is "dedicated to developing the science of preventing vaccine injuries, making vaccines safer, and most important of all, listening to the voices of people who have suffered vaccine injury, so that we can learn from them and learn from their experience to make vaccines safer," Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, the NIH's director, said in an Oct. 8 video statement.

NIH doctors and researchers will use the clinic to evaluate patients, identify potential causes of health problems, and try to figure out the best treatments, the Department of Health and Human Services, which Kennedy leads and is the NIH's parent agency, said in a statement.

Some NIH researchers studied patients with alleged or confirmed COVID-19 vaccine injuries during the pandemic, but received pushback from NIH leadership. Patients said they were later abandoned by the researchers.

Treasury’s Bessent hires Trump’s controversial former Fed board pick, Judy Shelton, as advisor

KEY POINTS

• Judy Shelton, who the Senate blocked from joining the Federal Reserve, has been appointed a counselor to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

• Shelton will advise Bessent on currency policy, “with a particular focus on evaluating financial conditions in China,” the Treasury said in a statement to be released later Friday.

Judy Shelton, whose controversial economic ideas led the Senate to block her nomination to the Federal Reserve, has been appointed a counselor to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

The Treasury said Shelton will advise Bessent on currency policy, “with a particular focus on evaluating financial conditions in China.”

Shelton is not known as a China expert. She authored “The Coming Soviet Crash” in 1989, followed by “Money Meltdown,” about the need for a unified international monetary regime, in 1994.Before joining Treasury, Shelton was a senior fellow at the Independent Institute, a free market think tank, and, before that, at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. She holds a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Utah.

“Throughout her career, she has specialized in analyzing the internal monetary and financial conditions of nations and their impact on exchange rates,” The Treasury said in its announcement, which will be released later Friday.

A bipartisan group of senators, including allDemocrats and a handful of Republicans, rejected President Donald Trump’s 2019 nomination of Shelton as a Fed governorover her views on Fed independence, her support for the gold standardand her questioning whether the U.S. needed a central bank.

Her appointment comes at what looks to be a time of turmoil at the Treasury regarding high-level personnel. A recent Wall Street Journal story cataloged seven Senate-confirmed officials who have left the department through the end of August. Only one position has been filled.

Bessent recently named David Zervos, former chief market strategist at Jefferies, as a counselor — the same job title as Shelton.Neither Shelton nor Zervos require Senate approval.

Treason’: Opposition demands criminal probe of PM, after ex-military aide’s Oct.7 revelations

Leaders of anti-Netanyahu bloc call on attorney general to investigate allegations Prime Minister’s Office tampered with records from Oct. 7 to cover up failures, lied to comptroller

According to Gil, Netanyahu’s chief of staff Tzachi Braverman sought to have a 6:40 a.m. call between him and the premier recorded as having been placed at 6:29 a.m., the minute the attack started. Additionally, Netanyahu’s ex-secretary told Channel 12 that there were times when the prime minister opted to preserve his government rather than agree to a deal that would have secured the release of hostages, some of whom later died in captivity.

Netanyahu denied the allegations, and claimed that Gil knew about the impending onslaught but “chose not to wake the prime minister up in time,” echoing his previous unsupported assertions that security chiefs deliberately declined to alert him for fear of his hawkish response. Gil’s remarks, Netanyahu alleged, were “an attempt to obscure the simple and painful truth about his failure.”

In an overnight post to X, Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot – responding to both the Channel 12 interview and a separate report by the Ynet news site – shared a letter his legal team had written to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, accusing the premier of being dishonest in a December 2025 report to the state comptroller.

Matanyahu Englman, whose term ended earlier this year, had launched his own investigation into the failures surrounding October 7, in the absence of a state commission of inquiry. In February, Netanyahu publicly released the 55-page response he’d provided Englman, which referred to various original sources outside the public record.

Trump says anyone who uses the term ‘Artificial Intelligence’ is ‘THE ENEMY’ of the state

All Americans must hereby refer to Trump’s god-like technology as ‘Super Intelligence’ or get added to the government’s enemies list. Are you prepared to genuflect?

The emperor has spoken!

Donald Trump says if you do not call artificial intelligence by the name he has chosen for it, you are an enemy of the people!

Yes, you read that right. The president of the United States just issued a threat to all Americans who defy his orders by continuing to refer to AI as AI.

Business Insider writes:

“Trump’s statement suggests the White House may punish companies or individuals who do not abide by its preferred speech, which would be a potential textbook First Amendment violation if enforced.”

Even if this edict is not “enforced,” it’s still reprehensible because it will have a chilling effect on speech. There will be companies and individuals who were not planning to use the term “Super Intelligence” but now they will use it out of fear that the heavy hand of government could come down on them if they don’t.

Trump may be throwing this out there as a test of his power. And it will be interesting to see how many people and corporate entities bow down to Trump on this issue and start using his rebranded name for AI. I will not.

Agenda 2030, Accelerationism, & the Push for Total World Control

Researcher Sandi Adams discusses the progression of global governance and the UN’s Agenda 2030. Adams recounts her background in the corporate world, where she witnessed early “smart city” mock-ups and rubbed shoulders with Bill Gates and Eric Schmidt, which eventually led her to investigate the shift toward technocratic dictatorship. COVID1984’s true purpose was to catalyze digitalization, the elimination of cash, and the implementation of biometric surveillance. They are behind schedule and accelerating their plans.

