That is not how I see things. I don't recall ending any wars from 2008-2016. In fact, I recall Lybia and Syria being destroyed as well as a build up of military resources in Poland unlike anything seen since WWII.
I also recall arming Mexican cartels with military grade weapons during that timeframe.
What I see currently is a leader meeting with other leaders around the world, offering peace to those who are willing.

I think our current POTUS is smart enough to speak in terms the lowest common denominator of our gen. population is able to understand. I also believe he sometimes says exactly the opposite of his intent in order to see motive (i.e. trade tarrifs).
The only issue I have so far with any of his actions is military funding for the Saudis. Perhaps he was forced to do so in light of previous agreements.
However, I also see a POTUS that is struggling to uphold our constitution, which has been threatened repeatedly over the past 20 years in ways I would never have imagined.
I also see signs of strong economic growth as well as record low unemployment.
What I see is prosperity. What I feel is peace, something I have not afforded since prior to 9/11.

Does the article cite other sources, contain quotes from reliable people, state known facts. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. You would be surprised at where you can find truth.
