While the Knesset speaker is about to rule on the fate of the immunity request, Israeli publicist and political analyst Avigdor Eskin argues that the investigation and the indictment against Netanyahu were biased from the start.

 

He refers to legal opinion by Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz and a number of high profile American lawyers who earlier called upon Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to drop charges against Netanyahu; denouncing them as "the weaponisation of criminal justice for political purposes".

Avi Berkowitz, assistant to US President Donald Trump and special representative for international negotiations, met with Benjamin Netanyahu for dinner at the prime minister's residence on Monday to discuss the Trump administration's peace plan, The Jerusalem Post has confirmed.

It was not immediately clear how long the meeting lasted and what was specifically discussed.

The visit has marked Berkowitz's first trip to Israel since he formally succeeded Jason Greenblatt in November. It comes amid speculations that the US administration might release its peace plan even before Israel's upcoming elections in March.

The US peace team originally planned to roll out the political part of the plan last summer but decided to wait until a new government in Israel was sworn in. Since then, Israel has been experiencing an unprecedented political deadlock, and now facing a third round of elections.

The peace team is, therefore, facing a decision between two difficult choices. The first is releasing the plan despite the political stalemate in Israel, which could hurt the prospects of its success. The second is to wait until Israel elections in March, which could result in a deadlock yet again. In that case, it might be too late to release the plan so close to the US presidential elections in November.

While it has not been publicly announced yet, Berkowitz is also expected to meet with Benny Gantz, leader of the Blue and White party, before returning to Washington.

THE UGLY TRUTH ABOUT VIRAL IMAGE OF BUSHFIRES FROM SPACE

 

The scale of the bushfire disaster and the horrifying images emanating from Australia right now need no exaggeration – and yet, deliberately or not, images and claims have been circulating online that aren’t what they appear to be.

 

There have been numerous pictures, videos and claims spread online during this ongoing crisis that don’t stack up. Some appear to have been deliberately intended to spread falsehoods while others accidentally took on a life of their own on social media, with the underlying truth becoming lost along the way.

 

One of the latest is a widely shared composition image of satellite data purporting to show fire-affected areas for the past four weeks, with the 3D render of the image giving an exaggerated effect. However many have shared it believing it shows the scale of fires from space.

 

After it went viral, creator Anthony Hearsey, sought to clarify the true nature of the image.

 

“Didn’t realise this would go viral … This is a 3D visualisation of the fires in Australia. NOT A PHOTO. Think of this as a prettier looking graph,” he explained.

 

“This is made from data from NASA’s FIRMS (Satellite data regarding fires) between 05/12/19 - 05/01/20.

These are all the areas which have been affected by bushfires.

 

“Scale is a little exaggerated due to the render’s glow, but generally true to the info from the NASA website. Also note that NOT all the areas are still burning, and this is a compilation.”

 

Despite the clarification, it continued to be shared Tuesday morning including by celebrity Jason Momoa who posted it to his 14.4 million Instagram followers.

 

Another pair of images doing the rounds shows continental Australia being overlaid with the United States with an exaggerated number of fires burning. One has even been posted by America’s ABC News.

 

It follows a string of misinformation and misrepresentation online surrounding the bushfires.

 

An online petition this week which claimed a volunteer fire fighter who delivered an expletive-laden reproach to the Prime Minister could be stood down was completely untrue.

 

Also this week, UK media outlet The Sun shared a video of firefighter rejoicing in the field as rain falls. The only problem is the video is actually from November.

 

Earlier, a particularly harrowing photo of a mother and her children hiding in the water to escape 2013 fires in Tasmania was circulated as if it was from the current disaster.

 

At the more extreme end, some accounts, including online bots, have shared the more ludicrous conspiracy theory that environmentalists are lighting fires to further the agenda of climate action. While The Australian reported on Tuesday there has been 183 arrests made this fire season for arson, there has been no suggestion or evidence that any of them have been politically or ideologically motivated.