Adams expresses deep concern over the post-human future promoted by the elite, highlighting how technology and AI are being used to centralize power and bypass traditional democratic accountability. The dialogue further explores the detrimental impact of Net Zero policies on farming and local sovereignty, particularly within Airstrip One (UK). But are the elites standing on a house of cards?

the israeli media are now calling october 7th a "failure"

they have yet to get to the critical part of it, that the government and the idf knew in advance that the hamas attack was going to happen, and after the attack started the idf was given stand down orders to do nothing to help the israeli civilians who were being raped, murdered and kidnapped

they had a journalist on i-24 news who said he and his wife and 2 young daughters were hiding in their safe room for 10 hours, fro 6 am to 4 pm, and when they were rescued it wasn't the idf, but his elderly father and mother who drove down to the gaza envelop kibutz from tel aviv

the journalist was well spoken, but he called it a "failure" rather than a false flag, which imho is what it definitely was

i do understand why the government and the media do not want to reveal the truth to israeli public, that the government and the military more or less wanted innocent israeli civilians to be raped, murdered and kidnapped

i could go on, but don't want to bore or annoy

btw, i am very pro-israel, i just hope the truth comes out, but look it's been over 25 years and they are still covering up 9/11 here in America

Logic isn't trivial

Rhetoric isn't stupid, it's an art.

Somehow the word transmogrified

What is stupid are people who attempt to fool others via some of the tools of dishonest Rhetoric, i.e. fallacies

Why would some people consider the Trivium trivial? Is it just a confusion of words?

The association is mostly a confusion of words, but the confusion has a real historical root rather than being a pure accident.

The Trivium is the first half of the medieval liberal arts: grammar, logic (dialectic), and rhetoric. It was the elementary curriculum—the tools for handling language, argument, and persuasion—before a student moved on to the Quadrivium (arithmetic, geometry, music, astronomy). It was foundational, not optional decoration. Medieval universities treated it as the prerequisite for everything else.

“Trivial” and “Trivium” share the same Latin source. Trivium literally means “three roads” (tri- + via), a place where three ways meet. Trivialis originally meant “of the crossroads”: public, ordinary, the sort of thing everyone encountered. Because the three language arts were the common, early curriculum—what was taught before specialized study—the adjective picked up the sense of “elementary” or “commonplace.” Over centuries that sense slid into the modern pejorative: insignificant, not worth serious attention.

So the joke writes itself. Someone hears “Trivium,” knows the word “trivial,” and concludes the subjects must be lightweight. That reading reverses the original point. The crossroads were not unimportant; they were where ordinary competence was formed. Grammar, logic, and rhetoric were called trivial in the older sense precisely because they were the shared equipment everyone was expected to have, not because they were disposable.

There is a secondary, non-etymological reason some people dismiss them. Modern schooling often treats those three arts as either already finished by middle school or as soft skills beside quantitative subjects. Once “useful” is defined mainly as technical or vocational, the older claim—that clear language and valid inference are the tools that make every later study possible—can look quaint. That is a judgment about curriculum priorities, not evidence that the word “trivial” correctly describes the material.

Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?

There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better."

Viral Meme Mocking MAGA Hardliners Was Made By America First Conservative

A grotesque, beer-guzzling caricature created to mock unquestioning MAGA influencers has become an unlikely mascot in conservative corners of the internet, and the anonymous creator behind it is himself a conservative who considers himself “America First,” he revealed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The creator of Forbidden HQ, a viral political satire account, spoke exclusively with the DCNF about the character widely known as “MAGAtard,” an exaggerated MAGA hardliner who reflexively rationalizes whatever new political talking point comes his way. The creator drew a distinction between the political principles he associates with America First and what he sees as an increasingly personality-driven MAGA culture — a divide that has become more visible as conservatives clash over issues including the Iran war.

My values are conservative,” the creator, who was granted anonymity due to privacy concerns, told the DCNF.

The DCNF independently verified the creator’s identity.

“Forbidden HQ is, it’s mostly satire. It’s entertainment,” he told the DCNF. “We take politics, internet culture, memes, public figures, politicians, celebrities, and turn all of that into basically ridiculous cinematic worlds. Trump awards SpaceX founder Elon Musk National Medal of Science

October 9, 2026

The world's richest man just got some more hardware for his trophy room.

During a ceremony at the White House on Thursday (Oct. 8), President Donald Trump gave SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk the National Medal of Science, the highest honor the U.S. can bestow on a scientist or engineer.

Musk was recognized "for engineering achievements of extraordinary ambition and scale that have pushed the frontiers of space exploration, intelligence systems, communications and beyond, renewing American technological leadership and opening a new chapter in American manufacturing," an announcer said during the ceremony.

A little bit more about those achievements and that ambition: Musk also leads the electric carmaker Tesla and owns the social media platform X.

