Marines protected president back in the day because they were stationed in DC prior to boarding ships.

One last comment after Yorktown in 1781, the revolutionary war did not end till 1783. Congress failed to pay the troops, thus whole regiments under Washington marched in the Capital, then Philadelphia. These marches were stopped by Washington, but just barely for the troops had support even among the officers. Given this was an attack on Congress (Washington was just a General working under the authority of Congress at that time, a Congress that could fire him at any time, unlike when he was President starting in 1789).

 

Thus, the US Army can not claim being โ€œAlways Faithfulโ€ for the Army does not have that record, the Army has marched on Congress, something the other services can say they never did. That history was one off the reason Marines were preferred by Washington over Army Troops in the 1790s.

The Air Force used to be part of the Army, made their own branch around 1947.

 

The Navy and the National Guard are exempt from any restrictions doing law enforcement work in CONUS (Continental US). The National Guard is mostly just part time people (there are a few full time Guardsmen).

 

So, the Marine Corps, being part of the Navy is exempt from Posse Comitatus restrictions.

 

Pretty easy to check on this. Oh, and the POTUS can use the Army under specific circumstances.

 

Pretty simple to use Marines, I would, and I'm retired Army myself. Even was in a "high speed, low drag" unit myself.

I think I found something on the clock, but don't have time or skills to put together a fancy graphic. Long story short, I checked to see what crumbs lined up with Hurricane Michael's landfall on 10/10. Dates I looked at:

The first notable find is that Q posted the above North Korea portrait on 2/12. Note the extremely choppy waterโ€“almost like a hurricane.

 

Next, I was specifically looking for clues about what really happened with the destruction of Tyndall Air Force Base. Interestingly, almost all the crumbs on these dates deal with stolen missiles. Especially 6/12, 8/11, and 4/13.

 

I have a theory that Tyndall AFB was intentionally destroyed by white hats. Maybe there were rogue operations going on at the base. Maybe it was a simple case of being too comp'd by Chinese tech. Whatever the reason, the required solution was to destroy everything and start completely from scratch.

 

Well, I believe I found my answer. I believe it's no coincidence that all of the crumbs that line up with the 10/10 hurricane landfall mention rogue missiles. And that all of this lines up with the number 7 on the Q clock (a number that often follows POTUS around). I believe something bad, probably involving missiles, was going to happen at that base and a giant hurricane was the answer.

The host, Colonel William J. Donovan, known as โ€œWild Billโ€ since his days as an officer during World War I, was close to sixty. A war hero whose valor had earned him the Medal of Honor, Donovan was now back in uniform.1 Donovan responded to the call to duty and put aside a successful Wall Street law practice to become Director of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and Americaโ€™s first spymaster.2

 

Donovanโ€™s guest, for whom he graciously poured sherry, was Stanley Platt Lovell.3 A New Englander in his early fifties, Lovell was an American success story. Orphaned at an early age, he worked his way through Cornell University to ascend the ranks of business and science by sheer determination and ingenuity. As president of the Lovell Chemical Company, he held more than seventy patents, though still described himself as a โ€œsauce pan chemist.โ€

 

Donovan understood that the fight against the Axis powers required effective intelligence operations along with a new style of clandestine warfare. Just as important, he appreciated the role men like Lovell could play in those operations. โ€œI need every subtle device and every underhanded trick to use against the Germans and the Japaneseโ€”by our own peopleโ€”but especially by the underground in the occupied countries,โ€ he had told Lovell a few days earlier. โ€œYouโ€™ll have to invent them all . . . because youโ€™re going to be my man.โ€4

 

The wartime job offered to the mild-mannered chemist was to head the Research and Development (R&D) Branch of the OSS, a role Donovan compared to that of Professor Moriarty, the criminal mastermind of Sir Arthur Conan Doyleโ€™s Sherlock Holmes stories.5 Lovell, although initially intrigued by the offer, was now having doubts and came to Donovanโ€™s Georgetown home to express those reservations.6 He had been in government service since that spring at a civilian agency called the National Development and Research Committee (NDRC). Created by President Roosevelt at the urging of a group of prominent scientists and engineers, the NDRCโ€™s mission was to look into new weapons for what seemed to be Americaโ€™s inevitable entry into the war. Lovell had joined the NDRC to act as liaisonโ€”a bridgeโ€”between the military, academics, and business.7 But what Donovan proposed now was something altogether different.

I was just reading about the CIAโ€™s Corona satellite program and happened upon an article about the declassification of Big Bird. It centered on the small company in Danbury, Ct. who secretly made it decades ago. And this passage caught my attention:
