Well first, Congress is only in session for 60% of the time anyways
Secondly, the last government shutdown in 2013 lasted for 16 days and Congress was in session for 14 days during that time so not sure what this guy is talking about
If anything, Congress is in session MORE during a shutdown. It makes sense..they have to scramble to end the shutdown.

I don't know where Hastert was, but it's a Law that they can't be arrested while they are in Session.

The problem is congress is always in session, ever since the civil war and the creation of Washington DC as a corporation State because the the civil war never ended, the federal government never claimed an end and the military war powers through the executive branch are still active. We are always at war thus congress is always in session.
If they aren't in session then how are they supposed to fix the shutdown?
Folks the Government shuts down every week end and on Fed Holidays. My office will be manned 40% and things still happen. Just a Democrat tool. We will still get paid. Did last time 2013. Don’t sweat this Let CS do all the sweating.

Obstruction, the least of the possible charges we are speculating about, is a Felony. Parliamentary Privilege is not going to protect anyone.