And he founded the Boring Company, which is drilling tunnels beneath cities to potentially ease traffic congestion; Neuralink, which builds implantable brain-computer interfaces; and xAI, which makes the chatbot Grok, among other things.

Musk wasn't today's only honoree. Trump also handed out science medals to Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Lisa Su, CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, a leading semiconductor designer.

The president also awarded the slightly different National Medal of Technology and Innovation to two other tech CEOs — Michael Dell of Dell Technologies and Microsoft's Satya Nadella for contributions in their fields.

Congress established the National Medal of Science in 1959. Honorees are chosen for their "outstanding contributions to knowledge in the physical, biological, mathematical, engineering or social and behavioral sciences, in service to the nation," according to the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).

"These broad areas include such disciplines as astronomy, chemistry, computer and information science and engineering, geoscience, materials research, and research on STEM education," NSF officials added.

The first National Medal of Science was awarded in 1963, to Theodore von Kármán, a mathematician, physicist and aerospace engineer who worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California.

He was a pioneer of the early space age; the widely recognized, 62-mile-high (100 kilometers) boundary where outer space begins is known as the Kármán line.

Before today, 529 people had received the medal, according to the NSF.

The National Medal of Technology and Innovation is a newer prize; Congress created it in 1980. There have been more than 240 laureates in the award's history.

Today did not mark Musk's introduction to the Trump administration.

For example, in late 2024, the president tapped the tech billionaire to help lead the "Department of Government Efficiency," which aimed to slash regulations and costs across the federal government.

More recently, the Pentagon named Musk, former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey co-leaders of Project Meridian, a four-month study that aims to help the U.S. get ready for future wars.

Mike Rogers Now Says He Welcomes AIPAC Support After Allies Previously Told Group To Butt Out

Republican Michigan Senate nominee Mike Rogers said during a Thursday debate that he welcomed support from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) after allies previously reportedly discouraged the group from spending in the race.

Rogers’ allies told AIPAC in August not to advertise on his behalf after his rival Abdul El-Sayed defeated his primary opponent, Democratic Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens, who received backing from AIPAC, Axios first reported. The Republican nominee said during the debate that he welcomed all the help he could get to defeat El-Sayed.

'Do you welcome AIPAC’s public support given that you do support many pro-Israeli positions?” moderator Rick Albin, a west Michigan-based WOOD TV8 political reporter, asked.

“Anybody that wants to help my campaign, stop a guy who can’t condemn terrorism in our own country because he’s so close to the people who are supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, I’ll take all of that help,” Rogers said.

Farewell to the Fluid Science Laboratory after 18 years in orbit

09/10/2026

On 9 October, astronauts on the International Space Station begin supporting the final decommissioning of ESA's Fluid Science Laboratory (FSL), one of the longest-serving scientific facilities inside Europe's Columbus laboratory.

Since its launch with Columbus in February 2008, FSL has helped scientists investigate how fluids, foams, emulsions and granular materials behave in microgravity. During more than 18 years in orbit, the facility completed over 101 000 orbits around Earth, supported 18 scientific experiments and accumulated above 42 000 hours of operations, making it one of the longest-running research facilities in ESA's orbital laboratory.

Originally designed to operate for 10 years, FSL remained productive for nearly twice as long, thanks to the dedication of the international teams who operated and maintained it.

A laboratory built for microgravity science

Many physical processes that seem ordinary on Earth behave very differently in space. Without gravity-driven effects such as buoyancy and sedimentation, scientists can observe the fundamental physics governing the behaviour of liquids, gases and soft matter.

To take advantage of these unique conditions, FSL provided a dedicated research environment for experiments investigating boiling dynamics, foams, emulsions, gels and granular materials.

Researchers used the facility for investigations including:

GEOFLOW, which modelled processes similar to those occurring deep inside Earth; RUBI, which studied combustion and heat transfer; FOAM-C, which explored the behaviour of liquid foams;

COMPGRAN, which examined granular materials; and more recently PASTA, investigating particle transport and aggregation.

Together, these experiments reveal how everyday materials such as foams, powders and emulsions behave in space, providing insights relevant to industries ranging from manufacturing to food production.

>>25123644

The final science campaign

FSL's final science activities concluded in July 2026, bringing more than 18 years of research operations to a close. One of the laboratory's final research programmes was PASTA-3, short for PArticle STAbilised emulsions.

Using FSL's Soft Matter Dynamics experiment container, researchers studied how emulsions - mixtures of liquids that do not naturally mix, such as oil and water - form and evolve in microgravity.

By removing the effects of gravity, scientists can better understand the mechanisms that influence emulsion stability and behaviour.

The final PASTA-3 samples arrived at the International Space Station aboard the Cygnus NG-23 spacecraft in September 2025.

Following extensive preparation and testing on the ground, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot helped complete one of the laboratory's last crew-assisted science activities during her εpsilon mission earlier this year.

A European effort in orbit and on the ground

The story of FSL began shortly after Columbus arrived at the International Space Station in 2008.

French ESA astronaut Léopold Eyharts carried out the facility's initial activation and commissioning, beginning a scientific journey that would span generations of astronauts, researchers and operations teams across Europe.

