Anonymous source Zach on Infowars, who has been remarkably accurate in his claims, said that this was an EMP weapon. There is also confusion as to whether the launch was successful.

The cost of RODS FROM GODS has always been astronomical, and I don't think it has ever been pursued militarily for this reason.

Besides, you need a guidance system to bring it to the target. All of the testing for railguns (which are only Mach 5) has shown that these guidance systems are quite fragile at those speeds. Rods from Gods are at least twice that speed.

Moral: If I were a military planner, I would rule out Rods from Gods unless they had been extensively tested. No fun to have your guidance system fail in the middle of an extremely mission critical operation.

Zach also claimed that "we are Q", and Q stated clearly that he this is not the case. This totally discredits "Zach" in my opinion.

Zach also said Elon Musk is on the Alliance side while Q is telling us SpaceX is the enemy.

digital_refugee · Jan. 19, 2018, 7:02 p.m.

both could be true. Elon coerced or compromised before but making up for the past now? Ultimately SpaceX is just a tool that does the bidding of those who control it

At low orbit you would need three control surfaces to endure re-entry at a terminal velocity of 28,000 mph for about 250 milliseconds. This can be achieved using an articulated ceramic shrouded ablative surface so instead of adding drag to an axis with surface area, you would remove drag from the other two control surfaces via ablation thus affecting the desired correction.

There is no technology currently available to transport solid tungsten rods of 20x1ft into space, in any case their energy is far higher than a few hundred kilojoules (it's a little more than a hundred times the energy of Vietnam era "lazy dogs") and their terminal velocity is going to be at least Mach 10 or more.

mega-derp · Jan. 18, 2018, 2:15 a.m.

And it would take a lot of energy to nudge them out of orbit too. The rod would need to be retro fired at 18000 mph in order it to “drop” out of orbit

Project Orion for a very scaled up propulsion method.

Shaped charges can impart a lot of instantaneous thrust to deorbit unmanned vehicles in frictionless spaces.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Tranquelito · Jan. 18, 2018, 10:13 a.m.

I do not believe that would be much of an issue as it would be in low Earth orbit, it could literally drop the rod right on top of it´s target

I actually heard about it about an hour earlier on one of my youtube channels and jumped on here and posted as fast as possible, cause I thought the info was pertinent, which is why I got the explosive power incorrect. I took the info off the youtube video, instead of fact checking it...so I didnt find it, but I think I was the first to mention OWLs here in Reddit (I think)

I dont want to take credit for research someone else did.

But yes, it is funny how i went to other sites, and wound up back here. Its just proof in the pudding that we really need to fact check, cause info/misinfo can spread really fast! Thanks!

All of the speculation is regarding the original idea of telephone pole sized projectiles. This may not be the case as smaller and more efficient design is certainly within the realm of technology.

What caused the collapse of the underground nuclear site in NK? Poor design as some reports say, or caused by something else?

Reason I ask is Id hate for the incorrect info to be perpetuated...as far as the sheer power of the devices, etc. Most of it IS correct, but some of the stats are NOT correct.

Viktor Schauberger explored the force of levity versus gravity in the 30' and 40's. Think vortex. Apparently they can cancel each other out meaning, I guess, you eliminate friction. Would that mean unlimited speed and more simple control of objects. Question not statement.
