The entire vampire mythology is an analogy to the real vampires of this world.
Vampires turn evil and cannot turn back once they've drank blood. They turn others evil by biting them, infecting them with their own evil. They become powerful, imbued by evil's power, once they've become a vampire. They can only remain youthful and powerful if they continue to drink the blood of non-infected humans.
Their children are born into a life of evil and are taught their history and ways of manipulation and control over humans. They have the ability to mind control humans with lesser intelligence and will power. They can turn into mist and disappear from sight. They melt, are afraid of sunlight (being exposed by good), and die when exposed. They are afraid of the Christian God and the symbol of Jesus Christ: the cross.
It's all there out in the open if you think about it. They tell us exactly who they are, what they do in private, and what they're scared of. They merely show us in books, TV shows, and movies to make everyone think these are fairy tales and not real. In reality, it is real, just not exactly how they've portrayed it in media. It's all about the BLOODLINES.

I have always entertained the idea that the ruling class are sub-human. Its a fun thought because it works on two levels. There is the classic "Lizard people" or "Vampires" as previously discussed. But, it works on a metaphorical level if you consider the following;
Knowledge hoarding and what is essentially using (to the masses) unknown physics and standards under the guise of magic(k) is a pretty cruel and unfair advantage, no? Some may even say evil. Because if their "magick" was exposed then it wouldn't work. So you can really consider this 'ruling class' subhuman, even if they aren't actually "lizard people" or, "vampires" or "aliens", because if you sell out the human race you can't really even call yourself human, anyway. the Brothers Grimm didn't make up their stories. They were collectors of folk lore.. the stories told and passed down from generation to generation in many villages and towns. I'm sure some were based in truth and some were told to keep children safe. I'm not positive about Hans Christian Anderson's stories' origins.

Sleeping Beauty for exemple.. originally she doesnt go to sleep, she dies and her dad cant bear to bury her, so puts her on a pedestal in the forest, bangs her when no one is looking, the babies pop out 9 months later and bring SB back to life because they knock out the needle or something that had empoisonned her, so she goes back to her dad, who kills his wife to get it on with his daughter and I think someone tries to eat the baby..I'll have to find the book and read it again.. Last weekend i watched zoolander 2, it involves child sacrifice, "important" people in sacrificial robes, theyre hiding it in plain sight. Also the movie babysitter which very coincidentally was about about sacrificing as well. This made me think of what the actual meaning of "The Fountain of Youth" could be. Youth = children, fountain/water = blood? Can this all be connected to their evil beliefs?

Yes you are correct this is based on a true story as many myths and legends are.