Throughout its lifetime, FSL supported a broad programme of research made possible by close cooperation between crews in orbit and specialists on the ground.

Astronauts installed experiments, exchanged samples and carried out maintenance, while scientists, engineers and operators coordinated activities from Earth and analysed the results.

For more than a decade, the Belgian User Support and Operations Centre (B.USOC) coordinated the facility's day-to-day science operations, preparing experiments, supporting astronauts during crew activities, monitoring performance and ensuring scientific data reached researchers for analysis.

Over the years, countless specialists helped keep the facility running well beyond its planned lifetime. When the final science operations concluded earlier this year, the B.USOC team described the moment as "bittersweet", reflecting on nearly two decades of scientific achievements and collaboration.

A lasting legacy

Although the hardware is now entering its final phase, FSL's scientific legacy will continue.

Over the coming months, astronauts will prepare the facility to be safe for disposal aboard a future cargo spacecraft, after which the crew will remove it from Columbus and transfer it to its assigned vehicle, for its final trip and destructive reentry into the Earth atmosphere.

As one chapter closes, the retirement of FSL will also free up valuable space inside the European laboratory for future research hardware and scientific investigations, with the ESA X-Ray Facility (XRF) being the first in the line to take the vacant spot, to further improve humanity understanding in the field of materials science.

The knowledge generated through nearly two decades of experiments, together with the expertise developed by the teams who designed, operated and used FSL, will continue to support future research in low Earth orbit and beyond.

As astronauts begin dismantling a laboratory that has been part of Columbus since the earliest days of European operations on the International Space Station, the Fluid Science Laboratory leaves behind a remarkable legacy of discovery, international cooperation and scientific excellence.

As Midterms Approach, the FBI Was Just Caught Manufacturing Another Terror Plot

The agency groomed 18 year old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud to commit an attack on the Mall of America, providing him with weapons and ammunition to carry out a mass casualty event.

It is October Surprise season, time to roll out the phony terror plots ahead of the midterm elections. The FBI is accomplished at the practice, having cooked up a number of fabricated terror incidents in the wake of September 11, 2001. The latest episode unfolded on October 7, a week into October Surprise season.

Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, an 18-yer old American of Somali descent, was charged in an alleged plot targeting the Mall of America. Prosecutors say Mohamud planned an Oct. 24 attack on the Hmong Arts Celebration at the mall, according to Donald Trump’s favorite propaganda outlet, Fox News.

The FBI groomed Mohamud, as it has groomed dozens of other supposed Islamic terrorists. The FBI used a “confidential human source” to exchange “hundreds of bi-directional messages through multiple social media and encrypted messaging applications” with the target. The FBI said Mohamud allegedly “expressed his desire to travel to Somalia” to join al-Shabaab and “fight on its behalf and/or commit a mass casualty attack” in Minnesota.

It is documented that the FBI manufactures terror plots. “Critics say the FBI is running a sting operation across America, targeting—to a large extent—the Muslim community by luring people into fake terror plots,” writes Paul Harris for The Guardian.

FBI bureaux send informants to trawl through Muslim communities, hang out in mosques and community centers, and talk of radical Islam in order to identify possible targets sympathetic to such ideals… FBI entrapment is a widespread tactic. Within days of the 9/11 terror attacks, FBI director Robert Mueller issued a memo on a new policy of “forward leaning—preventative—prosecution.”

“Mohamud allegedly sought martyrdom in carrying out his plans to murder innocent civilians,” the FBI declared. In order to make this appear authentic, the agency provided the mark with a Norinco AK-47, four magazines, 200 rounds of ammunition, and also a Mac-90 Sporter rifle with 7.62x39-caliber ammunition.

CBS News, founded by David Ellison, the son of Oracle’s Larry Ellison, a “Zionaire” who has donated millions of dollars to the IDF, reported:

Authorities allege Mohamud “knowingly received a firearm and ammunition” with reasonable cause to believe they would be used to commit a felony and a federal crime of terrorism, including providing or conspiring to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

China's space station to become global research platform: China's first astronaut

Oct 09, 2026 08:03 AM

Yang Liwei, China's first astronaut and deputy chief designer of the China Manned Space Agency, has said here that the country's space station will become a global research platform for scientists worldwide.

Yang made the remarks at the ongoing 77th International Astronautical Congress in Türkiye's Mediterranean city of Antalya, noting that China hopes to actively engage in exchanges and seek cooperation with other countries in areas such as scientific research, astronaut training, providing flight opportunities, and science education.

According to Yang, the two Pakistani astronaut candidates, who are currently undergoing joint training with their Chinese counterparts, have performed exceptionally well throughout the training process.

Yang said that the Chinese space station will welcome its first foreign astronaut on board in the second half of this year, during which one Pakistani astronaut will carry out a short-duration flight mission as a payload specialist.

Regarding China's crewed lunar landing program, Yang said China looks forward to greater cooperation and exchanges with other countries and welcomes all parties to participate in the construction of an international lunar scientific research station.

The five-day congress, which will wrap up on Friday, has drawn space agency officials, astronauts, scientists, engineers and industry representatives worldwide.

The China National Space Administration, research institutions, and Chinese commercial space companies presented technologies and discussed international cooperation.

