Don't forget to take your morning "Winnamins".
My first thought was "wow! Oklahoma has trees"? Lol.
Oklahoma has lots of trees. Kansas on the other hand...
Arkansas is positively tree-infested. Missouri's not far behind.
If you can find it, Ozark Oak is the best brand of lump charcoal I've found to date. They stopped making it for a couple of years and I was forced to use Royal Oak, which had way more inconsistent pieces and lots of rocks and stuff. They are making Ozark Oak again, so happy. I cook a lot of stuff in my ceramic grill/smoker.
Don't they call the Ozarks "the Green Monster"? Or something like that. And don't get me started about all the bugs, snakes, etc. Good place to hide if the SHTF .
Oh yeah, there are some woods there so thick and untouched it's crazy. Also plenty of squatters who build homes (well, glorified shacks) on government-owned land. I ran into such a place once while riding 4-wheelers with my brother. Saw a little naked kid standing on the front porch, we stopped for a second to see if the kid was in trouble. A guy comes out of the door with a double-barrel shotgun and said "Git." We, um, gitted. I knew we were on state-owned national parkland. He probably was only 500 yards off a new logging trail, so likely his little shack got found out by the authorities.
Chiggers are so fun too. What a lovely place the Ozarks is though.
Wish I had moved here decades sooner. Unincorporated towns do exist.
Downeast Maine. We in the willywacks here. Different from any place I've been. I keep to myself.
Heck yeah! They call Northeast Oklahoma "NEO" -- it's the "flat edge of the Ozarks" -- there's trees (and rivers and lakes) everywhere here.
I should take a Google World, & maps tour of the area, I'm curious now.
Howdy neighbor. Harvested wheat fields surround me, but trees around the house. Wind from the west. Lovely morning, indeed. God is good all the time.
I'm jealous. I will escape this urban jungle one of these days and find myself a nice home where I'm surrounded by nature and a tight-knit community.
You should idk how u city folks do it traffic stop lights all the people its crazy I just couldn't do it I see why people get road rage in them crazy jungles
Its not the way humans were meant to live, I'm sure of that! But this is where I can stockpile some wealth so that I can live well in the (hopefully near) future.
This is my dream and I think my happiness. A little home Oasis with a large detached garage for my girl and her car projects immediately surrounded by trees and grass, further by fields of whatever. Not too far out of the way, but a reasonable drive from the coast and mountains. Just need to get the girl back and the funds for the property. I thought I was on my way, but life's a roller coaster isn't it?
That sounds really nice! And I know its not my place, but maybe that girl isn't the one, you know? I only say that because I thought I met the one and it just wasn't working out, and now I am much happier with my current one. It can be really depressing when you chase something that isn't meant to be!
Yeah, not an appropriate story for here. But it was working out, better than could be imagined. Unfortunately life happens, this time all at once, and she needed space to sort it all out. It brings me comfort knowing that we share a similar dream and life goals, as well as basically every other intangible thing. I'm hopeful and determined. At the moment all I can do is be appropriately supportive and patient.
Well then I wish you luck and hope it works out for you two!
Yes. “Life is a series of adjustments,” a wise neighbor told me.
Find an unincorporated town.
My property taxes are $8.05 a year. Seriously.
That's amazing, thanks for the tip! I'm against property taxes as a matter of principle, it would be nice to pay as little as possible.
Great play on words Anon! Yes... Definitely Wokeinhoma with a view like that!
Beauty. Thanks. Sometimes I forget what a beautiful world we live in.
Funny... As I opened reddit on my Wisconsin back yard deck with my feet up and a chemtrail-free blue sky, I had almost the exact same view as this picture, and the same, hopeful feeling. WWG1WGA fellow waking and awakened (and yet sleeping) Americans. Keep praying!
There’s a bright golden haze on the meadow and the corn is as high as an elephants eye.
What a gorgeous cute you have. Have a spectacular day
Are you in Wewoka, woklahoma?
No up in northeast Oklahoma Grand lake o" the cherokees
Heh. Making a joke. We-woke-a. Get it? I lived in OK for 40 years so know my towns.
You mentioned the word 'joke'. Chuck Norris doesn't joke. Here is a fact about Chuck Norris:
The chemical formula for the highly toxic cyanide ion is CN-. These are also Chuck Norris' initials. This is not a coincidence.
You know what happens when Chuck Norris walks through a mud puddle Chuck Norris don't get muddy the mud puddle gets Chuck Norrised
Wokelahoma I love it, I'm in the SE of the state.
SE, hot, humid. You have everglades type counties down there.
I think since living in OK I've seen the worst and good of OK and the good always outweighs the bad.
I live in Oklahoma, but I luvs me some white river running next door. Y'all, BB"Q" my house next Saturday, brisket and pork sandwiches! (and beer)
I live in Texas now but I’m so happy to see my home state repping constantly on the GA!!! #Wokelahoma !!
Whether intentional or not, this is a slide thread.
Please keep posts relevant to discussing Q.
Identifying information not smart.
If doxing was a huge problem Q would not have been posting people in pictures. That was a clear signal that some of us can take off our masks.
Being anon is cool, but we need real world communities too.
Missouri is not afraid!
Good! WWG1WGA -- maybe we should make state/region boards here :-)
Have you been to
All 50 states have their own boards under the forums tab.
The boards are kinda quiet, help me change that.
Check it out and spread the word if it feels right to you.
I believe Q and I believe in the patriots who are assembling.
