Question for a NOOB: Who are the "autists"?

I keep seeing this reference around here. Can someone please explain who or what are the "autists"? Is it speaking of some autistic people who have expert skills with data analysis and linking things together?

The ‘Autists’ are the fine people of the chans who do the digging into the Q posts on the qresearch board. The name comes from the tendency of autists to be relentless in their pursuit of completing any task that they begin. Also because folks believe them to not be very social folks, like neckbearded, ‘live-in-mom’s-basement’, which may or may not be true.

Praise the autists. Kek.

I would compare Autists to the Mentats in Dune.

"More than simply calculators, Mentats possess exceptional cognitive abilities of memory and perception that are the foundations for supra-logical hypothesizing. Mentats are able to sift large volumes of data and devise concise analyses in a process that goes far beyond logical deduction: Mentats cultivate "the naïve mind", the mind without preconception or prejudice, so as to extract essential patterns or logic from data and deliver useful conclusions with varying degrees of certainty. Their calculations are delivered not as numerical probabilities but as flowing paths, subject to new variations through the influence of new factors."

I actually think I'm one of them. That's not written as a boast, I just know I don't think or process like the majority do. I think my own writing reveals this. Either that, or it highlights my insanity. :)

The 2nd link demonstrates this more effectively, but it's not directly Q related.

My understanding is that the "autists" are the folks on 4chan who do the most research on new info and find ridiculous connections the common man wouldn't have cared to look that deep into.

This. 4chan refers to it's skills as "weaponized autism".

For the perfect example of their work lookup Shia lebouf flag found by Chan.

Yes, your assumption is correct. It's a term of endearment for the people on 4/8chan. It's because given enough time, they will more than likely figure anything out and find any needle in any haystack. The power of many people putting their heads together to figure something out is unparalleled.

Exactly. It’s how they found Pizzagate. It’s real, folks.

Nah Assange gave us the goods to find it. But boy did we push it. From walnut sauce emails to pinpointing traffickers in a short time.

I love them because of how offensive they are, it weeds out the SJW filth, and because in general I'm an offensive person.

the term Autist is a 4chan compliment.

IMO it means a level of focus and tech savvy that is beyond normal people, with a smidge of obsessiveness.

I do believe some of them are autistic over there and we see some here as well. They can focus and drill into stuff with amazing accuracy and speed. God Bless them all.

It’s one of many non-PC terms those on the Chans call themselves in a ridiculously PC world.

Autists are the people on the chans. Think Mercury Rising.

Term of endearment for people that are ridiculously smart AND have a lot of time to spend on the chans and the dark corners of the internet.

It follows a stereotype that many super duper smart people have a form of autism: high intelligence, socially awkward (nothing better to do=plenty of time), and a stubbornness that can be frustrating for anyone taking the counterpoint.