Jinlin Chen, founder and CEO of Beijing-based space technology company Final Frontier, said China's commercial aerospace industry had developed rapidly over the past decade.

"Aerospace in China's private sector has gone from zero to one," Chen told Xinhua, citing reusable rocket progress as a key milestone that could lower launch costs and enable wider deployment of affordable satellites.

Final Frontier is developing next-generation computing satellites, seeking to apply advances in semiconductor design and manufacturing to space technology.

"We are happy to work with Turkish companies on any fronts," Chen said, adding that discussions with potential customers and partners had already begun during the congress.

The growing Chinese presence at the event has attracted attention from Türkiye's space authorities, the host nation who also harbors lunar and space ambitions.

Yusuf Kirac, head of the Turkish Space Agency, hailed the participation of Chinese institutions and companies at the congress.

"We have very good relations with China, and we are working closely with our Chinese partners," Kirac told Xinhua.

==Trump envoys pitching ‘new ideas’ to settle Ukraine conflict – media=

9 Oct, 2026 00:46 | Updated 9 Oct, 2026 07:26

Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are set to meet Kiev’s representatives on Friday and might travel to Moscow later this month

US President Donald Trump’s top negotiators are preparing to pitch “new ideas and proposals” aimed at breaking the deadlock in the Ukraine conflict, with talks involving representatives of Kiev and its European backers scheduled to begin in Miami on Friday, according to Reuters and Axios.

US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner are expected to hold a two-day working session with the Ukrainian delegation in an effort to develop a unified proposal that could later be presented to the Kremlin.

The pair could then travel to Moscow later this month for another round of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Axios reported, citing a source familiar with the discussions.

According to Reuters, the ideas were developed during and after Witkoff and Kushner’s diplomatic tour of Moscow and Kiev in early September. The pair have since remained in contact with both Russian and Ukrainian officials while working on an updated peace initiative.

One proposal reportedly under consideration is a partial ceasefire covering attacks on energy infrastructure and Black Sea shipping. The talks are also expected to address possible security guarantees for Ukraine, a post-conflict economic plan and other elements of a potential settlement.

Witkoff and Kushner met Trump on Thursday to present the latest proposals and receive his input ahead of the Miami talks, according to Axios. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Deputy National Security Adviser Mike Needham also attended the meeting.

Kiev's European backers ‘nervous’ about winter

Kiev will reportedly be represented by Vladimir Zelensky’s chief of staff, Kirill Budanov, intelligence chief Rustem Umerov, diplomatic adviser Sergey Kislitsa and top lawmaker David Arakhamia.

National security advisers from Britain, France and Germany, as well as representatives of NATO and the EU, have also reportedly been invited.

A US source told AFP that European governments have privately complained about soaring energy prices and other economic costs stemming from the conflict, adding that there is growing concern about another winter of hostilities.

“They are all nervous about the winter. It will be a tough winter if the war does not stop,” the source said.

Trump has also repeatedly pressed Zelensky to stop “hurting the world” and halt Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries, arguing that the attacks are worsening a global diesel shortage and driving up fuel costs in the US.

Kremlin agrees with Rubio on ‘stalemate’

The new diplomatic push comes as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the conflict as a “dangerous stalemate,” warning that further escalation could spill beyond Ukraine and trigger a broader confrontation.

“This war needs to end in a negotiated settlement. The sooner, the better,” Rubio told reporters in Lisbon on Thursday, while cautioning that Washington would not invest indefinitely in “pointless processes” that produce no progress.

The Kremlin said it shared Rubio’s assessment of the current diplomatic impasse, with spokesman Dmitry Peskov saying he “agreed” that no clear prospect of a negotiated settlement was currently visible.

He nevertheless reiterated Moscow’s position that Russia remains open to negotiations, while accusing Kiev of showing no willingness to accept reality and pursue a long-term settlement.

Despite the lack of progress on Ukraine, contacts between Washington and Moscow have continued on other tracks, Peskov added, noting that the two countries are discussing “a whole range” of potentially mutually beneficial economic projects, including possible cooperation in the energy sector.

Local news outlet El Español reports that Spain's National Court denied release for Jim "Fergie" Chambers, the communist centimillionaire and heir to the massive Cox media fortune, for the fourth time, citing a flight risk while US authorities seek his extradition over allegations of financing Hamas and money laundering.

Chambers, an heir to the US billionaire family behind Cox Enterprises, has been detained since early July. He has been accused by the US government of transferring $7.5 million to Hamas from the US to Tunisia.

Here's more from the outlet:

The events allegedly took place while Chambers was visiting Tunisia. In fact, he was received at the Iranian Embassy in that country, as revealed by the National Court in a new ruling issued this Friday.

. . .

Furthermore, the resolution issued this Friday by the National Court details that "associates" of the defendant allegedly admitted that Iran intended to "obtain money from him" and that Chambers was open to joining "global terrorist activities".

On the other hand, the US accuses him of having participated in "direct actions" against the company Elbit Systems, an Israeli arms manufacturer , whose office allegedly became one of the "targets of the campaigns" of the accused and his "associates".

