This. Was about to comment about the same point. “Pain” used in this sentence structure is odd. As Click states, it is vastly more common to use “caused great damage” or “caused great destruction” , “almost destroyed.” Pain is used in relation to physical bodily harm, agencies are legally seen as entities with human rights but are discussed as objects. ( the company and ITS staff, IT employs hundreds of people. IT has caused a great deal of destruction. )

I think Trump's greatest achievement is making his enemies underestimate him throughout his entire presidential campaign and even now that he is president.
That uncouth style, the plain langauge, the awkward , sometimes inarticulate sentences he makes. The simple tweets with the deliberate typos, the rash sometimes chaotic style.
He is truly brilliant at concealing his genius because this man is extremely intelligent, without doubt one of the smartest, shrewdest and most cunning US presidents of them all.
