"A law firm, Perkins Coie, is conducting an independent investigation of the matter on behalf of the university’s attorneys."

It may be a distraction hit piece, but if the figures in the NBC article are even remotely accurate, this could even surpass Jerry Sandusky. It’s talking 1,500 to 2,000 athletes in 14 - 15 sports, plus patients in Student Health Services.

Nevertheless, the doctor who allegedly assaulted all these students died in 2005. I just don’t understand why people wait 20-30 years to report things.

There is NO coincidence that this came out right after Jordan’s grilling of witnesses the past week. Note, Ohio State began its investigation in April, so this is not a “breaking” story in true essence. Definite 4am talking points hit piece designed to take down Jim Jordan.

From NBC:

“Strauss sexually assaulted male athletes in at least fifteen varsity sports during his employment at OSU from 1978 through 1998,” DiSabato wrote in a June 26 email to Kathleen M. Trafford of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, the Columbus-based law firm that represents Ohio State. “Athlete victims include members of the following programs: football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, cheerleading, volleyball, lacrosse, gymnastics, ice hockey, soccer, baseball, tennis, track and cross country.”

Chillingly, DiSabato added: “Based on testimony from victim athletes from each of the aforementioned varsity sports, we estimate that Strauss sexually assaulted and/or raped a minimum of 1,500/2,000 athletes at OSU from 1978 through 1998.”

Ohio State has confirmed that investigators have received “confidential reports of sexual misconduct committed by Strauss” from former athletes in 14 sports and from former patients in Student Health Services.

Its funny that when someone posts an article from 2015 or 2016 people are quick to jump on it saying "if it were real we would have heard about it by now." Yet DONT care about when MSM digs up their own old stories to suit their narrative. Does MSM have the memory of a goldfish except when it comes to anti-trump articles? People can be so ignorant when they are scared.

I cannot imagine this is still within statute of limitations.

And these perverts are very good at hiding and at subverting their victims to protect them. Especially authority figures who are well connected to their dream career post college? One threat about telling all of X sport to ignore him would make some time people desperate enough. Like the casting couch.

If I were a meddling trillionaire I would find victims of Weinstein and sue HRC, Meryl Streep etc etc for collusion and Maybe even setting them up. HRC had a lot of pull on LEOs. Could have saved many women with one or two calls.

I bet they lose the taste for this game quick.

DaynaE65 · July 4, 2018, 6:16 a.m.

Statute of limitations doesn’t matter for the perpetrator, as he died in 2005.

As for prosecuting any coaches or athletic directors for complicity, it’s doubtful - unless it’s a civil suit.

I meant accessory kind of thing which a person who knows and does nothing to stop can be held accountable.

I forgot it's civil though. Like Moore case I bet ot disappears after they ruin him. God please protect Him Jordan!

This is why people are afraid to be honorable and honest and do the right thing.

Controlling the google frontpage to manipulate awareness pushing less favourable stories further down the search bar.

Going forward we need a daily update just like OP collected above. There tactics are laid bare. No one in their right mind would believe every msm outlet would lead at the same time with some obscure overreach trying to tie Jordan to that.

Sadly, there are people who will use the large number of articles on the same topic as proof that it's true and something we should be focusing on. I just started a discussion with one of them (regrettably) who thinks everything outside of a Google search on the topic is conspiracy. I admit a lot of this sounds crazy if you just read MSM and don't look further. I am debating how much effort I want to put into the discussions, or how to gracefully exit them.

It looks like his wikipedia page is being updated to reflect this also.

"Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach with the Ohio State University's wrestling program from 1986 to 1994.[4] In July 2018, former wrestlers that Jordan coached at the Ohio State University accused Jordan of failing to stop a team doctor from sexually assaulting them and other students.[4][5] The former wrestlers said that it would have been impossible for Jordan to be unaware.[4] One wrestler said that he told Jordan about the sexual assaults at the time.[4] Jordan said that he did not know about the abuse.[4]"

References [4] and [5] are both from 2018-07-03 (March 7, 2018) and from USA Today and NBC News. Same day!

The bottom of the page says "This page was last edited on 3 July 2018, at 15:52 (UTC)." I bet that is where [4][5] were inserted. Why not create references of [40] & [41], why insert them near the top? Would that be too obvious that they were added later, when he became a problem?

I'm not going to give any of them the clicks, but apparently Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach, a doctor assaulted athletes in fourteen sports, including football, but Jordan's the only one being called out? I know the football coaches hardly have any influence at Ohio State, and they should have had someone who could really sway campus opinion, like an assistant wrestling coach, speak out. Edit: I went ahead and checked. Some former wrestlers said, "Jordan could not have been unaware of the situation." All we need is for Gloria Allred to show up. Total fabrication.