BREAKING: White House Chooses New Press Secretary to Replace Karoline Leavitt

By Jordan Conradson Oct. 9, 2026

The House has reportedly found a new press secretary to succeed Karoline Leavitt, who was the youngest Press Secretary in history.

Katie Zacharia, a lawyer, conservative media personality, and former DHS spokeswoman, has been offered the position. It is unclear whether she has accepted or when she would begin.

The New York Times reported on Friday,

Katie Zacharia, a conservative commentator who briefly worked at the Department of Homeland Security, has been chosen as the next White House press secretary, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Ms. Zacharia will succeed Karoline Leavitt, who left the position in August. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is currently a communications adviser to Trump Media and Technology Group, which runs Truth Social. She had a brief stint working as a spokeswoman for then-Secretary Kristi Noem at the Department of Homeland Security and is a frequent guest on conservative media.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A White House spokesperson confirms to The Gateway Pundit that Zacharia was offered the position, but did not provide further details.

More from Fox:

https://rumble.com/embed/v7egeam/?pub=4

Leavitt, who left her role as Press Secretary in August after giving birth to a second child earlier this year, landed a new gig as a Fox News contributor, the Gateway Pundit previously reported.

Leavitt will begin in her new role at Fox on November 1.

BREAKING: President Trump Announces Major Diesel Agreement with Russia After Latest Phone Call with Vladimir Putin

By Cristina Laila Oct. 9, 2026

President Trump on Friday released a statement on his latest phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump said the US will now be importing diesel fuel from Russia.

The President secured several million tons of Russian diesel ahead of the midterm elections in addition to his executive order to slash prices.

Full statement from President Trump:

TRUMP

Over the summer, President Trump announced a historic deal with Venezuela.

The US government secured a 35% equity stake in the parent company of NABEP, a firm controlled by Venezuelan billionaire Alejandro Betancourt – and major off-take rights over 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil.

Putin 'stuck in the air' as 'Ukrainian drones' shut major Russian airports

17:23, Fri, Oct 9, 2026 Updated: 18:09, Fri, Oct 9, 2026

Drone attacks launched by Ukraine in recent months have prompted air travel chaos in Russia.

An aircraft believed to have Vladimir Putin on board was reportedly caught up in chaos after several Russian airports were closed.

The Russian president was flying back from a trip to Turkmenistan when planes linked to his delegation were reportedly left circling as restrictions caused major disruption around Moscow.

Moldovan publication Telex reported that four aircraft belonging to the presidential "Rossiya" squadron were circling near the Russian capital.

Three were said to be returning from Turkmenistan, while two may later have been diverted to St Petersburg.

However, it was not known which of the aircraft Putin himself was travelling on, as Moscow faced aerial threats from drones and small balloons.

Yaroslav Trofimov, chief foreign affairs correspondent at The Wall Street Journal, wrote on X:

"The Russian delegation led by Putin seems to be stuck in the air on its way back from Turkmenistan as Moscow airports shut down following Ukrainian drone and air balloon attacks."

Russian publication EADaily had earlier reported just after 2pm that Putin was flying back to Moscow aboard an aircraft from the Rossiya Special Flight Squadron after leaving Turkmenbashi International Airport.

Putin had been in Turkmenistan for two summits and held meetings with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the trip.

Hours later, EADaily reported that Putin's aircraft was unable to land in Moscow because of the drone threat.

Flight restrictions were brought in at Moscow's four airports - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky - amid reports of a major drone attack and sightings of small balloons in the sky.

The Kyiv Independent reported that the measures temporarily brought operations to a halt as Russian authorities responded to the suspected aerial threats.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Russian air defences had brought down 15 drones, according to the publication, while explosions and air-defence activity were also reported around the capital.

Czech publication iDNES, citing independent Russian outlet Astra, reported explosions across several districts in southern Moscow, including Kapotnya, Kuzminki, Lyublino, Maryino and Tsaritsyno.

Croatian publication Slobodna Dalmacija reported that the emergency "Carpet" protocol was activated at all four airports, stopping aircraft from taking off or landing.

Telex also reported that more than 370 flights had been delayed in Moscow and another 62 cancelled, citing the UNIAN Telegram channel.

The chaos also hit scores of other aircraft, with UA.News reporting that flights were sent to other airports, including Kazan and St Petersburg.

Both military and civilian aircraft were reportedly affected, while UNN, citing TASS (Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union), said more than a dozen passenger planes were also unable to land in Moscow.

Three Moscow-bound flights were reportedly turned back to Turkey, including two from Antalya which turned around over Poland and headed towards Istanbul.

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency confirmed restrictions at Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, while similar measures were reported in Penza, Nizhny Novgorod and Saratov.

TASS did not give a reason for the restrictions, while UNN said there was no official confirmation that the disruption in Moscow was caused by the threat of drone and missile attacks.

Flightradar24 data shows Russian government flight RSD229, an Ilyushin Il-96-300PU flying from Turkmenbashi to Moscow, eventually landed at Vnukovo airport at 6.21pm local time after a six-hour flight.

