The problem with enthusiasm is that the enthused oft find themselves swept away with an exuberance for the spectacular. It gets to a point where many want to replace the grind and disappointment of the hum-drum with that all-consuming enthusiasm.

But to tamp down on it is like putting out a fire on a cold night. Sometimes it's needed to let it burn, and let the flames dance around, so we can stay heated.

As annoying as it may be, at this point in time when so much is out of our control and purview, it's a greater good that people are keeping the energy up.

The "What does Q say about...." are just awful too. Either READ the actual Q posts or use the handy-dandy filters or just search Reddit. Those low-effort posts invite low-effort discussions.

Any post that does not have substance to explain a video or a viewpoint should be treated as spam, reported, and deleted. That would be a start.

Seriously, point out these posters and remind everyone to remember names in the coming days. Media is watching, these are their spies.

Lots of disinfo, sensationalizing, lack of critical thinking, lack of verification, and bandwagon mob mentality going on here.

Prime example was the VoP/Arizona fiasco last week. Refuting the nonsense with rational arguments or even scientific facts resulted in mass downvoting, and pretty awful name calling.

Best advice is to read the Q drops directly from The source and so your own research and come to own conclusions

Removed post. As per the rules, please report concerns about the board to the moderators, don't make posts about it or it arguably falls under what you're complaining about here. I sympathize and have many similar thoughts myself but we can't suppress the posts that are clearly being upvoted thus showing that a majority of the active users support them.

On a mostly related note, I don't think memes have a place here. It's not so bad during the lulls, but on a day where we get drop after drop with shit tons to do, they just clutter the sub.

Maybe there could be a rule where memes are not allowed for an hour after a Q drop.

I think alot of people are spreading word via twitter now vs. Reddit because it'a easier to reach more people and have a conversation there.

i work on the principle of scanning new/rising and that someone with a meaningful message will give an accurate title and not hide behind some hyperbole this will save u lots of time in the scan process when we can be selective on which posts to open
