I admit that I don’t follow American politics as much as I should, at least not on a day-by-day basis. It’s just too depressing. Sometimes it reminds me of that famous Russian saying about пауки в банке – “spiders in a jar”. Meaning, that if you force a bunch of spidies to live together in a jar, then they will cuddle and learn to peacefully coexist ….. NOT. In this metaphor, it is understood that the spiders are the politicians, and the jar is the American political scene. With various spiders running for President and trying to bite each other in the process.

 

And one of these spiders, maybe the biggest one, is named Hillary Clinton. And apparently, this has been going on for some time, there was a big scandal whereby Clinton, when she was Obama’s Secretary of State, used her personal email account to conduct governmental affairs. Therefore, there were lawsuits, or whatever, to force her to disclose these emails, because there are laws that official correspondence has to be properly stored in official archives.

 

Consequently, at the beginning of last month, around 5,000 pages of the something-like 55,000 pages of Clinton’s “official/personal” correspondence have been published. Clinton has withheld the lion’s share of the correspondence, but even the paltry stream that has seen the light of day, opens a sticky, filthy edge of the curtain on all the dirty, sticky, secret stuff that has been going on behind the scenes among the Rulers and Exceptional People such as Bubba’s Wife and the other trailer trash reknowned American political leaders.

Many important development projects were lined up and just waiting to kick-off.

 

The Empire Strikes Back

Well, according to the rules of the Colonial Empire, sub-Saharan Africans are not allowed to be successful. Nor Arabs – unless they are Saudis or vassals of the Saudis. Therefore, Gaddafi had to go.

 

According to the VZGLIAD piece, Clinton’s correspondence reveals that the Americans were worried about Libya’s huge reserves of gold and oil. Their chief worry was that Gaddafi — as he had sometimes promised to do — would use Libyan gold as the basis for a pan-African currency. Which would have fit beautifully into the proposed pan-African development bank whose goal was to turn sub-Saharan Africa, especially the African “Francophone” nations, into “tiger-states” of economic boom.

 

These plans were seen to go against the interests of both the U.S. and also its vassal, France, which was eager to regain military/economic influence in its ex-colonies in Africa.

This particular email is very telling. It is dated April 2, 2011, and is written by a guy named “Sid” to Hillary Clinton. Just reading the email, it is clear that we are in the presence of true sociopaths: Clinton, this guy Sid, Sarkozy, Bernard Henri-Levy, all spiders from the same jar.

McClatchy, one of the largest newspaper publishers in the U.S., announced on Thursday that it had frozen pension benefits for “a small number” of former employees.

The company is looking to address “long-term liquidity pressures” caused by its pension obligations due later this year. The company's employee pension plan is underfunded by more than a half-billion dollars, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.

 

“This decision is not taken lightly, but at a time when the company is actively negotiating the future of the qualified pension plan, it would be inconsistent with our culture to continue payments on the non-qualified plans,” Lintecum said in a press release.

McClatchy, which publishes 30 newspapers including the Miami Herald, The Kansas City Star and The Sacramento Bee, is in the process of restructuring negotiations with lenders, bondholders and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation about its pension obligations, according to the press release.

The company said benefits covered by its $1.3 billion qualified pension could continue to be distributed as normal.

 

McClatchy is reportedly the second-largest newspaper chain in the country after GateHouse and Gannett received approval to merge last fall. But it’s not the only news media business to hit rough financial times recently.

The Swiss Bank Program provided a path for Swiss banks to resolve potential criminal liabilities in the United States relating to offshore banking services provided to United States taxpayers. Banks eligible to enter the program were required to advise the department that they had reason to believe that they had committed tax-related criminal offenses in connection with undeclared U.S.-related accounts. As participants in the program, they were required to make a complete disclosure of their cross-border activities, provide detailed information on an account-by-account basis for accounts in which U.S. taxpayers had a direct or indirect interest, cooperate in treaty requests for account information, and provide detailed information about the transfer of funds into and out of U.S.-related accounts, including undeclared accounts.

 

The department executed non-prosecution agreements with 80 banks between March 2015 and January 2016. The department imposed a total of more than $1.36 billion in Swiss Bank Program penalties. Pursuant to today’s agreement, UBP will pay an additional sum of $14,000,000 and will provide supplemental information regarding its U.S.-related account population, which now includes 97 additional accounts.

 

Every bank that signed a non-prosecution agreement in the Swiss Bank Program had represented that it had disclosed all known U.S.-related accounts that were open at each bank between Aug. 1, 2008, and Dec. 31, 2014. Each bank also represented that it would, during the term of the non-prosecution agreement, continue to disclose all material information relating to its U.S.-related accounts. In reaching today’s agreement, UBP acknowledges that there were additional U.S.-related accounts that it knew about, or should have known about, but that were not disclosed to the Department at the time of the signing of the non-prosecution agreement. I collected 4 articles that run against the MSM narrative which states that climate change is to blame for the fires.

We are going through a pretty rough patch down here, similar to what happened in CA.

Massive fires raging for months. Everyone knows someone who has been affected.

Air quality in major cities is the worst in the world at times.

It may not be notable to our US friends but it could help Aussies trying to defend against the MSM lies and redpill their families during the holidays.

That was an ICBM launch by the Navy and it seems headed a bit southerly, so either an ocean target in the south Atlantic, or maybe something in Africa.

 

I'll bet it was done in this location because, just like Trump's convoys to the golf course when he is enroute to Afghanistan, it gets noticed and Trump gets free media coverage. The US military does have to practice its launches, but they don't get much press coverage usually.
