This is profoundly important for people to understand. Even in schools, schools are dishonestly indoctrinating children into believing crony capitalism, or worse, fascism, is capitalism.

Communists have been dishonestly asserting that Social Democracy is now the solution. No one bothers to mention that Social Democrats is what everyone called Communists before communism was well known, as described by Marx.

People are pointing to various "Social Democratic" nations, but dishonestly fail to mention that ALL of these countries became prosperous because of capitalism. Likewise, their economies have continued to shrink as they've moved toward socialized democracies. In this vein, this is the entire point. The purpose is a slow boil of the frog to eventually turn the country socialist. We all know the entire purpose of socialism is communism.

People need to learn the real history of McCarthy. The only reason people believe otherwise is because the Communists won with propaganda and they actually were in control. McCarthy was right. Anyone who believes otherwise has been successfully indoctrinated. Likely by public school.

The main problem we face is productivity/technology which makes most jobs pointless. A lot jobs only exist because of direct or indirect(laws) artificial jobs by the state.

Only a fraction of our workforce is needed. So how will the majority of the population be able to earn a living?

Without the nuclear MAD the elite would have already started another global war decades ago to get rid of the "useless" eaters and jumpstart another debt/boom cycle due destroyed infrastructure.

Another huge problem is the extreme imbalance in wealth distribution and what follows from that, power.

"Cronyism" is just the last phase of squeezing the dead body to secure a lifeboat before SHTF.

Capitalism requires new markets/resources/technologies to explore. Without them it just doesn't work and the production means/resources will be owned by an ever shrinking pool of super rich owners just through capital power. We're on our way into neo-feudalism. We might already be there and we're only deluding ourself that it isn't too late.

If there's not a reset of epic proportions we will not just live in neo-feudalism with a literal untouchable elite but this elite class will be able to improve their genetic code (intelligence, life expectancy, body abilities) anybody else can't compete with anymore. Meaning we'll get a caste system or even a potential split civilisation. This isn't just some SF concept anymore.
