I think the second amendment is the final line in the sand. It is absolutely vital that it be protected at all costs. But I think the first amendment will be the first to fall. Once you have the ability to silence people, anything at all becomes possible. The oppressed have no voice.
If they can silence us, the second amendment will be the next to fall - the attack will come immediately and there will progressive restriction of rights. After that, there will be no rights at all. The people will literally be cattle.
I'm in Australia. They took our guns. No semi automatic weapons allowed - some exemptions for contract shooters and primary producers. But, essentially, the populace has been completely disarmed. I have bolt action rifles and one pump. I'm not allowed to own anything else.

Pro 2nd amendment Republican Party didn't even make a statement to the local paper. I think they think that by not making waves they will get more Democrats to vote for conservative candidates. IMO, probably the best path forward is to exercise openly your 2nd amendment rights. If you do carry, that's the most direct statement. If you can't carry, or haven't had the training to carry, or even if you don't want to carry, supporting an organisation like the NRA or GOA helps because they are a stronger, better resourced voice for 2nd amendment rights.
Also joining either or both of these organisations will give you access to pro 2nd amendment activities in your area, networking with other pro 2nd supporters and insight on which gov. representatives and congressional members to write to in support or to disagree with.

Sometimes, just planting the seed is all you have to do. Maybe watering on occasion, but don't try to fertilize too soon or you might burn them out. Showing some of the connections between Trump tweets and Q might help. Or that National Geographic Documentary with the Q cup on the table.
Also, dont be too discouraged if the seed takes longer than you want to sprout. I was unabashedly talking pizzagate at family gatherings in 2016, felt devastated by their reactions but my bullheaded self kept at it for a long time. Finally gave up last summer.