 

According to Dr Timothy Graham from Queensland’s University of Technology, there is a lot of bot and troll activity surrounding the #ArsonEmergency hashtag.

 

“Based on my analysis it appears that the bushfires have catapulted Australia into the global disinformation space, and the #ArsonEmergency hashtag is a prime example right now,” he told Yahoo News Australia.

 

The corrosive affect of false information

 

While misinformation is not a new problem, it can be a problem that goes global very quickly with the opaque and ubiquitous world of social media.

 

Aside from muddying the waters during the time of a crisis, the big problem is that it erodes the overall trust in information being disseminated under the catch-all term of media.

 

Dr Andrea Carson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics, Media and Philosophy at Melbourne’s La Trobe University and has researched the “weaponisation” of fake news and the changing nature of online misinformation.

 

She says there is a “direct correlation” between declining trust in media and the explosion of social media as a news source.

The director of Mossad, a branch of the Israeli Intelligence Community, told ministers they were not expecting any attacks from Iran because "Israel stayed in a distance from the incident," adding that the leaders should expect Iran efforts towards retaliation to become more apparent on Tuesday after the national three-day period of mourning for Soleimani is over.

 

A former chief of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards said Sunday the Israeli city of Haifa and Israeli military centers would be included in Tehran’s retaliation for Soleimani's death, according to Reuters.

 

“Iran’s revenge against America for the assassination of Soleimani will be severe. … Haifa and Israeli military centers will be included in the retaliation,” Mohsen Rezaei said in a televised speech to mourners in Tehran.

 

Following the attack, where the U.S. launched three rockets at Baghdad International Airport, killing the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' elite Quds Force as well as Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of Iran-backed militias known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, and five other people, Netanyahu issued a statement with brief congratulatory remarks to President Trump, a longstanding ally in the region.

 

"Qassem Soleimani brought about the death of many American citizens and many other innocents in recent decades and at present. Singapore digital bank race heats up with 21 licence bidders

 

Singapore has drawn huge interest from technology firms looking to shake up the city-state's banking landscape, attracting 21 applications for five digital bank licences on offer.

 

Among firms that have publicly said they are bidding are Alibaba Group affiliate Ant Financial, a joint venture between Singapore Telecommunications Ltd and Southeast Asian ride-hailer Grab, and a consortium led by gaming firm Razer.

 

Singapore's banking liberalisation is its biggest in two decades and follows similar moves in Hong Kong, which issued eight online banking licences last year.

 

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said it received strong interest from a diverse group of applicants but didn't name them. Seven bidders are for retail banks and the rest are for wholesale banks.

 

"These include e-commerce firms, technology and telecommunications companies, FinTechs (such as crowd-funding platforms and payment services providers) and financial institutions," the MAS said on Tuesday. The majority of applications were consortiums.

Washington has reportedly refused to issue a visa to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, even though, as the host of the United Nations headquarters, the US is obliged to allow foreign officials into the country.

 

According to multiple diplomatic sources, the visa request was filed several weeks ago, before the latest escalation, and would give the top Iranian diplomat a stage to speak out following last Thursday’s drone strike assassination of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Qassem Soleimani, along with senior Iraqi militia leaders.

 

The murder of Soleimani, who played a key role in the fight against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorists in Syria and Iraq, has drawn outrage across Iran and Iraq, with Tehran vowing to avenge the assassination, which it called “an act of international terrorism.” Washington, meanwhile, insists that Soleimani was the mastermind behind a spate of attacks on American personnel, including at the US Embassy, and says he was plotting new assaults.

 

This wouldn’t be the first time Washington abused its status as the host of the UN headquarters, refusing to issue visas for nearly a dozen members of the Russian delegation to a summit in New York last year.