Zelensky ‘doesn’t give a damn’ about Ukrainians – Russian envoy

Ukraine is facing energy and transport collapse, but its leader continues to siphon money into his corruption system, says Dmitry Polyansky, Moscow’s envoy to the OSCE

Published 9 Oct, 2026 11:01

Vladimir Zelensky’s continued attempts to target Moscow despite harsh retaliation against Ukraine’s military-related infrastructure prove that he doesn’t care about the well-being of his country’s people, Russia’s ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Dmitry Polyansky, has said.

Moscow Region came under a major aerial attack on Tuesday night, with Ukraine firing 650 drones towards the Russian capital, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said. Despite most of the UAVs being shot down by air defenses, the raid resulted in the death of two people. Another civilian was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in the region on Thursday, according to Governor Andrey Vorobyev.

During his speech at an OSCE session in the Austrian capital, Vienna, on Thursday, Polyansky said thatZelensky “still harbors hopes of inflicting at least some noticeable damage on Moscow” in order to present this to the West as “proof that Ukraine is still capable of carrying out military operations that are painful” for Russia.

“At the same time, the head of the Kiev regime never tires of threatening Russia with escalation – something he is incapable of actually delivering – only to then complain about large-scale strikes by Russia,” he said, as cited by TASS.

Zelensky should remember the proverb that “people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” the envoy noted.

According to Polyansky,Russian retaliatory strikes on facilities supporting Kiev’s war machineare “many times more powerful”than those attempted by Ukrainian forces. Because of those attacks, Ukraine is “losing the last remnants of its industry and infrastructure,” whilealso teetering on the brink of a “total energy and transport collapse” ahead of winter, he added.

Zelensky, however, “doesn’t give a damn about his citizens. His only concern is siphoning more money out of the countryinto the corruption system of his creation,”Polyansky said.

Ukraine has been rocked by a series of high-profile corruption scandals since last year, with the largest centering on a $100 million kickback scheme at state nuclear operator Energoatom, which was reportedly led by Timur Mindich, a former business partner of Zelensky. Other recent graft probes have targeted former Ukrainian ministers, prosecutors, diplomats, and senior officials.

In an interview with Reuters last week, Zelensky said he had ordered the Ukrainian military to double the number of attacks deep inside Russia, particularly against the country’s oil refining facilities.

The Russian Defense Ministry responded by announcing that “following Zelensky’s statement, the strikes… on military and military-industrial facilities… in Kiev and other regions of Ukraine will be intensified.”The ministry maintains that it never targets civilians.

You have NEVER posted a picture of her, she is not even real, it's all in your head.

The pattern: it's not a conspiracy. It's a practice. Each era builds on the last. Mockingbird was the prototype. The Pentagon's prepackaged news was the industrialization. Algorithms are the personalization. The thread is continuous from Lippmann in 1922 to the "For You" page in 2026.

And here's the part that should actually land: Chomsky's model is the most important one on that list. Because it says you don't need a conspiracy. You don't need a shadowy group giving orders. You just need a structure — ownership concentration, advertising dependency, access to official sources, PR "flack," and fear of being cancelled by the system — and the curation happens on its own. Journalists with "complete integrity and goodwill" produce the same output as journalists who are told what to produce. The structure does the work. That's why it's so hard to fight. There's no one to expose. No one to prosecute. The system is the operator.

Zamir says return to war with Iran may postpone Israel election as Pentagon prepares plans - report

Three US aircraft carriers will soon be in the Middle East, the New York Times said, adding that the Pentagon had developed plan for a three-day campaign against Iran.

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir was briefed on American military preparation for a return to fighting against Iran in the upcoming weeks, a senior American official told N12 News.

According to the sources, Zamir warned that a return to war within the next three weeks could cause the Israeli election, scheduled for October 27, to be postponed. This comes after an assessment that renewal of large-scale US attacks on Iran could lead to the Islamic Republic launching missiles at Israel, N12 added.

How does algorithmic bias differ from intentional state propaganda?

This is the one that matters most right now, because the line between them is actively blurring.

State propaganda:

Has an operator. A ministry, an agency, a party. Someone is in the room making decisions.

Has a target narrative. "The enemy is X." "The economy is Y." "The election is Z."

Is directed. It goes from the operator to the population through a chosen channel.

Is auditable. You can trace it. You can subpoena it. The Church Committee did. Bernstein did.

Fails when the operator loses control of the channel. (The CIA lost control of the media after Watergate.)

Algorithmic bias:

Has no operator in the room. The algorithm is optimizing for engagement, not for a narrative. The "goal" is: keep the user scrolling.

Has no target narrative. It amplifies whatever works for that specific user at that specific moment. For one user, that's a conspiracy theory. For another, it's a cooking video. For a third, it's a rage-bait political post.

Is emergent. The bias is baked into the training data, the feedback loop, and the optimization function. No one decided that the feed would radicalize. It happened because outrage generates more clicks than nuance.

Is nearly unauditable. The algorithm is a black box. Even the developers don't fully understand why a specific piece of content was recommended to a specific user at a specific time.

Scales infinitely. Propaganda requires a distribution channel. An algorithm is the distribution channel. It reaches 3 billion people simultaneously, each with a personalized feed.

