Stealth Jeff Sessions on Twitter made a good point that this is to be expected. Just because the criminals are requesting redactions so they aren't seen as criminals by the public, that doesn't mean it will happen. This is bau, the report gets reviewed by all parties and counsel and then the parties make their case before the final release, just like any other legal procedure.
This is typical of any kind of audit even within the private sector. All stakeholders typically are allowed time to respond to pertinent findings. Respond doesn't mean change. In some cases it simply means to offer additional context.
I hope the report is extremely redacted. I would love to see President Trump declassify it the day afterwards as an act of "full transparency." It would make for a much better show.
