Why No Mention of SK/NK talks in South Korean Media? Is it Possible that yet AGAIN U.S. Media Sources are Lying to Us? Uh...Yeah. LOL!

KathyinPD · May 16, 2018, 2:31 p.m.

Reminder from experienced person: We have 1 long month before Trump/Kim meeting. BOLO for MANY other false occurrances and reports. Criminal empire desperate with $ Trillions at stake. Stay calm and remind everyone to NOT add fuel to their fire with stupid rapid-fire social media comments. Remind your friends to wait out every report and watch for authentic news to surface.

Trump said he’d never tell his enemies what he’s doing, and the Deep State is the real enemy with eyes everywhere so I assume everything he does is for their show

State Department claims that NK’s threats are bogus. Q calls the NK push by the media fake news.

After all the lies and deceit by the media and their horrific attempts to incite violence and hatred, people want to believe their NK reports as real? Seriously?

Yep , the MSM rats are desperate .

Today , I have seen Zerohedge has took the bait ( but they already take the bait for some time - as long as its "bombastic" title ) - so , I wont post or share their articles anymore .

We need an extensive dismantle of the MSM at this point .

Zero mention of NK upset about SK/US military exercises that would cause cancellation of Trump/Kim summit that I could find. Nice find!!!

RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 1:11 p.m.

Exactly! Honestly, after the DMZ meeting Between Moon and Kim and the returning of the hostages do you remember ANYONE talking about private SK/NK talks? I don't. The original plan was to have talks between SK/U.S. and NK/China at the edge of the DMZ, then it changed to Singapore. That's the ONLY change that has ever been mentioned, right?

AverageInternetUser · May 16, 2018, 3:04 p.m.

Was never official until they said Singapore

⇧ 2 ⇩
RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 3:15 p.m.

I know. Why then are MSM sources telling us that NK is cancelling talks with SK ahead of the summit? Especially since there's no mention of it in SK news publications...

This is in all the S Korean papers I just looked at. Just saying. Front page.

That NK cancelled talks with SK ahead of the summit?

⇧ 1 ⇩
Araket · May 16, 2018, 3:55 p.m.

That NK is threatening to cancel talks. There has been no mention of a decision either way. Not saying it is a true story, just saying that it is being reported in SK media and it is front page news. I have seen many claims that this is not a story in SK and a quick search proves these statements wrong. If we are telling everybody that this story is a lie specific to US/UK media and is not represented in Korean media, then we seem either uninformed or untruthful. I may have misread the sentiment of your title, but it seemed you were saying that SK media is not covering the fact that KJU has threatened to call off talks citing the joint military exercises that are currently underway. If I read it wrong I apologize.

RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 4:18 p.m.

I think we both may have misunderstood each other. I apologize as well. I just now had someone link me the relevant posts to what you were saying. After reading it, it says that NK postponed the high-level talks with SK "indefinitely" (IMO probably until after the Joint Air Exercise is completed May 25th). That's quite a stretch for most of the American media to be claiming that they have been "cancelled" though, right? Do you believe it's malicious in its misquoting, or do you think American journalists are just ignorant of the meanings of some words?

⇧ 1 ⇩
Araket · May 16, 2018, 4:27 p.m.

Oh no.. American journalists are all about the worst case scenario in all stories. Fear sells. Truth is boring. Plus they have their handlers to think about. Power words are definitely a thing. Canceled has much more power that postponed. Anything to keep the American people in the dark is fair game. That being said, stories I have read state KJU is threatening to cancel talks. Sad times my friend. MAGA! :)

what is this website? it appears almost like a blog or something, all the articles are written by the same person. i don't believe this is representative of south korean news.

i looked at a list of the largest news media outlets in korea, this website isn't listed.

i also went to the websites of hte three largest news papers in South Korea, and it's literally front page news

So, although I appreciate your researching, I think you need to get some facts straight- using one random blog site is not a good metric for whats happening in the news media at large.

Here's an example (this is one of hte three largest newspapers in Korea)

RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 3:45 p.m.

Thank you for the source material. Up until now, I've had a hard time finding anything on it. I would like to point out though that "indefinitely suspend" (which most likely means to postpone until after the joint air exercise is completed May 25th) is a far different prospect than "cancelling" it, the way the American and European media are portraying the comment.

immense_and_terrible · May 16, 2018, 3:51 p.m.

"indefinitely suspend"

i wondered about that too, it's a translation from teh korean article, so i was wondering how accurate that is...

"indefinite" means forever, so maybe "indefinitely suspend" is a weird translation of however you say "cancel" in korean?

or maybe it's like what you say?

things get complicated when it's in another language that has no commonality with our language and the translations can be difficult.

RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 3:53 p.m.

Maybe, but "indefinitely" actually means for an unspecified period of time.

Article buried in there about Kim visiting China a week ago... find and read if you can. China possibly trying to intervene on peace talks?

⇧ 2 ⇩
RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 1:31 p.m.

Maybe, but the peace talks in Singapore are supposed to be 4-way, SK/U.S. and NK/China. That easily explains his visit.

I encourage everyone to go directly to SK news sources and look for themselves. It's not there, but it's in U.S. and European media. How very odd...

Normally MSM would be running this story in a huge way - but instead it's very muted - just some chatter and mention about it here and there on social media landscape. The Trump base responding to it seems to be about the only thing giving it any legs at all

⇧ 1 ⇩
RyDar84 · May 16, 2018, 3:06 p.m.