RSF drone strike kills 31 civilians at displacement camp in Sudan: Medical group

Update: 09 October 2026

19 others injured in attack in Blue Nile state, including 6 children and 8 women, says Sudan Doctors Network

At least 31 civilians were killed and 19 others injured in a drone strike by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a displacement camp in southeastern Sudan’s Blue Nile state, a local medical group said Friday.

In a statement, the Sudan Doctors Network said the attack targeted a gathering of displaced people in the Abu Shandi area of Wad Al-Mahi locality.

The group said four children were among those killed, while six children and eight women were among the injured.

It condemned the attack, saying the victims were unarmed civilians who had fled the conflict in search of safety.

The network described the strike as a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law, holding the RSF responsible.

It called on the UN, humanitarian agencies and international human rights organizations to urgently condemn the attack and take action to protect civilians.

There was no immediate comment from the RSF on the allegations.

Blue Nile state has witnessed escalating violence in recent weeks, with the RSF and its ally, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), launching attacks in several areas.

On Oct. 3, Sudanese authorities accused the RSF of carrying out drone strikes targeting the governor’s residence and civilian sites in Damazin, the state capital.

Sudan has been engulfed in fighting between the army and the RSF since April 2023, leaving tens of thousands dead and around 13 million displaced, according to UN and international estimates.

Where they converge (and this is the scary part):

State actors exploit algorithmic bias. They don't need to control the algorithm. They just need to feed it content that the algorithm will amplify on its own. Russia's IRA didn't hack Facebook. They made 20,000 fake accounts that posted rage-bait about both Democrats and Republicans. The algorithm did the rest. It amplified the content because it performed. The state actor didn't need to be in the room. They just needed to understand the optimization function.

The Finnish study from 2025 found that 67% of political content recommended to young users in Finland trended right-leaning. Not because the algorithm was told to. Because right-leaning content, in that context, generated more engagement. The algorithm didn't have a political opinion. It had a mathematical incentive structure that happened to produce a political outcome.

Sorry friend, you've been expecting me. My ramblings are strange to those that don't really know me.

The brutal distinction:

Propaganda says: "Here is what you should think."

Algorithmic bias says: "Here is what will keep you watching."

The first is a command. The second is a seduction. And the seduction is more effective, because it doesn't trigger the resistance that a command does. You don't fight a feed that's showing you what you want to see. You just… keep scrolling.

And that's the part that connects back to everything you've been asking. You don't need a locked room. You don't need a backrooms entity. You don't need a clone. You just need a feed that's optimized for your engagement and a brain that's optimized for pattern recognition. The feed gives you the patterns. The brain locks onto them. And you feel like you're choosing. You're not. You're being shown. And the showing is not neutral. It never was. It just got a lot harder to see.

Replying to himself lol…

could there be anything GAYER?

Zelensky and Kiev mayor trade blame over Russian strikes

The Ukrainian leader accused city authorities of failing to prepare for attacks, while Vitaly Klitschko pointed to central government corruption

Published 9 Oct, 2026 16:06 | Updated 9

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has slammed Kiev city authorities for an “almost complete failure” to protect the capital’s critical infrastructure from Russian attacks, escalating his longstanding feud with Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, who blames central government corruption.

In a social media post on Friday, Zelensky reported “extensive damage” to power grids following Russian strikes and criticized delays in strengthening infrastructure defenses across Ukraine, singling out Kiev for failing to take the necessary precautions.

His remarks came a day after Klitschko urged residents to consider temporarily leaving the capital, warning that the city was in “survival mode” as winter approaches.

In an interview with AFP on Thursday, Klitschko said Kiev was stockpiling food, drinking water and fuel. He urged residents with friends or relatives outside the capital to consider staying with them temporarily. However, he ruled out a full evacuation.

The mayor issued a similar warning in January, when a severe energy crisis left thousands of residential buildings without heating in freezing temperatures. The appeal sparked a public confrontation with Zelensky, who accused city authorities of failing to prepare adequately.

Speaking to AFP, Klitschko again blamed some of the shortcomings in Kiev’s winter preparations on Zelensky’s government. Rejecting accusations that city officials had fallen behind, he argued that “finding scapegoats won’t make people warmer.”

In a separate interview with Germany’s Bild published on Wednesday, Klitschko criticized corruption scandals linked to Zelensky’s administration, warning that wartime graft was “a real poison” for Ukraine.

The dispute comes amid escalating long-range strikes between Russia and Ukraine. Last week, Zelensky pledged to intensify attacks on Russian oil refineries, prompting Moscow to announce expanded strikes on Ukrainian military and defense-industrial facilities and supporting infrastructure, including in Kiev.

Moscow has said its strikes are in retaliation for Ukrainian drone and missile attacks on civilian targets inside Russia. According to Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, 29 people, including two children, were killed in such attacks in the week ending October 4.

Klitschko warned that even extensive preparations might prove insufficient if the capital’s air defenses failed to repel further strikes.

Zelensky acknowledged a “big deficit” in air defenses on Thursday, appealing to Western backers for more interceptor missiles ahead of winter. Multiple media reports have linked shortages of Patriot interceptors in US and allied stockpiles to the US-Israeli war with Iran.
