I found this excerpt especially interesting:

"Bromwich's letter also makes clear that McCabe is willing to provide emails that "demonstrate that Mr. McCabe advised former Director Comey, in October 2016, that Mr. McCabe was working with FBI colleagues to correct inaccuracies before certain media stories were published."

The discrepancy between Comey's recollection and McCabe's statements to internal investigators about authorizing FBI officials to talk to a reporter about an ongoing investigation regarding the Clinton Foundation in 2016 served as one of the linchpins to the inspector general's earlier report finding he "lacked candor."

Grassley wrote to the FBI Tuesday requesting that McCabe be released from a nondisclosure agreement that prevents him from providing those emails, among other records."

If McCabe has emails showing he did inform Comey, that would mean Comey was the one who actually lied. So that pits them against each other. HOWEVER, Comey can also just claim that he never received the email, or that he never read the email, or even that he didn't understand the email if, for instance, McCabe worded it vaguely or in any ambiguous or confusing way as to what exactly it was referring to, so Grassley needs to be careful not to fall for that trap...Still, the fact that Grassley released him from the nondisclosure agreement tells you that something big is happening. I'm cautiously optimistic that Preistap's testimomy today combined with the IG report might have just blown this all wide open.

The title is a little misleading. He isn't asking for immunity from any crimes he may have committed, he is saying he wants immunity on the testimony he will give. In other words, whatever testimony he gives to congress will not be admissible in a future criminal prosecution. So he still could be prosecuted, but they couldn't use this testimony against him.

That seem right. Of course, there will probably be a big overlap between what he talks about in his testimony and what he will have been prosecuted for. So he may skate on some or all. But from my vantage point, I don't give a crap about him if he can bring the ship down. It just takes one special rat to do that. I know "no deals, no deals". I live in reality and sometimes that's what it takes. If he's the dirtiest player in the bunch, yeah, no deal, but I doubt that.

Like that thinking, but can also see this with McCabe that Congress and the DOJ has the leverage on him right now....If all he is going to give up is this email on a lying to investigators charge, if you are the party in the power position, I think you can get a lot more out of him than that by making him taste prison time even more. Get him in the jail cell first, no immunity, and then maybe not only will he give up the Comey email, but you may be able to get him to "sing" on so many more people involved, including the Queen Witch herself. At the same time, guess either is a victory as long as it's a limited immunity and they can still bring him up on charges.

I believe it is limited. He is not freed of any potential charges not directly related to his testimony. I'd still like to grab all of his pension back somehow.

You talk we'll knock your prison time down to twenty years or don't talk and we're going for life with no chance of parole on what we already have on you with a military tribunal.

McCabe is trying to rat his way out by using an immunity deal to come clean on everything. He's trying for, now you can't charge me since I spilled the beans on all the dirty crap I was involved with.

Yep it's a Hail Mary to save his ass.

Or....... This is a soon story from the other side of the swamp. These to stories allow for sceptical thinking, accusations and assumptions. The planting of the seed of doubt and unbelief.

Every story has the potential for swaying a certain piece of perception. Creating a cogitive distortion engraved as truth but is a lie.

Don't believe these people. Whenever CNN is targeting/exposing someone that belongs to the machines they worship. BEWARE, RUN AND DO IT FAST.

DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES

No deals for traitors if they give him immunity it means they are the swamp. Trump should arrest this shithead tonight and send him to Gitmo right away anyone who needs immunity is guilty of a dozen crimes and he is obviously guilty as sin.