I'm pretty talented and decent looking too but don't buy into all the bs either. I traveled and bucketlisted around the country for 10 plus years. Sometimes w just a backpack. I've since settled down a little up on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. Have a small house surrounded by timber co land and on well water. I think what keeps people from joining the Nat'l Guard is the 6 year commitment, if that's still what it is; that's what it used to be. The Soleimani Assassination and Occam's Razor

 

Many are calling Trump's move taking out General Soleimani "4D Chess". I believe there is another strategy at play.

 

Trump has backchannels to Iran and made a deal with Rouhani to take out Iran's General who Rouhani was already losing control over. Soleimani was acting as a lone wolf in Iraq. He was there AGAINST ORDERS from President Rouhani. Solemani was becoming too powerful and he was using Iran's army as his own personal mercenary force. Rouhani was slowly losing control over his own military and Trump saw this as an oppertunity to make a deal with the devil.

 

Both Trump and Iran want US forces to begin wrapping up in Iraq.

 

Rouhani wants Soleimani dead because he is becoming uncontrolled.

 

Trump wants Soleimani dead in order to look powerful and to snub Obama for his pardon of the war criminal.

 

Soleimani's death causes a vote in Iraq for US forces to leave. Now Trump can pull forces without battling in congress.

 

Rouhani and Trump both get what they want. Rouhani gets to cry crocodile tears for his poor general, and trump has made in roads into a deal with Iran.

 

There will be some more back and fourth fake posturing from Iran against Trump in order to save face and create plausible deniability, but ultimately Rouhani will come to the table.

 

Iran will come to the table and agree to inspections and denuclearization in return for sanction relief. The president has become old and weary of this path and he sees Trump as his ally against the Globalists. Now is the time when Iran can come to the table and establish strong economic nationalist trade deals that are free of globalist intervention.

 

Iran realizes that their war has always been against the Rothschild banks and Rouhani realizes that Trump is their enemy as well, so now is the time to make a deal. The deal must be done in secret, where both sides look like enemies in order to save face to the general public who hate each other's guts.

 

This will cause the price of oil to plummet below $30 by end of year.

that's all I think.

Maybe it was nothing.. but it didnt feel like it was nothing. Guess we'll see eventually.

Blinded by God, the Jewish leaders considered all the prophecies which heralded their return as applying to Jews alone (and to their escape from the clutches of Nebuchaddnezzar and his heirs). They saw no future reference in scripture to a spiritual Babylon, or to a more dynamic captivity than their first brief stay at the banks of the Euphrates river.

But the Holy Spirit's sudden appearance at Pentecost, reproducing in precise terms the 52 days of Jerusalem's wall construction, proved that the ultimate return from Babylon was to be centered in Christ, not Ezra.

 

God had emplaced a spiritual wall to replace the fallen ruins of the first return. And He had constructed it in the same time-frame as a biblical proof of the transformation.

 

With the appearance on earth of the Holy Spirit, the rebuilding heralded by the prophets could truly begin because the impenetrable wall protecting the reconstruction of the spiritual ruins of Jerusalem was at that moment perfectly in place.

 

Jerusalem's ruins were synonymous with a humanity that had fallen into the clutches of wickedness. The collapsed walls around it represented a structure without any external defense against sin.

 

Therefore, reconstruction of the wall – the defense of Jerusalem – was the first and most crucial element in its restoration: "Sacrifice gives you no pleasure…my sacrifice is this broken spirit…show your favor graciously to Zion, rebuild the walls of Jerusalem; then there will be proper sacrifice to please you…" (Ps.51:16-19).

 

The wall surrounding the Jerusalem of heaven is the Holy Spirit – because the Holy Spirit is all the defense that God's city needs.

 

"Jerusalem is to remain unwalled, because of the great number of men and cattle there will be in her. But I – it is God who speaks – I will be a wall of fire for her all round her, and I will be her glory in the midst of her." (Zech.2:4-5).

 

That heavenly wall of God's defense extends to us in the form of His grace and is represented by the presence of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us – forming a wall of grace which surrounds us and protects us from Satan's power.

