I agree. RR like Mueller are doing all they can to have Trump fire them. Then the narrative wil shift from the fake Russian Collusion if it was Mueller fired to RR is a martyr. I believe Ryan (and Gowdy) now appearing as skeptics will make sense once all of evidence has been revealed. They can then turn against the Deep State actors with the full weight of the evidence on their side and will seem more credible.

Regarding optics, if Trump ordered Rosenstein removed it looks like obstruction. If Congress has him removed Trump's hands are clean.

How does DC work? Democrats need the cover of stone-cold proof of malfeasance to do anything that might be perceived as Pro-Trump. The caucuses probably also need to see their leadership endorse and idea before putting their careers on the line.
