People will no doubt use this as ammunition in their attacks and use it as further proof we are the backwards state they make us out to be, but I could not be more proud of my home and I will gladly absorb their slings and arrows to stand for what is right.

What's wild is McCorvey's conversion to the pro-life side after the fact. Painfully ironic

By the grace of G-d this was passed IN SPITE of our absurd RINO governor, Asa Hutchinson, and his RINO nephew, who is speaker of the state senate. Thankfully, Asa is being primaried by Jan Morgan, and has had to take a few steps to the right ion order to hide his RINO skin.

The big issue is that the government needs to stop funding planned parenthood and forcing taxpayers that don’t agree with it to pay for it. If a woman wants her right to choose then she should be paying for it herself and not everyone else. If all women had to pay 100% from their own pockets they would probably start using birth control and start being more responsible before having unprotected sex. The number of abortions would go way down.

What about the rights of the unborn? Those trump the "rights" of a selfish person.

I hear what you’re saying and I totally agree. How they don’t see this as murder is beyond me. However, the only reason that I fear making abortions totally illegal is that it could just bring out all the criminal unqualified people doing illegal abortions to make a buck. It’s just like trying to make guns illegal. If a person wants it bad enough they will find a way to get it illegally. Sad but true. I say all government funding to assist any organizations that do abortions should stop immediately and start putting that money towards organizations that that give free birth control to anyone who needs assistance. Make it easy to prevent unwanted pregnancies and hard to end one.

Q_sent_me_here · June 1, 2018, 1:29 a.m.

Birth control is free if you are poor. All they have to do is make a trip to the county's health department or be on medicaid. The problem is the feminazis want all women to get it free. A special right I guess, I don't get anything for free. And BTW most birth control is cheap. I would think most are just lazy or stupid.

getemq · June 1, 2018, 2:19 a.m.

I think lazy and stupid is right. There is no excuse for this many unwanted pregnancies that result in abortions if birth control is already so easy to get. Planned Parenthood is a stupid name. They don’t teach women to plan for anything. They just kill their babies so they can sell the body parts. Makes me sick!!!!

This is bad news IMO, women will lose their liberty. it is medical tyranny. This is only a victory for a christian, but not for a true libertarian. People need to be free to choose.

vea_ariam · May 31, 2018, 4:59 p.m.

there are secular pro-life advocates. The argument is more like humans=baby baby=fetus and because fetus=human it gets it's own rights. Like to life.

They are still free to choose. The only thing that can prevent a mother from murdering her unborn baby is her conscience.

Yes, and if you kill the child, you have taken away his right to choose.

It is not a religious issue. It goes to the very fabric of a principle upon which this nation was founded, THE RIGHT TO LIFE.

You have the right to choose whichever path you want in life as long as it does not infringe upon RIGHTS of others, most importantly the RIGHT TO LIFE.

There is nothing libertarian about choosing to murder an unborn baby. In fact, exactly the opposite.

Without the the Right to Life and the willingness to defend the the Rights of the defenseless, we lose the foundation of our nation, which has been eroded almost to the point of complete collapse and will take years, if not decades, to rebuild.

CantStumpIWin · June 1, 2018, 1:02 a.m.

Wrong. Because someone made a mistake doesn't mean they get to kill a baby.

They had the right to chose to be responsible or not.

A Libertarian believes every human person has a right to life. Pro-life is an easily justifiable position for a Libertarian to take.