 

Forming our wall of grace against sin, the Holy Spirit is the guardian that Jesus has sent to keep us safe in the faith of the Lord.

 

Because God has wrapped us in this heavenly garment, we can stumble and not die. God's grace keeps us free from sin. We cannot stay down when we slip, of course, but, because of grace, we can get up and continue on our journey to the kingdom of heaven even though we fall down many times.

 

Therefore, as long as we don't give up the exodus we have begun, the wall of grace that God has built around us – the wall that appeared at Pentecost, 52 days after the crucifixion of Jesus – will keep us safe on our journey to Christ's righteousness.

 

Again, this shows that we, ourselves, not the rocks and stones scattered around Palestine, are the true ruins of the Jerusalem God is rebuilding.

 

The wall that Ezra built fell down again, but God's spiritual wall of everlasting grace is an eternal guard, guaranteed by God to keep us safe forever as long as we remain in His word. This wall will never fall.

The TV quoted the head of Iran’s emergency medical services, Pirhossein Koulivand, saying there had been people injured and killed. He did not offer any casualty figures. A procession in Tehran on Monday drew over 1 million people in the Iranian capital, crowding both main thoroughfares and side streets.

TEHRAN — A stampede erupted on Tuesday at a funeral procession for a top Iranian general killed in a U.S. airstrike last week, killing 35 people and injuring 48 others, state television reported.

According to the report, the stampede took place in Kerman, the hometown of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani, as the procession got underway. Initial videos posted online showed people lying lifeless on a road, others shouting and trying to give help them.

 

Iranian state TV gave the casualty toll in its online report, without saying where it obtained the information. Pirhossein Koulivand, the head of Iran’s emergency medical services, earlier spoke by telephone to state TV and confirmed the stampede took place.

 

“Unfortunately as a result of the stampede, some of our compatriots have been injured and some have been killed during the funeral processions,” he said……

There are several reason events are unfolding as they are:

  1. The dismantling of the Iranian nuclear weapons program is huge

  3. The killing of the Iranian General was a result of Iran trying to locate and destroy the team that was taking out their nuclear sites.

  4. Trump is currently in a win win situation. The first is we withdraw from Iraq and let it explode with ISIS fighters and the Shites commencing their executions, attacks, etc.

  5. If the Iranians go crazy, we can only hope, then they go down and so goes their militias in Iran and the likelihood of uprisings in Iran. Currently Saudi Arabia is sending massive amounts of money to opposition groups in Iran.

  6. Trumps primary objectives have already been met. The destruction of the Iranian nuclear program, and the foundation has been laid to get out of Iraq. if we get to that point be scared…because one thing i do know personally is that there are things behind those doors that should not be opened, and if we go there we will see more than just magnetic fields we will see full on demonic manifestations. They want to open the doors. Think about pop culture how many stories even going to lovecraft are about these doors being opened. It is very dangerous. one of the best lines i have used on people is just because you don't believe this stuff, does not mean that there are not people out there that do and are willing to do what is necessary to push their beliefs, i.e sacrifices etc. That helps a bit with the atheists when dealing with the cult stuff, still hard to show people past the government issues, but at the core we are in a biblical war. I still feel like im putting on the armor of God but i pray that when the time comes i will have been trained and know what to do in his Name Jesus…to stand firm in this battle. to help others.

Look at the time, money and effort that has been going on for a decade plus of geo-engineering (chemtrailing) Worldwide IN BROAD DAYLIGHT with hundreds, thousands of these aircraft and all the airfields and associated ground support ON A DAILY BASIS, yet not a peep from any quarter. I've even given up asking folks if they have noticed this obviously strange and unnatural activity in the sky as to a person, they haven't.

 

So any argument that such a large scale project as connected underground cities complete with maglev connecting rail would not have gone unnoticed, is complete rubbish. Just look up at the formerly blue sky for Exhibit A, and only exhibit, to prove that argument wrong.
